Some Uncle Albert Crocker headcanons (and my design sheet) ���️✨️✨️🧞‍♂️

[Tried to come up with a hairstyle for him, but ended up just giving him a messier version of Denzel's hair. Also made his eyes the same color Dolores has (but without heterochromia, it's only her personal feature in my hc). And idk why I see him wearing a red shirt, just his vibe. Might later look up fashion of different decades to make outfits like in "The secret origin of Denzel Crocker" time periods.]

I view him and Dolores Day as twins (though all Crockers look alike, you can never tell) or at least siblings who are identical in personality. They are both, in contrast to Denzel, cheerful, friendly and easygoing. Also, while Dolores Day is pretty affectionate and loving towards his son, she has some vague understanding of his personal space and boundaries. This man doesn't. His love for his nephew can't be contained or controlled, so every meeting with him ends up by Denzel being hugged and squeezed. That's one of the reasons why Denzel isn't very excited about his uncle, as shown in "Genie Meanie Minie Mo". This thing happened gradually, though, as he was actually liked his uncle's presence when he was a child.

So, uncle Albert lives in Canada, yet during Denzel's childhood he was living in Dimmesdale in order to help his sister (she was, after all, left alone with her child). So he was kind of the man figure in the house, helping her with the stuff she couldn't do (especially technical things, that could be where Denzel takes his inventor abilities). And he also was like a father figure to Denzel, a relative who was always around. He'd also tell him different stories about genies. Dolores wouldn't really mind his obsession as he experiences it differently, and having a genie-obsessed brother helped her cope easier with her son's craziness in the future.

I view Denzel and Albert as sort of opposites. They both have an obsession with magical creatures. But while Denzel is too insane about fairies, wastes his whole life and energy on proving their existence and is miserable, Albert is just a chill guy who oh so happens to believe in genies. I don't think he minded a lot when he was put in the mental institution. And I don't think Dolores is shocked by this either. They just exchange presents like a sweet family.

So, like I said, young Denzel really liked spending time with his uncle. But as he was growing up and gained his interest that distracted him from anything else, he would try to avoid Albert (because it is a relatable thing for teens and youth to leave adult company to adults at the dinner table and also because HUGS), perhaps he would lock in his room doing some researching and only come out to say hello or goodbye.

Character

Denzel Crocker is the mentally troubled school teacher of Timmy and her friends. Greatly obsessed with mythical creatures, he is determined to discover their identities and research about their existence, hence making him somewhat a threat to Timmy. Quite bitter about his misery and physical deformity, he wished he could have at least changed his appearance without suffering a pain from cosmetic surgeon. However, his life changed when he encountered ViviMagnus’ secretary Verndari who offered him a chance to fix his life. He is greatly fond of his half-nephew Kevin who bears resemblance with him. Even though he often mistreats Timmy, there is a running gag he let her off the hook whenever she does something reminded him of his first love; Timmy’s mother.

Background

Denzel was son of Dimmsdale’s prominent politician Mitchel Ralph Filner and his wife Dolores-Day Crocker, as his former name was Denzel Filner. As a child, he greatly admired his parents. However, his childhood wasn’t functional as his father was actually cheating on his wife and they would be heard arguing as they usually left him in hands of Vector, his strict and horrifying babysitter. This prompted Denzel to have Cosmo and Wanda as his godparents. However, at some point, in May 15, he lost his fairies as their existence was exposed, his figure deformed from the overdose of Forgeticen from the memory wipers. Because of his disfigurement, his father abandoned him and his mother for his mistress who was mother of Denzel’s half-sister Delilah.

It is revealed that he developed a crush on Timmy’s mother in his teen years but was ridiculed for his appearance when he confessed to her. When he was in 30s, he become Dimmsdale Elementary School teacher. When he encountered Delilah who has more successful life that himself become a homeroom teacher as well, Denzel become enraged by this and lost all respect of his father. When Timmy first attended the school in his class, he was bitter towards her for she was related to her mother who cruelly rejected him in their teen years. When he suspected that she has fairies, he wanted to capture them and research for their power source. However, when his half-nephew Kevin befriended her, he stopped pursuing to ruin the girl’s life. Aware of inferiority complex towards his own appearance, Timmy one time arranged the accidental encounter of him and ViviMagnus hoping they could fix the issue. And weeks later, Denzel returned with completely different look.

- The Crocker family are descended from the Bitterroots (specifically they are descended from one of Alden’s sisters). The Crockers carry witch blood; all the males in this family are infertile. Before they were Crockers, they were Glovers.

- Denzel and Denise are estranged half-siblings; they share the same mother but different fathers (“Chip Off the Old Crock”).

- Denise had Kevin with Elliot and later married Molly’s father, Marvin. Shortly after Season 10, Molly and Kevin become step-siblings.

- Uncle Albert survived the 50 years time was frozen, but he passed on in my ‘fic Come What May (mid-Season 10).

- Chloe's parents refer to themselves as “co-parents” (“Fancy Schmancy”), which was interpreted to mean they’re cohabiting and are not married.

- In “Whittle Me This,” Chloe stated she has an uncle who “dresses like a nurse and yells at buses.” This uncle is Robert.

- The Carmichaels are mostly estranged from Connie’s family, whom they consider politically incorrect (“Hare Raiser”).

- Chloe shared a picture of her nana (Pauline) in “Chip Off the Old Crock.” Chloe is an only child with zero cousins; she’s a pretty lonely kid.

- Chloe and Kevin changed their surnames to Crockermichael when they married.

- Sick of his parents, Foop runs away from home and spends a human lifetime living with Chloe and Kevin as their foster / adopted son.

Dolores’s name is Dolores Day Crocker. i’ve seen it written as “Dolores-Day” meaning that’s her first name, but in Odd Couple when it was her dating profile, it was separate. so what if Crocker isn’t her maiden name, but Day is

that would mean Kevin’s mother might not be a Crocker at all, that Kevin’s surname isn’t Crocker, and that Uncle Albert isn’t Crocker either...which sorta sucks...

i mean she could still be “Dolores-Day” as one first name, or maybe but was a stage name because it sounds better (and if she was working for the FBI at the time too, having an assumed identity does name sense)
