Despite her return to this place and aware that they aren't roommates anymore, Hikaru was found on a bench at a nearby park at Golden Ward which is her new ward to live in. Again, better than Fibonacci.

"Oh, hello Hiyori." She only sighed after missing a reunion chance with a dear friend from her world. She tried asking random people from her contacts to know if she was really here but no answer.

It was her fault for not being there last month which she was 'away from the stars'. Regretted, even.

It was divine! Umi on her collaboration with Taehyung.

I love her music and I have been waiting eagerly to see what she and Tae sounded like together and I have to say I am not disappointed. The chorus especially when their voices combine is particularly nice. Whatever U R is like a shot of the Layover vibe on a cold winter's day.

So, who is Umi?

According to Wikipedia, Tierra Umi Wilson was born in Seattle on February 9th, 1999 to an African-American father and a Japanese mother. Her mother taught her how to read, write, and speak Japanese. Her mom plays piano and her dad plays the drums; Umi started writing music when she was only 4 years old! Her best-known song so far is "Remember Me" (150+ million streams on Spotify).

This is her Twitter account; judging by her posts, she seems really talented, kind, and positive! Here's a great short interview where she talks about how black and Japanese culture shapes her music and artistry:

At midnight EST on December 29th (one day before Tae's birthday!), Umi will release the song "Wherever U R" featuring V of BTS. You can pre-save it here.

Frankly, Umi seems awesome, and I'm so glad this collab introduced me to her.

Both she and Tae seem really excited about the song, and so I'm eager to support both artists when it comes out... while, of course, still working hard for Closer Than This (keep pushing! we have 'til midnight tomorrow to place in Hot100!)

And remember, diverse playlists lower filtering rates, and we have lots of great new music from BTS to stream as well!

The man has good taste. I really love her music. Midnight Blues has a very similar feel to Rainy Days, lost in memory, pining for an absent someone. I can see why it might appeal to him.
