oh man. your cold / hypothermia pngs are so lovely... some of my favorite items of all your curations on this blog. so amazing. okok, here's more stuff you may be into (could also be a png theme): the game firewatch, the movie song of the sea, the myth of fionn mac cumhaill, the love cervere, the rainbow goblins by Ul de Rico, and the story of kudzu the plant that ate the south. so good! for a proper png theme req: supernatural the tv show (yeah ik.. sorry) <3 much love.
I hadn't heard of any of the things you recommended and everything seems genuinely interesting. Especially the story of kudzu! And "the rainbow goblins" is gorgeous! Thank you <3
If I could recommend something for you, it would be Ivor Cutler's poetry and music.

The Inspiration of Rainbow Elves (Jim's Species) 🧝🌈✨
I want to tell you and everyone the inspiration about Jim's species (that I come up with). Rainbow Elves are inspired by a very old book called "The Rainbow Goblins", book by Ul de Rico.
"Rainbow Elves are born of different color like orange, blue, green, ect (Except black brown and grey. But might be 2% rare chance thought). Although, there are some of them who had one different color hair like (Green skin with red hair), but they don't judge, bully, or abandoned them. Since Rainbow Elf is a Rainbow Elf still. So yeah.
They are all also born with magic. Like Jim here, they have magic. They go to school to practice their control and so of their magic.
All Rainbow Elves live in a peaceful village called Iris Village. The town's name is named after the legendary Queen of Rainbow Elves: Iris Songbird. She's the first Rainbow Elf on the fantasy world many years ago. She has rainbow hair and beautiful albino skin. They say that Iris died of illness many years ago after the village was built by Rainbow Elves for them to live peacefully from some dangers. And they had Iris's name to their village, so they won't ever forget her and everything she had done for them."
Hope you enjoy this!

20. For Jim
"What is your fantasy oc inspired by? ❓"
I wanna say Jim is inspired by Roger Rogers from a Pixar, Disney+ original series: "Monsters at Work". Because you know, they both have the same vibe. They both can play an happy song with an string instrument, they both like making everyone happy, and they both are happy-go-lucky.
Jim's also a bit inspired by Paulette from a 1996 Italian-Japanese anime called "Cinderella" or "Cinderella Monogtari". As you are wondering, Paulette is a witch or is as the fairy godmother of the series. So yeah. Anyway yeah, I imagined Jim to be like Paulette since Jim is pretty helpful and is born with magic. And both Paulette and Jim are gentle, caring, and kind too. So yee. ^w^

I want to make a happy elf fellow who wants to help people, soo yee! ^^
Oh! And I want to tell you and everyone the inspiration about Jim's species (that I come up with). Rainbow Elves are inspired by a very old book called "The Rainbow Goblins" created/book by Ul de Rico.

Whew! Okay, that's all for now, but yeah. Thanks for the ask @fizzypopsoda-comics ! ^^

The Desaturating Seven
Someone on Twitter just introduced a new thing I haven’t heard of before called “The Seven” by Primus. It’s one of the songs in an album project based on a story called “The Rainbow Goblins” by Ul De Rico about seven goblins who plan to eat the most magical rainbow and fill their bellies with color. The person said that the song would fit the Seven Deadly Vices AU...
AND IT FITS!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZVToL4LhDQ
I never knew this existed and it’s just so creative.
Bonus Idea: The Vices perform this song/story to some kids during or off-case somehow.
Or alternately:
“Okay... let’s eat the Rainbow Man.” (Hugh Bliss)
