USC Ascend - USC Ascend Bowling Social

You can now RSVP for Ascend USC Chapter's one & only bowling social of the year starting now! We have invited professionals from a variety of industries such as accounting, consulting, entertainment to meet the needs of USC students; at the same time, we invite you and the professionals to have fun and to take a little break from all the busyness of life.

You will have the opportunity to interact and connect with different professionals from Big Four and Disney in a social and enjoyable atmosphere. 

 Ascend Bowling Social is free to Ascend members and non-members will be charged $6. The event is on a first come first serve basis. Please don't miss out! Attire is comfortable clothing. 

Carpool is provided for both members and non-members. Please meet in front of EVK at 6:20pm. If you prefer your own means of transportation, please be there a little before 7pm to check in. The best phone number to contact is 312-560-7778.

USC Ascend - Inspiration Across Generations

Ascend USC Chapter’s signature event of the semester is open to RSVP starting today! This time, we have invited professionals from various industries including accounting, entertainment, banking, advisory, consulting to meet the needs of Ascend members.

You will have the opportunity to speak to and receive personalized feedback from professionals in companies such as Bank of America, Ernst & Young, PwC, Armanino, Walt Disney, CDTFA, etc.         The deadline to RSVP for Ascend’s signature IAG event is Tuesday, October 3rd at 11:59 PM.  IAG is free for members and non-members will be charged $6.  Individual mock interviews are limited to members only and is first come, first serve.

Ascend - Alumni Talk

Our first event of the semester, Ascend Alumni Talk, is quickly approaching on Wednesday, September 20th from 6 -8 PM at JFF 240. The event is open to both Ascend members and non-members. We will be featuring three professionals from the Ascend LA Metro Chapter:

• Thomas Phelps – VP Of Corporate Strategy & CIO at Laserfiche, previously worked at PwC in cybersecurity for over 15 years. • Anoop Lall – Director of Financial Markets at PwC for over 10 years, previously worked at KPMG as a senior associate and interned at Merrill Lynch. • Danny Le – Global lead partner of KPMG and has over 20 years of global experience in IT governance and transformation.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain insight into the professional’s day-to-day work lives, learn about different business industries, and build their network. Following the speeches, there will be an opportunity for students to speak one-on-one with professionals and ask any questions they may have.
