#UPDATE: THE TWT RUMOR CAME FROM A FANFIC IDEA THAT SOMEONE TOOK AS REAL

Let’s start with what DID happen today - it came out today that Harry co-wrote a song called “Changes” with country singer Cam (not blackbear, sorry) for her upcoming album “The Otherside” . She was was the supporting act for Harry at the Ryman in 2017. I can’t WAIT to hear it! An old picture of Zayn was released on Joanna Simkin’s instagram story, along with some backstory: they went to shoot in crowded locations in Soho and shot the whole campaign that way - incognito in plain sight! Niall is not hungover, because he drank on Saturday (with Sam Smith, who ALSO has credits on Cam’s album!). How weird is it that we keep seeing the same few people/places/song names pop up in different combinations??

And that’s all for what IS actually true - now let’s get into what’s NOT:

Louis and Harry and Niall were NOT actually spotted in LAX. This was a rumor that started on twitter late last night, which apparently stemmed from an anonymous account that put up a picture of Louis and Harry in LAX, and then promptly deleted. Guys. Please believe me when I tell you I spent a good two hours chasing this rumor and trying to find an original image or source - if this picture (or this account) ever existed, I could not find a record of it. To me, that is a good indication that it’s false.

Also, Louis has NOT officially been signed to Columbia. It came up today when Republic World released an article that named Louis as a “popular artist” that is on the label. The reason that this rumor continues to pop up is that all of the One Direction boys are under Columbia because that is the band’s label, and so all of them are listed as Columbia artists. Sorry, people, I know we’re all on the edge of our seats to see what Louis does next, but we’ll have to wait for a bit longer!

In other FAKE NEWS: Harry is NOT being looked at for an X-men reboot! How do I know this? Because there is no X-men reboot in the works that anyone knows of at this time. Dark Phoenix rounded off the First Class Series, and, since then, the fandom (who would know) has had no solid indication of new films being in the works. Although! Their Big Bang is coming up, and I DO recommend you check out that fandom’s work, if you’re at all interested!
