One more from this day in 2018. I got to go out and walk the chalk hills that day with friends I’d never met and as we walked and talked they showed me flowers and identified butterflies. I saw a chalk horse in the side of a hill and climbed a big barrow grave at the top of another. It seems like a dream now.

this is very niche posting but the edinburgh tattoo this year feels like it's much more of a stage show than a showcase if that makes sense, like I wanna see the people in funny hats do some marches and tunes, not a bunch of dancing and shit

Six years ago, the movie Urban and the Shed Crew won the People's Award and Richard won the Best Actor Award as Chop at the Newcastle International Film Festival.

5 years ago I visited this place with some people who live nearby and know way more about it than I do. I got inside the circle and took loads of pictures. The weather was grey but not raining like it was a few mornings later when I visited again.

But also. This means the peculiar books are OVER over. Like DONE. For real over.

Though no one, not even Ransom said he won’t ever return again, but yeah :( definitely no peculiar books for a WHILE now. Makes me sad
