Reunion
Pairings: Daryl Dixon x teen!reader, Tyreese Williams x teen!reader, Carol Peletier x teen!reader, Judith Grimes x teen!reader (all platonic obviously)
Requested by Anonymous: when the prison fell you and Daryl got separated, this is how you meet up, based on this request
Warnings: mention of blood, fighting, mention killing walkers/zombies, killing people, Daryl hug (yes that’s a warning), knives, guns, mention of killing kids, Terminus, hopefully if you read this you’ve seen the episode and knows what it includes, but ya know typical twd stuff.
A/N did I accidentally write this way longer than I intended yes, yes, I did, now don’t get me wrong the moment where Tyreese defends Judith is iconic but for the sake of this fic I changed it up, kinda wanna make another part
For you who wants to know the episode is season 5 episode 1
Anyway I hope you enjoy this <3
Judith giggled happily in your arms as you walked on the edge of the railway. You could’ve once imagined all kinds of trains going up and down the tracks as they blew past the trees, but now you couldn’t actually remember much about trains, you had the idea of them but not much details (and if a train were to come right now that would’ve been a miracle).
Tyreese walked a few steps behind you, with Carol in the front, as she led your group of four forward. She came to a stop when a sign that states “TERMINUS” showed up once more. It was your headed path, the sanctuary called Terminus. You personally didn’t trust it, not after the Governor, but you had to find Daryl and the rest of the group. You knew that if any of them were still alive they would’ve gone to Terminus after finding the railway. Which all of them had probably done. Along with finding Daryl you also had to get Tyreese and Judith to safety. Tyreese wasn’t fit to live on the road at the moment, he refused to kill anything that came your way leaving you and Carol to kill stray walkers, or animals for food. Judith, well, she was a baby and sometimes could be screaming all day, she was mostly quiet but the times she did cry was the times walkers got attracted. A baby was no way near fit to be on the road but here you were all of you somehow still alive (except for Lizzie and Mika Samuels, but there was no loss for you over Lizzie that’s for sure).
“We’re close” Carol stated as she saw the sign. “I’m gonna get you all there, make sure you’re safe, but I’m not gonna stay” She saw your face morph into disappointment as you nodded your head, a sad smile on your face. You’d missed her while she was gone and now she would be leaving again, and you didn’t like it, not one bit and you knew Daryl would be sad over it too which didn’t help the matter.
As you heard the rustle of leaves behind you in the forest, you all turned around to see two walkers stalk forward in your direction. Tyreese motioned with his hands to take Judith from you. Judith was carefully switched over to Tyreese and both you and Carol went forward to the walkers. Both of you killed them quickly only to notice the herd that was about to come out of the forest. Carol whispered to Tyreese that more were coming, and so all of you went into the opposite side of the railway. You hid in the forest until the walkers got distracted by shots firing not too far away from all of you.
Tyreese looked worriedly at you as he started to talk. “That gunfire it could’ve been from Terminus”
“Someone was attacking them, or they were attacking someone” Carol responded
“Do we want to find out?”
This time you involved yourself in the conversation, as you believed that you did indeed need to find out. “Yeah, we need to find out, If the others are there they might need help”
With that, and Carol's instruction of walking another track that would get you there as well you all started to walk once more, this time in need to find out the truth.
Your next stop had been outside a small worn out cabin, but it wasn’t the cabin that got your attention. What got your solely attention as you hid in the forest with your companions was the man that talked in a walkie-talkie. He was putting up a bunch of fireworks, no doubt to lead the herd of walkers away from Terminus. You could faintly hear him mention a woman with a sword, and you stopped Carol from going forward. As you continued to listen you heard him mention a kid with a hat and that was all you needed to go on. You didn’t think there were that many women with a sword and kid with a hat together nearby at the same time, so it didn’t take much to know that they were talking about Michonne and Carl. Nor did it take long to realize they had done something to your group, thereby also Daryl. Especially when he mentioned bleeding the kid out.
Carol slowly started to creep up behind the man and you followed not far behind. Tyreese more hesitant but still following. She put her gun toward his head, the young man froze and put his hands up still holding the two way radio. “Keep your finger off the button and drop it”
“Listen, ya’ll don’t have to do this. Whatever you want, we got a place where everyone’s welcome”
“Shut up man” it was what all three of you were thinking but Tyreese was the one to say it.
“Okay”
“We’re friends of the chick with the sword and the kid in the hat” Carol pressed the gun against his head forward, making the man lean forward as the gun touched his head.
It didn’t take long for you and Carol to tie him up and drag him (not so carefully) into the cabin leaning him against one of the walls. Throughout the whole ordeal the man continued to tell the three of you that you didn’t have to do this, that you could all come up with a deal, but he had no luck there.
As Carol made herself ready to scout Terminus out to see what was happening Tyreese continued to hold Judith in a protective embrace. You however had been asking the man questions, finding out that ever since the first questions he had been lying. He told you he only had Carl and Michonne, that they had both attacked them out of nowhere, that they were just protecting themselves. But none of you believed him. Not with the things you heard him talk about before you confronted him.
You would of followed Carol to Terminus had it not been for your will to protect Judith and Tyreese. As much as you loved Tyreese he wasn’t in his right mind. So you stayed to help if anything bad were to happen, to walkers coming your way or your prisoner getting free somehow, it didn’t matter you were there to protect your family. You only hoped Carol wouldn’t need any help.
Talking about your prisoner he was even more shatty when Carol left. Apparently a teenager, a baby and a man who he could clearly see wasn’t going to kill him was no threat to him. It was his undoing in the end. He underestimated you both and it showed in the way he talked to you and Tyreese as you sat by Judith, who’d you made a makeshift bed to.
“She got a name?… Hey, she got a name?”
“No” you answered at the same time Tyreese answered “Judith” you glared at Tyreese as he told the stranger her name, you didn’t want to give him any information, you never knew if it would backfire.
“She your daughter or something?”
“She’s a friend”
“Huh, I don’t have any friends… I mean I know people. They’re just assholes I stay alive with. The other one your friend, the woman” the younger man nodded towards the door that was now closed. Tyreese slowly looked away at the comment being conflicted about his answer. So instead you answered.
“Yes”
The man nodded and his voice that had now started to annoy you filled the room once more. “I used to have them… used to watch football on Sundays. Went to church” he let out a small laugh as if the thought of it was unbelievable. “I know, I did, but I can’t picture it anymore… it’s funny how you don’t even notice the time go by, horrible shit just stacks up day after day, you get used to it”
Tyreese turned his attention towards the man and spoke with distaste laced in his voice. “I haven’t gotten used to it”
"Of course you haven’t, you’re the kind of guy who saves babies, it’s kinda like saving an anchor, when you’re stuck on a boat-“ you had by know decided to drown out his voice as he tried to make justiciable to let him go.
Your thoughts got filled with Daryl like they had for the most time since the prison fell. You missed him. He always looked out for you. Ever since you met you were drawn to each other. Daryl used to pretend he hated you, especially when Merle was around he couldn’t have his brother think he was soft. However everyone knew he had always secretly looked out for you ever since he met you he’d felt the need to protect you. It came to the point that whenever you wanted to go on a run to get new supplies or do anything really you’d always ask Daryl. You had never spoken about it to each other but there was a silent agreement between everyone even you and Daryl that you were his kid and he your father. It might not be by blood but it was how it had come to be. Everytime something happened to you if you got hurt or if you were sad they’d always notify Daryl, but most of the time he already knew and would be with you to try and cheer you up in his own moody way. When you’d been out on the road before you found the prison you’d always sleep next to each other making sure the other one was safe. Even in the prison your cells were next to each other. He always looked out for you. He taught you how to hunt, he taught you how to use his crossbow, and to fight people to be able to protect yourself. Like Judith was “little asskicker”, you were the “big asskicker”. You couldn’t help but to miss him and the thought of him being hurt from the people in Terminus made your stomach hurt. You didn’t really want to voice your thoughts but you needed the reassurance and Tyreese was the only one who knew who Daryl was and could give reassurance. So against the warnings your mind gave you, you voiced your concerns.
“Do you think Daryl’s okay?” Your voice came out quieter than you expected as your mind filled with more scenarios in which Daryl had gotten hurt in.
Tyreese turned from Judith to look at you. He tried to give a reassuring look on his face as he answered. “I’m sure he’s fine Y/N”
”So Daryl’s your dad, maybe boyfriend” he continued to gues what Daryl was as you made no indication of actually giving anything away to him. After a while he stopped, he wouldn’t get anywhere with you, but he was still confident that if he talked enough to Tyreese would let him go.
“See, you’re a good guy, saving babies and teenagers.
“You have no idea about the things I’ve done”
“You’re a good guy, that’s why you gonna die today, it’s why the baby is going to die, why the Y/N is going to die” both you and Tyreese stood up taking an intimidating step towards the man, your knife pointed at him. “Or… you can get in that car, get out of here, keep on being lucky.”
“You think you’re gonna kill me?”
The man turned his sole attention to Tyreese as he answered him. “Why haven’t you killed me? How does having me alive help you? Why the hell are you even talking to me? Take the kids, take the car and go, I don’t want to do this today”
“For your information we could always use you to get more information or w e could kill you know, like you said we have-“ you got cut off by an explosion going off. Tyreese rushed to the window to see what was happening and saw the smoke over the forest.
“Is that Terminus?” The man moved forward as if trying to see out through the window but he had no luck in that department as he slouched back towards the wall.
“Yeah, probably”
“Maybe you’re gonna win this, maybe your friend, I mean maybe that woman just got capped, maybe I’m gonna be the one who gets capped when she comes back”
“Nobody’s got to die today”
“Man if you believe that… the it’s definitely gonna be you and the kids, even if the place is burning to the ground”
“Man maybe you can shut up and stop talking before I kill you myself” the man took his eyes of Tyreese to look at you as you had your knife pointed at him an annoyed look on your face. He didn’t believe for a moment that a teenager would be able to kill him, nor win in a fight against him. He had a way to high ego to think that you would be able to do any harm to him, he underestimated both you and Tyreese and when he heard as well as saw Tyreese look out at the walkers coming toward the cabin he moved quickly and soon enough his hands went to hold Judith in a hold that would be easy to break her neck.
He told you both to drop your weapons and you both did so not wanting him to hurt Judith. As he saw the walkers claw at the windows he looked towards Tyreese telling him to go outside. As Tyreese went outside he went over to you and bound your hands together with some spare rope just like you had done to him earlier. He made sure the knot would hold before he went I’ve r towards the wallow-talkie and tried to connect to the woman (apparently named Cynthia) on the other side.
While he did all that you tried to desperately tie up the knot that held the rope around your wrist together. Right as you were able to get rid of the rope around your wrist (thankful Daryl taught you how to do it) the noise from outside stopped. It became deathly quiet and the man looked towards were the last pounding against the walls had been. He took out his knife and was about to kill Judith when you quietly and quickly grabbed the knife that was laying right were you left it beside you on the floor and you ran over to the man. You saw red as you knocked him over, he had threatened to kill Judith and Tyreese. Threatened your sister and one of your closest friends. You knocked him towards the floor and your hand went into the air as you threw it down onto him repeatedly stabbing the knife in your hand into him. even after he was clearly dead.
Tyreese had to carefully walk over to you as he took the knife away from you. He told you that the man couldn’t hurt them anymore nor the walkers, everything would be okay. You appreciated his comfort as you hyperventilated for a few minutes over the fact that you’d just killed a human. You’d killed walkers before but never a human being. In your mind it was justified as he was about to kill all of you anyway, but you still felt like you’d lost something inside of you.
It was a while later when you glanced out of the window and saw Carol as she walked towards the cabin, Rick not that far behind. You broke out in a relieve laugh as a smile spread briefly over you lips, this made Tyreese glance out towards where you were looking. You booth scurried to get everything as you both wanted to leave the cabin not being comfortable to stay inside any longer than you needed to.
As both you and Tyreese stepped out of the barn you glanced at the people led by Carol. Your eyes scanned the crowd looking for one person in particular.
Daryl stared at you in disbelief he couldn’t believe you were actually alive, he’d seen you get shot, and without medical attention he guessed you’d died. He hadn’t wanted to keep hoping in case he would someday find your corpse rotting away (either as a walker or actually dead).
Daryl took in your bloodied state, you’d no doubt had to fight. Dirt and blood covered most of your clothes, and your face had a few cuts covered in dried blood. Your once white shirt was miss colored and your jeans had been ripped in some places, your jacket had blood stains all over it. Daryl could only guess what you’d gone through to end up looking like that (he didn’t even look that bad). He didn’t like all the blood covering you, he didn’t like not knowing what had happened, he didn’t like being away from you, he needed to protect you, he’d lost Beth to a couple of strangers, he wouldn’t lose you too.
When your eyes finally found Daryl, you had a soft smile on your face as you saw him visibly relax at your eye contact. While Rick and Carl ran towards Judith in Tyreese’s arms, Daryl stumbled forward towards you, dropping his crossbow to the ground. You met him halfway and he engelfulled you in a tight hug. You’d never know nor would anyone else but Daryl let a few tears fall in relief as he hugged you tightly knowing you were still alive, actually alive. As he felt you wrap your arms around him he felt you hug him just as tight, the comforting sensation you both brought each other was all you needed to ground each other and know that either of you were dreaming, this was real and both of you were okay.
As Daryl heard you sniffle he realized you were crying and he hugged you even tighter, taking one hand to your head and petting it softly — not knowing fully how to comfort someone, even now, having comforted you all those times before he still was unsure if he did it right. However he did know that you were crying from relief, because he did the same thing. You had your father back and he had his kid back and knowing that, you both knew that everything would be okay in the end. You were yet to be bested by someone when together, even when apart you always won, always found your way to back to each other. You would beat this world together and that was all that you needed to know, and the fact that neither of you were planning on leaving soon.

Can you do Daryl finding out reader is trans? Early season 4, perhaps? :3
Attentu - Daryl Dixon x FTM Reader
Your wish is my command!!
Warnings: Gore, murder, violence, blood, cussing, mentions of transphobia and death, and addictions.
Word Count: 2.6K
You eagerly join in on the medical supply run, despite the group's awful luck. A confession from Bob has you feeling quite guilty about a personal matter...
-
It was dead.
You threw the car battery to the side, sick of the luck your supply group had. Daryl was on the other side of the room, shuffling through drawers in an attempt to obtain the right part. For an auto repair shop, it was horribly disorganized.
“Got anything?” you called over, impatient.
A grin took over your face as he tossed the find at you, catching it in a firm grip, “Nah.”
The car was not in terrible shape, not really. Some rust here and there, with paint scratched off from long road adventures before the outbreak. Your father had a similar car when you were just a child, and he was insistent that he passed on his knowledge, despite your mother’s constant objections. It was not fit for someone like you; that your hands should never be calloused from the tough ground nor covered in grease, she said. He always ended up laughing in her face.
So as he would have it, the two of you got in all sorts of trouble. Hijacking cars, picking locks, prying cabinets open with a pocket knife; all things he said would come in handy one day. Daryl seemed like he had the same type of upbringing, all rough and tumble, and perhaps that’s what drew you to him. That, or he was just really damn good with surviving.
Daryl’s footsteps creaked as he led the way out of the building, shining his flashlight on any possible threats around. Someone had to, as you weren’t keen to look after Bob found an old walker stuck under a desk, ending that misery. It was the only one left. One by one, you circled out of the building, with Bob’s silent trepidation behind you as you arrived back at the car. Daryl opened its hood again, and you both set to work.
His voice was muffled around his cigarette, “You never told us about the group you were with, before.”
You glanced up as Bob replied, “Which one?”
“You know,” he continued, when Daryl gave him a look, “when you found me out on that road, I almost kept walking.”
“Why’s that?’
“I was done being a witness. It happened two times, two different groups.”
…
“I was the last one standing, like God intended for me to see it over and over; a curse,” he shook his head, pursing his lips, “but, when it’s just you out there with the quiet, I used to drink a bottle of just 'bout anything just so I could sleep at night.”
“The run to the big spot, I only did it for me.”
You froze, a jug of clear liquid still in your hands. Daryl took it from you, completely unfazed, and managed to get a swig out of it.
He licked his lips, “You gotta keep busy somehow.”
“No, I did it so I could get me a bottle, a bottle of anything. That’s what got Zack killed.”
“That’s bullshit,” Daryl peered at him, “why don’t you get in there and try the engine? Should be the red and green wires, it ain’t rocket science.”
Even as Bob walked away, you stayed silent. Your fingers burned as you rigged the working car battery back in, but never as much as your thoughts. The other man nudged you, urging you to take your hands off as the engine roared in front of you. He clapped his hands and brought them up to his mouth; a sharp whistle rang through the air. Bob’s alcohol troubles seemed to be forgotten by Daryl, since he gave you a rusty smile while you slammed down the hood.
“Nobody coulda’ known, and you ain’t gonna be standing alone. Not anymore,” he reassured Bob.
You huffed, swinging a few plastic bags of gas in the back seats, ducking to join them. Tyreese and Michonne got the rest and the three of you squeezed together with the luggage, closing the door. With that, you left the burdensome place behind.
The ride to the college was short, but Bob still parked a little ways out, and the group set off to walk the rest of the distance. You passed most of the buildings on campus; dull brick that plants jumped at the opportunity to outgrow after a year of inactivity.
“Looks like the building we want is up ahead,” Tyreese stated.
For the first time since Bob’s confession, you spoke, “Are we splitting up? We’ll cover more ground that way.”
“Is that safe?” Michonne questioned, and Daryl eyed you.
“I know I can cover myself, if I end up alone.”
The brunette scoffed, and you shifted a glare at him, “You know I can, too. You’ve seen me.”
“I think,” Bob uttered, “it’s a good idea.”
“We don’t have a lot of time, I’ll shoot if I run into any trouble. Meet me back at the car.”
Outside of the Learning Resource Center, you split from the group, sneaking close to the ground. You heard the rest shuffle in the opposite direction with a soft “C’mon, c’mon.”, and let out a shaky breath. Two pairs, then three pairs of footsteps faded away.
The lights of the wing flickered and let out fading sparks as you padded along, dust pillowing up from wherever you stepped. God, the outbreak sure did a number on this place. Shadows grew as abundantly as the plants, but never dulled the smears of blood along the walls, floor, and shattered glass. It cracked and snapped under you, somewhere behind you, and you hissed as you looked at the walls alongside you. There were several doorways leading to different rooms, most likely supply closets or classrooms. Carefully, you dipped yourself into the nearest doorway, a heavy feeling on your back. Your heart pumped wildly in your chest and your stomach had a sick pit of anxiety as you thumbed through the biggest drawers. There were plenty of jars, containers, and vials, but none of them had what you needed. You read all the labels once, twice, the text in messy handwriting or tiny fonts.
Testosterone, in its liquid form made for injections, should be a clear liquid. You knew that much from what your provider told you, and from your own studies. Any colored liquids, or any with particles floating inside, you discarded from your search immediately. You were taking too long, you started to think, or were you? You didn’t know if you were gone for ten or if you have been here for thirty.
Once again, you slid back into the trashed hallway, trying to make your way towards the next doorway. The only things you could hear were your quick breaths and a creak, most likely from the forgotten building. A set pattern was in your mind as you dove into the room, and the haze of adrenaline made it hard to think. Walkers, as the prison liked to call them, were not your biggest concern. Even before the outbreak, it was dangerous for you to step outside; to live your life. If you passed by the wrong person, your face would be on the hot topic of the community for the week after. Getting caught was not an option.
You blinked, trying to clear the thumping in your ears. The vial’s label looked like a foreign language, though you knew it wasn’t, so you peered closer at it. A gust of hot air hit your neck, and again. Hot air. This place was cold.
Your fingers scrambled for the knife at your side, it was there, wasn’t it? You slashed before you could think. Hair scratched your fingers; your knife dug into a warm crevice. The hot air turned into a raw, groaning noise. The hot air stopped.
You pushed the body to the ground and your blade was released. The blood trickled hot down your wrist. Instead of the red you expected, it was a sludgy, filthy brown. It dripped in slow droplets on the floor beside your shoes. This was the first opportunity to look at the thing, and what a sight it was.
The knife had caved in a part of its skull, which itself was like a rotten, stomped on pumpkin. It oozed and dripped the same muck over the tile, muddying the disfigured face underneath. It made Osbourne’s stage trick look like simple child’s play to anyone who witnessed the act. Its eyes were still open; bulging out in that manic, hungry way only a madman got before the outbreak. You looked away from the mess, your breakfast seizing in your throat, and you busied yourself with getting more testosterone vials in your bag. The most important thing was that it was not human, not anymore.
Stuffing your full hand in your bag, you made a beeline for the doorway.
You should have learned your lesson.
A weight tumbled over you and knocked you to the floor, breathless. It screeched, rabid, like some sort of fucked up dog. If a dog hadn’t eaten for a month, that is. It stunk, too. It stunk so bad that you thought you might die from suffocation first.
It clawed at you, gnashing its yellow teeth. Your hands were pinned underneath the mass and you heard your knife land across the floor with a clang. This was going to be it. The end. It’s funny, isn’t it? Dying searching for your lifeline. You almost giggled at the irony.
The teeth were close to your neck, aiming to kill. To eat until you were nothing but an unrecognizable pile of flesh and bones. You had to do something, and soon. The only part of your body you could move were your legs, and you tensed them up. You were going to survive this, you were going to get back to that car.
Three.
You struggled to prop your shoulder up, knocking the danger away from your neck. Its eyes were bloodshot and cloudy. As empty as a corpse.
Two.
The walker got more desperate to bite you, wiggling around harshly on top of you. You tried your best to keep your face far away from its own, but it successfully nipped the edge of your nose. This was going to hurt.
One.
Its final noise was a gurgling one, close to your ear. The weight flopped to your right side, stilling its frugal attempt to destroy you.
“You got yourself covered, huh,” a voice remarked.
You wheezed, “Christ.”
“What were you doin’?”
“Shit.”
Daryl stepped over you, pulling his arrow out of the corpse, “I’m serious.”
You finally got your legs under you, and the first thing you did was back a good distance away from him. There was no getting out of this, you both knew that Daryl would know if you lied to him. Yet, he was one of the last people in the prison you felt comfortable telling. Daryl was a classic redneck, with a bigot older brother and a taste for mysteriousness. There was so much you didn’t know about him, and the hair on the back of your neck stood up like a wildfire. You would have much rather told Carol or even Michonne, if you had to choose.
“You know what Bob said.”
“Yeah,” he stated, “but you ain’t an alcoholic. I know that much.”
“I’m not, but that wasn’t the point. I only came on this run for one thing, and it isn’t medicine. It’s testosterone.”
“Why do you need that? You’re strong enough without that steroid shit.”
“I don’t get as much as you do naturally.”
“So a medical condition?”
“Kind of.”
“Even if it was, that don’t explain why you had to sneak away from the group to get it. What’re you hiding?”
“I’m transgender, Daryl. I wasn’t born a boy like you,” you murmured.
There was a parade of footsteps down the hallway, and Tyreese burst through the door, the others close behind. He looked spooked, with sweat dripping down his disheveled face. Michonne and, speaking of the devil, Bob looked no better off.
He exclaimed, “Jesus, there you two are. We gotta go, now.”
“What, why?”
“Walkers. Tons of ‘em. Let’s go!”
You gladly took this chance, shoving past Daryl to dart out into the hallway with the others. Everyone else was rushing, but it was a minute before you also heard footsteps behind you. The infected corpses swarmed the building, even though it wasn’t like that before, and it made you wonder what the hell released them. Your group ran up the stairs with walkers not too far behind, and those trapped banged on whatever surface they could reach.
“There was a ledge near the fire escape,” Michonne hissed, “we can go through there.”
No one responded unless a quick nod could be considered one, and you were off. Michonne went first, then Tyreese, you, and finally Daryl. Your legs were shaking, and you paid Bob a glance. He tensed up, seemingly trying to gauge the distance, before jumping. He was barely right, and landed a little too close to the edge, teetering off. His arms flailed and an army of bodies from below swarmed up to grab his heavy bag. You rushed to catch him, attempting to pull the man up, but he refused to let his backpack go.
Finally, you ripped both the man and his bag away from the grasp of the walkers, panting, “What the fuck were you doing? What’s in that bag that could possibly be so important?”
“He’s right.” Daryl took the bag from Bob, zipping it open.
Bob rushed to stop him, but it was too late. Daryl dropped the backpack as quick as he picked it up, and he seized Bob by the collar.
“If I ever catch you puttin’ a bottle before a need, I’ll feed you to the walkers myself. You hear me?”
You froze as Daryl let the shorter man down, pushing him as he did so. Everyone else shot him a disappointed look or a glare, and Michonne waved her hand. You were all to keep moving; the run was over, and on an especially sour note.
The group arrived back to the prison safe and sound, the most daring of injuries being bruises, or small cuts. Tyreese and Michonne left to do their own activities, while Bob left to lick his wounds. This retired Daryl and yourself alone, to an awkward silence. With nothing else to do, you picked at a particularly nasty cut on your forearm. It was starting to look infected.
You cleared your throat, “Do you have anything left in your bag?”
“Yeah.”
“Mind if I use some?”
“Nah.” Daryl tossed you his bag.
Carefully, you peeked inside. There wasn’t much left, some disinfectant spray and vials of a clear liquid. No, that couldn’t be, could it?
Testosterone. At least three good vials of it.
You raised them up to your face, not believing your eyes, “Daryl, where the hell did you get these?”
“Grabbed them from that drawer you found the others in,” he refused to make eye contact, “after you left.”
“Why?”
“You might’ve needed more than you got.”
That… meant a lot to you. You had expected him to at the very least ignore you, or even worse, disgusted by you. What were the chances he would grab extras for you, just in case? Instead of yelling or hitting or kicking you out of his life, Daryl did that. If you were being honest, this was one of the weirdest coming out stories to date, but nothing can really beat zombies being included.
“You aren’t mad?”
“Nah. I’m a little confused, though.”
“On the topic?”
Daryl sighed, “Yeah. Wasn’t educated that much.”
“Well, if you want, I could help with that.”
Just for a second, he looked you in the eyes. In that moment, you didn’t see hate, anger, or anything negative. Only a sharp, beautiful glimpse of curiosity.
“Yeah.”

The Walking Dead Masterlist
I will be including all of my Walking Dead works here! If you have a character you would like me to write for that is not on the list, feel free to ask!
Feel free to send in requests. Whether it be headcanons, NSFT alphabets, Oneshots/Imagines, or just to talk about the characters! I am super invested in this series right now haha
Slasher Masterlist || Borderlands Masterlist || Request Rules/Characters I Write For
(Before interacting: If you are 17 or under I will be blocking your account. I do not want to feel like I am providing for minors, if that makes sense. I hope y'all understand!)
Daryl Dixon:
I Love You, And I Don't Say It Enough (pt. 1) (Smut - AFAB! Reader)
Daryl Dixon returns to his S/O after escaping Sanctuary when Negan took him from his family. When he comes back to you he's hurt, but he needs you. A happy little reunion between the both of you quickly turns into a lot more.
Baby, It's Okay (pt.2 - AFAB!Reader)
After the little reunion that turned into an intimate moment. Daryl's S/O later finds out she's pregnant due to the help of Carol. She planned on waiting to tell the man so he wouldn't worry about her, or react poorly to her being pregnant. He's ecstatic over the news though, even if it did come as a surprise.
NSFT Headcanons (GN!Reader)
Just as said. Some NSFT Headcanons for Daryl from an Ask Game
Open Up Your Heart For Me (GN!Reader)
Daryl found you back when this all started and he took a liking for you from the beginning. When Rick comes back into the picture, though. Shane gets a little desperate and tries to seduce you, but you aren't interested one bit. Daryl keeps you close, and makes sure you're safe. Later on at the farm he's losing it over Sophia and you're there to comfort him. He understands that you're the person that he wants to survive for. It isn't until the prison that he finally opens up and lets you in, though.
You Know You're Right
Daryl finds a scared stoner and takes them under his wing. After taking him with him to hilltop about a month later. He shows him he was listening to everything he told Daryl by showing up with a battery-operated CD player and their favorite songs. A little weed later, and feelings are being shared through actions.
No Happy Ending
A little Drabble where Reader gets bit and Daryl has to deal with it. Sort of a writing practice but I'll like it here if y'all wanna read it.
Dirty Secret
You're Glenns younger sister and Daryl winds up having a thing for you. You take notice to it and go out of your way to try and initiate a relationship with the archer. With the help of Carol and some of the other girls at the camp, of course. This is set in S1 and I am working on a part 2.
Reader with Vocal and Motor Tics
General Head canons on Daryls reaction to a reader with tics. Could be Romantic or Platonic.
Rick Grimes:
NSFT Headcanons (GN!reader)
NSFT Headcanons from an Ask Game
Hey there, cowboy (MALE!READER - smut)
Rick had been checking you out for months, and the tension between the two of you only seemed to grow. You're a previous rancher and he wants to know more about ranching, even if there isn't too much you can show him. After you dropped your hat though, and he puts it on. You inform him of the "Hat Rule." He seeks you out after Maggie and Daryl inform him on what that Rule means.
Jealous Rick Headcanons
How I depict Rick would react when jealous.
How Rick Acts Before and After Getting In A Relationship(GN! Reader)
You are Daryl's little sibling and Rick is slowly discovering a love for you. These are headcanons on how he would react to discovering that he likes you, and how Daryl also reacts to it.
You Drive Me Crazy (GN!Reader)
A jealous Rick x Reader fic where Rick does not like the way Spencer looks at you. The two of you had been dancing around feelings for months and after you all get to Alexandria you finally convince Rick to let loose and pretty much be your date for the party Deanna and the others were throwing for you all. Spencer gets a little touchy and makes you uncomfortable. Rick is fast to sweep in and save the day. Leading to a little more when he finally gets you back home.
Rick Grimes - Breeding Kink
General Headcanons of Rick with a Breeding Kink
Rick Realizing He Likes Men - (Male!Reader)
Headcanons of Rick discovering his sexuality
Why Can't You Be Mine Already?
This is a continuation of the headcanons "How Rick Acts Before and After Getting In A Relationship". You are Daryl's little sibling and when you get into Alexandria - after months of you and Rick beating around feelings - Rick finally starts taking the reins on whatever your guy's relationship is. He gets jealous over how Spencer is talking with and looking at you. Stuff finally goes down between the both of you after you yell and ask him exactly what the hell you two are.
The Supply Closet - (FTM!Reader/NSFW)
You and Rick go on a supply run to one of the nearby towns from the prison. When you both get there Rick is in utmost awe for you when he realizes you were getting supplies for his kids and looking out for their interests. He's tired of beating around feelings and teasing, so he pulls you into a supply closet and things get a little heated.
Love Letters (GN! Reader)
Super Angsty fic about Rick dying and killing Negan and the letters he left to you and a few of the others. Sort of a fic I used to just get some emotions out.
Safe and Sound
Rick finds out that Deanna sent you and some of the others on a supply run with Aiden and Nicholas. His blood is boiling and he hates that she's sending his people with others that he hardly knows let alone trusts. How does he react when you come back hurt? Not well.
Reader with Vocal and Motor Tics
General Head canons on how Rick reacts to a Reader with Tics. Could be Platonic or Romantic.
Glenn Rhee:
Reader with Vocal and Motor Tics
General Head canons of Glenns' reaction to a reader with tics. Could be Romantic or Platonic.
Eugene Porter:
Hold Me Please - Reader is Maggies little Sister
Negan Smith:
Eugene and Reader are stuck hanging out in the library while everyone else is falling asleep or already asleep. An innocent conversation and an innocent gesture soon turn into a little more. Eugene finally gets to see if you feel as soft as you act, and you get to kiss the brainiac that slithered his way into your heart. Like everything else, it doesn't last for long.
Aftercare Headcanons
Just as it says. Aftercare headcanons with Eugene.
C'mere, Honey-Bear(GN!Reader - Alludes to sexual themes, nothing graphic)
Negan is finally reunited with you after years of not seeing you. He lost you before the world went to hell and due to Rick's group you're safe. You're on your knees at the lineup, and due to seeing you. He lets the others go and you come with him. Both of you expressed how much you missed one another.
My Two Favorites (Transmasc! Reader - NSFW
Negan picked you up and took you to the compound towards the beginning of all of this. The two of you have been around each other a lot and trust each other more than you would care to admit. You have walls, and don't know how to feel when he's finally starting to talk them down brick by brick. After he denies you the ability to leave the compound on your own an argument breaks out between the both of you, and things get a little heated after feelings are told.
Negan Reacting To A Pregnant S/O - AFAB! Reader
Just as it says. Very wholesome content that I enjoyed writing for. Papa Negan is my favorite.
Father of Mine - Pregnant!Reader
Negan and Reader were together before he started killing people for sport. When Rick comes around she helps the sheriff take him down in promise that Negan stays alive. When they get to Alexandria she lets him know of a little surprise she was keeping back.
Rick and Daryl Poly Stuff:
General Poly HC's with Rick and Daryl
Just some Poly Daryl and Rick Stuff. Probably won't write anything more for them since I'm not the biggest fan of writing for Poly relationships (Nothing against them! Just not my cup of tea to write for.) So this may be all you get from me, chums.
Playlists:
(These are playlists for characters of songs I think they would listen to, feel free to suggest bands or songs for me to add to them!)
Negan Smith - Oldie Country music, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Grunge, and a couple Nu Metal songs.

Alone || Rescue Mission
Previous
"Are you going to take the cross too?" Gabriel asked.
After Daryl had introduced Noah, and explained about Grady Memorial hospital, the group devised a plan to protect the church whilst the others went into Atlanta to rescue Beth and Carol.
"What's the problem, I thought God was all around us?" Natalia asked, whilst her and Daryl planted the orchestra pipes around the stairs. "You don't need silly little symbols."
"The cross represents-"
"Talking to the wrong person, buddy." She cut him off. "My faith in God died a very, very long time ago, before the dead started walking around."
He bowed his head, walking away from the pair.
Daryl and Natalia were left alone.
"I'm glad you're back." Natalia muttered, hoping he hadn't actually heard her, but knew she was busted when he looked up at the woman, meeting her eyes. "Sully was missing you a bit, I think. But I wish Carol and Beth were here as well."
He made a gruff noise in agreement.
"We're gonna get them both back, we will, no matter what, we're not losing anybody else." She continued.
Daryl had been caught up about what he had missed whilst he was gone, Bob and the attack.
"I am glad though, that she wasn't there during- when we met... if anything happened to her because I... " Her voice broke off, but he knew where she was heading with that conversation, feeling a heavy weight drop in his stomach.
"We'll get them back." He repeated, nodding at her in some sort of understanding.
Michonne, Carl, Gabriel, Judith and Sully were staying at the church.
The rescue group were bringing Noah along, though Natalia had a bad feeling about him going with, she didn't voice it though, Rick had made the decision for a reason.
Daryl, Natalia and Rick were sat in the cab of the truck Daryl and Noah drove back from the city, Tyreese and Sasha were watching the teenager in the back.
"I've never been in the city after it fell." Natalia sighed, kicking her legs up onto the dash.
"Get your feet down." Rick pushed her legs off, as he drove. "Never?"
"Nope, stayed far from it, heard they were bombing the place, knew nothing good would come out of it, so steered clear." Though she side eyed him.
"We've been in there a few times." Rick told her. "It's dangerous, as long as you stay high and know what you're doing, you'll be fine."
"First time I met Rick, we went into the city cause he handcuffed Merle to a roof." Daryl told her.
Natalia looked towards her friend, stifling a laugh of shock at the revelation.
"Did he deserve it?" She asked.
Rick shook his head around, leaning towards a nod.
"He had to cut his own hand off."
"And you slapped that kid around the face with it."
Natalia looked between the pair as if it were a tennis match.
"Okay, why has neither of you ever told me anything about any of this, that is the funniest and grossest thing I've ever heard."
"They kidnapped Glenn, deserved it..."
"They what? Who?" Natalia asked.
"It was a group surviving in the city, called the Vato's and they were our friends."
"But they kidnapped Glenn?" Natalia repeated, confused.
"We made a deal with them, realised they were good people."
"What happened to them, are they still around?"
"No." Daryl put it bluntly. "They were taken out by another group."
"Oh. I fell off a roof once." Natalia said, not knowing what to say.
"That happened to someone else we knew, he impaled himself, Hershel had to fix him up." Rick told her.
"Oh, what happened to him?"
"Murdered." Daryl answered.
"Yep, course he was, duh." Natalia blinked. "Was it Shane, did he do it?"
Rick snapped his head at Natalia, looking at her with surprise before turning back to the road.
"How do you know about Shane?"
"I have my sources. Carl, he used to accompany me on my watches sometimes, if he was having trouble sleeping. Promised not to tell you, sorry." Natalia caved.
"It's alright, I'm glad he trusts you, and I'm glad you look out for him."
"Course, he's a good kid." She shrugged. "Beth and Carol used to gossip outside my room- cell as well, when I tried to take naps, I used to find it irritating, but now..."
"We're getting them back." Rick breathed, tightening his grip on the steering wheel.
"So how'd you fall off the roof?" Daryl asked, his arm was resting on the door, his left boot was on the dashboard, Rick hadn't told him to take it down.
"Doesn't matter." She shook her head, "I didn't die, though, which has been a recurring incident in your stories."
"You had dead people sitting outside your house when we met you." Rick looked at her.
"I didn't know them personally." She shrugged.
"At sundown we fire a shot into the air." Rick had begun explaining the plan drawing the map of what Noah explained on the floor, when they had got into the city, finding a place to hold up in. "Get two of them out on patrol. Then once it's dark enough that the rooftop spotter won't see us, we go. We cut the locks on one of the stairways, take it to the fifth floor. I open the door, Nat will take the guard out."
"How?" Tyreese asked.
"How do you think?" Natalia asked him. "Slit his throat."
"This is all about us doing this quietly, keeping the upper hand. They're not expecting us. From there we fan out. Knives and silenced weapons. We need to be fast. Tyreese, Sasha, take them. Daryl, you take care of whoever is in the kitchen. I got Dawn. If they're smart, the rest of them will give up. Then It'll be 6 on 3. 7 on 3 when we get a weapon to Beth."
"13 on three. The wards will help." Noah weighed in.
"That's best case. What's worst case?" Tyreese asked. "All it takes is 1 of those cops going down the hall at the wrong time. Then it's not quiet. All hands on deck. We're talking about a lot of bullets flying around."
"If that's what it takes." Sasha said.
"It's not. If we get a couple of her cops alive out here, we do an even trade. Theirs for ours. Everybody goes home."
"Yeah, I get it." Rick stood up. "And it might work. This will work."
"Nah, that'll work too." Daryl intervened. "You say this Dawn, she's just trying to keep it together, right?" He asked Noah.
"Trying and doing are two different things." Noah replied.
"You take two of her cops away, what choices does she have? Everybody goes home. Like he says."
"If even a hair is out of place on Beths head, I don't care who's going home." Natalia gave her opinion.
Rick decided to evaluate both plans, before siding with Tyreese and Daryl, assuring that if It failed, they were shooting the place up anyway.
Noah was their bait, he got in the position and fired the shots, gaining the cops attention.
Noah ran into the alley, letting the car chase him to the allocated spot.
They drove in front of him, hitting the kid with the car before hopping out raising their own guns at him.
"Put the gun down, Noah" The female cop told him.
"Put it down." The male cop repeated.
Noah did as they said, placing the gun on the ground.
"Hands up. Turn around."
The male cop walked towards him, pulling out a zip tie, and pulling his arms behind his back.
"I thought you were smart, Noah. Think we wouldn't hear you?" The female cop asked.
The group snuck towards the two cops, aiming their guns at the two's heads.
"Where are those rotters you were shooting at?" The man asked him.
Rick whistled, catching their attention.
"Hands." He said, when the cops turned around, aiming their guns at the five.
"What do you want?" The woman asked.
"Whatever this is, we can help." The man added.
"You do what we say, we don't hurt you." Rick said.
"Okay." The man put his hands up in surrender, no longer aiming his gun, the woman soon copied.
"Good. Now turn around. Put your guns on the floor and kneel."
They did as told, Natalia dealt with the woman, collecting her weapons and pulling two zip ties out, passing one to Daryl, who was dealing with the man, Tyreese helped Noah whilst Rick and Sasha continued to aim their weapons at the cops heads.
"We need to talk." Rick told them. "There's water if you need some and food"
"Mind if I ask you something?" The male cop asked, as their captors pulled them up.
Rick backtracked, looking at the man, waiting to hear what he had to say.
"The way you talk, the way you carry yourself, were you a cop? Believe it or not, I was, too." He smiled.
"Really? I thought that was just dress up." Natalia deadpanned.
"That's Lamson." Noah told Rick. "He'll be down for this. He's one of the good ones."
A car raced towards them, it's tyres squealing as it drove down the alley towards them.
The group jumped out the way, leaving the cops as they began shooting at the car. Tyreese shot one of the windows, revealing another cop shooting at them.
The cops got in the car, driving off.
Natalia shot one of the tyres, Sasha shooting the other one, air hissed out of it.
They ran after the car.
The car had stopped, Rick halted, telling the others to wait as they looked around at the burnt buildings, and the fried skeletons, that were still moving, but were melted into the tarmac.
They saw the cops running away from the car.
"Two, on me." Rick said following.
"I only saw the two." Natalia muttered to Daryl, as she looked around for the driver.
He nodded, in the direction of the RV, putting a finger to his lips.
Natalia opened the door slowly, whilst Daryl aimed his gun ahead, ready for attack.
No one was present.
Before either could realise, the cop flew out, tackling Daryl to the ground.
They wrestled each other on the ground, fighting as a burnt walker inched towards them.
The cop got his hands around Daryl's throat, forcing his head towards the jaws of the walker.
Natalia raised her hand gun, whacking it across the cops temple, knocking him off of Daryl.
Rick appeared, helping Daryl up.
"Nat." He said, as the woman took the gun off safety, aiming it at the cop, her boot on his chest, stopping him from getting up.
"You win, asshole." The cop grunted.
"We only need two, for Ty's plan." She said.
"No, three's better than two." Daryl disagreed.
"Nat, put it down." Rick told the woman.
"He tried to kill Daryl. We don't need him."
"Nat." Daryl said. "Three's better." He repeated.
She let out a sigh, putting her gun back on safety.
"You try anything again, I'll put a bullet through your skull before you even get a chance to run, I promise." She stood off of him, backing up to let Daryl make him stand, using a zip tie to restrain him.
They had gotten back to the spot, all three cops, under their watch.
"Your friend, what's his name?" The female cop asked. "I need to talk to him. Your plan is going to get me and my friends killed."
"We're going to make it work." Sasha said.
"It would work if you had different cops to trade."
This caught their attention.
"Dawns running Grady into the ground. A bunch of us want her out and she knows it. Pretty sure she knows we want Lamson to replace her, too." She continued.
"Dawn doesn't know that." The third cop said.
"She might. And she's smart. So there's a good chance you can't make this deal work and that'll leave us all dead. But if you let us go, we'll take care of Dawn ourselves and we'll let your friends go and this is over."
"No, we're not gonna do that." Lamson said.
"Do you want to die?" The woman asked him.
"No. I just need you to shut up right now." He told her. "You can make this work. But you've got to be able to talk to her."
"Noah told us all about her." Sasha answered.
"I've known her for 8 years, ma'am. I know this woman. And my only interest is peaceful resolution, not dying, and sleeping in my bed tonight. So, please, let me help you. Please."
"And I want my friends, but your people kidnapped them." Natalia shrugged. "I don't care about your wish for world peace or your bed."
Daryl pat her shoulder, turning around to look at Rick and Noah.
"Hey, Rick. You're gonna want to hear this." He said.
They made the cops sit against the poles, separating Lamson from the other two so that he could talk to Rick.
Tyreese and Sasha raided the car with the white cross, seeing what they could use.
Daryl, Natalia and Noah watched Shepard and the other man.
"You know, we could treat that, give you some ointment, clean the cuts on your face." Shepard said, looking at Natalia's back as she paced.
She stopped, looking at the woman.
"I don't need or want anything from your people, shut up and sit still."
"She's just trying to help." Daryl muttered to her, their faces were close as he talked, not letting the three other people in on their private conversation.
"And I don't need it, we're here for Beth and Carol, not trying to make friends, besides, they don't even hurt anymore."
"You still ain't a good liar." He shook his head, stepping away, starting his own pacing.
She looked over to Sasha and Lamson, they were heading out of the room.
"Sasha!" She called after the other woman. "What are you doing?"
"Just gotta take care of something, we'll be back soon." She said, walking out of the room.
A few minutes had passed, and Sasha hadn't returned with the cop.
Natalia was getting antsy, she had a bad feeling.
"I'm gonna go see what they're doing." She said.
"Alright." Daryl nodded at her.
Natalia walked out the room, heading in the way they had went, her gun was in her hand, the safety off, just in case.
She headed into the south side of the building, not hearing or seeing anything strange.
That's when she saw her.
Sasha was on the floor, knocked out cold.
"Rick!" Natalia shouted as she raced towards the other woman. "Rick! Sasha, Sasha, hello can you hear me?" She asked her, checking her over for injurys or blood.
Rick ran into the room, Tyreese followed.
"Sasha!" Tyreese gasped, running towards his sister, who was slowly waking up.
"What happened?" Rick asked her.
"Lamson, he's gone, he must've done this." Natalia said, helping Sasha sit up as she held her head.
"Alright, I'll find him."
"I'll help." Natalia went to follow but he put his hand up, stopping her.
"No, I need you here, keep an eye on the other two, make sure they weren't in on this."
"Rick." Natalia called after. "We only need two for the plan to work."
"Only if we're forced to." He looked at her, before leaving.
Tyreese and Natalia helped Sasha stand, walking her back into the other room.
Tyreese helped his sister to sit down, giving her some water.
Natalia headed over to the cops, pulling her knife out.
"Y'know he was gonna run?" She asked.
"No, we had no idea." Shepard told her. "We didn't know what they were doing when they left."
"And we're just supposed to believe that, right?" Natalia shrugged. "I told you that if you tried anything, I'd kill you." She looked at the male cop.
"And we didn't." He answered, not seeming threatened by the woman.
"Nat." Daryl called towards her, she looked over her shoulder, at him. He was shaking his head. "They didn't know."
She turned back, assessing the pair, trying to catch their bluff, before standing up, putting her knife back in the sheath.
"We need them for the plan." Noah reminded.
"Yeah, it's cracking up to be a great one, if we did it the other way, we would of had our people back by now, not chasing cops down streets."
Tyreese and Noah had moved the cops to sit in chairs by the time Rick had got back by himself.
Daryl and Natalia headed over to talk to him.
"He wouldn't stop."
"This change things?" Daryl asked.
"It has to."
"Maybe not." He thought.
"Well, she said the plan won't work. The guy who did is dead. Maybe we gotta rethink this."
"They also said the cop in charge didn't have any love for him. Maybe you did her a favour."
"I don't know if they'll play ball."
"So we don't give them a choice. They do what we say, or they die." Natalia said.
They walked over to the others.
"He was a good man." Shepard greeted them. "He was attacked by rotters. Saw it go down."
"Huh. You're a damn good liar." Rick replied.
"We're hanging by a thread here. He was attacked by rotters. That's the story."
"You said the trade was a bad idea." Daryl brought up. "What changed."
"Lamson was our shot. So its this or you go in guns blazing, right?"
"Pretty much." Natalia nodded.
"You don't want that."
"If this is some bullshit you're spinning and things go south..."
"I know. I know the good ones from the bad. Let us help you."
"What about you?" Rick asked the male cop. "You wanna live? How much?"
"Dawn's afraid she'll look weak in front of us. Thinks it'll tip things against her. Hell, it will. She'll see this trade as a rip-off if she thinks you took out one of our guys. So its a good thing Lamson got aced by rotters."
They were on board.
The plan was simple; Natalia, Sasha, Daryl, Tyreese, Noah and the cops would wait on top of the roof, Sasha and Daryl were going to keep lookout whilst Rick went to the agreed vantage point, waiting for the two officers to show up.
Daryl snapped his fingers when he spotted the cop car.
"Rick, they're heading towards you." Natalia spoke into the radio.
They waited in silence as Rick made the offer.
They had accepted it.
The two officers had led them into the hospital, Daryl and Rick led the still restrained cops.
They reached the 5th floor, heading down a hallway, behind the door, 4 cops were stood, their weapons in their hands.
Carol, who was being pushed in a wheelchair by Beth, were behind them, with a doctor.
When they saw the group, they put their guns in the holsters.
"Holster your weapons." The voice of Dawn came through one of the cops radios.
"You too." Rick told his group.
Natalia wasn't a fan of this idea, but done as told.
One of the cops opened the door, walking towards their side.
Dawn nodded at Beth, signalling to stand forward.
Natalia reached for her gun when she saw the two stiches alone Beth's cheek and forehead, and the cast on her arm, but a hand stopped her, Daryl's.
"They haven't been harmed." Rick told Dawn.
"Where's Lamson?" She asked.
"Rotters got him." Shepard answered.
"We saw it go down."
"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. He was one of the good guys. One of yours for one of mine."
"Alright." Rick nodded with his head, for Daryl's captee to walk forward.
"Move." He grunted, pushing the man forward.
Another cop pushed Carols wheelchair forward, letting Daryl take her bag and push her to their side.
Dawn then grabbed a hold of Beth's arm, pulling her forward as Rick did the same to Shepard.
Rick hugged her when she reached him, before letting her walk towards Daryl and Natalia.
"You alright?" He asked her, placing an arm on her shoulder, she offered a small smile nodding.
Natalia hugged the girl.
"I'm so sorry." She whispered, kissing her hair, "I should of been out there with you."
"It's alright." She whispered back "What happened to your face?"
"What happened to yours?" Natalia copied, running a gentle finger just under the stitching on her cheek.
"Glad we could work things out." Dawn said.
"Yeah." Rick nodded, as his group started to walk back the way they came.
"Now I just need Noah." She said, making Rick stop. "And then you can leave."
"That wasn't part of the deal." Rick walked towards her.
"Noah was my ward. Beth took his place and I'm losing her, so I need him back."
"What is your problem, lady? They're kids." Natalia snapped, not able to bite her tongue.
"Ma'am, please-"
"Shepard!" Dawn hissed. "My officers put their lives on the line to find him. One of them died."
Noah went to walk forward but Daryl stopped him, joining Rick's side.
Beth intwined her fingers with Natalia as they waited to see how this turned out.
"He's one of mine. You have no claim on him."
"The boy wants to go home, so you have no claim on him." Rick replied.
"Well, then we don't have a deal."
"The deal is done."
"It's okay." Noah stepped forward, trying to defuse the situation.
"No. No." Rick put his hand out to stop him.
"I got to do it." Noah assured him.
Beth let go of Natalia walking towards her new friend.
"It's not okay." She said, when Noah handed his gun back to Rick.
"It's settled." Dawn replied.
"Wait!" Beth ran forward, towards Noah, hugging him tightly.
"It's okay." He assured her, hugging her back.
"I knew you'd be back." Dawn said.
This seemed to spark something inside of Beth, as she let go of the boy, walking towards the woman.
Natalia took a few slow steps forward, seeing what the girl was about to do.
"I get it now." She said.
She then stabbed something into the woman's shoulder, than a shot ran out, blood sprayed out of Beth's head as she fell to the ground, a gun was in Dawn's hand.
"Beth!" Natalia screamed, running forward, falling to the ground as she held the dead girl, her friend.
Dawn cried out that she didn't mean to, but Daryl didn't give her the chance to finish her sentence, firing his own gun, into her head, her body fell backwards as her own blood sprayed out, splattering the crying woman as she shielded the lifeless teen.
Everyone else in the hallway pulled out their guns, aiming at the opposing sides
"No! Hold your fire!" Shepard shouted. "It's over. It was just about her. Stand down."
"Beth." Natalia's voice broke, her hands shook as she ran her fingers down the girls face. "I'm so sorry, I'm so, so sorry, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you, either."
The cops put their guns away, but Daryl didn't still keeping his eye as he held back cries.
Carol walked towards him, sniffling as she patted his shoulder.
He bent down besides the woman, as they both cried.
"You can stay." Shepard offered
"We're surviving here." Another spoke up. "It's better than out there."
"No." Rick said, tears pooled in his own eyes. "And I'm taking anyone back there who want's to leave. If you want to come with us just step forward now."
Noah was the only person to walk back.
Daryl picked up Beth, holding her in his arms, as Rick helped Natalia to stand, as soon as she did, she went straight back to the girl, petting her hair, her whole body shook with her tears, following Daryl as they left the hospital.
To Natalia, it felt like the same pain as the night she lost her family, Beth was like the sister she never had, sure they had lost people before, but Natalia never felt close to them as she did with the teenager.
When they walked through the door, outside, Maggie dropped to the floor, sobbing loudly at the sight of her younger sisters lifeless, bloody body.
A funeral was held for the girl in the first field they had found outside the city.
Daryl and Natalia stood next to each other, their fingers were linked, just like they had done when Beth mourned her father at the morgue, the same place they had lost her.
When her body was buried, the group let Maggie have some space with her sisters grave, Noah had shared that him and Beth were planning on going to his old community, where his family were, in Richmond, Virginia.
They had taken separate vehicles, Rick, Michonne, Tyreese, Glenn and Noah rode in one car, the others in the rest.
Carol had a radio, Rick had the other one, that's how they were going to keep in touch with each other whilst Rick and his group headed towards Noah's home, perhaps their new home.
It had taken two weeks to get to Virginia.
It wasn't.
Another funeral was held, for Tyreese.
They had each taken turns of shovelling dirt onto his grave whilst Father Gabriel gave the sermon.
His beloved hat rested on the cross, just like how he had worn it everyday.
Rick had decided that they would carry onto Washington, Eugene had lied about the cure for a reason, and they were going to find out why, even as they dealt with their grief and regrets.

masterlist
it was a hard year for you, you've lost too many people you cared about and gained more to care about.
your mother, lori, she died after giving birth to your baby sister. your little sister and brother were your angels.
they were the reason you still kept going, along with your dad, and the memories of your mom.
you had grown to care about the people of woodbury that now resided at your home, the prison.
whether it be the children, elders, teen, and adults. you absolutely love sasha, tyreese, and mika.
"hey, honey." carol smiled at you as she continued stirring the pot where all the people and your meals is being cooked.
"hey, carol. you didn't wake me up." you groaned at her as you walked to stand by her side.
"you were tired from the run yesterday, rick would kill me if i exhaust you too much." she smiled at you as she cut onions.
"i'll cut them." you smiled at her as you took the knife and chopping board.
"thank you. and i didn't wake you up because everything here is handled." she assured you.
it was early morning and no one was up yet, it gave you both the time to cook and chat freely.
"but, i woke up anyway." you teased her and nudged her as she stirred the pot and you chopped the onions.
"what are we having today?" you asked as you peered inside the bowl.
"just soup again with deer meat." she told you and you nodded, giggling.
"watery soup because we're lacking ingredients." you told her with a groan as you pour the onions in the soup.
"please, carol, remind me when i go on runs to pick up spices." you added.
"alright, young lady." she teased and you smiled, you both had been close ever since lori died.
she had been the mother figure, but not romantically to rick, she also stood as a mother to rick, if that was possible.
"who caught the deer? daryl again?" you asked as you frowned at the chopped meat.
"who else? he's our only hunter." she smiled at you, knowing that you utterly despised the man.
"okay, maybe i won't eat." you joked with a huff as you crossed your arms.
"then don'." someone told you from behind making you gasp in shock.
"daryl! don't sneak up on people like that!" you told him as you looked at him with disapproval.
"if ye' don't like m' deers, don't eat!" he sneered at you making you let out a small smile.
"okay, i won't." you told him and leaned in to carol, to gossip with her. daryl is in a fair distance.
you took over stirring and whispered something to her, "i'm fucking missing one again."
you groaned as you frowned, it was very hard to loose a pair of panties.
it was very hard to find one on runs and you will suddenly loose some?
"if one of the women are stealing them, it's very unhygienic." you shook your head.
"it would disappear only to appear two days or a day after, you'll get it back." she reassured you.
"what the fuck are they doing with my knickers?" you told aloud making daryl look at you.
you rolled your eyes at him and stared into the pot, it was boiling and the delicious smell of it was making you hungry.
your pride was high so you went right back into your cell block once the woodbury people came out into the courtyard.
it hadn't only been half an hour before daryl came knocking at your cell.
"ye' can eat, was jus' jokin'." he told you in a quiet voice, you smiled.
"okay!" you stood up from your bed and placed your book to the side.
you were never the first to apologize, if you knew you weren't in the biggest wrong.
"carol told you to apologize?" you smiled as you stood in front of him, he was a lot taller than you.
"nah." he responded and you nodded, smiling. you stepped out of the cell, brushing past him.
"i'll follow ye' back, 'm jus' gon' do somethin'." he told you with a nod.
you gave him a thumbs up before going down the stairs and out the cell block.
daryl waited for a few minutes before going into your cell, he went to your basket full of clothes.
he quickly placed the panty, that you were missing, back into the basket. he grabbed another one and stuffed it into his pocket.
he wasn't usually like this but you made him crazy, with you scent and the way you acted around him.
you despised him sometimes, yet you could tolerate him enough to flirt with him.
he hated how you made him feel, he wanted to stop what crazy shit he was even doing.
but the thing is, he can't, he's in too deep in the situation. he's fucking addicted to your natural smell.
he fucked your underwear every night, imagining that it was you. he absolutely loved those moments.
call him a creep and whatsoever but he's obsessed with you. so fucking obsessed.
he loved the smell and heat in the shower when he got in right after you finished bathing.
he loved your hair, the way it flows smoothly whenever you ran your fingers in them when frustrated.
don't get him started in your smile, he can fucking kill an entire herd if that means he gets to see you smile.
he loved your skin, your soft milky skin and how they easily turn red when being gripped to tight.
he wondered if he gripped your wrists to tight when he was fucking deep balls into you, would they leave a fucking bruise? he loved that idea, meaning everyone would see that someone fucked you that night.
he loved your body, every curve, every form of you from head to toe.
he went crazy on every teenagers from woodbury who even tried to go near you.
he did it in private, just to not have him scare you off. he almost killed for you, he would do anything just to protect you.
it was when you were on the road, right after the farm fell. you, maggie, glenn and daryl encountered a group of men when you were on the run for the group.
the men was obviously stuffed full, having the weapons and foods that you all were desperately trying to find.
they were obviously a whole lot bigger, not starved during the months that the whole apocalypse started.
glenn and daryl tried to talk to the men, in hopes of escaping the men.
they failed and two of them went to beat up glenn and daryl, making you pull out a gun.
it was a very ugly fight, glenn received a broken nose and multiple bruises in the face and stomach.
daryl was worse, he tried to punch back just to get to you, but to no avail it only made things worse.
that left two other men that was onto you and maggie, you fucking tried to fight him off, he was too big.
he tried to rape the both of you, and that made daryl see red, he was on full adrenaline that he fucking killed the four men single-handedly.
it ended with glenn almost passed out cold, you and maggie shaken up and lastly daryl who was still gritting his teeth in anger.
he fucking swore to himself not to let any other dirty men touch you for their own pleasure.
"daryl!" he was cut-off in his trance by a small voice calling out to him.
he stood up immediately from his crouched position and turned to face the door.
carl stood there with a smile on his face as he nodded at daryl.
"what are you doing here? anyways where is she?" carl asked, looking for you as he inspected the room-cell.
"out in the courtyard... ye' eat already?" daryl asked the little boy as he stepped out from your cell, closing the gate behind him.
"no, i was just going to call her so we could eat together." carl said in a small voice, he wanted to spend more time with you, he felt as if everything that's been happening has been pulling you away from him.
"let's go 'ere together." he put a hand on the little boy's shoulder, giving him a thin smile.
"she's probably eatin' with andrea and carol." he said referring to the older women you hung out with.
"yeah, i'll run so i can see sophia." carl told daryl as the little boy beamed.
"ya..." daryl nodded at carl, and the latter took it as a sign to ran out to the court yard.
when he arrived at the courtyard it was busy with people and their own conversations.
he looked for you and didn't see you, he was worried that maybe you were off with some boys.
he would definitely fucking beat the shit out of the boy who ever tried to take you from him.
his thoughts were proven wrong when a small bunch of people were by gate.
he immediately spotted your hair that made him crazy but not as much as you made him crazy.
he walked towards you with a frown, his frown falling and replaced with a small smile as he heard you laugh.
michonne was there, looking proud and almost eye-teary. you hugged her as you also sobbed with joy.
he was confused why but his smile also grew bigger once he saw what was inside the box that michonne brought back.
the head of the governor was sitting there, eyes in shock and lifeless.
they had spent months hunting for the governor and now they found him, they can finally breath in peace.
the governor looked dirty, his beard and moustache was grown, wildly. like he doesn't have a place to stay and clean himself up.
"we're free, daryl." you whispered to him and you also hugged him, cheeks stained in tears.
he pulled away and wiped your tears away, just like he's always wanted to do.
he looked behind michonne to find a small group of people. they looked relieved to see a sanctuary ahead of them.
"oh, this is the family i found with philip. they didn't know who he truly was, so i explained it all." michonne pointed to the three people standing at the corner.
you gave them a slight wave as you smiled at the little girl, "this is tara, lilly and her daughter, meghan." michonne added.
they smiled awkwardly and gave a little wave back, glancing at daryl, rick, michonne, carol and you.
"and this is eugene, he pretended to be a scientist who knows the cure to all but all is well, rosita, and abraham." michonne pointed to the other three standing at a fair distance from tara's family.
"hi!" you gave rosita, eugene and abraham a small smile and a wave.
you walked to stand beside your dad, wrapping your hand around his arms as he inspected the strangers.
"you sure they could be trusted?" rick looked at michonne, she nodded and glanced back at the six.
"alright." rick said with a smile at michonne, he trusted her and would listen to every thing she said.
"welcome to the group!" you greeted them cheerily, you went near meghan and took her small hands into yours.
"i'll take her to meet the kids." you told lilly and she nodded, she can't believe that there's a sanctuary for them to live in, for her daughter and sister to live in peacefully.
you walked with meghan, hand in hand as you took her to the field where the kids played.
"join them, okay? if anyone bullies you, tell me. i'll kick their ass." you smiled at the young girl.
you instantly warmed up to her innocent eyes and warm heart, listening to whatever she was told.
you turned around and jumped back, looking at daryl in shock as you held your hand to your chest to calm your breathing.
"you scared me, dixon!" you told him with a shark glare as you walked past him.
"ye' makin' threats to lil' kids now?" he joke half heartedly, you giggled.
"i like her, she's sweet." you told him with a small sigh as you walked side by side with him.
"wha' s'wrong?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows as he scanned your face.
"nothing, i just really wanted a baby before all this. they're cute and really sweet." you ranted as you puffed your cheeks.
"ye? baby?" he asked like he couldn't believe it, you pouted at him and rolled your eyes.
"sorry, was kiddin'." he told you with a small smile, you only frowned in response.
"yes... but it's hard, and i don't think i'm ready again as i was before. there's an apocalypse now and there's hardly anyone my age around here, and if there is... t—they just avoid me like plague!" you said with an unreadable emotion.
"who told ye' anything about boys yer' age?" he asked as he walked with you into the cell block.
"i don't get it..." you told him as you walked up the stairs and stopping right outside your cell.
you walked inside and he followed in suit, you smiled and gestured for him to sit on the bed.
"maybe ye' can try wit' someone younger or older." he said with a grunt.
"what are you suggesting, dixon?!" you teased him as you stopped pacing.
you wiggled your eyebrows at him when he started stuttering and turn a bit red.
"nothin' forget it." he told you and he stood up but you immediately were in front of him and held his shoulders to get him back to sitting.
"i was just teasing you, daryl. but, no kidding, i really should try with someone older?" you asked with pure innocence that daryl couldn't face.
"y—ya..." he stuttered and scratched the back of his neck as he looked at his lap.
"well, there's johnny, he's five years older." you told him as you sat beside him.
"nah... he's been wit' almost everyone 'ere." he told you as he shook his head.
"okay... i really need to take a bath, do you mind if we talk later?" you asked him as you stood up from the bed.
he shook his head and also stood up, "also got somethin' else t'do."
"okay, bye!" you waved at him and ushered him out of your cell.
you groaned and went to your clean basket, in search of clothes to wear in the sunny day.
you picked out your clothes and took a glance at the dirty pile.
your underwear, was already there. you picked it up carefully and examined it.
you dropped it with a groan, you had to get used to someone stealing your panties just to bring them back.
but it's creepy as fuck and totally unhygienic if they're wearing it or what ever.
you stood up from your crouched position, your towel and clothes in hand.
you walked out of your cell and closed it behind you, it was quiet inside as almost all of the people living in the cell block was outside.
it was a good time to shower, considering there's a population of a hundred in the prison.
it really was hard to shower with that many people, there were many showers but it looks like the time people wants to shower is whenever you wanted to.
you entered the room where a dozen of shower was, you and your original group shared this shower.
you didn't have to worry about peeping tom's or creepy men spying you.
you placed the towel on the hanging bar and your clothes on the table outside.
you stepped in, undressing yourself as you placed your dirty clothes on another rack.
the fucking cold water was refreshing, you really needed it, considering that it was a hot day in the prison.
you showered very quickly so your group can still have cold water, you felt bad because they've been spending all day in the sun ever since summer.
you pulled on your towel and wrapped it around your body, stepping out on the shower.
you went to the table and grabbed your clothes, going back inside the shower to change.
the clothes you wore were just a jeans short and a camisole, perfect wear for a sunny day.
besides you will be working on the fence today, so you still had to shower later.
work on the fence was exhausting, imagine that you will be standing outside for a few hours just killing walkers with the sun glaring down at you.
but it's worth it because by the end of the day there weren't walkers anymore by the fence.
and when you wake up the next morning there is walkers, and you kill them again.
that was your routine but sometimes you're on babysitting duty with beth, a girl just your age.
she was the sister of maggie, innocent just like you, just more shy and she's not as open-mouthed as you.
you stepped out of the shower again, dressed in clean clothes. you went to the rack that you found on a run a month ago and placed your towel there along with a few others.
an old lady was kind enough to stitch your name on the towel so it doesn't get mixed with the others.
it was a very sweet thing to do, she also was one of the elders you absolutely adore.
you went back to your cell and brushed your hair, it has grown longly, it wasn't the same mid-hair length when the apocalypse started.
instead it reached just above your butt, you smiled as you braided your hair and put little clips on it.
you shuffled on your make-shift drawer and looked for the sunscreen that thankfully michonne found on a run a week ago.
she found a full box of sunscreen and gave it to those who were on fence duty which was twenty people or so.
you don't get bored as much in fence duty when you had karen to gossip with.
she's always telling you how romantic tyreese is, how their dates always end with a sweet kiss.
it makes your heart flutter that your friend found love amidst all this.
you applied sunscreen on your exposed skin, you even went about thinking that you should just wear long-sleeves and pants.
karen would kill you, ranting about how you might faint again like you did once on fence duty.
it worried the hell out of everyone and you were on cooking and babysitting duty for a month after that.
you kind of don't want that to happen so you decided against it.
you placed the sunscreen back on your drawer and went out the cell, after slipping on your cowboy boots.
you walked past cell's when you heard grunts and moans in a particular cell you know too well.
you walked near it with cautious step, "daryl?" you asked him, you can't see anything because of the white sheet that covered the gate.
you opened the cell and found daryl flustered, "you okay, old man? are you having back pain?"
asking him was kind of you, considering you were starting to warm up to him.
"i can massage you if you want, i'll just skip fence duty." you offered to him as you walked by his bed.
your brows were furrowed in worry, he felt bad for making you worry when he was just jerking himself onto your underwear, smelling it like a creep.
"i do it all the time with dad, when he's having back problems." you explained as you sat beside him.
this was one of the reasons he fell for you, your kindness and no hesitation to help.
he didn't know why he started liking you when you all found the prison.
he hated himself at first, for falling for you who's almost half his age and you're most importantly, the daughter of a man he considered his best friend.
he felt sick but he can't do anything with it, his feelings for you grew deeper especially when the woodbury people arrived.
he didn't know what to tell rick. “hey man, i like your daughter.” was that what he's supposed to say?
"nah... 'm fine. ye' should go before yer' late f'fence duty." he told you.
you shrugged but nodded, "okay..." you st oppd up from his bed.
"if you feel sick, tell me." you smiled at him and went out of his cell, continuing your walk down the stairs.
it took a good minute before you were out of the cell block, you walked in the hallways before you managed to exit the prison.
"hi, karen..." you waved at the said woman and walked to approach her.
you also greeted tyreese who kissed his girlfriend good bye and waved back at you.
"that was a sweet kiss, i'm jealous." you teased her and then pouted, you wanted to experience loving someone.
beth have zack and she's your age, carl have sophia and they're younger than you! how was it fair?
you even asked rick if he would allow you to have a boyfriend over dinner the other night.
the rest of the group laughed while carol, michonne and andrea teased you.
you didn't notice how daryl's mood was down the whole night after that.
he wanted you to notice him, he tried to argue with you every chance he got just to have you notice him.
"you'll find them someday." karen knew what you were thinking and you gave her a small nod.
she handed you a sharp spear and you both walked to the fence where the other's are working now.
you worked for hours along side karen and by the time you were done, the sun was almost setting.
it made every sweat worth it because there's not a single walker in sight.
it was really a good setting, with the council and how they handled every thing.
you all were working to make the prison a home, the crops had grown and are ready to harvest every three weeks.
it was all because of the fertilizers you all try to find every run, and the pigs and chicken had more babies.
it was a good life and it would stay like that forever. you said goodbye to karen and placed the spear on the basket just outside the prison doors.
you went to your cell and picked out a set of sleepwear for a quick shower before dinner.
"hey, daryl... you going to shower too?" you asked when you met him down the stairs.
it's been a weird day, you've been seeing more of him ever since today.
you felt like you've seen him a lot more today that you ever did before the prison.
"mhm." was all he responded, you nodded and walked with him towards the bathroom.
"daryl, have you been talking to dad?" you asked him as you synced your footsteps with his.
"ya, why?" he asked as he glanced at your face, he quickly looked away.
"has he been doing better? maybe he wants to step-up again soon, the governor's gone now." you said lowly.
"he's yer' dad. why're ye' askin' me?" he groaned as he tried to not respond.
"we've all been busy, i don't even have time for them anymore." you said sadly, referring to your dad, carl, and judith.
"he's been better, improvin' since lori." he nodded, his southern accent thick.
"do you miss the people we've lost? like jacqui, mom, jim, and dale?" you asked him.
he shook his head, "they were never important t'me." he shrugged and you nodded.
"you must felt absolutely relieved when you found out merle's alive." you nudged him with your elbow.
you were happy for him that he's doing good with his brother, who was a jerk at first.
merle was starting to adjust to the prison and found a woman he love, he's in the council along with a few others.
"what about shane, ye' miss him?" daryl teased you, nodding to your words about merle.
"ew, no! he's a fucker." you groaned in disgust as you imagined the things he did to your family.
"did a number on ye' didn't he?" daryl smirked and you can feel your cheeks heat up just by his smirk.
"but i can't say that he shouldn't have done the things he did, 'cause jude wouldn't be here." you smiled sadly.
"ye' little ass-kicker is growin' fast." he shook his head with a smile.
"i heard that maggie is pregnant." you beamed at daryl, your eyes glinting with happiness at a new baby in the prison.
"ye', glenn told me earlier." daryl nodded, also happy for the couple since the farm.
you both stopped at the entrance of the bathroom, the sound of water droplets is the only thing that could be heard.
you looked at him as you bit your lip, analyzing his brows, his lashes, eye color, and his lips.
you gulped when he leaned in closer, you couldn't deny that sometimes there's that attraction for him deep down.
the attraction you kept hidden down in fear. he was a very closed off man, you were just scared of rejection.
how can you resist him? now that he's leaning in to place his lips onto yours.
you also can't deny that he's a very attractive man, with a shoulder that could make you swoon, and his arms that you wished to hold.
he has tattoos and you found them pretty and meaningful, he had a tattoo on his collar bone.
you didn't know what it meant but it's just a letter, a simple letter placed there.
it was an x.
you closed your eyes when you felt his lips touch yours gently, as if they were just tasting.
he tasted like cigarettes and booze. you can feel yourself getting drunk on his mouth.
you let out a small whimper when he squeezed your ass, he pulled away and took of his shirt.
he placed it on the laundry basket and kissed you again. you took a step back and he pulled the curtains out of the way to enter the bathroom.
"we shouldn't be doing this." you told him, pulling away as you shrugged of your own shirt.
"ya." he agreed and started attacking your neck, making you release small moans.
the clothes and towels you both had were left scattered on the table when you have thrown it.
he gently guided you, taking a step forward as you took a step back.
he guided you to the nearest room to shower, pressing your back against the wall.
he fumbled with your bra as you grabbed onto his hair, keeping your moans at bay.
you helped him slip it off, and he immediately attacked your breasts with kisses.
he turned on the shower and it made you smile at him as you got wet by the water.
you brushed your fingers through his hair, fixing it and moving it out of his face.
placing your hands on his neck, you leaned in and kissed him once again.
you can feel his erection on your stomach and that made you groan.
he held you by the waist and leaned down to meet your kisses as he was taller and bigger than you.
you slid off your panties slowly and you can feel the wetness on your thighs, not by the water but because of him.
he groaned as he rubbed your clit when his hands found it's way there.
you burried your face on his shoulder as you stopped yourself from moaning.
you heard the water stop running on the other stall and a few shuffle here and there.
and finally the moment you were waiting for, the shuffle of the curtains, indicating the person has left.
he lined the tip of his cock onto your entrance and you gripped his shoulders, you weren't sure if it would fit.
he pushed in with one deep thrust making you cry out in pain, you didn't expect him to be that rough.
he started thrusting in and out as you bit your lip you can taste the metallic taste in your tongue.
you moaned, as your hips met his desperately. all the pain was gone now and was replaced by bliss and pleasure.
"s'fuckin' tight, princess." he went deeper and faster with each thrust making you moan loudly.
you were scared to get caught but you couldn't stop the sinful moans that were leaving your mouth.
everyone was probably at dinner already.
you would be disgusted when someone told you that you'd be having sex with your dad's best friend a year ago.
it was so sinful, he was much older and also your dad's best friend, you want to stop but he felt so fucking good.
"daryl, mhm..." you moaned as he kept his thrusting, you can feel the tingling on your lower stomach.
a sense of sign that you were about to cum, it was quick but you can't help yourself.
he felt so good and it was too long ago that you've done this and felt pleasure, the only good thing was that this was better.
"i—i'm about to... c—cum." you moaned as you met his lips for a passionate kiss.
"cum 'round daddy's cock, baby." he groaned into your ear once you pulled away from the kiss.
he can feel your velvety walls clench around him, if he kept going on like this he would also cum.
"yer' so warm." he praised you making you whine, you were so turned on by the sound of your skin slapping together.
"i—I'm cumming." you informed him as you closed your eyes in pleasure.
stopping your hips from meeting his as you came. you moaned from the high feeling.
he kept thrusting into you with force, into your wet, tight and sensitive cunt.
"i'm gonna cum inside you." he looked into your eyes with a dark look.
you shook your head, "i—i'm not on birth control..." you whined as you shook from another orgasm.
"don't care." he shut you up by kissing you with much domination and force, he bit your lip and you pulled away.
"daryl... i—i'm not ready." you whimpered as you pushed on his shoulders.
he ignored you, "i'm gonna fill you up with my babies." he said once again, ignoring your total protests.
"you'd look so pretty carrying my babies." he kissed your jaw and sucked on your sweet spot.
you felt his cock twitch before he finished up inside you, you moaned.
"y-you came inside me!" you looked at him with anger as you unlatch yourself from him.
your legs giving out from intense orgasm, he held you to support you up.
"i love ye', we can have a happy family, you'll have a baby like you've always wanted." he assured you.
you shook your head as you wiped your tears, "w-what would dad say." you whisper to him as you pout.
"i'll worry about him, just be a good girl for me." he grabbed the shampoo as he put some on your hair, washing it for you.
"ye' feel good, so fuckin' good. better than yer' panties." he said with a smirk
you gasped and looked at him, there were a million questions running around your head.
"you're the one who's been stealing them?!" you asked in anger and embarrassment.
"hm, ye' smell so fuckin' good, baby." he praised you, making your cheeks hot again.
"that's embarrassing." you said in a small voice, looking away from him.
"i'll take care of ye' and in just a few months you'll have a baby bump." he kissed you once again.
you shivered and couldn't help but look at your stomach, caressing it.
you can feel his warm cum inside you, it was probably getting to work now.
it was too late for you to take pills, you felt like crying. you weren't ready for a baby, you were before, but you weren't sure now.
he promised to take care of you, he should. what if your dad gets angry if you tell him?
you can't bear the thought of your dad or carl ever being mad at you.
it would ruin you and you can't even think about the people at the prison, the people you love hating you because of your relationship with daryl.
"ye'll look good with m'babies, trust m'." daryl whispered to you, sucking on your neck.
what have you gotten yourself into?

Ever since you had found yourself in the prison after being saved from Woodbury, your eyes have always been finding themselves on Rick Grimes. You always admired him from afar as he was always busy with something-- farming with his son, balancing his daughter on his hip, talking with his friends, etc.
The community wasn’t as visually appealing and vibrant as before in Woodbury, but the difference was noticeable with how friendly everyone truly was. Before, it was a taste of suburban life with the amount of gossip and cliques, but now it wasn’t foreign for everyone to sit at the picnic benches and eat the dinner Carol served. Tonight you sat with Tyreese and his sister, Sasha, since they had become good friends of yours. With just your luck, a few others came to join, including Rick.
You let the others lead the conversation, falling into a timid position with her gaze on your bowl and a flutter in your heart. But as you listened to the active conversation, your eyes wandered over to Rick. You admired his dark brown hair that fell into waves down past his ears, his scruff that fell below his cheekbone and framed his jawline, and his eyes that matched the sky on a clear, sunny day. He picks at his plate as he listens from his spot down and across the table, his eyes flickering due to the itching feeling he felt of being watched.
His baby blue eyes caught your observations, meeting yours and making your breath stop and heart race. Your eyes widen and you pretend that your bowl is of much more interest, but his eyes stay on you for a few more seconds. Not long after, you excused yourself and your half-eaten bowl, deciding to call it a night before anyone noticed your and Rick’s interaction or how your cheeks burned afterward.
After dinner, you went up to one of the empty watch towers. It was always empty and had become one of your favorite spots for peace and quiet. You always left a few blankets up here for the nights you wanted to sleep looking at the stars, and tonight you a few of them out with the same intentions. You sighed while looking up at the dark sky, trying to wash away any nerves you felt during the dinner, but baby blue eyes always seemed to pop back into your memory.
Suddenly, there was the sound of the door creaking open and boots clicking against the cold concrete floor. You turned, seeing the man that consumed your thoughts. You swallowed the lump in your throat, giving him a soft smile. “Hi.”
He gives a small grin back, slowly walking towards you with his hands in the pockets of his jacket. “Hey. I, uh… I always see you up here. I was wonderin’ if you wouldn’t mind some company.”
“I don’t mind.” You take a step over, letting him stand beside you. He mimics your position, leaning forward and resting his forearms against the flat surface of the open window. A silence falls over you two, only the sounds of trees brustling in the distance, faint chatter of people still having dinner, and the faint groans of walkers that you push aside internally.
“If you don’t mind me askin’,” He slowly starts, interrupting the serene silence with his deep Southern drawl, “Why were you starin’ at me durin’ dinner?”
You tense up, hesitating. You can’t seem to look at him, but a wave of confidence washes over you as you answer with a soft voice, “Well… I guess… because I like you.”
He seems just as caught off guard as you were before, and you can feel his gaze turn to you and trace along your profile. He clicks his tongue, shaking his head as his gaze falls to his forearms that lean against the open window. “I dunno. Ain’t you a bit… young for me?”
“I don’t think so.” You softly respond, turning to face him and watching his reaction with a gentle gaze. A part of you was hoping he wouldn’t have brought it up-- you weren’t dumb, you knew you were barely 20 while he was in his 40s. “Does it matter?”
He raised an eyebrow, a scoff passing his lips like an airy laugh, “Well, of course, it matters. You’re not mature enough. What would people say about me with a girl that’s young enough to be with my daughter? How would they know you’re the one who made the first move if they see me walking around with a girl half my age?” “Don’t say that. I’m not a baby. I’m an adult. I’m mature.” Your brows furrow, your hands moving to toy with the hem of your shirt, “And it doesn’t matter what they think. People talk and gossip, but if they’re honest, they’ll ask for the truth.”
He stares into your eyes, a sigh laced with frustration huffing from his nose. “Look. This ain’t right. It ain’t normal. And I can’t be seen as one of those old men who chase after girls like you.”
Your lips press together as his words echo in your mind. Rick can’t tear his eyes away from yours, especially as your sadness was evident in the way they twinkled with the moonlight. “You… you really don’t see anything with me?”
His frown deepens, shaking his head as his gaze turns back to his hands. “No. Not like that. Look, I’m not gonna lie-- sometimes, I think you’re attractive. But… it’s just… I’m so much older than you. How could this ever work out?”
You think, your eyes flickering back out towards the tree-covered horizon as you pull your bottom lip between your teeth. When you do finally speak, you turn your gaze back towards him with your voice soft, barely above a whisper, “If you can’t give in and see anything with me, then just give in one night. That’s all I’m asking for.”
He hesitates, his eyes slowly wandering back to you and down to your lips. You were persistent, that was for sure. "What if I agree to it? What then? Where would this one night lead to?
“I don’t know.” You softly answer, your brows furrowed slightly. “If you still don’t want anything with me after, I’ll leave you alone. Please, just… give me one chance.”
He sighs, running a hand through his dark hair. The offer was tempting, he could admit that, especially as he searched for gaze for any sign of malice behind your offer. Instead, he got lost in your beauty, reminding himself of every reason he fell for you in the first place. “Alright. You get your one night. That’s it. Deal?”
You only nod in response, your words caught in your throat as your confidence from before disappears at his agreement. Rick suddenly takes a step closer, pulling you into his arms. Your lips parted in surprise as you softly gasped, your hands pressed against his chest. “If we’re doing this, it has to be special. That’s all I’m saying. It can’t be some ordinary fling. I ain’t your average 40-year-old dad, you know me. I’ll make sure you never forget me.”
His hand travels down to your hip, his hand slipping under the hem of your shirt so his fingers lightly brush against your skin. His voice is low, a smirk pulling the corner of his lips as he continues, “How does that sound, sweetheart? A night to remember?”
You nod again, your eyes flickering back and forth from his eyes to his lips. You whisper, “Please…” Rick leans in, closing the gap between you two. As your lips finally connected, he couldn’t help but admit to himself how much he enjoyed it. Your soft lips, your gentle touch, the way you leaned into him; he felt something stirring within him, an itching feeling he couldn’t give you up after one night.
You felt yourself melt into the kiss, his lips against yours being just as you had imagined it so many times before. His hands wander to the curve of your waist, his palms against your skin as the fabric bunches up at his wrists. Just as you feel yourself beginning to get lost in the touch of his lips and hands, his mouth slowly trailed down to your jawline, placing warm kisses down to your neck. His breath is hot against your skin, each kiss sending a shiver down your spine.
You can’t stop yourself from letting out a soft, airy moan, your brows furrowing as you grip his biceps. His hand moves to your back, the other moving to the back of your thighs. He helps you down so you lie on your back atop the blankets you had left before, a small shiver running down your spine as the blankets were cold against the concrete floor. He brushes his fingers along your arms to feel the goosebumps that formed, moving so he knelt between your legs.
“Relax, darlin’. Let me take care of you.” He lowly spoke, his blue eyes twinkling with the moonlight that peeked in through the window. He helps you slide your boots off, then your jeans. He groans at the sight of just the thin fabric covering your center, his hands slowly sliding up from your calf to your knee. He kneels before you, slowly spreading your legs apart with his large hands on your kneecaps.
You whimper as the cold air nips at your exposed skin, his hands warm against your legs. He leans down, placing soft kisses on the inside of both your knees before slowly trailing them down your thighs, his stubble brushing against your soft skin. He kissed your mound through your panties, getting a small taste of your wetness and making you softly moan. Your hand moved to rest in his dark hair as he made out with your pussy, sending vibrations as he groaned into the thin cloth separating his mouth and your folds.
His hands crept up as he continued, sliding under the hem on either side of your hips to slowly work the white fabric down your legs. He groaned lowly at the sight of your wet pussy, discarding your panties haphazardly as he leaned in to kiss along the crevices of your thighs. You whimpered in response, your legs tightening slightly as he purposefully avoided your aching cunt. It quickly turned into a loud moan and a tug at his roots, however, as he finally leaned in, tracing a line with his tongue up your folds.
He began to suck on your clit, his nose pressing against your abdomen as he kneaded his fingers into your soft thighs to keep them spread. His blue eyes kept their burning gaze on yours, watching and enjoying every reaction you gave. You had had boyfriends in the past, a few in college who showed you a good time-- but God, they hardly were boys compared to the man between your legs.
You whined, covering your mouth with your hand as he wrapped his arms around your legs, keeping them spread and preventing any writhing. You were slowly reaching your orgasm, your back arching and your chest rising and falling in staccatos with your shallow breathing as the muscles in your thighs tensed under your grasp. Just as you feel the band snap within your abdomen and your head falls back against the blankets as you moan, lewd slurping noises fill the room as Rick devoured like a man starved.
You panted, catching your breath as you came down from your high, as you felt Rick begin to kiss up your stomach. He pushed up your shirt, helping you slip it off over your head. You sat up, your hands working on undoing the buttons on his shirt from the bottom up. Your hands brushed against his chest as you did, and as he pushed the beige fabric off his shoulders, you sighed at the sight. He had soft muscles, the fair skin covered in a bit of hair, especially his upper chest.
But the one thing that pulled your attention away from his body or looking up to admire his face again was the strain you saw in his dark jeans. Your hands moved to undo his belt, the clinking sound adding to the tension and excitement between the two of you. With your bottom lip between your teeth, you undid his button and zipper, helping him push his pants and boxers off, exposing him to you. You take him in your hand and stroke, making him groan as he felt heavy and warm in your hand. Just as you move down to take him into your mouth, his hand moves to cup the side of your face.
“No, no, can’t wait any longer, darlin’.” He grunts, leading you again so you lie on your back. Now he laid atop you, allowing him to connect your lips again. You moved to unclip your bra, slipping it off and tossing it somewhere in the room. Now, as you wrapped your arms around his neck to kiss him back with just as much fervor, you whimpered as you felt your sensitive buds press against his chest. He couldn’t help but move his hips as you made out, pushing his cock between your folds and against your clit.
You whined against his lips, tugging lightly on the dark hairs at the nape of his neck, “Please, Rick, stop teasing…”
He quickly gave in, placing one kiss on your cheek before leaning onto his elbow, using his free hand to adjust himself so he pressed against your entrance. He slowly pushed in, watching your reaction. You whimpered and softly moaned, grabbing onto his back as you adjusted to the feeling of him inside you. Your soft noises mixed with his panting, echoing in the empty watchtower as he slowly began to move his hips back.
He groaned as he found a slow rhythm, his hands moving to the back of your knees to hold your legs spread apart. He felt your nails scratch along his biceps, your head thrown back to expose your neck to him. Taking advantage of that, he leaned in, placing warm kisses and small bites along your neck. You both were intoxicated by the feeling of one another, not caring about a single thing other than being together and moving in a slow rhythm.
As you felt your orgasm begin to approach again, your whimpers turned into moans as you clung to Rick. He grunted at the feeling of your walls tightening around him, one of his hands moving so his thumb rubbed against your clit. You gasped and moaned at the added stimulation, quickly becoming undone around Rick. As you moaned and clawed at his back, your back arching off the blankets as the band in your abdomen snapped again.
“Fuck, darlin’,” Rick moaned, watching as you came under him. Just the sight alone pushed him closer to his orgasm, making him pick up the pace of his hips slightly as he chased the feeling. The quickening pace mixed with the feeling of your passing orgasm made you whimper, overstimulation making you feel fuzzy around Rick’s cock moving in and out of your passage.
He grunted as he quickly pulled himself out, finishing on your abdomen. He panted, his blue eyes stuck on the image before him-- you lying in a dazed, angelic state. He grabbed one of the unused blankets, wiping your abdomen before tossing it away. He sighed, moving so he lay down beside you on his back.
As you both softly panted, staring up at the plain gray ceiling of the watchtower. It was silent again, save for the sound of nature and gravel underfoot in the distance. You turned over, looking into his blue eyes again, whispering, “Stay the night?” He nodded, giving a small smile while not moving as you grabbed a blanket, pulling over you two. He pulled you into his side, letting you tuck your head against his chest. Just as you lay beside him, soft and warm, he knew he couldn’t give you up after one night.

friendly spirit (g.i.t.w, ch.1)
carl grimes x fem!reader
warning: mentions of death.
masterlist here!
other chapters here!
Carl never lost hope. Even after the prison, terminus and the church. He knew there was something for the group out there. He was probably the most hopeful out of everyone. He always wanted to keep going, he motivated everyone. It’s definitely something he’d gotten from his dad. Alexandria was exactly what he’d hoped for. At least from what he’d heard from Aaron.
Staying in a barn that smelt like horse shit was something he’d unfortunately considered before Aaron had arrived. That morning, seeing Aaron arrive through the barn doors almost made him smile. Between arguing with his dad that Alexandria was a good fit for the group and trying to back Michonne up on the same argument, he didn’t get much sleep. The entire car ride there, Rick had a plan.
He would discuss it with them over and over, going over every possibility. That’s why, when he and the others got out of the vehicles and he saw you, he thought he was imagining it. He saw you, a girl who’d climbed a tree from what it seemed like. Eugene walked past him and when the large black mullet was out of his face, you were gone. Maybe you were apart of Alexandria.
He heard children laughing and people talking. He knew this was the right place. For him, and for Judith. He sort of knew that he was the reason they needed a settlement at all. Maybe the rest of them would’ve given up at this point. Maggie had lost Beth, Sasha lost Tyreese, Daryl lost Merle ages ago…but they still stuck around. He thinks it’s because they had a sliver of hope. Hope because him and Judith are still alive.
Seeing the houses in the community sort of healed parts of his childhood. They weren’t the wealthiest of families, he imagined living in houses as big as Alexandria’s for years. He has memories, almost faded of the three of them driving through the neighborhood where all the wealthy people lived, imagining themselves there in the future. Once Rick retired of course.
It felt somewhat ironic to him, the fact that the only chance they were ever given to live in a nice and luxurious house was when the world was on its last legs. He thought a lot. Maybe too much, even in that moment where Aaron was explaining how one of the houses was better than the other, he thought about you. He wondered if you were just his imagination, or maybe you were a threat. He didn’t want to alarm anyone. But he was curious.
He returned to the conversation to hear something about curb appeal. Aaron was about to leave, he’d motioned for the both of them to check the house out but Carl stayed back. He had to talk to Aaron, to make sure he wasn’t insanely tired and you actually did exist.
“Wait— Aaron. Before you go, I just…I saw something earlier. Well someone. I was just wondering if she was apart of the community.” He explained, He described your attributes, the color of your skin and the length of your hair and what you were wearing. He felt like you were too dirty to live here however. “Oh her? Don’t worry, she just lives in the outskirts of Alexandria.” Aaron replies. Carl’s eyebrows knot together in confusion. “And you didn’t tell us? What if she’s a threat?”
Aaron sort of chuckles and it catches Carl off guard. “We call her the ghost in the woods. We’ve had people to go out and look for her…whenever they spot her she disappears quite quick but…we can’t quite seem to catch her.” He explains. Carl still didn’t understand. “She’s not a threat, I promise. Think of her as uhh… a friendly spirit.”
He thinks about that for a moment, Aaron puts his hand on Carl’s shoulder, giving him a content smile before patting it and turning away. He stewed on the idea of you, he seriously doesn’t understand. Why wouldn’t you want to join Alexandria, and why would you choose to live around it? He wanted to see you again. To meet you. He didn’t believe you were some…fairy tale. He needed to see you.
And he did. Right as Aaron walked away, in the distance he could spot you once again in a tree, just watching him. “Aaron?” He calls out, looking over to him for his attention. Once he gets it, he turns to point you out but you’re not there. Shit, now he looks stupid. “I just want to say thank you.” He says this as a cover up, but it was still mostly the truth. “Of course.” Aaron nods.
He finally tears his eyes away from the tree and catches up with his dad. He knew he had to see you, to meet you. That’d be his mission the next couple of days.
─── ⋆⋅ ꒰ა 𐚁 ໒꒱ ⋅⋆ ───
Meanwhile you’d just descended the tree. You’d walk off your small campsite which was almost never permanent. The woods surrounding Alexandria was large. Perfect for you. You hated being confined to just one area. Especially because you hate to be attached to things.
The first rule to the apocalypse is to not get attached. You found that out the hard way. Many times. Your first home, your dad, your sister. You lost everything. All you had was their belongings. Your sister’s bracelet, your dad’s bag, and his rifle. You were in fact attached to their belongings but you knew if they weren’t in your possession, you were most likely dead.
You never intended on interacting with the people of Alexandria, you just liked the security of being outside the walls. You had precaution without technically having it. If it came down to it, you knew where to go. Not to mention sometimes the civilians would leave food for you. At first it felt dehumanizing, like they were leaving food out on the porch for a fucking raccoon.
But it was fine. You were perfectly fine on your own. Sometimes it got lonely..but you’d just occupy your time listening to music with a walkman your dad gifted you before the start or reading books you found in old cabin remains and such. You’d even watch over Alexandria. Except recently things have been especially frustrating. The rifle’s been getting jammed and the batteries in your walkman have been dying quicker than usual. You’d stop listening until you really needed it. You were yearning for something new. Anything.
But soon, a new and large group would arrive. You’d watch over Alexandria often, you knew almost everyone but not one on one. You liked the reputation you upheld there. It was like knowing everyone without having to really know them. No chance to get attached. You now had a new group of personalities to dissect. At least, all the way from the trees surrounding the walls.
You took note of all of them. More importantly, the one who noticed you first.
Carl.
i hope you liked itttt there’s more coming!

Pull Through | Daryl Dixon x Fem!Reader
Summary: While you were injured with no way of knowing if you'd make it or not, Daryl let the group in on his feelings. He shares some of his memories with you, as well as some of his worries.
Genre: Angst.
Era: Prison, post season three, pre season four.
Part of the Shopping Spree, Hangout Dreams AU, but can be read as a standalone. However, some call backs are made to previous parts in this.
Warnings: Mentions of injuries.
Word count: 1.2k.
A/n: I've had this idea in my mind for another part to the Shopping Spree, Hangout Dreams AU for a while now, but I just don't know how to put it into a proper fic. This is more of a filler than an actual fic, but anyways. Hope you like this!
“Ya know, Shane wasn't the first person to tell me tha' I dun' deserve her.”
Rick looked up from his daughter to look at the archer, Daryl holding his own five month old baby girl in his arms. Rick's heart broke at the sight of his found brother's clear distress evident on his face. He was staring off at nothing in particular, thankfully lucid enough to keep Hazel in place on his lap. It was clear that your recent injury had taken its toll on Daryl, and Rick knew that if you didn't wake up from your little coma, Daryl would be a mess; he would be a bigger mess than Rick was when he lost Lori.
“My whole life, even 'fore I grew the balls to confess to her, people were tellin' me tha' I dun' deserve her, tha' I ain't good 'nough fer her, tha' she'll see it herself and leave me.” Daryl stopped for a moment, his attention temporarily being diverted to his daughter who was starting to fuss a little. He whispered sweet nothings to her in the hopes of calming her down, slightly bouncing his leg and successfully coaxing a giggle from her. “But she never left. Even when things weren't all sunshines and rainbows, she stayed. She loved me regardless of all of my flaws, and god knows I have a shit ton of 'em. She ain't ever even thought 'bout walkin' outta the door, even when she could'a, and I wouldn't have blamed her.”
By now, a few people in the group has stopped to listen to the usually quiet archer. Beth, Maggie, Glenn, Sasha, Tyreese, Hershel, Michonne, Carl and Carol stopped to listen to him. It was extremely rare to hear Daryl talk about anything outside of the usual “formal” work talk—who would go on runs, who'd work on the fence, etc.—so everyone was intrigued to hear the brooding huntsman speak his mind.
“She deserved so much better than me, and I know tha', but she didn't think so. She stuck with me through everythin'. Through most'a my childhood, through highschool, through Merle and his bullshit, everythin'.” Daryl inhaled sharply and let out a shaky exhale, trying to keep his emotions under control. “She always managed to make the most outta everythin'. When I saw a glass tha' was half empty, she saw a glass tha' was half full. Ya know, our first apartment we lived in after movin' outta her mom's trailer was so shitty.”
“Yeah?” Rick replied, just letting Daryl know that he was listening.
“Yeah,” Daryl confirmed with a broken chuckle, nodding his head and allowing Hazel to play with his fingers. “Hot water didn't work most'a the time, the oven only worked when it wanted to, the pipes made this weird screeching sound whenever it was cold, and the window to our bedroom was jammed shut. It never opened, so it was hella hot in the summer.” He sighed again and shook his head. “We lived in tha' crappy place fer years 'fore either of us had 'nough money to move into a better place. But she never complained, never threatened to leave me if I didn't find a better apartment, never once blamed me when she had to take a cold shower in the winter. Hell, she even planned on proposin' to me 'cause I was takin' too long.” For added emphasis, he lifted his left hand to show off the silver band he proudly wore every day of his life since that day in your apartment. “I beat her to it, though. She's jus' so amazin'. I love her. I can't lose her. I'll die without her.” And with that last sentence, a sob finally broke out of the archer's chest.
Within seconds, Rick had gently grabbed Hazel from Daryl's arms and passed her over to Carol—who had been on her way to offer her own support to the huntsman—before wrapping his arms around his unofficial brother. Judith had been passed over to Beth during Daryl's speech to be put down for the night, so it made it easier for the former sheriff to jump up and hug Daryl. The archer never once displayed any forms of sadness in front of the group that had to do with crying. His sadness was usually handled through anger, but this wasn't a usual situation. You—the love of his life and the mother of his baby girl—were clinging on for dear life in your weakened state. The attackers that ambushed the group of people who went on the run the previous day made you suffer the worst of the attack. Hershel did his best with the supplies he had, but there was no telling if you'd recover until you woke up, if you ever woke up. And that scared Daryl beyond belief.
Rick didn't hold Daryl long, maybe two minutes at most, until he pulled away. Daryl furiously wiped at the tears in his eyes, mad at himself for displaying such weakness in front of everybody. However, nobody made any sort of comment towards him, their own understanding and worry towards you preventing them from doing so.
“If there's one thing I know,” Rick began, standing up and allowing Daryl to have some space. “It's that you Dixons are fucking stubborn. She'll pull through, I know it.”
Daryl sniffed and nodded, wiping his eyes one more time before getting up and gently taking his daughter from Carol. “She needs to be put to bed soon. She, uh, needs to see her mama 'fore it, though, jus' in case...”
Just in case you didn't make it.
Rick nodded sympathetically, and with that, Daryl walked away from everyone's empathetic gazes. He walked up the stairs and made his way to the makeshift medical cell, expecting to see you asleep, like you had been for over twenty-four hours at that point. However, he was instead met with the sight of you sat up and crouched over to the side, heaving and clutching at your chest, awake and alert, and he didn't hesitate to call for help.
“Hershel!”
Within seconds, the old man had hobbled himself over to the cell and was by your side in an instant. He was helping you put an oxygen mask over your mouth to help you breath, and once you weren't struggling to breathe anymore, he sent a frightened looking Daryl a reassuring smile. He beckoned him closer, and with Hazel still in his arms, he walked over to you and sat down on the bed, hugging you gently and quickly before pulling back—there would be time to crush you to him and never let you go when you weren't sat with a recently shot stomach and a few broken ribs. Hershel patted his back reassuringly, and he sent a very awake, lucid you a warm smile.
“Welcome back.” He turned to Daryl and nodded. “She pulled through.”
“S'a good sign, righ'?”
For the first time in twenty four hours, Hershel gave the archer good news. “It's a damn good sign.”
You were grunting and reaching out to Daryl, and your husband instantly knew what you were requesting. With a nod from Hershel, Daryl slowly transfered Hazel into your arms, and your little one instantly recognized her mama's touch. Her mood instantly brightened, right alongside her father's.
You were okay. However, the same definitely wouldn't be said for the son of a bitch held prisoner as soon as Daryl was done with him later—he was going to pay for hurting you, and Daryl wasn't going to go easy on him, either.

A Mess || Part 10
Yes, ladies and gents and non-binary readers alike, the long awaited final part to A Mess has arrived. I’ve had this written for months and honestly thought I posted it already, so forgive the wait. I’m just a 23 year old teenage girl.
ANYWAYS, the polls for the contents of this final part resulted in:
More smut
Post Terminus / Pre Alexandria setting
The relationship becoming officially established & public
ANNNDDD a sequel series which is in the works ❤️🔥
18+ MDNI || Warnings: smut (male receiving oral, fingering, mild grinding), TWD typical stuff
The days seemed to drag on the way they did after Shane died. You felt like an old paintbrush dragging across a desolate canvas, leaving a trail of splotchy grays and bloody smears, painting your surroundings to mimic the twisted feelings of turmoil inside you. The prison was gone and so many were lost. Beth was dead. So were Bob and Tyreese. At least Carol was back.
You struggled to find anything to be grateful for, anymore. Sure, you narrowly escaped the hungry bellies of the cannibals at Terminus, and sure you were still alive, but were you really living? Was dragging the worn boots Daryl had gifted you when life was more forgiving across cracked asphault while your stomach gnawed away at your insides really any kind of life? Sometimes you wondered what you pressed on for. Especially with Daryl so reserved and closed off like he was. The loss of Beth had done something to him that you couldn't fully relate to because you weren't with Beth after the prison, you escaped with Glenn and found yourself locked away in a dark train car by the time you finally reunited with Daryl.
He had formed a sort of connection with her, something pure and protective, something that was shattered right before his eyes with a single gunshot.
You wished he'd just talk to you. Or touch you. Or even look at you. Was he so miserable he lost all interest? Surely not. He loved you. He told you so, the day he wound up in that train car with you.
You shielded your eyes as a bright light filled the dark box that confined you. You were sure they were coming to finally kill you off or whatever it was they planned to do with you.
You had sustained an injury to your head in the struggle to round you all up, so you were admittedly out of it. It wasn't until you felt rough hands around your cheeks and heard the panic and relief in his voice that you really registered what was going on.
"(Y/N)." He breathed as he planted a rough kiss on your forehead then your lips. "I thought you were dead. I love ya, ya hear me? I fuckin' love you."
You may not have remembered much from your concussed state, and he may have never said it again, but that was a memory you held onto with every last bit of your strength. He loved you.
You knew he just needed some time, but you also knew you needed him. You were slipping away; losing hope. A simple touch could have made the difference of life or death for you at that point.
Then, it rained. It was welcome. Your dry cracked lips, burning throat, and aching organs were brought back to life as you caught the droplets on your tongue. When the thunder rumbled, Daryl urged you all to an old barn he had found off on his own. He did that often; going off on his own.
The night was loud and it was hard to find any rest. The wind slapped the weathered wooden walls and seemingly shook the ground. The thunder was loud and frequent, bright flashes infiltrating the cracks and openings as the lightning grew closer. You tossed and turned a lot, only to eventually sit yourself up and rub your eyes. You jumped when your eyes readjusted to the darkness to see a looming figure before you.
"Hey." He whispered. You blinked.
"Hey." You whispered back. He stepped over and sat down beside you.
"Y'alright?" He asked.
"Can't sleep." You shrugged, not looking at him.
"Mm." He nodded. "Other than that."
"Just... tired." Was all you managed. There wasn't enough time in a day -- or sleepless night -- to go through and examine your emotions enough to lay them all out flat for him. Plus, that was never really his strong suit. You two showed each other how you felt in place of saying it. You always had. Which was another reason it hurt you so bad for him to pull away. You knew if he was done with what you had, he'd never say it. He'd just let you figure it out on your own, and you'd never really know why.
"That ain't it." He pointed out. "But it's okay. I know I ain't been much for talkin' lately. You don't gotta be, either."
You were lost for words. Was this an attempt at letting you back in? At being close to you?
"Anyway, I, uh.." He cleared his throat and glanced around, scanning through the dim light of the dying fire to ensure he hadn't woken anyone. "I just miss ya, is all."
"Oh." You nodded. "Yeah. Me too."
"Look, I just needed to figure it out, ya know? Let myself feel it." He persisted. "After Beth... After everything, I just couldn't let myself. But now I did, and I need to say sorry."
"I just didn't know if..."
"Nah." He cut you off. "That wasn't on you. That was me. 'N' I'm sorry."
"It's okay." You placed a gentle hand on his knee. "I get it."
Some moments passed in silence as you both felt devoid of anything to say. He cleared his throat again.
"Can I stay with you?" He asked.
"Yeah. Of course." You half smiled, even though he probably couldn't see. You shuffled over to a bed of old hay where you had laid out a jacket.
He laid down, propping his arm under his head in place of a pillow, and your crawled down beside him, curling up into his side and taking a breath. He was ripe with a lack of access to hygiene, but then again, so were you, so you decided to enjoy the musk as a byproduct of his closeness.
The longer you lay awake, feeling the warmth of his body, the more it hit you just how bad you needed him in such trying times. You realized then, more than ever, how bad you were craving his touch, his scent, his voice, his taste.
You popped your head up and looked up at his face. It was shadowy and dark but you’d recognize his features in total darkness. He glanced down at you with a softness, wondering what you were about to say.
However, ‘saying’ wasn’t on your agenda. No, it was much more of a ‘doing’ that you had planned.
You stretched your neck out to kiss him on the jaw as his hand rested contently on the back of your head. He thought you were just being affectionate in the way that girlfriends did when they missed their man, and you were, but you had other things planned, too. As your lips planted little kisses along his jawline until they met his own, he relaxed into the semi-comfortable bed of hay. He figured whatever you were doing, was just your way of telling him you missed him. After all, you two always showed what you felt, and rarely said it.
When your lips met his you quietly climbed over top of him, straddling him as you depend the kiss. The more you touched him, the deeper you felt his absence since Grady.
You broke away for a breath and littered more sloppy kisses over his cheeks and neck, stopping somewhere in between to nibble at his earlobe. He groaned quietly under the weight of you and your affections, hoping you’d stop whatever you were doing soon, as the aching member in his jeans was already begging to be touched. Unfortunately, there was no end in sight to your erotic touches. As you shifted, your own wet heat glided over the bulge in his pants, and you realized you were succeeding in your mission.
You were downright needy for him, breathy whines escaping you as you grounded against him, rubbing your flat hands over his chest with hunger, catching his lips in yours between sucking and nibbling at the flesh of his neck. His hands gripped your thighs as you got hotter and hornier, quickly realizing he wasn’t getting out of this one.
When you pulled back again, flushed and sweaty already, you could barely see the glisten in his eyes as he stared back at you. Slowly, you leaned down to whisper in his ear; “Quiet, okay?”
He nodded once and you slowly slid down until your face was level with his waist. Slowly, silent as you could manage, you unbuttoned his jeans, unzipped them, and wiggled them down his thighs. He let out a small breath when you rigged his boxers down, cold air hitting his bare flesh. With one last glance up at his face, you smirked and turned your attention to his tip, gently licking and planting wet kisses all around it.
A pleasant “agh” escaped him, prompting you to take it a step further. You wrapped your juicy lips around his tip and slowly lowered yourself, bobbing up and down with no sense of haste. He tried desperately to suppress any vocalizations that may have been at bay, fearful he’d wake someone, especially Carl or baby Jude.
It was painfully slow, the way you’d take him in further every so often, and when you finally met the base of him, he couldn’t suppress the groan. You quickly glanced around for any stirring bodies, and continued when you found none. Slow like a snail, gliding your lips and tongue up and down his length, hollowing out your cheeks to create a vacuum. You wanted him to understand what he was missing, what kind of bliss you could give him. You wanted him to feel your absence when he wasn’t around, just like you did his.
Soon enough he was throbbing in your mouth, his hips uncontrollably jerking. He was close. You debated whether or not to take it all the way or leave him begging for more. You opted to give him some relief, given the miserable circumstances of your lives.
You took all of him at once, his load spilling into the back of your throat and dripping down. You stayed like that for a moment, barely bobbing back and forth, allowing him to ride his high and come back down.
You wiped your mouth and grinned at him as you pulled away. With your help, he shimmied his pants back up and secured the button. You took your place beside him once again, snuggling up close, your head rested between his chest and shoulder.
He took a few minutes to recover before he used two fingers to guide your jaw up so he could place a gentle kiss on your swollen lips. He moved his kissed over your cheek and to your ear and whispered, “Quiet, okay?”
You bit your lip and smiled as he carefully slid his fingers in your jeans and traced one across your slit, starting at your entrance and ending at your clit. Deciding his big hand wouldn’t have enough room in your buttoned jeans, he went ahead and unbuttoned them and slid the zipper down to allow more movement.
With that out of the way, he could work delicately on your sweet spots, gently dragging his finger up and down your slit to get it nice and wet. All the while, you were biting down on your lip trying to keep quiet. He noticed the way your hips with try to follow his finger when it moved up. You wanted him inside you, so he’d give it to you.
He slid his middle finger inside you and pumped it in and out a few times, laying a free hand over your mouth to make sure your sounds could be muffled. Your eyes fluttered at the sensation of his calloused skin massaging your insides, effortlessly finding that one spot that made you weak. His thumb found your clit as he fingered you, rubbing little circles, eliciting a small moan. He paused and gave you a look, reminding you where you were. You nodded, letting him know you understood, and he continued. A trembling breath released from your nose, his other hand still over your mouth, as he slipped a second finger inside and continued massaging your g-spot and rubbing your clit.
As he settled into a rhythm, your body responded. You rocked your hips with his movements, communicating to him to keep up what he was doing. He understood. He always understood you.
In no time at all, all that pent up frustration and aches for his touch finally heated to a boiling point, and you spilled over. Your body and voice trembled as you shook and rode your orgasm on his fingers. When your body calmed and you flinched at his touch, he pulled his hand away and buttoned you back up. He relaxed again, triumphant this time, and you curled up close to him and drifted to sleep in an instant.
Daryl was the first to wake the next morning, but given your position sprawled across him, you were quick to get up with him. The two of you went outside to assess the storm damage. Trees had fallen in the night, narrowly missing the barn itself. You made small talk as you wandered the area, occasionally taking out a stray walker. When you went back inside, hand in hand, the rest of the group was awake and shuffling around. Maggie was the first to notice the way Daryl held your hand so casually, then Sasha, then Glenn and the rest. Nobody knew what to say, but they all stared and exchanged glances amongst each other. Daryl shifted a tad, uncomfortable with the sudden attention, but he braved his anxieties and stood firmly beside you. He cleared his throat.
“Damage is pretty bad out there. ‘S a miracle then damn trees didn’t fall right on us.” He said.
“Huh.” Rick hummed, nodding, still perplexed. He nodded down at your hand entwined with Daryl’s and raised his eyebrows.
“Oh.” Daryl shrugged, holding your hands up and looking down at them. He realized the two do you never really established a relationship, especially not completely openly. He figured the way he told you he loved you back in that train car at Terminus would have been a dead giveaway, but tensions were high back then. Maybe it went unnoticed. He shrugged again. “Yeah.”
You stifled a laugh and shook your head. Your family all smirked and smiled sweetly, but didn’t press further, save for Carol, who spoke in a ‘told you so’ kind of tone. “It’s about time you two quit playing footsies and took things to the next level.”

flirty girl || rick grimes x flirty!reader
summary: rick falling in love with a flirty reader headcanons :)
ok, so first yeah, you two meet at the farm
you see him for the first time and you think ‘damn he's fine’ but when is he not fine
then you see him sitting on the porch of the house and you decided to up to him to talk and stuff
ten minutes past by and you guys are laughing like your fucking best friends that has known each other for years
you decided to throw in some flirty comments here and there, like a friendly joke and you know what this man does? HE STARTS BLUSHING
so, next thing you know, every single time rick comes up to you, BOOM flirty joke. he asks you what you're having for dinner? BOOM flirty joke. he asks you to help him out with walkers? BOOM, flirty joke
it's getting to the point is that your new life goal is to flirt with this man
OK so fast forward to the prison
just because you flirt with rick doesn't mean you don't love lori and carl??
like bitch, you call her baby inside her stomach nugget?? you're obsessed with her and just because of rick, doesn't mean you don't flirt with her too ;)
since you're basically around rick all the time, that means you see carl a lot too
AND HE IS THE CUTEST ON GOD
bro, you're basically this guy's IDOL
every single time you go on a run, you always bring back magazines for carl and when you give it to him, this boy will give you the tightest hug of you LIFE
and rick's heart melts when he sees you with carl and he's like ‘catching feels?’
SPEAKING of rick, since lori finds amusement out of you flirting with rick, i feel like you flirting with rick has become more frequent
and sometimes rick comes back with a flirty comeback?? 😫
like, when did this bitch become so bold out of a sudden???
other than that, i feel like rick would be so. . ✨possessive✨
like let's say, you get yourself into tricky situations, you go — to? flirting.
and you know what rick is? jealous.
especially when merle is there and he flirts with you everyday and rick tells him to fuck off out of jealousy??
#FOLDING
unfortunately, all happy things come to an end 😔
when lori dies, rick confides in you with EVERYTHING because he just knows he can trust you
we don't talk about how lori dies before merle comes and i wrote it wrong
although, you're also grieving lori, you're there for rick 24/7
when you first see rick holding judith, that's when you knew you were in love with him
speaking of judith, that girl has you WRAPPED around her little finger
like every single time you walk past her, she coos and you always try to resist it, but you end up cuddling her anyways :3
you know the illness in season 4? yeah, unfortunately you have it (sorry pookie 😔)
and my bae rick is stressing
like, he be going on runs left, right and centre just to find something that can heal you
i mean everyone is because they can't lose their ball of sunshine (even daryl's stressing)
anyways, back to rick, he is snapping at everyone (except from carl) because he just can't lose you
fan behaviour if you ask me 🤷♀️
now, time skip to where the g*verner comes
so basically, when the g*verner comes to the prison, my boy is SOO protective over you
he is keeping you behind him at ALL times
ESPECIALLY when the g*verner and his men starts shooting at them
TIME SKIP TO TERMINUS
so basically, when you escaped the prison, you were alone with only baby judith in your arms
and then soon (around two weeks later) you see carol and tyreese walk on a train track
you guys talk for a while and then you guys hear an explosion
carol and tyreese go to check it out and when they come back, they say that rick, carl, daryl and michonne are there
carol said she's gonna go bomb the place? and what do you do? YOU FUCKING JOIN HER BITCH-
anyways. . y'know when rick and daryl are on that rectangular thing, about to get their heads chopped off and they hear an explosion? 2 seconds later, boom your shooting everyone with a rifle
you escort all your friends out of the premises and once your outside, the tears finally start to fall out
rick engulfs you in some massive ass hug and you feel tears staining your shoulder
you feel someone hugging your waist and you see carl with tears in his eyes, holding tightly to your waist
rick removes his head from your shoulder and kisses your temple and if you wasn't holding onto rick you're sure your knees would have buckled
after you hug everyone else, you all start walking in a random direction and while you are walking with michonne, you and rick making love eyes at each other
i'm not bothered to introduce gabriel rn so let's skip to the CHURCH (ps. all you need to know is that rick was VERY protective of you, on your way to the church 😉)
i think we all know how protect he is when those pricks who ate bob's leg comes to the church
bro get's mad when the ‘leader’ mentions you, my guy was ready to shoot him in the head right there if it wasn't for daryl
anyways they're all at the barn where they have aaron hostage and when rick notices him looking at you?
FINISHED
like he's saying ‘keep your eyes off my girl’ and shit
but he does kinda feel bad when he finds out he's gay but not really at the same time
let's go to alexandria 😏
anyways, this is when the jealousy comes in
so one day, you are strolling to rick's house and you open it without knocking because why not, then you see a blonde woman giving rick a hair cut and flirting with him??
and in your head, you're like ‘bitch???’
OBVIOUSLY you have to step your game up but you keep seeing them together and you just give up
to the point where you're barely even around rick anymore and he starts to get pissy about it
flirting 😏
he keeps on talking to you but you're just giving bare dry answers cause fuck communication 🤪
it gets to the point where he's not even sleeping at night
you know when deanna throws a party for the group? yeah that's when the real shit happens
you arrive like a ✨diamond✨ and rick can't keep his eyes off of you
so you do what you to best
but instead of flirting with rick, you're flirting with deanna's son, spencer
rick's decided that's he's had enough and he DRAGS you out of the place and he does not give a fuck about the eyes watching him
but being the gentleman he is, he doesn't have your wrist in a tight grip 🥰
because of that, you break out of his grip easily
and after the crying, the love confession, first kiss, blah blah blah YOU GUYS ARE FINALLY TOGETHER
since you guys are together now, flirting EVERY SECOND, EVERY MINUTE, EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY
rick = 200% more protective
since you two are together, I feel like carl would start to call you mum because he sees you as his and judith starts saying it as well 😭
perfect little family fr
even when you're old and wrinkly, you're still with rick ;)
as if that man could get rid of you
no negan today sorry, he decided to be a good person 👍

When the apocalypse happened, you were just 20 years old. You were scared out of your mind then you meet a group, a pretty awesome group on the way.
Getting stable at the prison and everyone getting ready to go on hunt. You were the youngest adult only at 23 years old.
You looked up to the group leader whose Rick Grimes. He’s quite amaizng to you and he had his downfalls and ups but that made him human and a better leader.
Walking around the prison as you saw Glenn and Maggie.
"Hey love birds!" You say and Maggie chuckled as he hands you your supply bag.
"What? Wanna join?" Maggie jokes and you laugh.
"Oh! Don’t tempt me with a good time!"
You say and she laughs as Glenn rolls his eyes playfully at you
"No no no I like it the way it is!" Glenn adds on and you laugh more as you smile.
"Thanks for my bag Maggie" you say and she nods as she began walking away with Glenn.
Throwing your bag over your shoulder as you pull your tank top down to adjust your ripped black pants as you saw Rick in your view.
Hearing Daryl rev his bike up and you wave to him.
"Hey pretty little lady!" Daryl yells and you laugh.
"Oh Good morning pretty boy" you say and Daryl smiled as he walks up to you, feelings eyes on you, looking around and saw Rick staring at you then looking away.
"You know keep calling me that people are gonna think some things…" Daryl says as he takes the cigarette from his lips as he grabs a wrench and sits on the concrete floor.
Sitting on the bike as Daryl looks up at you with a smirk.
"Hey be careful"He says and you nod
"I will be or what? Mad I can’t ride you like this" you say jokingly not noticing that Rick was right behind you.
"Oh whoa. I’m- Did I interrupt something?" Rick voice says, scaring the hell out of you, which made Daryl laugh as you turn to Rick, instantly getting off the bike.
"Oh no! You didn’t! I was just joking!" You say and Rick nods as he smirks at you.
"Council meeting happening in cell block B in 10. Be there." Rick says and you nod as you look at Daryl as he puts his tools down.
"Somethin’ happen." Daryl says as you watch Rick walk away, the council got created with original members like yourself, Daryl, Rick, Michonne, Herschel, Maggie and Glenn and Carol. You were all the trusted ones to Rick especially after his wife died. Rick leaned on you the most even though you couldn’t or knew how it felt to lose the love of your life. Right after that the Woodbury attack and taking in refugees along with people that survived. It became a community and quite large one.
Walking with Daryl inside the cell block as you saw Tyreese and few other people you learned to trust and love like family along. Hugging Tyreese and Sasha as they smile at you, then frendily waving to Bob and everyone else you passed.
You are quite known probably because of your smile and go lucky attitude. You felt like even tho the world ending and everyone losing something and hurting like you are, you have to be something to one of these peopl. So you smiled and let people trust you to them feel better and to laugh, your great leader when need to be. You took care of the children in the camp as well either giving up your rations for them or going out their way of playing with them.
You couldn’t help shake those lingering eyes especially when you talked to people especially like Tyreese or Daryl, even with Glenn and Maggie, those eyes that would burn holes into the back of head would watch and then stop once you stop talking to them. You never figured it who or what it was. It’s been happening lately and made on guard too.
Going to the cell block as it’s completely empty besides the council members.
"Finally the two of you arrived" Maggie says and you stick tongue out at her childish making Daryl laugh as you sit down.
"Okay, We have problem lately we’ve sending too many groups out and a lot of people aren’t coming back…We’ve tried using our strongest member abut a lot of you guys can handle so much. We barley have crops, there not growing." Rick says and everyone quiet.
"How about we do rotation of 5 once a week and if need to be Twice a week. It could be me , Daryl, Maggie and Glenn and Sasha for an example and we go out for thre week. We all trust each other and we all work together and we’ll know we will make it back alive….Next week a different group and so on…So we don’t use up all our good people to survive." You say and everyone looks at you.
"For the crops, I could help with that Rick, I grew up on a farm and my daddy loved growing his own food, I know few tricks." You say and Rick nods.
"I’ll take you up on the help and that’s good idea but we should plan that out more and see who works well with each other if we’re gonna do rotations like that for supply runs." Rick says and you agree.
"Oh what about the water source? It hasn’t been the greatest. The water been murky and brown and we’re all getting really thirsty lately." Carol adds on and Daryl sighs.
"I’ll got cheek out the creek nearly by and see if anything happened there and the rain water sprout too. " Daryl says and you nod.
"I can help with that too. Before the end of the world I was a Engineer major in college…I could fix something up for the rain water and add a homemade purifier if I get the right supplies. I did do the water lines we have with what we been showering and see the system their working on." You say and Glenn smiles
"I can totally help you that, Miss.Smarty Pants. I help build that system so most definitely can help."Glenn says and you nod in agreement.
"Great. We head out to the creek tomorrow then." Daryl adds on as he places his hand on your knee and you instantly felt eyes burning into you. It made you look and seeing Rick staring directly at you, making you nervous to swallow right now, it brought shivers to you.
This is what you’ve been feeling since you got here and meet Rick and this group. You thought it was Daryl at first but no.
"Yeah sounds good." You mutter out to Daryl
"Any other matter we need to deal with?" Maggie asks and Rick shakes his head and walks away without another word or a missed beat in his steps.
"Great. I’ll check the water today and see what it looks like and let you guys knows." Carol says and you nod as you began walking away with Glenn Maggie and Daryl.
"Does Rick seem to be acting werid today?" You ask quietly to them and they simply shake their head "no".
-2 months later-
You fixed the water supply but it’s still a work in progress and the crops are growing pretty good especially now that’s it’s into the warmer months. After the few tricks you showed Rick it’s been golden especially with the warmer seasons head now.
It’s late night and everyone turning in for the night at the moment.
Seeing Rick walk up to you, making you smile Rick and yourself got considerably close to each other within the past couple months especially helping him and Carl with the crops.
"Hey Rick." You say and he smiled at you.
"It’s getting late. Why are you still out here?" He asks and you nod as you look off as he stand next to you.
"I’m taking Sasha shift as gaurd tonight…she wants to spend some time with Tyreese and talk to him about what happened with the supply run." You spoke quietly making Rick nods.
" yeah that’s good. That’s good." Rick says and you nod.
"I want to talk to you about something…private." He says and you nod.
"Okay, now?" you ask and Rick nods, you can tell he’s nervous about something.
"Yeah what is it?" You ask Ri k shakes his head a she pulls you along heading towards the guard tower that’s not destroyed and where people keep watch.
"Whoa Rick clam down" you say as still pulls you along as you and him get into the guard tower. Looking at the empty gaurd tower as look at Rick now.
"Why did you drag me all the way I’ve there?" You and and Rick just stared at you.
"Are you with Tyreese ?" he asks and you stare at him in shock.
"With Ty? What do you mean by that?" You ask confused and very concerned for Rick at the way he’s talking and walking back and fourth.
"Are you fucking Tyreese?" He asks and you stare at him with a blank face.
"No! No I’m not! In what world did you get that from?" You ask
"Just wondering you and him pretty close to each other like you do everyone other guy in the camp." Rick says and you gasp
"Are you calling me a sl-" You ask him.
"No no no no no" Rick shakes his head, you can tell thoughts are just flooding his head and he’s doesn’t know how to deal. Rick wiping his face as he licked his lips glancing at you.
"Rick what’s wrong with you? Talk to me" You ask as you grab onto him making Rick look at you. Rick grabbing your face roughly as he kisses you softly.
Being frozen in spot as you felt his lips, your heart beating in your chest.
Slowly kissing him back as you grab his face as he kissed you more passionately and his hands traveled down to your ass squeezing tightly.
"Is this okay?" He asks pulling away slightly from your lips and all you could do is grab his face.
"It’s perfect." You say and kiss him more making him push you against the watch tower wall.
Rick taking your shirt off and kissing your breasts softly as he snaps your bra off with one hand.
Rick staring at your breasts as all he could do is smile making you blush in return. "You’re so fucking beautiful." He whispers to you.
His mouth meets them quickly marking them with his teeth and hard sucks on them.
Rick hands going down to your belts loops as he toys with them as he kisses you softly. His hand slipping underneath your pants reaching your pussy as his mouth quickly switched to one breast and the other.
Rick slowly pushing his two fingers in you making moan softly. Rick smirk even more as he pulls your panties down and lifts one of your legs onto his shoulders, placing you tighter between him and the wall of the watch tower.
"Fuck!" You moan out as Rick began thrusting his fingers quickly and his mouth meet with your clit quickly too.
His mouth to your pussy, licking your wetness in long thick strips. Finding his hair once more and pulling softly. He kissed around the clit, his licks sending you pleasure. Rick pulling you closer as he flicks and licks you in the areas most pleasurable areas, you didn’t know existed on you.
"Fuck fuck fuck, RICK!…please…please" You moan out loudly as your back arch more away from the wall as you grip Rick hair tighter as he began moving his finger again as he suck on your clit.
You weren’t sure how much you can take of this. You never felt anything this and knowing it’s the man you been in love with for months, making you feel this, sent you over the edge.
"Cum for me, sweetheart." Rick growls as he pulls away slightly from you and all you can do is just babble and moan due to the pleasure.
Squeezing your eyes shut as you breathing hitched and all you can do is yell "I’m cumming." Making Rick start thrusting his fingers even more in you. Rick lifting away from in between your legs as he lick his lips with a satisfied smirk. Staring at him with heavy breathing as he smiles at you.
"On the floor now." He says and you simply nod.
Rick smirking as he watched get the ground and that’s when you realized their bunch of blankets and you smirk softly, looking towards Rick.
The fucker planned this.
Getting in your knees in front of him as you began undoing Rick buckle as you lick your lips.
"Look at you…no more Ms.innocent anymore." Rick chuckles
"I never said I was innocent" you giggle out with a smirk on your face, that just make Rick stop you and push you to the blankets.
Rick getting onto of you with a wide smirk now as you wrap your legs around his waist. Rick kissing you softly as michevous shined in your eye.
Rick giving the same look back as he positions himself perfectly and slowly pushes in you.
"Fuck….Shit, Rick!" You groan out Rick thrusting his cocks in you slowly and he quickly picked up pace.
Moaning as Rick hand went to your throat and began choking you slowly making you moan out more the best you can as you felt Rick other free hand smack your breasts lightly.
Rick pulling out quickly as he flips you so easily onto your stomach, pulls your arms to your back, holding them in place as he slips his cock back into you and starts slamming into you now.
Rick slamming into you, as you began moving your hips with him, moving together with him as she slams in you.
"Fuck baby! You feel so good." Rick groans as he lands a solid slap on your ass making you jump in pain and pleasure but god you loved it. Rick landing few more hard slaps on your ass making your ass red and sore now.
"Please more." You moan out as Rick slapped your ass more before he grabs your hips and pulls onto his cock harder and began slamming into you as the noises of meeting your skin were loud and filled the tower.
Clenching around Rick as he knew your so close. You felt it bubbling up in your lower stomach.
"Fuck fuck!" You scream out as Rick pulling out again as you whimper at the lost of his cock.
Until Rick flips you again on your back.
"I want to see your face while you take all my cum." Rick utters out as his hand went back to your throat squeezing your throat just the way you like it, cutting abit of airflow, making smile slightly in response.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK!" You scream out now, clenching tightly around Rick cock now.
"Come on baby. You can do it. Cum for me baby." He says as he slams harder and faster.
Nodding with each thrust as your arms wrap around Rick and pull him close to your chest as your legs wrap around him.
Rick groaning as he kisses your neck gently. Your legs began getting more shakey as you began cumming all over Rick dick but that didn’t stop him.
"Did I tell ya to cum?" He says in your ear sending almost chills down your spine but it went straight to pussy as you shake your head submissively.
"Say it." Rick growls at you.
"No you didn’t." You say and Rick nods.
"Mhm you’re right about that." He says as he began slamming into making your grip the blankets tighter, but he soon stops as he flips you again to your stomach.
Lifting your ass as he shoved his dick back into you as he grabs our hair and pulls your head back to his shoulder as his hand reached around for your neck as he squeezes watching your face contort in more pleasure.
Becoming a Moaning mess and sensitive as you can tell Rick close as he slams into you, his cock twitching in you as he now hits your g spot, sending you over again. Cumming against his cock again as you felt warm cum in you, making you smile as Rick slowly pulls out.
"Fuck that amazing." He says and you nod as Rick pulls out and lays next you, pulling you close.
"I needed that for months." You say and Rick nods in agreement.
"Me too baby."
"And I would love to do it again." He says and you nod in agreement as you felt his cum drip out of you.
"Oh me too. I could go for another round" he says and you nod.
"Don’t tempt me baby." He says and you laugh as you kiss him slowly getting onto of him.
"Seriously the whole prison gonna hear us now." He says making you laugh as you kiss his neck softly.

You do what you can
Daryl Dixon • She/Her Pronouns • Grimes’s Sister!Reader • This group desperately needs a home, and you need help. There’s only so much the archer and leader can do • ANGST/SFW • TW: Pregnancy / Excessive Nausea & Vomiting / Malnutrition
Requested by: Anon
NEXT
Hyperemesis Gravidarum, or severe vomitting is what Hershel said. It’s excessive nausea and vomiting that results in being unable to eat and drink because you can’t keep anything down.
Of course I had it.
Finding out I was pregnant in the prison, during the good times was of course bittersweet. Daryl, my partner, was worried about losing me like Lori but reassured that everything would be fine. Then the illness came through and he thought I had it with how intense my morning sickness was.
But Hershel reassured us and well scared us about a lot of the reactions that come with not being able to keep anything down.
“Please, what can I do?”
“Some just have this, Daryl. I’ll keep an eye on her. You gotta help the others”
While Daryl helped get medicine for those suffering the prison illness, he managed to find IV bags of fluids and that helped keep me hydrated when I couldn’t even take a sip of water without my throat burning.
Then well…a lot happened after that
Days have passed and again, a lot has happened. The prison collapsed, the group splitting, Beth’s disappearance, The Claimers,…Terminus, and now the group found themselves in the forest after barley escaping that hell they claimed as a “sanctuary for all” but it wasn’t.
After the small reunion, the group started to walk to…somewhere that wasn’t there. Eventually finding the chapel and the priest that almost lost his life if they didn’t arrive.
Before she even stepped foot into the small chapel, Y/N gripped Daryl’s arm indicating she needed to throw up again and step away to do so. Least she’s trying to inform him instead of disappearing for a few minutes to vomit in the woods. Not a pretty sight or…a pleasant sound.
Rick noticed the two coming in last as Y/N pulls away from Daryl to sit in a pew before ultimately laying down in it. He frowns trying to think of what he could do, she is his sister after all.
“How she doing?” He asks the second the archer approached him after checking on her once more.
“We better have a plan soon” Daryl frowns crossing his arms. “Doubt we’ll run into another hospital but the IV shit helped. Gotta find something like it”
“Or try to get her to drink. Just. Shit, I don’t know what else to do. Lori never had this shit”
The archer was sort of lost in his own mind, trying to plan something out that could help his partner. But every end is a dead one.
“I’m gonna keep watch, holler if?”
“Yeah, go ahead” Rick frowns watching Daryl go back to the pew Y/N was currently laid in, informing her of where he’ll be before stepping out of the chapel and Carol following behind him.
A few hours passed and Y/N jolted awake from an anxious thought only to feel the jacket draped over her which belonged to her brother. She eventually brought herself to sit up and put the jacket on entirely feeling the dryness of her hands, especially after not being able to have nutrients.
“Hey, how are you doing?” Michonne brought herself to sit with Y/N as she instantly rests her head on her friend’s shoulder. “Rick is taking watch and Daryl still isn’t back yet, just thought—-“
“He’s looking for Beth”
“How do you—?”
“Gut feeling…” Y/N frowns bringing her hands onto her small bump, feeling the anxiety bubble up inside her. “Michonne?”
“Yes?”
“…I…I’m afraid of losing my baby” She did her best to keep the tears from coming even if her body fought her against it and worsened her headache by bringing on the tears. “or of them losing—-“
“We will find the help you need. To keep you both alive and well”
But the worse kept coming, and we kept losing.
Bob was the first because of a bite. Then it was Beth at the hospital because of a cop with a trigger finger. Then Tyreese from blood loss because of an amputation caused by a bite. Sasha lost a partner and her brother, Maggie lost the last of her family. The two were on edge, Daryl felt like he failed, and the group was slowly weakening the more they continued on this blind path given the real news about Eugene came out. So no more hope for a cure. It will always be survival for those living through the apocalypse.
Maggie grew extra attached to Y/N given her state and the group can’t take another loss if it happened. Every time Y/N had to throw up or take a breather while the others kept walking, besides Daryl, Maggie was always there glued to her side which included Glenn glued to hers.
“Rick” Maggie called out for him with a bit of venom in her voice as he gave her a concerned look while handing Judith to Carol. “We need a break”
“It’s barely midday, we have to keep walking”
“Y/N can’t keep walking any longer. She needs a break” Maggie frowns pulling him to look directly at Y/N who was struggling to keep herself up even with Daryl’s help.
“Alright…Alright!” Rick nods directing people into the tree line, out of the road, to set up camp for the rest of the day and night.
Abraham took care of checking their surroundings as Sasha retraced their steps making sure they weren’t followed by anything or anyone. Carol got Noah and Glenn to help her set a few trigger lines for those who want to sleep. As much as Daryl wanted to help secure their surroundings, he felt as if he’d leave Y/N, that she’d decline. She’s already doing so but he thought he’d accelerate the process the moment he leaves.
“Can yea try for me?” Daryl frowns giving the last of his water to his partner as she nods, accepting his help with drinking from his canteen. He noticed a bit of a skin reaction on her neck from scratching the dryness as it was the same on her left arm. “Try not to scratch anymore…”
“Hard not to…” Y/N frowns leaning against the tree as Daryl sets his canteen down with his stuff bringing himself to sit against the tree. Gesturing with his eyes for her to lay her head in his lap. “We’ll find something…right, Dar?”
“I promise yea, sunshine” Daryl reassures brushing the hair out of her face watching Maggie approach them draping the blanket Rosita gave her to give Y/N over her body. The poor girl had already fallen asleep after being still long enough. “We’ll find somewhere right?”
“If we have to take it from somebody, then yeah. We’ll find somewhere” Maggie reassures him with a smile but hell, he knew she was anxious about her state.
The night was rough.
While she was exhausted more than the others because of being pregnant and having to be a part of less than 3% of pregnant individuals with hyperemesis gravidarum, she couldn’t control her anxiety jerks that would wake her. Freaking out Daryl every time and him waking resulted in Rick and Maggie waking given they stuck close to the two. Then the almost every hour to vomit. It’s gotten bad that Y/N started to dry heave and that would wake the rest sleeping. But every complain resulted in either her partner glaring at them or her brother snapping.
“My head hurts…” Y/N whispers to herself as the group started walking again the next day, this time she was with Carol while Daryl searched around for anything to have a longer stay in. Away from staying outside.
“Is that it?” Carol’s worry came out of her tone as she brought her arm around Y/N’s waist when she noticed her sway slightly. “You’ve got the last of the water…not like it was enough…we need a miracle or something”
“Kids first…Jude needs it. Carl needs it—-“
“You and your baby do too” Her tone shifted to strict immediately. She remembered how Y/N sacrificed a lot of her things in the past to keep everyone else afloat and she wasn’t about to let her do it again when it comes to her health.
It felt like fate or a foreshadow given after that conversation, everyone surrounded a cluster of water bottles in the middle of the road about an hour later.
“Someone has to test it” Eugene went to grab one and it was immediately smacked out of his hands by Abraham. “What!”
“It could be a trap” Rosita scoffs at him. “You think we’d give a pregnant woman poisoned water”
“Not like I can keep it down” Y/N whispers as she stares at the cluster before flinching to the touch of water. Water?
The storm that Rick expected to come days later, decided to come sooner and thank Mother Nature for that. Few started to empty to bottles and fill it with rain water as it was the next best thing, then those who’ve lost so much took the “peaceful” moment to take it all in.
As Y/N looks up at the rainfall feeling the heat expel her body for a moment and a sudden wave of uncertainty take her. But before she could even be audible about such, her body had enough.
“Y/N!” Maggie yells the second her body hit the floor as Daryl instantly dropped to her aid checking her person for any injury.
But it was just her body shutting down and that thought triggered Daryl.
“I saw a barn a few yards inward. We gotta—-“
Rick didn’t hesitate another moment as he quickly picked up his sister in his arms while Daryl led the way to the temporary shelter he found.
After another rough night and sort of rude morning, Daryl protectively held Y/N close to his person the second she woke around the time this Aaron guy was discovered.
“Hey…hey” Daryl fought back tears watching her wake as she didn’t say anything but rest her head against his chest in a sense of reassurance. “You’re gonna be okay, okay? Please” his voice cracked trying to say more.
“Our community can protect her, your daughter.” Aaron tried to sell this unknown community as he glances to the situation happening behind Rick and directed toward that. “Can save her from dying—-“
Watch your words.
Rick instantly grabbed his collar forcing the man against the nearest wall glaring into his soul. “She ain’t dying and how do I know you wouldn’t kill her in this place?”
“B-Because we won’t! You don’t have to trust us right away b-b-but we have an infirmary. A-A surgeon that knows his stuff”
If his sister wasn’t in this condition, he wouldn’t have give in so easily. Not like he wouldn’t watch this total stranger like a hawk when checking her person.
Which led them to giving about five percent of their trust to this stranger and following him with his partner to Alexandria, the community he talked about. A few residents that helped with the infirmary tried taking Y/N on a gurney but her family was close to killing a few people for trying to touch her without warning. Soon Daryl along with Maggie followed the few that pulled Y/N away on the gurney they brought out after Aaron’s partner Erin radio’d in.
“If you keep glaring, it won’t let me work faster” Peter states, getting the IV into Y/N’s arm after he asked Maggie to help her out of her clothes and into a new change of clothes enough to show some of the skin lesions she had so he could take care of them.
“Don’t do anythin’ without informing” Daryl glares keeping close to Y/N’s bedside on the other side. Peter looks at him with a blank expression, tensing a bit every now and then.
“She’ll stay here until she’s hydrated enough, or least til your group gets placement.” He states hanging the bag after taping the IV on her arm. “Y’all said she’s pregnant?”
For an anxious reason, Daryl gave Maggie a worried expression thinking…yeah…when Peter was simply asking to confirm it or not.
“Yeah, she’s pregnant. Why?” Maggie frowns watching Peter’s every move as he stepped away to one of the storage closets for equipment they have and or get from runs.
“We don’t have an ultrasound machine. Just tests and one of these things I forgot the name of” Peter held a device that could detect the heartbeat of a fetus, as for checking the conditions they’d have to go full old school for that and he’d need to find a book in their library, if they have one on pregnancy. But for now they have this.
Right before Peter even moved the blanket to lift her shirt to put the wand on, Y/N flinched pulling herself away given she woke once more in the middle of all that. Daryl frowns, relieved though, as he brushes back her hair catching her worried expression.
“He’s gonna check on the peanut, Y/N. Just let’em. I won’t let him do anythin’ else” Daryl reassures as Y/N nods slowly letting the man work but kept her eyes on him while he turned the device on and guided the wand to the right spot.
Heartbeat
A surprisingly healthy heartbeat
“That’s good. Strong” Peter states pulling the wand away before fixing the blanket over her and putting the device away. “I’ll come back in an hour or two to give her more fluids. Want me to tell your leader you’ll be in here?” He asks Maggie given the two watched Daryl drop to his knees hugging Y/N tightly her in her laid out state.
“Please.” Maggie gave a small smile letting the man leave before bringing herself to the other side of her bed resting her hand on her leg. “We’ll make this place work. To keep you both safe”
The two held onto one another and Maggie kept an eye on them for Rick before leaving to give them a minute. She kept close to the infirmary in case either of the two needed anything as she watches Rick practically run his way over to her with a worried look.
“She’s going to be okay. They both are” Maggie smiles watching the tension leave Rick’s shoulders for a moment as he instantly went for a hug with his friend.
When they parted, before the retired sheriff went in to check on his sister himself…the remaining Greene stopped him.
“Yeah?”
“We need to make this place work, Rick”
“I know…but—-“
“You can be cautious. We all are gonna be a while…but we all need this to work. For us, your kids, for them. We need this place for us”
“You do what you can for your family, and I’ll always protect mine”

you held judith in your arms, hushing her cries the small cabin fell silent as martin wrapped his arms around your neck, gradually tightening his grip. “back off!” martin yelled. tyreese started, “please. please.” he held his hands up after giving up his weapons. walkers surrounded the cabin, banging on the windows and door. judith’s screams and cries causing chaos.
“go outside.” martin continued, each second tyreese wasn’t cooperating, his grip around your throat was tightening. “go outside!” he yelled again. tyreese looked at you, “go” you gasped.
finally, he stepped back opening the wooden door and disappearing with the walkers. you close your eyes letting the tears stain your cheeks, as you heard the struggle.
martin finally released, hurrying over to the knife your friend dropped and cut off the restraint. “cynthia, do you copy?” he held the radio, but nothing was coming through. the loud noises finally ceased, and judith finally calmed down after your endless cooes and shushes.
he walked over to the door, holding his knife. ready to face whatever was beyond the door. then, busting the door down tyreese appeared and grabbed martin, talking him to the ground. you couldn’t face the scene unraveling in front of you. you scurried into the corner with your eyes closed, and judith to your chest.
when it was over, tyreese stood up and it fell silent. you opened your eyes, meeting with your friend.
tyreese helped you up, holding your side for support. you still clinging onto judith. “you okay?” he huffed, you nodded wiping the tears from your cheeks. “thanks, ty.” he nodded and began to lead you out of the cabin into the light.
“carol should be back soon, for now, it’s jus a waitin game” he held your side, comforting you the best he could.
so, thats exactly what the two of you did. and it wasn’t very long before you saw the figures of your group approaching, carol leading them.
you saw rick first, who immediately saw his baby. alongside carl they came running and scooped the child in their arms, then hugged you softly. “thank you.” when he pulled away, your eyes began searching for daryl.
his eyes met with yours, he hurriedly ran to you. “oh god” you cried, holding him tightly. you were safe, in his arms. he had been hoping, praying to any god that heard him just to make sure you’d be safe. he held onto that hope, he knew you were strong. he never doubted that. daryl pulled back, looking over your current state. “you okay?”
you nodded, also looking at his injuries. “your face..” he shocked him. “‘m fine. swear.” he dropped his head into the crook of your neck, just wanting to be held. tears brimmed the both of your eyes, his quiet sobs filled the air followed by your sniffles.
later that night, sitting somewhere in the woods, you were accompanied by daryl. you tried your best to clean up his cuts with the little supplies you had, he insisted he was fine. you finally admitted, “i thought i lost you.” daryl watched you, dropping your bag to the forest floor. “nah. never” he reached for you hand, holding you gently.
his hands were coarse, but you missed it. you knew most people would be put off by that, but to you, his touch made you feel at home. daryl stared at you, examining every little detail, afraid of letting you slip through his hands.
he sat up, “yer neck” carefully using his left hand to brush your hair that was sticking to your neck, pointing to the now bruise forming. “what happened?” looking up from your bag, you met with his eyes yet again. “in the cabin” you swallowed, “there was one of the guys from terminus, at first we had him under control but then he..” you sighed, recalling judith’s cries. “he held me and judith hostage, i guess you could say. chokehold.”
fire burned behind daryl’s eyes, the sudden urge to find this guy and rip him to shreds. he stood up but you pulled him back down. “dar” you shook your head. he opened his mouth to say something but he couldn’t. nothing would come out.
“ty took care of it. he saved me.” you shook your head, holding eye contact. “i’m okay, i promise.”
daryl looked away, eyes dancing around on the ground as he chewed his gums trying to find out what to say. your hand rested on his shoulder, trying to comfort him. “it isn’t your fault. you couldn’t have known” he shook his head, finally returning to your gaze. “i shoulda been there”
“you couldn’t have known. it’s okay, i’m okay now, im here and you’re here.” you assured, you cupped his face. “we’re okay” daryl huffed, but you were right. you always here. “m’kay”
you kissed his nose, “okay” you smiled.

Alone || Crumbling Down
Previous
"They seemed nice enough, but I was ready to go. We just got here, but, damn, it was time to go. When I told them about DC, a wink and a nod from the head asshole in charge, and it was right back to our regularly scheduled shitstorm." The redhead, Abraham told the five new members of the train cart.
Rick had ordered the group to make weapons out of anything they could get their hands on, as members of the party caught each other up during their separation.
Natalia bent down, grabbing the Swiss army knife that was tucked into her boot, covered by her sock, then reached into her pocket, grabbing out the handful of darts from the country club, handing them out to her friends.
"Sweetheart, now's not really the time for a game of darts." Abraham said.
"They have a point, dumbass." Rosita, his girlfriend said, touching the tip of the dart with the pad of her thumb.
Natalia passed one to Daryl, who gave her a look.
"Told you I had stuff on me, too bad they didn't think to frisk Michonne and I." She gave him a small smile.
"Before they put you in here, you didn't see Tyreese?" Sasha asked them.
"No." Michonne told her.
"Good."
"What about Beth?" Maggie asked.
Natalia swallowed hard, before answering.
"We got out together, me, her and Daryl." She started. "We got split up by a herd."
"Black car with a white cross painted on it. Drove off with her." Daryl continued. "We tried to follow it. We tried."
"But she's alive?"
"She's alive." Natalia confirmed. "She's a survivor, a stubborn one."
The group continued to work in silence, using shoelaces, belts and necklaces to make weapons, as well as the darts Natalia gave them, each person having one in their grasp.
Daryl stood watch, keeping an eye out through the gaps as people outside talked and shouted to one another.
"What are you doing?" A man called out to someone.
"Everybody shut up. Shut up!"
"Alright. Got four of them pricks coming our way." Daryl announced.
"Y'all know what to do." Rick said. "Go for their eyes first. Then their throats." They gathered by the door, getting ready.
That's when Natalia noticed something, staring at the ceiling.
"Put your backs to the walls on either side of the car now." A man shouted at them.
"We should get back." She said.
"Huh?"
"Look." She pointed at the top of the train cart, just as someone began walking on it.
The latch was pulled open, shining sunlight down on them, showing off the red in Abrahams hair.
A flash bomb was thrown at their feet.
"Told you!"
"Move!" Abraham shouted, everybody ran to the corners, Natalia brought up the sweatshirt, covering her mouth and nose.
The can exploded, filling the cart in a dark cloud of smoke.
The door slid open, people marched in.
Someone had grabbed Natalia, she wriggled out of the persons grasp, but someone else, Daryl, had pulled her back, throwing a punch at the guy, but soon enough, he was thrown outside by another person.
Once the smoke was cleared, they could see who was missing; Rick, Daryl, Glenn and Bob.
"Fuck!" Natalia kicked the side of the train cart.
The sound of an explosion went off outside.
Natalia stared at where she kicked, stepping back.
Gunshots sounded outside, as well as the familiar snarl of their undead friends.
Abraham began punching the cart.
"What the hell is going on?" He said through clenched teeth.
"Someone hit them." Michonne said.
"Maybe our people got free." Sasha guessed.
"Excuse me." Eugene barged past Sasha and Tara, bending down to the floor in front of the door.
"What the hell are you doing?" Rosita asked him.
I might be able to use this shell to compromise the door. From the sounds of things, there may not be anybody left to open it."
"Eugene, I'm sorry but shut up." Tara told him.
Carl walked over from the back, Natalia put an arm over his shoulder.
"My dad's gonna be back." He told the other people. "They all are."
"They are." Maggie agreed.
"Our biggest concern right now, is making sure we're able to protect ourselves when we get out, the explosions and gunshots are gonna gather walkers from miles away to right here." Natalia said.
Walkers had started gathering around the train cart, as Eugene continued trying to pry the door open, the rest made sure their weapons were useful.
"What's the cure, Eugene?" Sasha asked.
Abraham had told the five the mission of DC when they introduced themselves, Natalia thought it was a load of bullshit, no way a man as important as Eugene was in Houston of all places when the world fell apart, rumours had been spreading for a while before the day.
"It's classified." He responded.
"We don't know what's gonna happen." Michonne brought up.
"You leave him be." Abraham told her.
"We need to keep working."
"Yeah, but it's time to hear it." Sasha continued. "'Cause we don't know what's coming next."
"What's next is we get out of this." Tara said.
"Even if I told you all, even if I provided step-by-step instructions complete with illustrations and a well-composed FAQ and I went red-ring, the cure would still die with me."
"I'm not gonna let that happen." Abraham told him.
"The best case scenario, we step out into a hell storm of bullets, fire and walkers. I'm not fleet of foot. I sure as hell can't take a dead one down with sharp buttons and hella confidence."
"Yeah, but we can and we will." Michonne said.
"I've had less and survived, it's not hard." Natalia said.
"You don't owe us anything, not yet." Sasha stood up. "But we just want to hear it."
"You don't have to." Rosita spoke up.
Eugene stood up, facing the group.
"I was part of a 10-person team at the human genome project to weaponize diseases to fight weaponized diseases. Pathogenic microorganisms with pathogenic microorganisms. Fire with fire. Interdepartmental drinks were had, relationships made, information shared. I am keenly aware of all the details behind fail-safe delivery systems to kill every living person on this planet. I believe with a little tweaking on the terminals in DC, we can flip the script. Take out every last dead one of them. Fire with fire. All things being equal, it does sound pretty badass."
"Or a load of shit." Natalia coughed into her fist, hiding her face in Carls shoulder as he snorted.
"so let's get back to work." Maggie smiled at him.
The door banged, then opened, Rick appeared, holding a gun.
"Come on! Fight to the fence!" He commanded before firing shots and jumping down.
"Do not leave his side!" Abraham demanded.
"Lets go, get to your dad." Natalia told Carl, leading him out.
A walker headed for Natalia, she stabbed her Swiss army knife into its throat, her hand caking in blood as she pushed it up, pulling it back out and letting it fall to the ground, she felt a hand grab her shoulder, she looked over, a metal pole being shoved through the skull of the walker that had grabbed her.
She turned her head, finding Daryl behind her, passing over a long sharp knife, she nodded at him before running forward.
The group fought their way through the walkers.
Natalia watched how a walker headed for Eugene, and how he cowered away instead of taking it down, letting Sasha shoot its brains out.
Rosita was the first person to reach the fence, killing the walker that was on the other side.
"Up and over!"
Rick continued to shoot at walkers as well as Terminus members as the rest climbed over the fence.
"Let's go! Move!" The redhead shouted, helping and pushing everyone over.
They walked through the woods, Daryl tracking their way back to the bag Rick had hidden.
"The hell are we still around here for?" Abraham asked.
"Guns, some supplies." Rick said, digging up the dirt. "Go along the fences. Use the rifles. Take out the rest of 'em."
"What?" Bob asked, stepping towards him.
"They don't get to live." Rick replied.
"Rick, we got out, it's over."
"Yeah, until they come for us, I've seen this film before." Natalia said, bending down to grab her belt, securing it onto her, as well as her guns.
"It's not over till they're all dead." Rick agreed.
"The hell it isn't. That place is on fire." Rosita argued. "Full of walkers."
"I'm not dicking around with this crap." Abraham joined in. "We just made it out."
"The fences are down." Maggie told Rick. "They'll run or die."
Someone slowly walked up behind Rick, holding Daryl's crossbow, Natalia noticed her.
"Carol?" She gasped.
Daryl turned around, his eyes shooting wide as he took in the woman.
He ran to her, hugging her tightly as she hugged him back, he picked her up as she laughed.
The others heading towards her.
Natalia was next to hug her, when Daryl finally stepped away.
"What happened?" Carol asked, her finger softly grazing the woman's cut and bruised face.
"Ran into some bad guys, took care of them." She answered, shrugging her shoulders.
"Did you do that?" Rick stepped towards Carol when Natalia let her go and moved back.
She smiled, nodding slightly.
Rick hugged her tightly.
"You have to come with me." She told him when he pulled away.
The group followed the woman through the woods.
A dogs barking caught Natalia's attention.
"Sully?!"
All of a sudden, a Border Collie was running at her, knocking the woman flat on her back as she pet her dog, crying as she laughed, him licking at her sore face excitedly.
Daryl bent down, petting the dog, picking up the rabbit that he dropped on the floor when he lunged at the woman, his distraction towards Sully gave Natalia a chance to sit up in the dirt.
"You're okay, you're alive, you're alive." She sniffled, as the pair continued to shower the dog in pets and scratches.
"Hey." Daryl gently nudged her, looking ahead.
Tyreese was holding Judith outside a wooden cabin, Rick, Carl and Sasha ran to them, hugging their loved ones.
"Everyone's okay, we're all okay." She looked up at the redneck, smiling wide as tears rolled down her cheeks, happy tears.
He'd never seen her so emotional and soft... he'd seen her angry plenty of times, but it was very rare when she was sappy like this, even at the not-funeral they had outside the morgue, she wasn't like this.
He soaked it up, she was still mad at him, after what they had just gone through, and being reunited with her beloved dog, her walls crumbled down in a moment of weakness, she was safe to go back to resenting him, he knew he deserved it, didn't mean he had to like it.
She kissed Sully's head multiple times as he licked at Daryl, who was still holding the teddy he had picked up from the Big Spot.
"What happened?" Carol asked Tyreese.
"There were a bunch of walkers out here and he got his hands around Judith's neck."
Natalia looked up, taking out a knife as she looked at the cabin, Daryl moved with her.
Carol was the closest, but Tyreese stopped him.
"No, he's dead." Tyreese explained. "I... I had to. So I did. I could."
"Too right, none of those fuckers deserve to live." Natalia spat.
She then walked towards Carl, Michonne and Judith, smiling at the baby as she pet her head, Sully circled his owners legs.
"Hey, pretty girl." She cooed, as Judith made noises in response.
"I don't know If the fire's still burning." Rick said, looking at the big dark cloud coming from Terminus.
"It is." Carol confirmed.
"Yeah. We need to go." He decided.
"Yeah, but where?" Daryl asked him.
"Somewhere far away from there."
They made their way back to the train tracks, walking along it.
Michonne and Natalia walked side by side, behind Judith and Carl, Daryl and Carol were behind the women.
"You found him." Michonne tapped her hand.
"Yeah." She smiled at her friend, patting Sully's head, his tail wagged with his rabbit in his mouth.
They then headed into the woods, on the other side.
The group had been walking until the smoke turned white.
Finally taking a break to get something to eat, and so that some people could rest, going again when the sun rose once more.
The Georgia sun beat down on them as they walked.
Natalia took off her sweatshirt, tying it around her waist, but making sure her weapons were easy to grab.
carol came up beside her, Daryl hot on her trail.
She touched Natalia's shoulder, who was quick to flinch, ducking away before realising who it was.
"Sorry, hey." She smiled at the woman.
"You okay?" Carol asked, noticing her weird behaviour.
"Fine, why?" She asked.
"Your back, you got quite the graze on it."
Natalia looked over her shoulder, not being able to see it, but still tried.
Half of Natalia's back was bloody and grazed, from being thrown on the harsh road, she hadn't even noticed.
"Yeah, it's not bad though, looks worse than how it is." She shrugged, taking down her hair from the braid, letting it cover her back.
"You get that from those bad guys too? Looks painful."
"It's fine, really, don't worry about it." She tried to keep her cool, quickly escaping from the conversation, and weaving through the people, ignoring how the pair continued to watch her with heavy stares, she knew that if Carol wanted to know, Daryl would probably explain what happened, Natalia just couldn't.
She ended back up with Michonne.
They had walked some more.
A female walker struggled towards them.
"I got it." Michonne called, walking towards it.
She reached behind her, before making a realisation as she grinned, raising her gun and whacking the walker onto the floor, stepping on its back and hitting it in the head with the gun.
"Missing it?" Natalia asked as another one appeared. "Dibs." she claimed, walking past Michonne.
She tripped the walker onto its back, stomping on it's head and letting its skull pop, brain matter and blood splattered everywhere.
The others had walked ahead as they watched the pair, but Rosita and Abraham strayed back.
"Keep forgetting it's not there." Michonne replied when they started walking with the group, again.
"Gone, but never forgotten." Natalia put her hands together, raising them above her head as she closed her eyes.
When night fell, they set up camp, starting a fire.
"Where'd you get the dog?" Eugene asked her, staring at Sully, who sat by her side.
"Classified." She repeated his words.
"Whys he called Sully?" Tara asked her. "Like the monster?"
"Exactly." She fed the dog some of her food.
When the new day started, the group continued their walk.
The sound of someone approaching caught their attention, everyone raised their guns.
Daryl stepped out, a rope full of Squirrels was in his hand.
"We surrender." He said to the amount of guns pointed at him.
Sully jogged over, sniffing the dead animals, walking by his side.
Rick whistled after talking to Daryl.
"Keep close." He told the group.
"Ready to keep some concrete under your feet?" Abraham asked him.
"I think it's time." Rick replied.
"That is sweet music to my ears, Officer. Take the next road we come to, try to get back to going north till we find a vehicle. Good?"
"Good."
As they were walking through the woods, Sully began sniffing around, walking off the trail.
"What is it, boy?" Daryl asked.
"Help!" A mans voice shouted. "Help! Anybody help!"
Sully ran for it.
"Sully!" Natalia chased after him.
"Nat! Natalia, Wait!" Rick hissed, but she was already gone.
The man continued to scream as Carl followed, the others went after.
Sully barked as he reached his destination.
Natalia watched as half a dozen of walkers tried to reach a man on top of a rock.
Sullys barking caught their attention, turning away from the man and heading for the dog and Woman.
Natalia took out her knife, taking out the first walker that headed for her.
Carl shot another one, as Natalia delt with the next, soon everyone followed, Michonne smashed the end of her gun into a walker, crushing its head against the rock.
Carol stabbed the last one through the eye.
They looked up at the man quivering on top of the rock.
"We're clear. Keep watch." Rick instructed. "Hey, don't run off like that." He told Natalia.
"Wasn't given a choice." She shrugged.
"Come on down." He turned to the man.
The man slid off the large rock, still shaking as he looked at all the people.
"You okay?"
The man held up a finger, before emptying his stomach.
The group stared at him, unimpressed.
"Sorry." He whispered. "Yes. Thank you. I'm Gabriel."
"Do you have any weapons on you?" Rick asked him.
Gabriel laughed at his question.
"Do I look like I would have any weapons?"
"We don't give two short and curlies what it looks like." Abraham answered.
"I have no weapons of any kind. The word of God is the only protection I need."
"Sure didn't look like it." Daryl mused.
"I called for help. It came."
"It came cause your screaming caught my dogs attention." Natalia said, wrapping her hand around her dogs collar, keeping him still.
He looked around, not knowing what to say.
"Do you have... have any food?" He then asked. "Whatever I- I had left, it just hit the ground."
"We've got some Pecans." Carl offered him.
"Thank you." He took them, smiling at the boy.
Judith began cooing in Tyreese's arms.
"That's a beautiful child." He looked at her.
Rick continued to stare at the man, not bothering to reply.
"Do you have a camp?" He then asked.
"No. Do you?" Rick asked him.
"I have a church."
"Hold your hands above your head."
He did as told, Rick frisked him.
"How many walkers have you killed?"
"Not any, actually."
Natalia couldn't take this man seriously, they had been in this shit for well over a year, how was he still alive?
"Turn around." Rick spun him. "How many people have you killed?"
"None." He responded, as if the question was a joke.
"Why?"
"Because the Lord abhors violence." Gabriel replied.
"What have you done?" Rick whispered, seeing right through the man. "We've all done something."
"I'm a sinner. I sin almost everyday. But those sins, I confess to God, not strangers."
"You said you had a church." Michonne reminded.
He led the way through the woods, the group followed.
"Hey, earlier, were you watching us?" Rick asked.
"I keep to myself. Nowadays, people are just as dangerous as the dead, don't you think?"
"No, people are worse." Rick answered.
"Well, I wasn't watching you. I haven't been beyond the stream near my church more than a few times since it started. That was the furthest I've gone before today. Or maybe I'm lying." He then said. "Maybe I'm lying about everything and there's no church ahead at all. Maybe I'm leading you into a trap so I can steal all your squirrels."
Natalia pulled out her gun, taking it off safety as she aimed it at him, waiting for the signal.
Rick put a hand on the top of her gun, telling her to lower it as the man laughed, slowing down when he realised no one else laughed.
"Members of my flock had often told me that my sense of humour leaves much to be desired." He tried to save himself.
"Yeah, it does." Daryl agreed.
Gabriel turned around, walking into a branch, he lifted it up after getting hit in the face with leaves, ducking under and continuing to lead the group to the church.
They eventually reached their destination, a white church was surrounded by trees, just like he had said.
"Hold up." Rick said, as Gabriel walked towards the door, taking keys out of his pocket to unlock the door. "Can we take a look around first?" He walked towards the father. "We just want to hold onto our squirrels." He put his hand out expectantly for the keys.
Gabriel placed them in his palm, offering a small smile that Rick nor the rest of the group returned.
Rick, Daryl, Natalia, Michonne, Glenn and Carol walked into the church, their weapons all raised as they waited for a signal of danger.
The pews were empty, Michonne and Glenn checked the Sunday school room as well as the bathrooms, finding them empty as well.
"If Jesus died for our sins, then what the fuck is this shit?" Natalia rolled her eyes at the statue of Christ on the cross.
Rick whistled to the small group, signalling that it looked safe enough, they walked outside to report the investigation to the others.
"I spent months here without stepping out the front door." Gabriel told Rick, when he passed back the keys. "If you found someone inside, well, it would have been surprising."
"Thanks for this." Carl smiled at the father.
"We found a short bus out back." Abraham revealed to Rick. "It don't run, but I bet we could fix that in less than a day or two. Father here says he don't want it. Looks like we found ourselves some transport. You understand what's at stake here, right?"
"Yes, I do." Rick replied, running his hand along Judith's hair.
"Now that we can take a breath..." Michonne started.
"We take a breath, we slow down, shit inevitably goes down." Abraham cut her off, still staring at Rick.
"We need supplies no matter what we do next." Michonne told him.
"We have nothing, you understand that right?" Natalia asked the redhead. "We're not doing anything until we get basic needs."
"That's right." Rick agreed with the two women. "Water, food, ammunition."
"Short bus ain't going nowhere." Daryl added as they headed into the church. "Bring you back some baked beans."
"How'd you survive here for so long?" Rick asked Gabriel as everyone got comfortable. "Where did your supplies come from?"
"Luck." He answered.
"Not God?" Natalia remarked.
"Our annual canned food drive." He continued, side eyeing the woman before turning back to Rick. "Things fell apart right after we finished it. It was just me." He looked to his shoes.
"Come here, Judith" Carl whispered to the baby, taking her off their father.
"The food lasted a long time. And then I started scavenging. I've cleaned out every place nearby." Gabriel said. "Except for one."
"What kept you from it?" Rick asked.
"It's overrun."
"How many."
"A dozen or so, maybe more."
Natalia let out a scoff, leaning off of the pew. "Draw me a map?"
"We can handle a dozen." Rick clarified, making sure Natalia knew she wasn't going on her own.
"Bob and I will go with you, Tyreese should stay here, help keep Judith safe." Sasha volunteered.
"That'll be okay?" Rick asked the man, who nodded, smiling.
"Sure." Tyreese answered. "You ever need me to watch her, need anything for her, I'm right here."
"I'm grateful for it." Rick told him. "And everything else."
"You wanna watch Sully for me?" Natalia asked Carl, leaning over the pew he was sitting on, Judith in his arms.
"You even gotta ask?" He replied, smiling at the woman.
Natalia took off the sheriffs hat, kissing him on the top of his head, scruffing his hair up, before kissing Judith's head.
"I'll draw you that map." Gabriel answered Natalia's earlier question.
"You don't need to, you're coming with us."
"I'm not gonna be of any help. You saw me. I'm no good around those things."
"You're gonna learn how, today." Natalia shrugged.
Gabriel led Bob, Rick, Sasha, Natalia and Michonne into the town.
"Hey." Bob approached Rick, walking with him. "When you said they don't get to live, you weren't wrong. We push ourselves and let things go. Then we let some more go and some more. And pretty soon, there's things we can't get back. Things we can't hold onto, even if we tried. Washington's gonna happen, Rick."
"I haven't decided if we're going yet." Rick admitted.
"No, that's cool. But you've seen Abraham in action. He's gonna get there and Eugene's gonna cure all of this. And you're gonna find yourself in a place where it's like how it used to be. And if you've let too much go along the way, that's not gonna work. 'Cause you're gonna be back in the real world."
"This is the real world, Bob."
"Naw. This is a nightmare, and nightmares end. I'm sorry, I'm calling it. Washington's gonna happen. You're gonna say yes. Already too much momentum. You can't fight City Hall. Maybe that's just one of those parts of not letting go."
"How do we know this guy isn't just lying?" Natalia asked.
"You think so?" Bob asked.
"Sounds made up to me." She shrugged. "Too good to be true."
"It wouldn't kill you to have a lil hope." He smiled at her.
She was reminded of Beth, by that sentence.
"That's exactly what'll it do." She muttered, feeling slightly more bitter.
They had arrived at an white building.
"This was the food bank." Gabriel told them, as Natalia read Food Bank, written on a sign on the building. "It served the whole county. All the cans at my church were gonna end up here."
Rick had led the way into the foodbank and thrift store, throwing the door open with his gun eye level, aimed at potential walkers.
Nothing was walking around inside, the place seemed to be empty, until they walked further, the floor had fallen through, leaving a large hole, that must be where they were.
Rick halted, signalling to the others to wait as splashing could be heard from down below.
He walked closer, whilst they stood at the entrance waiting for instruction.
Rick waved his finger in the air, as he peered down at the walkers snarling in the water.
Natalia was the first to move, silently and slowly, Michonne on her tail, than Sasha, Bob, finally Gabriel.
The smell was putrid, burning Natalia's eyes as she watched them roam around, their skin was grey and bloated, and saggy.
"If a sewer could puke, this is what it'd smell like." Bob commented.
Michonne looked up at the ceiling, spotting the missing tiles and holes.
"Waters been coming down that hole for a while now." She said. "Slimed this place up good."
"At least it's already fallen." Natalia mused, being reminded of the incident at the big spot.
"We can use the shelves to block them." Sasha suggested.
"Yeah, that's it, Sasha." Rick agreed. "There's our way, down those shelves."
Natalia grimaced as she prepared herself to drop into the sewer puke, walker slime, water.
"Hey." Rick looked towards Gabriel, who was stood further back. "I said you're coming with us."
Once they were down, Rick and Michonne used the shelves to push against the walkers that headed for them.
"Go! Go!" He shouted as Bob and Sasha grabbed the other one, pushing them together so they could pop them through the barrier. "Here they come. You take right. I see three here."
As they took out the walkers, Gabriel got spooked, pushing Natalia into the shelf as he fought to get away.
"What the hell is he doing?" She groaned, taking out the walker that just attempted to take a bite out of her arm when she caught herself.
He swam towards the steps, jumping on them, causing the old rotting wood to collapse as he wailed and splashed around.
He managed to pull himself up, holding onto the wall.
"We have to get Gabriel." Rick said, moving towards the father, watching him carefully.
"What happened?" Bob asked.
"I don't know."
"He almost just killed me, completely freaked the fuck out." Natalia answered bitterly.
"All right, we'll push down the shelves on the ones in front of us. We'll fight through and I'll grab him." Rick instructed, as they pushed against the metal. They did as he said, the walkers being pushed below as they climbed through, keeping an eye out in case the walkers jumped up from the water.
Michonne stabbed a walker in the neck, it's skin was inflated, following down onto his chest, she struggled as he continued to come at her.
Natalia reached out, plunging her knife into the top of his head, helping her friend as Michonne threw its dead body into the water.
They seemed to take out all of them, Rick dealing with the last one, an elderly woman, wearing glasses, her hair was still tied back, she had been heading for Gabriel, but Rick intervened, grabbing her and smashing her face into the metal pole, breaking the structure, her skin falling off and into the water.
Bob headed towards the boxes full off food.
"Yeah." He grinned. "I know which way it's gonna break." As he reached for the green box, a hand came out of the water, getting a hold of the man and pulling him under.
"Bob!" Sasha screamed, going over to help as he came back up, a walker in his hold, trying to fight for a piece of him, most of it's skin was gone, he looked like a walking skeleton.
Bob pushed it onto a metal pole whilst Sasha used the metal box to smash against it's head, finally putting it down.
"You okay, Bob, you okay?" She whispered, making sure he was alright.
"I'm fine now." He told her.
"Then let's get this shit and get the hell out of here." Natalia told the group, flicking a piece of rotting walker skin off of her chest.
They had used trolleys to carry the Boxes and bags full off food back to the church, Natalia had snagged a long over-sized brown jacket, wearing it over her wet clothes, as they made their way back.
"I'm sorry." Gabriel apologised to Rick, as he wiped sweat off his brow. "I- I panicked. I told you I..."
"You knew her when she was alive?" Rick asked him.
Gabriel didn't answer, instead looking down as they continued to walk.
"Yeah, I get it. You only tell your sins to God. But you nearly kill one of my people again, He won't help you." Rick told him, looking over his shoulder at Natalia, who was talking to Michonne, before he pushed forward, walking away from Gabriel.
"Do you miss the sword?" Rick asked Michonne, him, her and Natalia walked at the front, pushing the biggest trolly through the tree's, whilst Gabriel and Bob struggled with the second one, Sasha stayed armed, keeping her eye out for walkers.
"Wasn't really mine in the first place." Michonne revealed. "Found it. In the very beginning."
"How'd you get so good?"
"It was just me and them out here, all day, every day, a good long time. I don't know what that was, but it wasn't a life. Not like today. Stumbling around in three feet of slime, for some peas and carrots, that's living."
"I will throw up on you, stop reminding me." Natalia shivered, breathing through her mouth.

"we brought dinner." daryl spoke, holding the raccoon up when the gate opened.
"they're okay, they're okay." aaron assured the guy on guard duty when he and eric entered, your group all held their guns by their side.
you smiled warmly at the man when his gaze landed on you, ready to make a good impression and give this place a chance, for judith and all of you.
he then looked back at aaron and the rest of your group walked in, you almost felt embarrassed with the clothes you had on, dirty hospital scrubs.
it was rather dirty and older compared to their clean clothes, you have tried everything to find other clothes but your group's luck and hope ran out ever since beth and tyreese died, you all didn't even get lucky with the village you all checked out.
just as the gate was about to close there was a walker, groaning and trying to get to them. rick nodded at sasha and she raised her sniper, shooting the walker.
"you all should probably talk to deanna first." aaron said as they looked around them in awe, how could something like this place still stand?
"but before that, give up your guns. you stay, you give us your guns." the smug looking guy said, you looked at rick for his reaction.
"we don't even know if we want to stay." rick growled, the smug guy shrugged and aaron frowned at him. he assured rick and the group.
"it's just a precaution, if you want to stay though, you can get your guns back when you go outside the walls." he quickly said and explained.
rick nodded and the group lined up, placing their guns on the cart carefully, some sending a glare on the alexandrians.
"you'll talk to deanna first, then i can show you your houses." aaron said casually, your mouth was gaped open.
"as in plural? you're really giving us houses, for free?" you said at him in disbelief, a few of your group members chuckling at you.
"it isn't the same world anymore, where you have to pay for a piece of shit of a land, and pay more to construct a house." daryl frowned, remembering something.
how he worked his ass off on his work to pay rent and getting paid low, not even enough to save up for a piece of land.
"okay." you said, shrugging as you watched rick go into deanna's house.
"what do you think she'll ask? like do you have a husband, a daughter, or an affair or something?" you blabber to the ear next to you, not realizing it's daryl as you stared at the house, as if waiting for rick to come out crying.
when someone grunted, you turned to see daryl drowning, as usual.
"okay, fine. be that way." you pouted at him and turned away from him, when rick came out, abraham, glenn, noah, rosita and others went next.
all of you was done by the time the sun was almost going down but still blazing hot.
basically deanna just asked you about how you survived outside the walls, what you did to survive, and she bragged about being a political. you tuned her out for most of that.
"we're going to stay in the house together for tonight, rick said." you told daryl who was at the porch and staring into nothing.
"‘m coming in a few minutes." he spoke and you nodded entering the house, you saw rick come out of the hallway and you were shocked.
"oh my— is that you, rick?!" you teased him, he smiled at you warmly.
"shower's free. there's a few clothes for you on the counter by a folk here." rick said as he turned to michonne to watch her reaction.
you snickered at him, he was like a school boy all over again. like getting a haircut and seeing if your crush liked it.
you showered quickly and changed into a pair of pink pajamas. "shower and brushing is refreshing." you sighed as you stretched onto the mattress.
"oh my goodness, for the couples here tonight, please refrain yourselves from like you know..." you teased the couples, most likely rosita and abraham.
abraham smirked at you, "why don't you explore here, go and find someone to bump uglies with." he laughed followed by a few others.
you didn't notice the way daryl rolled his eyes from the corner, an angry expression on his face.
"maybe, i will. once we get settled in here nicely, when we don't have to worry about things anymore... i actually want to find someone to be with me for the rest of my life." you whispered to abraham as a few others engaged into a conversation themselves.
"i hope you find that, little one." he smiled at you like a big brother would, and patted your hair.
"deanna's hosting a party?" rosita asked where you, rosita, maggie, tara, sasha and michonne sat around in the living room.
"yeah, she said tonight." tara nodded, you six had nothing to do as the other went on to explore outside.
"they really don't know anything about what's outside these walls... if they still can think about hosting parties." you sighed.
"deanna said that this place was right from the start, they just built up those walls for protection." michonne shrugged, drinking her coffee.
"they're spoiled, never really knowing how to fight." maggie agreed, it was like a normal morning again... chatting with your friends with no worries about what might happen later.
"well, if she's hosting a party... let's find clothes to wear and might just enjoy the liquors there." sasha raised her brows up and down, suggestively.
you all chuckled and agreed with her, promising each other to go together in the garage where almost hundreds of free clothes were.
you parted from them and went to find daryl, if it wasn't that obvious, you like him, deeply.
you always went to find reasons to be near him but as far as you know, daryl didn't care about you. almost hating your presence whenever you volunteered to go with him on dry runs.
you have tried everything to get closer to him but he always seemed to find a way to push you away. he ignores you most of the time, says harsh words, avoid you completely.
but even though he's like that, you never gave up, always comforting him when you noticed he was down.
you still pursued your feelings for him after all these years, thinking that you might have a chance with someone like him.
how can you not like him? he was selfless, he was kind, he was caring, he cares for judith like he was her uncle, and most of all, he loves.
it might not be that obvious but you know that he loves, so that's why you hoped that he will love you too, not like a friend, but more than that.
but being here made you realize a few things, daryl is never the type of guy to settle down for relationships, even before the end of the world, as merle said.
daryl has priorities and being in a relationship like you wanted was never one of them, he was a guy who never believed in love.
daryl is an emotionally unavailable man, he was all about surviving, so you know he never will have time for shitty relationships, as he said when you asked him one day.
"d–do you ever want to be in a relationship? when we find a safe place?" you asked him as you stared into the fire, you and him were guarding camp and the rest were asleep.
"don't have time f' shitty relations'." he grunted, and you know that was the end of the conversation.
you both were the total opposite, and you know total opposites never work.
he was shy, you weren't, you were talkative, he wasn't, he doesn't love to express his emotions, you do. and there was so much more to it.
just thinking about all of it makes your heart break, maybe it was really time to move on from him, you never even had a chance in the first place.
now that you were in a safe place with the group you considered your family, you were happy.
the group was happy, mostly, rick and daryl still didn't trust this place for a bit.
but you know that someday they will when they had a chance to see the potentials of this neighborhood.
"you're going to move on from him, starting tonight, at the party." you whispered to yourself as you found yourself staring at him, sitting at the porch.
"hey, daryl!" you waved at him, you were shocked how you felt that your heart wasn't going to jump out of your chest anymore, unlike before.
maybe you really were starting to move on.
"deanna has a party, are you coming?" you asked him, squinting your eyes as the sun glared at you from above.
"the rest of the group is coming..." you quickly added as he wore his angry face.
"don't have time f' parties, all you ever do is party. what about waking up, huh? you're back in yer' own lil' world, caring all about drinking."
he spoke long, you can feel your heartstrings breaking. of course, he still remembers.
you, him, and beth escaped the prison together, when you were by the fire, eating snake... you missed everyone, you can't think about anything else so you want to forget.
so you suggested to go find liquors, but daryl didn't respond and beth seemed to realize something, you had a tantrum and left them there, beth following you after cursing daryl for making you upset.
beth was a curious young girl, only a two year or four year gap between you, so she asked why you still want to drink after all that's happened. so you happily explained how the drink makes you forget all the pain and memories, at least just for a while. you both spent days and nights being brats to daryl.
so you, beth, and daryl found a golf club where you and beth tried to find any alcohol, only finding peach schnapps. you immediately declined it.
and daryl had a rampage, throwing the bottle away and leading you and beth to a cabin, full of moonshine.
then it all went downhill there, you guys drank and after, you burned the house down and daryl taught beth how to hunt.
you all found a parlor home and went to stay there but it got attacked by a small herd and daryl told you and beth to wait for him by the road, where you got taken.
you both woke up in a hospital, then worked there. then the group came for you after a week or two. dawn never had the intention of letting you go so she grabbed beth and carol.
then that's where it happened, dawn died... along with beth. you went out of your room and instantly ran to the group.
"okay... but you don't have to be an asshole in everything, i miss her too and i regret that i wasn't even able to save her!you think it's just you? well sorry to disappoint you i was there too!" you said and walked away from the house, tears brimming your eyes when you remembered beth.
he didn't have to be a super asshole about it, he could've just declined you nicely and you wouldn't have to be remembered of beth.
the party only didn't mean alcohol... your group might meet new people, and neighbors, that's if rick decided to settle down here.
"hey, maggie. you're more beautiful tonight!" you complimented her as glenn has his arms around maggie's waist.
"hey, abe, watch rosita tonight, men are eyeing her." you warned him with a smile as you walked further into the party.
you were still upset at daryl but you didn't let it ruin your mood tonight, you greeted a few people from alexandria before walking towards the rest of your group.
"hi, you're all so handsome and beautiful tonight." you hugged them and kissed their cheeks.
"where's robin hood?" carol asked, her gaze around the party, trying to find the redneck.
"he didn't want to come..." you explained.
"well, you go enjoy the party, honey. me and rick just have something to discuss." she told you like a mother would, making you smile.
"okay, carol." you smiled and walked away from them, grabbing yourself a glass of juice when you walked by the table. you felt a presence beside you but ignored them.
"hi, i'm lance." a voice beside you spoke, you turned and smiled at the charming man.
"hi..." you greeted and said your name. he held out his hands for you to shake and you shook it.
there wasn't any spark or whatsoever that you felt with daryl when you held his hands when there were times you were scared, and he let you.
"you wanna get out of here? you know for fresh air, it's too stuffy here." he chuckled and you nodded quickly, you felt suffocated inside deanna's home.
he held your wrist softly as he guided you out of the house, you both arrived at the porch as fresh air quickly surrounded you.
"i hate parties, but at least it's a reminder of what the world used to be, right?" you asked him as you walked with him at the sidewalk, side by side.
"yeah, i arrived here three months ago. and they really don't know what they're doing out there." he agreed.
"a–are you like looking past friendship?" you whispered at him shyly, because you weren't. you were still moving on from daryl and you didn't want to use him.
he shakes his head and laughed. "god, no. i'm gay, but it's not obvious as i'm hiding it from deanna." he said.
"you don't have to hide it, no one will hate you for who you are. it's a new world." you assured him, placing a hand on his biceps.
"thankfully you don't want to, because i'm still hung up on a boy i liked." you chuckled bitterly.
"he's a dick if he doesn't see who you are, i've just been with you for like five minutes and i can see how sweet you are in an instant, it's his fault for not seeing it." he spoke.
"but seriously, you don't have to hide... look at eric and aaron for example." you told him, you leaned in to hug him.
someone cleared their throat and you quickly turned your head to the side in nervousness.
"d-daryl." you said and quickly dropped your hands to the side, he took long strides toward you and grabbed your wrists tightly and dragged you with him.
"w–wait! i'm sorry, lance!" you shouted at the man who chuckled and waved his hands.
he dragged you into rick's house and into his basement room.
"w–what's wrong with you?!" you shout at him in confusion, along with frustration.
"what's wrong with m'? what's wrong with ye'?!" he asked as he let go of you.
"why are you turning the question? i was having a conversation and you dragged me away!" you scolded him.
"you shouldn't be talking to some guy! you trust too easy!" he taught you, something you knew already.
"he's a nice guy." you spoke softer, mistaking his intentions of dragging you away, you thought that he was just worried about you.
"yer' mine, got it? don't care if he's nice." he suddenly mumbled lowly.
"w-what?" you asked, confused. how can he just claim you like that?! you can feel your heart beating so fast it might get out of its cage.
he didn't speak and kissed you roughly, you froze and felt sparks flew to you, you can feel the heat in you.
you gasped and opened your mouth to protest but he used that to enter his tongue in your mouth.
he pulled away, "dar—" you tried to speak but he kissed you again, shutting you up.
you can't help but moan when he squeezed your breast, arching your back, and your head back.
"ahm– da–daryl..." you groaned as he began attacking your neck, your one hand was placed on the bed to support your weight as the other was on his hair.
your grip tightened on his hair as he sucked on your sweet spot making him groan.
"need you, sweetheart." daryl said as he pulled away, you looked into his eyes and saw it full of desire and love.
you nodded and tried to pull off your shirt, when you can't do it, out of nervousness, daryl helped you.
he took in the sight of you in a pink lace bra as he bit his lips, making you squirm and feel even more hot, if that was possible.
he suddenly attacked the top of your breasts as his hands went around you, unclipping your bra and taking it off of you.
"fuck, baby. this just for m'?" he asked and you nodded as you bit your lip, he took one in his hands while he placed another in his mouth.
"daryl..." you moaned as he massaged the other and sucked on the other one.
your hands found their way in your jeans, but due to its rough fabric you can't get friction.
you unclipped your jeans and tugged on them, to pull them down, daryl's other hand helping you as he guided your back to the mattress.
he pulled away from your breasts making you whine, "needy, huh?" he asked as he slipped the jeans of your feet.
he almost wants to take a shot of your body, nearly naked and out of breath, hair out of place.
he started unbuttoning his shirt as she sat up and helped him, almost needy to take the shirt off of him.
he let you do the work and after it was all unbuttoned, you stood up to slip it off his torso.
he sat on the bed as you stayed standing, he tugged on his belt and gestured it to you.
you tilted your head in confusion, before he pointed to his noticeable large bulge, making you nod in embarrassment.
you kneeled in front of him, between his legs as you looked up at him, he nodded at you, encouraging you.
you slowly took off his belt and unbuttoned his jeans, pulling down the zipper as you tugged on it, he raised his hips as you pulled it down, along with his underwear.
your mouth parted in shock as you gulped, looking at him, he looked right back at you with lust.
"h-how's that gonna fit? i-it's so big..." you shyly said as you let your gaze drift down to his cock again.
it stood proudly, the tip touching his stomach, the veins in it noticeable, you also noted of his angry red tip.
"it will fit, you will figure it out, baby girl... daddy will take care of you later, okay?" he spoke in a gentle voice, making you nod.
you were determined to fit him on your mouth and cunt, even if it will squeeze him tightly.
you kitten licked his tip, almost looking like it was to taste the pre-cum dripping down.
you felt foreign to the salty flavor but licked him again making him groan in pleasure.
if he was making that reaction it might feel good for him, and you wanted to make him feel good tonight.
you entered the tip of his angry cock in your mouth, slowly. you took more of him until he reached the back of your throat, and it was hardly half of him.
you placed your hand on his thigh and the other on his stomach, pressing it down.
you raised him out of your mouth then took him again, you looked up at him through your eyelashes as he continued moaning in pleasure. it makes you wet as his voice and moans vibrate.
you moved your mouth up and down faster, each hitting the back of your throat each time making you gag and teary.
he held a good amount of your hair and helped your head in and out of his cock.
"that's it, sweetheart..." he moaned as he moved your head faster, through your hair.
"augh– augh." you gagged again as his tip hit the back of your throat hardly.
"fuck, baby girl... yer' mouth 's so fucking warm, daddy might fuck this mouth f' day to night..." he cursed as he moaned, nearing his release.
you were so turned on by his moans and the things he was saying to you that you pressed your hands harder where they are.
"fuck, baby... 'm near... jus' keep goin'..." he encouraged you, you removed your hands off him.
you placed your hands on the remainder of his cock that your mouth can't take and synchronized it to the rhythm of your mouth.
he was so long and thick that even though it was your mouth and two hands wrapped around him there was still a part uncovered.
how does he hide this monstrous cock in his jeans? it was so long and thick you know it might not even fit you.
he moaned non-stop and then you felt his cum rushing down your throat.
he came in your mouth as he tried to catch his breath, you waited for his cum to stop releasing then pulled him out of your mouth, swallowing his semen.
you wiped the liquid that went down your chin, he looked like he was so proud of you and that made you so happy.
his thumb found its way in your lips, "show m', baby. ye' took it all, hm?"
you nodded eagerly, you opened your mouth and held your tongue out as he examined your mouth.
he nodded proudly and kissed your forehead. "good girl, daddy's proud of you..." he praised you, you whimpered at his words, making him smile.
"i-i need you in me, daddy..." you pleaded with him as if your life depended on it.
"so eager fer m', huh?" he laughed, and you nodded desperately. you couldn't stand the aching heat in your core anymore.
"p–please..." you whispered as you reached out for his cock, he stepped back with a smile making you whine.
"don't be a brat, baby girl... daddy will give it to ya. just wait, 'lright?" he whispered in your ear, you nodded.
"okay..." you plastered on a smile at him as he grabbed you by the waist, grabbing you by the waist and pushing you to the bed, gently.
"you ready fer daddy, baby?" he asked you as he teasingly rubbed his tip at your aching core, covered in your cotton panties.
"s–so ready, daddy..." you moaned at the sensation of something making contact with your clit.
it was a sight to see, your cotton underwear soaked wet with your slick.
his fingers found their way on the hem of your underwear, he slowly took it off, groaning as he saw your wet cunt.
it was pinkish, and puffy and very visibly wet. you felt shy and tried to close your thighs but he held out his hands to stop them.
"nuh–uh, baby girl... daddy wants to see his baby's pussy, okay?" he talked to you, softly.
"yes, daddy." you moaned and tried to raise your hips to feel his tips, but his hands moved your waist down, stopping you.
"daddy's goin' in, baby..." he said.
you felt his tip making contact with your aching core, you hissed in pain as he slowly entered.
"ye okay, sweetheart?" he asked as he pushed another inch into you, he waited for you to respond.
"y-yes, dare... keep going, i–i'm fine." you closed your eyes in the hope of making the pain disappear.
"fuck, baby girl. you're so tight around me..." he also hissed but in pleasure.
he pushed an inch every other minute as he patiently waited for you to adjust to his length.
he furrowed his eyebrows in worry at you as he saw a tear slipped down your cheeks.
"we don't have to do this, sweetheart..." he assured you as he went to pull back but you held his wrist and shook your head as a no.
"i-it's okay..." you nodded at him, and he sighed before kissing you and asking you to take deep breaths.
"jus' focus on me, darling..." he told you and you nodded, you didn't know it would feel this painful.
he pushed the rest of him into you, making you gasp in pain. he did it at one swift move.
you can feel yourself stretched more than ever, you can feel yourself around him, you felt so full.
almost complete, like he was the only one who was supposed to be inside of you.
like his monstrous cock was made for you, and you only. you closed your eyes as you took deep breaths.
"w–why did you do that?!" you hissed at him as you hit his biceps.
he looked guilty and sorry, "sorry, baby... it's better this way, one instant pain, get it?" he kissed your tears and held your chins in his hand.
you nodded in understanding, and he waited for you to adjust to him completely.
you nodded at him as a signal to start moving, he grinned and kissed your forehead.
he pulled out slowly before going back in, then out then in again. you felt a slight pain but it disappeared as he thrusted in again.
the pure pain changed into a mixture of pure pleasure, you held onto his shoulders and biceps, burrying your face into his neck as you moaned.
"daryl... oh goodness!" you whimpered as he thrust into you faster when he noticed you felt pleasure instead of pain.
"fuck, baby... you feel s'good around m'cock... yer' cunt was made fer me." he groaned as if reading your mind just moments ago.
you wrapped your legs around his waist to bury his cock deeper into you.
every time he thrust his tip hit your g-spot making you moan again and again, you don't even know if you will still be able to speak tomorrow.
he kissed your neck as your hands tugged on his hair and gripped his biceps tightly.
"moan fer daddy, baby." he whispered against your neck making you shiver.
"d–daddy... faster!" you moaned and held onto him tightly, you begged him to go faster and he happily obliged.
"you want daddy to fuck a baby into ya? so you can't talk to any other guy? huh?" he roughly asked.
you nodded, "p–please daddy..." you begged him as he grinned.
"please what?" he teased as he slowed his pace making you whine.
"please, daddy. fill your babies in me..." you said out of pure pleasure and desire to come.
"i will, sweetheart... i will make you carry daddy's babies." he roughly talked to you.
"i-i'm nearing!" you moaned at his ear again and again as he felt you clench around him.
you closed your eyes in pleasure as it felt heavenly... you felt so good.
"not yet, baby, not until daddy says so. you don't want to upset daddy, right?" he asked you.
you shook your head with a whimper, "n–no, daddy... i'm sorry." you apologized.
"good girl." he praised you making you clench your walls around him tighter than ever.
all he felt was pure bliss, he can hardly move in your tightness against him, and it felt so good.
"please, daddy. let me come..." you moaned as you kissed him, he moved his lips into you roughly, his beard tickling you.
"wait for daddy, i'm almost near..." he threw back, you nodded and bit your lip, you can't wait anymore.
you need to come now, but you didn't want to upset him so you held yourself from cumming.
he thrusted faster, obviously nearing too. the sounds of skin slapping together along with moans and grunts was all the room was filled with.
his balls hit your ass every time he thrust and that's where you always knew he was deep into you, he always hit into your g-spot.
"cum with daddy, baby." he growled into your ear, his movements going fast.
you let out a loud pornographic moan as you came, panting as he thrust into you.
he slowed and you can feel the liquid inside you, his cum to be precise. he came inside you.
he pulled out slowly and dropped beside you, you both were breathless, trying to catch your breaths.
"t–that was my first time, thank you..." you shyly thanked him as it felt good, you'd rather it be him than anyone else.
"really, sweetheart? yer a virgin?" he teased making you shyly nod, he stood up from the bed and went to another room then came out with a white towel.
he pressed the towel into your cunt softly as he wiped your cum and his cum that was leaking out.
"you were so good fer daddy, baby. 'm proud." he admitted and patted your head as he placed the towel away, dressing you into another clean shirt of him and put you on your underwear, he also wore his underwear and got under the covers.
also covering you with it, you laid your head against his head.
you looked up at him and pressed a kiss on his jaw as you closed your eyes.
"sleep tight, baby." he ran his fingers through your wavy blonde hair as he pressed a kiss onto your head.
he never have felt so lucky before until now, he finally had you, and he was your first time.
he was for sure jealous earlier but the best thing ever came after it.
you and him, made love, fucked, had sex, or whatever you called it.
for him it was love, he had developed feelings for you back at the prison, the first time your group found the prison.
but as a dixon he always rejected it, pushing it deep down him and not acknowledging it.
but seeing you with that man and you angry at him, fueled something into him and it lead to this.
the only one great thing he could ask for besides safety, he was happy he found you through this world.
he loves you and adores you.

Teen spirit
Pairing: Carl Grimes × reader, Maggie Greene × sister reader
Warnings: Swearing
Chapter: 5.05
Your eyes sting as more tears fall from them. You wipe them away with the back of your hand, then pull your knees up to your chest. You let out a shaky breath. Three weeks had passed since Beth died in Atlanta, and since then the group had tragically lost another member, Tyreese. He died when part of the group split off to see if Noah’s hometown of Shirewilt was liveable, and now your group was heading in the direction of DC.
The town was unlivable and full of nothing but rotten corpses.
Most of the group of survivors you were part of were sitting in the middle of the road, but a few of you had gone off to try and search for water and food in the woods. Since your group had hardly any left, everyone was becoming dangerously dehydrated. The group's mood was at an all-time low, and you had barely spoken in three weeks, only when necessary.
You jump, feeling a hand on your shoulder. “Hey, hey, it’s just me,” Daryl says. “I just wanted to make sure you ate something.”
If you weren’t still in so much pain from grieving, you would have found the humor in Daryl offering you a handful of worms as a meal. A few years ago, you would have run away screaming if a bug even touched your skin, and now you were getting ready to eat the slimy insects without a second thought. You let him place a few worms in your hand. “Thanks.”
“Beth, never shut up about you.”
You say nothing, and you continue to eat in silence.
—
When you returned to meet up with the others along with Daryl, you found out that someone had left bottles of water further up the road with a note saying ‘from a friend’ but nobody drank out of the bottles in case they were poisoned.
You scrunch your nose up at the smell of burning food. Four hungry dogs had run out from the tree line and onto the road, but before they could attack or run away, Sasha shot all of them, which resulted in the animals being skinned and cooked as a meal. Everyone ate aside from you and Noah.
Noah seemed to be too consumed by guilt to eat, and the thought of eating your favorite animal turned your stomach.
You sit the furthest away from the group by yourself until Carl sits down beside you on a dry patch of grass. He nudges your knee with his elbow. “Hey, I got something for you.”
You look at him through tired eyes and say, “Yeah?”
Carl pulls two bracelets made of yarn out of his pocket; they were covered in dirt, but you could still make out the bracelets were a mixture of blue and purple. “I found these while looking for water in abandoned cars a few days ago; I was just waiting for the best time to give it to you. I remember you saying, you used to make friendship bracelets with your mom for the church fundraiser.”
Your eyes become glossy at the memory of sitting on your bedroom floor hours after your bedtime, making them with brightly colored threads and sparkly beads. You hold the wrist out, and Carl puts the bracelet on before tying the ends into tight knots. “They are really pretty,” you say quietly. “Thank you.”
Once yours is securely on, Carl holds up his wrist for you to do the same. “No matter where we end up or how alone we feel, we can just look at these and remember that we will always have someone who has our back.”
For the first time in weeks, you smile.
—
Noticing Daryl going off on his own again, you get to your feet and follow him into the woods, being careful not to step on any of the skeletons on the forest floor. Suddenly he stops walking and says, “Not now, kid, I don’t want to talk about it.”
“I know.”
Beth’s death hadn’t just taken a toll on you and Maggie; everyone else in the group who knew her felt her death too, just in different ways. You walk up behind Daryl and wrap your arms around his waist. At first, you think he’s going to shove you off, but he places his hands on top of yours. Daryl was tough, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t fragile like the rest of you.
“When we... after the prison... I’m glad Beth was with you.”
Despite his best efforts to hold it together, a heartbroken sob passes his lips.
You stay like that until you feel the first drop of rain hitting your skin. You let go of Daryl and ran back to the highway. Empty bottles were being placed down to collect the rainwater.
A sense of relief hit you; everyone aside from Maggie and Sasha looked happy. You smile watching as Carl takes off his hat and uses it to shield Judith from the rain; she was crying because her clothes had gotten soaked.
Hearing a loud crackle in the sky, you look up and notice the oncoming storm. “Oh shit.”
Daryl points back the way and says, “I saw a barn; let’s go.”
—
Once the barn was cleared by Rick, Michonne, and Maggie, they gave the rest of you the go-ahead to go in. It didn’t take long for a small to be made and any supplies sought out.
“Hey!” Maggie comes over to you, tucking stands of damp hair behind your ear. “It’s been tough, but we’ve made it this far.”
“I know.”
She kisses the crown of your bed and says, “Try and get some sleep.”
It doesn’t take you long to fall asleep. You and Carl chose to sleep on top of some hay, with Judith safely nestled between you. Most of the adults sit around the fire till late into the night until they fall asleep one by one.
Feeling a chill If you sit upright, it takes your eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness. Everyone else was asleep aside from Judith, who was wiggling on her back. You make sure she’s tucked up close enough to her brother that she won’t roll away and get hurt.
You approach the barn doors held together by a metal chain. You weren’t surprised it was cold with the rain still lashing down. You step closer to the doors to look out and see what damage the heavy rainfall caused, and between the flashes of lighting, you see walkers coming your way.
Stumbling back, you struggled to form a sentence but managed to scream one word, “Rick!”
When the barn door starts to move, you press yourself against it. Seconds later, Daryl is beside you, then Maggie, then Rick. Soon everyone was pushing their full body weight against the doors, waiting for the storm to pass.
