So I have a bit of a think piece…

So this collections is epic right? Lewis brand +44 and in collaboration with GOLF Tyler the creator! It’s pricey but the bomber is worth it I think if you’re a street wear or just Lewis fan! But what rubs me the wrong way is this man uses the paddock as a fashion runway and he’s not even wearing it in Vegas when he has a pop up! He’s in his Tommy Hilfiger (which fine is the team sponsor) but I’m pretty sure he was in Dior the day before. He’s only promoted the collection with this post whereas Daniel who also has a Vegas pop up may not be in Vegas but is wearing his merch to all the sports games he’s going to gaining exposure and is posting it non stop!! We see the same thing with Lando (Quadant), Valtteri and he’s releases and even Alex with AA23.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lewis even wear +44 other than from the shoots for marketing of his merch which actually irks me. I get he doesn’t need to because he’s Lewis Hamilton but if you make a merch line that’s not just merch but street wear and you embrace fashion and you have the platform that you do have and use it to promote all this high end brands in your everyday life then why not wear it and be proud of it?

I don’t know it just has me thinking a lot. Like clearly he doesn’t need the additional money so whats the meaning to it all? Is it just for the fans? Because I know they’d and the world would go crazy and be like what’s that if he wore it to the paddock.
