I wanted to create some art to use as a header for my FFXIV tumblr, and that's what I did today while clumsily trying to imitate Amano's art for the Final Fantasy logos. OwO
Got it up over hereeee tooooo

Diary of Two Awamori Entry 02:
While traveling in Gridania today, there laid an unconscious, seemingly dead man beside the Central Shroud's Aetheryte. I attempted to raise him twice - one hour prior to this photo, and then once again moments before this photo.
Mayhaps my friend Noa struck him earlier in the day with her car.
The world may never know what happened, nor what became of him.

Diary of Two Awamori Entry 06:
After several days of venturing through dungeons, assaulting primals, and charging through the Crystal Tower with group after group, I have finally reached the point where I can take on the level 60 job quest for the machinist and see what lies beyond the murder passing of the Holy See of Ishgard.
The grueling, slow march had finally come to an end.
So I stepped into the Skysteel Manufactory to speak with Stephanivien.
As for the job quest itself, it was strangely...mundane? It only warranted venturing into the Sea of Clouds to find some lightning crystals for the man.
It was a trip well worth my time though, as I also managed to secure the final Aether current to allow me to soar through the air there. Now all of Ishgard and its surrounding lands are willing to let me fly through them, and I appreciate how much this will speed up my errands there.
That boon from the Aether current also let me gather up those lightning crystals, and I was very surprised to see that...that was all that was needed to finish the quest.
So I delivered the crystals to Stephanivien.
And that...was it. That was the end of the quest.
How odd. How could that be?
Why would it be so anticlimactic? Not that I was complaining, it would let me resume tending to the matters Alphinaud and Tataru need me to, but...
Ah.
I noticed. There was yet another quest?
I soon realized I was not paying attention to the levels of these quests.
I am a fool.

Diary of Two Awamori Entry 05: Costa del Sol Vacation
It has been X number of days since my adventuring companion Noa has left on a journey for the month.
In this time, I've taken the opportunity to relax in Costa del Sol, in order to see what enrichment I can find in moments of solitude.
During the moments where the beach resort isn't drowned by the rains, it is a pleasant place, especially when the sun is beginning to rise.
...or was it when the sun is starting to set? I can't remember when this photo was taken.
Regardless: The scenery of Costa del Sol is wonderful, but the tropical fruits and the foods available are equally enjoyable.
Most who visit here are probably just around for the food and the sights, but I know that if you venture away from the tourist trap centered around the Aetheryte, there are much grander, larger treasures to behold.
THAT'S RIGHT, BABY, THEY HAVE GIANT CRABS HERE
YOU CAN'T GET THAT ANYWHERE ELSE.
True, they may be something of a menace if left unchecked, especially because they're a literal walk away from the central hub of Costa del Sol, but...
That's a problem for someone else to handle.
I'm here to relax. ♡

Diary of Two Awamori Entry 04:
While running errands in Ishgard, I walked past Tataru in The Forgotten Knight and noticed she was dressed differently than normal.
I took notice of it and carried on. Maybe she was just helping out at the inn.
Later on, I passed through The Forgotten Knight once more and noticed that once again, Tataru was dressed in new clothes.
...she looks prepared to do some baking, but...does The Forgotten Knight offer baked goods?

Diary of Two Awamori Entry 03: The man pictured in the photo above is named...Begter.
Begter is part of my squadron that operates out of Gridania, under the ever-watchful, deceitful eye of the Twin Adders.
I respect most of the recruits to my squadron, but I do not respect Begter.
For Begter, you see, enlisted in my squadron seemingly because he was impressed at how much I was whittling my time away in the Gold Saucer on trivial, low-skill games like Crystal Tower Striker.
Someone who enlists in my squadron for such petty reasons must certainly have ulterior motives.

Diary of Two Awamori
Entry 01:
Why do I dance in front of Kan-E-Senna, at the Lotus Stand of all places?
Why, it is simply because I disrespect Gridania.
The Twin Adders have long menaced me with their trade of..."Serpent Seals," a fictional, nonsense currency by which I am able to redeem various knick-knacks, all for various efforts I have made. I risk life and limb, and the Twin Adders reward me with naught but Serpent Seals.
Not gil. Serpent Seals.
I distrust them.
The Twin Adders are clearly running some kind of forest scam, and their Serpent Seals serve as the fraudulent, Eorzean cryptocurrency laying at the center of their schemes.
Maybe Kan-E-Senna is actually innocent and entirely unawares of the situation, and the Twin Adders are running this Serpent Seal operation right under her nose.
Who knows.
It is a mystery.
