Mateo Caldera is sixteen years old and has spent the last ten years studying to prepare for the Twisted Metal competition.

By hand, he has created weapons, studied many tips and tricks to become faster by the wheel, and practiced hitting the target, whether by foot or by machine. He will forever be haunted by the countless hours that he spent searching up the deadly competition behind his loved ones' backs. In spite of this, he is confident that if he has his wish, he will be able to fix everything that has led to him being who he is today.
