EDRED X READER: CINDER-Y/N

The Storybook had opened by itself, which was Labeled Cinder-Y/N. ''Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a tiny kingdom; peaceful, prosperous, and rich in romance and tradition in the north. Here in a stately chateau, there lived a widowed gentleman, and his little daughter, Cinder-Y/N. Although he was a kind and devoted father, and gave his beloved child every luxury and comfort, still, he felt she needed a mother's care.'' ''And so he married again, choosing for his second wife, a woman of good family, with two daughters just Cinder-Y/N's age, by name, Annie and Penny. It was upon the untimely death of this good man, however, that the stepmother's true nature was revealed: cold, cruel, and bitterly jealous of Cinder-Y/N's charm and beauty, she was grimly determined to forward the interests of her own two awkward daughters. Thus, as time went by, the chateau fell into disrepair, for the family fortunes were squandered upon the vain and selfish stepsisters while Cinder-Y/N was abused, humiliated, and finally forced to become a servant in her own house.'' Up In The Tower had gleamed so bright, Which was actually the Attic Y/N resided in.

''And yet, through it all, Cinder-Y/N remained ever gentle and kind, for with each dawn she found new hope that someday, her dreams of happiness would come true.''

Y/N was singing a song, while brushing her hair. She called it, a Dream Is a wish your heart makes. Suddenly, the Bell outside near the castle had rung. ''Oh! I hear you clock! curse you..'' Y/N got up and grabbed her apron. She tied it around her waist, before opening her eyes to look at herself in the mirror. ''How pretty,'' she thought. After some good examination in the cracked Mirror. Y/N's stepsister and Stepmother bells had gone off with some Yelling.

''CINDER-Y/N!'' Y/N heard yelling. It sounded like her step-sister, Annie. Y/N walked down the stairs, and headed into the kitchen. She prepared breakfast, with some sides of toast and jam. She placed the three trays on her arm, as she placed each plate of toast and jam on the plate. Then, there was the tea. ''Well, that’s it, now…'' She put everything together neatly on each plate. Y/N then walked to the table, where her Step-mother, and stepsisters sat.

''About time.'' Penny took the breakfast from Y/N, and as the three ate Y/N left to have her small breakfast. Toast and Tea, the toast was smothered in jam. After Y/N ate, she left to do her other chores. Feed the Animals, wash their dishes. It was pretty much the same ever old routine. She never complained or anything.

The Elf King, was currently thinking of something. Tapping his hands on the gold throne, he called his firstborn son into the room, Edred. ''Yes, Father?'' Edred inquired.

''I am hosting a ball for you, to find a suitable lady to rule over the North when I'm gone.'' The Elf King coughed, as Edred nodded. ''You may go resume whatever you were doing.'' Edred walked off, Nervous. He entered the forest, and heard somebody. He pulled out Twillion.

''Reveal yourself!'' Edred pointed twillion. Y/N accidentally fell from the tree, some apples fell on her forehead. They bounced on the ground and rolled away. Edred kneeled to help Y/N up. ''Excuse me, are you alright?'' Edred extended his hand. Y/N grabbed his hand and was helped up.

''I'm fine-'' Y/N stopped. ''You're the Prince! Prince Edred!'' Y/N let go of his hand. Edred nodded. ''I have to go!'' Y/N grabbed the apples, and before she could run off Edred stopped her.

''Wait, what is your name?'' Edred asked.

''I can't say who I am. Goodbye!'' Y/N waved as she ran over. A Encounter with the prince? Y/N couldn't believe her eyes. In the Castle, Every single woman was cheering. Aelwulf, held a scroll. Everybody has shushed as Aelwulf cleared his throat.

''Prince Edred Of the North, has this decree. To attend the ball you must require a invitation.'' The Crowd oohed. ''And put together your most fashionable attire, for a random dance you will be selected to be Queen!'' The Crowd lost it, they cheered and hugged eachother good luck. Edred frowned, for he wanted to speak more with the woman he found at the forest.

Y/N's stepsisters were bossing Cinder-Y/N around, Mop the floors, feed the animals you know. A Knock was heard on the door. ''Coming!'' Y/N opened the door to reveal a messenger Elf with the Ball invitations.

''Here are the invitations, you have a good day.'' The Messenger left, and Y/N shut the door.

''The Invitations are here!'' Y/N shouted as her two stepsisters came running down shouting Give it to me and No Give it to me! Talk about obsessed with the Prince. The stepsisters yanked it from Y/N's hands, and opened it. They read through the invitations and laughed.

''Imagine if she went, 'Hold my Broom Dear Prince!' He would kick her out.'' Penny laughed as Annie joined in. Y/N frowned as she walked off, it was about Nighttime.

''When's it my turn? I've had done everything around here.'' Y/N looked on her vanity, staring off into the palace. What she hadn't known was that during today, something special was waiting for her. Y/N turned, and saw a Red and Black Ballgown in the closet. Y/N smiled in delight, as she picked it up.

The Stepmother, Annie And Penny waltzed down the stairs to the carriage along. They were giggling. ''WAIT FOR ME!'' The stepsisters were shocked, as so the stepmother. The Stepmother, who had this evil grin on her face approached Y/N.

''We did have a bargain, we did.'' The Stepmother placed her hand on the sleeve and tore it. Soon enough, the stepsisters joined on in and as they left, Y/N was now in tears. A Hard made dress, in shreds.

Y/N then sped out of the house and into the backyard. Y/N then rested her face and arms on a stone stool. A Slow sparkle had appeared, and then many more. Melinda had formed from the sparkles, Her arm around Y/N's shoulder and stroking her hair with the other arm. In between Y/N's choked sobs, she was saying things could never come true. ''How could you say such a thing, Y/N?'' Y/N then looked up, and got up. Melinda then stood up, adjusting her sleeves.

''Who are you?'' Y/N asked.

''I'm basically your fairy godmother, but you can call me Melinda if you'd like.'' Melinda smiled. Y/N raised her eyebrow as Melinda was now looking for something behind stuff and over stuff.

''My Fairy Godmother..'' Y/N blinked. Melinda had nodded.

''Indeed! And in fact, I'm going to help you with the ball.'' Melinda was confused on where her item was. Melinda had then realized. ''Oh yes, I put it away!'' And With a Green flame, Melinda's wand looking staff appeared in her hands. Y/N lit up as Melinda looked around.

''Now, we need a pumpkin.'' Melinda had then spotted and rolled up her sleeves. ''Ahem,'' Melinda coughed. ''A Pumpkin?'' Y/N asked. ''Just One!'' ''Salagaa doo la menchicka boo la bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!'' The Pumpkin came to life, rolling down the hill. Put 'em together and what have you got?,Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Salaca doo la menthicka boo la bibbidi-bobbidi-boo It'll do magic believe it or not!'' The Pumpkin danced around as it vines expanded, forming wheels and slowly gathering other objects. ''bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Salaca doo la ming menthicka boo leroo But the thingamabob that does the job is bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!'' Melinda turned to Y/N as she waved the wand. ''Salaca doo la menthicka boo la bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, Put 'em together and what have you got! bibbidi-bobbidi bibbidi-bobbidi bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!'' The Pumpkin then expanded into a full on White Carriage, with a lantern and gold incrusted.

Melinda then spotted a horse, and zapped it with her wand. Melinda laughed, as the horse turned into a Human Carriage Person. Melinda then spotted a Lizard and turned it into a Human Coachmen. ''Now..4 mice.'' Melinda then looked in the garden and spotted four mice sharing a cabbage. Melinda zapped them, and slowly but surely they turned into horses.

''Y/N! You are now ready.'' Melinda smiled.

''But wait-'' Y/N was interrupted.

''Your dress will look lovely..OH GOODNESS!'' Melinda shrieked at the shreds. ''Now this dress will not do. Oh yes! The shade of your eyes.'' Melinda looked into Y/N's eyes as a cast of glitter circled around Y/N. Y/Ns shreds turned into a Beautiful Wide Cream Colored Ballgown that was overflowed with multicolored layers of brown and cream colors and it was complete with Gloves, a Pearl Necklace and earrings. Y/N lifted up her skirt to reveal glass slippers.

''Oh Melinda, I couldn't thank you enough.'' Y/N grabbed Melinda's hands, as then she twirled. But Melinda had something to say.

''But Y/N, I must warn you. My Magic will not last forever, by the stroke of 12 on a godfather clock, the spells will wear off and everything will be back to normal.'' Y/N nodded, and Melinda held Y/N's cheeks. ''Oh bless you child, I- Oh no! It's getting late!'' Melinda shooed Y/N to the carriage, Y/N hopping in and as the door closed. ''Be happy, have fun and Don't be Late on the way home! Be careful!'' Y/N rode away, as Melinda waved and then evaporated into green flames.

The Carriage spun off on the bridge, the gold in crusted wheels spinning, as the Driver shook the ribbon. Edred sat infront of his assembly, sighing on his throne. He had not liked any of the girls that were infront of him. None of them suited his liking. The Elf king and Aelwulf were watching from the balcony.

''He isn't cooperating,'' Aelwulf sighed. ''I guess he likes none of them..'' Aelwulf continued.

''He has to choose somebody, atleast.'' The Elf king joined in. Y/N was almost to the palace, which was dabbed up with streamers, lights, and all of the good stuff. The Carriage had stopped at the palace, and the Lizard Coachmen opened the door and helped Y/N out.

''I'm nervous.'' Y/N exclaimed. The Lizard approached Y/N, ''I'm not a princess, I'm just a girl.'' Y/N explained further. The Lizard softly smiled.

''And I'm only a Lizard. You got this Y/N, you have this moment to finally be with Edred. Go on.'' The Lizard pointed as Y/N smiled and walked up the stairs. She entered the great hall, spotting the guards in formal attire. She looked around, walking up the stairs. Coming across the doors to the ballroom, the two guards had opened the doors, and everybody's attention had diverted to Y/N. Y/N approached the balcony, her dress following along. She even had Prince Edred's attention too.

''Look! He has this one in a daze with him!'' Aelwulf pointed as the Elf king softly smiled. Edred got up and approached Y/N, and took her hand to the ballroom floor. The Announcer had announced the first dance, and Y/N and edred were happily dancing on the floor. Of course, there was a secret garden they went to. ''I have a question, have we met before?'' Edred asked as they both sat down on a swing in the garden.

''I have no Idea, why do you ask?'' Y/N turned.

''It's just that you seem awfully familiar.'' Edred replied. They were stuck in a daze with each other, and just before they could kiss the Clock had gone off. Y/N shrieked and the bell rang loudly. Y/N had gotten up and run off. ''WAIT! WHAT IS YOUR NAME?'' Edred yelled, running after Y/N, ''Please don't go!'' Edred chased after Y/N.

Aelwulf had noticed and went to assist his Brother to catch the Lady. Y/N flew through the crowd, and eventually bumped into the Elf King. ''I am so sorry!'' Y/N apologized, the elf king said it was alright and let Y/N off. Edred and Aelwulf passed by. While Y/N was fleeing down the stairs, her shoe had came off.

Before Y/N could reach it, Aelwulf and Edred were catching up and had to leave it behind. Aelwulf caught the shoe and waved it in his hand, Y/n going inside the carriage, and took off. Edred and Aelwulf got onto their horses and with the Elf guards, they were pursuing the carriage. Edred had then yelled, ''Stop in the name of the Prince!'' The Bell had gone off again.

Y/N looked out the window, and waved goodbye. Edred had tried to go faster, but failed. ''Hurry!'' The Driver had gone faster and suceeded. They were catching up, and just in time the gate was closed Seperating them from the chase. Edred and Aelwulf looked defeated.

Y/N had made it home, and everything had turned back except for one thing. She still had her glass shoe. Y/N picked it up, and smiled outside her home window. ''Thank you, Melinda.'' Y/N smiled. Her Family had arrived, and in the next morning Y/N was so caught up in the dance yesterday, her stepmother got suspicious.

The Next Morning, Edred sat on his throne defeated while he held the Glass Slipper. "Father", Edred turned. ''We should find the one who fits, and then from that Point on I shall marry whoever fits this shoe.'' Edred continued. Yet so, The whole news was spreaded out.

Y/N was now locked in her room. The Prince was coming to their house, and Y/N couldn't have her chance to be with Edred, but then she remembered. The Extra Key she had hidden! She then scattered through her room, checking boxes and whatnot. ''Here it is!'' Y/N pulled out the key, and unlocked the door. Prince Edred and Aelwulf were already at their house in the living room, trying to see if the slipper would her step sisters. It did not. Just before they were to leave, Y/N came down flagging them.

''Wait for me! I shall try it on!'' Aelwulf and everybody looked up, even the stepsisters and step mother were shocked. Edred smiled as he waited. Aelwulf went to grab the glass shoe, and hand it to Edred. While Edred was walking with it in his hands, The stepmother tripped him and the Glass Shoe Broke!

''No! It's broken! What can we do now!'' Edred picked up the pieces as Y/N smiled and gigled a bit.

''Well you see, I have the other shoe.'' Y/N pulled it out as her stepmother shrieked. Edred then held the shoe up, and with a perfect fit, Edred took Y/N with him. Edred and Y/N then walked out of the castle, with the bells going off, Y/N in a wedding dress, Aelwulf and The Elf King were tossing flowers everywhere. Y/N's shoe came off, and Edred placed it back on. Y/N kissed Edred on the cheek and they went inside the Carriage. The carriage took off, Edred and Y/N waving, as they rode off.
