About me (continued):

I am a stage performer! (i.e. I'm a raging theatre kid)

I am also an organist and a percussionist. (For those who don't know what "organist" means, that means I play the pipe organ. For those who don't know what that is, you're too young to have a phone, let alone access to tumblr. For those who do know what that is, it's about time you were put into a retirement home.)

I also speak German! / Ich spreche auch Deutsch!

I made really cool trans flag art once. That's my only big accomplishment in life. (The related post is on my blog somewhere.)

I'm Myrsexual. To put it simply, my asexuality is constantly in a state of quantum superposition (i.e. I experience most of the acespec at the same time. Sound confusing and contradicting? Trust me, it is.)

Composed in August of 2024, this is one of my favorite compositions to date, and marks when I truly started branching out from what I was comfortable with before.

This piece was originally inspired by Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber, but very quickly it began taking itself in its own direction, and I allowed it to write itself how it felt it needed to be written, and this is the result; I am very happy with how it turned out!

A little more about Twiligh7.Skies:

Truly starting in the summer of 2023, I began dabbling in the composing world on FL Studio Mobile, a $15 composing mobile app by FL Studio. I mostly began with composing for the Pipe Organ, a phenomenal instrument I hold very dear to my heart. Since that time, I have upgraded to the desktop version of FL Studio and branched out much more from my Pipe Organ roots, including composing for orchestras and even the local school band. It has been a wonderful journey as I improve my abilities and share my creations with the world.

My main focus for this blog is to use it as a medium to share my works and house discussions about those works and music in general. Constructive criticism is both permitted and encouraged!
