i'm replaying turnabout corner and forgot how funny klavier is. he shows up out of nowhere, thinks you're checking him out, and leaves without giving you his full name. the next day it's his return to the courtroom, probably after years touring the globe, and the first thing during the trial he goes "wow court is boring as hell lmao" and blasts his theme song. plays air guitar immediately afterwords. dude WHAT are you doing!!!

Somewhere, Kristoph Gavin's search history reads something like:
> People willing to deliver spider lilies to a hospital
> Unscrupulous florists
> How to get flowers delivered from prison

I love how the culprits of Apollo Justice are:
Kristoph: Obsessed with seeing other people suffer. Meticulously plans everything. Has contingencies set in place. Spies on like six different people for seven years. Borderline Personality Disorder. Psychopath. Has some sort of repressed trauma. GNC af. Whore for nail polish. Skull-scar. Sucks at poker. Failed to kill a child with nail polish. Sleeps with Phoenix Wright. Goes completely insane.
Alita: Yeah I just shot a guy and blamed it in my fiance. Also the guy I murdered strangled me and tried to dump me in the river. My fiance is a furry and the heir to the Kitaki mafia. I like scarves.
Daryan: Yeah I just shot a guy and blamed it on a blind, non-english speaking child. Also I smuggled poisonous cocoons and my hair has anime jiggle-physics. I call my guitar "Geeter". I like sharks.
Though, I gotta say. Honestly? Not even the worst way Apollo could've started his career

Not to be all Beanix defense squad again but you know, the stuff he does in turnabout corner that annoys Apollo, You know recruiting him to cases that can't go to trial, honestly is pretty good mentorship.
Kid did a murder case his first trial and it was deeply tramatising. Getting him to learn to investigate with a theoretically easy chill case that no one got hurt during is a good way to teach him the ropes without it being even more traumatic.
Investigating is an important part of the job. It's what you have to do when you're a DA in this universe and not that connected. Apollos so upset about doing it that it makes me wonder if Kristoph actually does investigate crimes scenes with him. He doesn't in the tutorial case (which obviously gameplay wise you never do but still). Kristoph seems like he have the connections to not have to or the funds to hire a PI or just forges whatever he needs. That's something Phoenix would know and would also know that if Apollo is going to be going this on his own he has to learn how to investigate asap.
Obviously it spirals but that's his intent and I think that's fair. He basically out right says that if he finds out what happened with his ankle he'll give him a cut of the suit so it's not like Apollo's not going to get any pay out.
So yeah sorry that I post a lot of Beanix defense but I'm now replaying AJ and like on a replay almost everything frustrating with him the first time (and frustrating in Apollo's eyes) is more well motivated and kind than you think
