Because seems Tumblr has been going crazy with the websites recent rules and guidelines that will be going into effect on Dec 17 and it will hurt talented creators who post their art on here, because the site may deem their certain content too “NSFW” or “Explicit” for its own “community image” and there is no telling whom will be the victims of such a judgemental algorithm, chances are: it could be me or it could be you. So if you know me and I know you, you can ask me for both or one of them so we can stay In touch. back up your posts, artwork, animations, anything you have on tumblr. Now, if I were to give my opinion on this change coming up on Tumblr, I just think its silly and unconstitutional to the freedom of the internet and may do more harm then good on this site and its communities. I hope Tumblr @staff will think about this and change their mind, otherwise, there will be repercussions that will happen to this site in the long run, if it takes effect.
