I'm seeing a lot of discussions about the Bayern board and the sacking of the coaches. And I don't think a lot of it is fair and that one important point is often forgotten.
The new Bayern board is not the old one!
Let's look back. Kovac really didn't work out with the team and he was sacked and Hansi Flick took over. Hansi was a great fit with the team. Hansi didn't leave because of the team but BECAUSE he didn't get on with Brazzo. The team loved Hansi and they were angry. I felt you could see that well in the Bayern documentary when Goretzka was sitting in Brazzo's office.
Nagelsmann was sacked BECAUSE Brazzo and Kahn wanted Tuchel from the start and they weren't interested in how the team was doing. Even Hainer was simply informed of the final decision.
The points that Kahn and Brazzo had put together don't seem to be true. That his girlfriend is supposedly the mole can't be true, because we already had the problem before they even knew each other and we've had the problem since Kovac. Then there's the sacking of the goalkeeping coach. Neuer's best friend. We also know that he constantly passed on information to Neuer. You can't work like that in a coaching team if information is constantly being passed on to the team. That Nagelsmann had allegedly lost the dressing room, as the media have always claimed, was denied by some of the players. Especially if you look at the interviews of Kimmich and Goretzka directly after the sacking. Kimmich called it a deal with little love and little heart. Goretzka said he would be stupid to contradict his boss. Also pretty obvious….
When the rumor came out that the team wasn't behind Brazzo and Kahn, the players didn't comment on it. And it was precisely because of this nonsense with Nagelsmann that Brazzo and Kahn were sacked. Now the new Bayern board (Dreesen and Freund) are left with a coach who doesn't fit the team and a team that liked their old coaches. (I'm not saying that all the players, without exception, got on with Nagelsmann. At least between Lewi and him there seemed to be tensions, but even there the main problem was the non-existent new contract. That's Brazzo's job)
You can't complain that the new board doesn't act in the same way as the old one. They don't because they weren't the decision-makers back then. We wouldn't have lost Nagelsmann under this board, we wouldn't have lost him even under Hoeneß. And it's completely okay to sack a coach because he doesn't suit the team. And that's exactly what's happening now with Tuchel. To compare this situation with the old coaches is simply not fair to the current board.
That was a very long text about my thoughts. I just wanted to get this off my chest because I have the feeling that some information is getting lost in the current discussions.

10 players who can shine under Thomas Tuchel for England
Thomas Tuchel has agreed to become the new England manager, with the German replacing Gareth Southgate as the permanent Three Lions boss. Tuchel feels the pressure as Harry Kane set to miss out on prizes now
Despite winning 11 straight Bundesliga titles, Bayern Munich faces a crisis with recent losses, including a 3-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen and a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the Champions League. Thomas Tuchel’s team struggles with offensive inefficiency, evident in the last two games where they had only one shot on target each. Social Media Links Follow us…
