i'm guessing this is supposed to be the last six sentences i wrote.

i've let go of my modern au (for now, it needs some time to mature in the wip cellar) and continued on the post canon fic i really should ignore until i've written the next chapter of yksu.

but that's just not how i work. i see a muse, i grab it. here we go!

also this is like the most i've written in two weeks to i'm happy about it even existing.

But now, the bastard is intruding on her territory, again. 

Tav’s first instinct is to yeet her tankard across the guildhall, hoping it’ll hit him straight in the head. She snickers a bit, thinking about how it’d make a satisfying clank as it hits that empty head of his. Alas, in a massive exercise of self control, she raises the tankard to her lips instead, draining its bitter content with deep gulps. 

As the adventurer makes his way across the mezzanines towards her, Tav’s second instinct is to vault the bar and hide, which is frankly just embarrassing behaviour for the 'Hero of the Gate'. But Aradin Beno is the last person she wants to see again and while he still hasn’t noticed her, it’s just a matter of seconds until he will.

The urge to shower had taken over from drinking, unless it had been very dry to which she could down bottles of the stuff. Her tongue flicked at dry lips, an act more reptillian in nature than amphibious. Food wasn't important.
