La Parisienne. Robe de taffetas noir; sa garniture se compose de pattes en velours noir, terminées chacune par un gland, et brodées en perles topazes.

La Marquise. Robe en taffetas gris, garnie par derrière avec trois petits volants gradués; les boutons placés sur chaque côté simulent la tunique de devant, formée par des rouleaux en velours gris et une frange grise.

Francesca. Robe de taffetas violet, avec bandes et pattes en velours noir, brodées en perles et étoiles de nacre; glands en soie noire; sur le corsage, arabesques en soutache noire mélangée de perles. La garniture n'est point interrompue par derrière, et se répète sur l'autre côté; par conséquent, la bande de velours noir, parallèle au bord de la robe, se continue jusqu'à la bande qui remonte vers la taille.

The Parisian. Black taffeta dress; its trim consists of black velvet legs, each ending in a tassel, and embroidered in topaz beads.

Marquise. Dress in gray taffeta, trimmed behind with three small graduated flounces; the buttons placed on each side simulate the front tunic, formed by rolls of gray velvet and gray fringe.

Francesca. Purple taffeta dress, with black velvet bands and tabs, embroidered with pearls and mother-of-pearl stars; black silk tassels; on the bodice, arabesques in black soutache mixed with pearls. The garnish is not interrupted behind, and is repeated on the other side; therefore, the strip of black velvet, parallel to the edge of the dress, continues to the strip that goes up towards the waist.
