Personality (Pre-Transformation): Calm, collected. He generally does not raise his voice. If the situation is dire, and he gets ticked off he might start to get angry but nothing too serious. Never picks a fight but if some one else wants one, he'll give it to them.

Personality (Post-Transformation): Confident, proud. Considers himself better than most people. While maintaining a generally calm attitude, sights of destruction amuse him and bring out his inner demon as some say. He gets sadistic when provoked and is incredibly "mad with power."

Biography/Backstory: Ever since he was young, Truen Neklectia was fascinated by the things that ice magic could do. The moment he was old enough he set that as his focused element. He trained harder than most children at his school and quickly rose to the top of the Ice users in his village. Unfortunately, he would quickly become the last. His village was attacked after a while and everyone had to escape. Truen was seperated from his family, however he escaped with one of his 4 other friends, a girl named Reine. He and Reine decided to head to the training academy and learn how to fight with other powerful and skilled people. When he arrived, he found his friends were all alive and he reunited with them. Over the course of a year, his powers grew and he became likely the strongest Ice Mage in the academy. 

However, life did not remain normal for long. Truen always looked content and happy, but inside he was quite depressed. After the destruction of his home village lead by a group of three powerful Dragon lords, he was sad for his family. He had no idea where they were, and became jealous of one of his friends named Tensue, who's family was still alive in the capital city of the nation. Tensue and him never got along due to the fact that Tensue didn't like how calm Truen always acted, and Truen hated how much Tensue over reacted to everything. Thus tension was sparked between them, and this was the start of things.

Another couple months passed, and Truen began to notice unusual things. His finger nails grew back unnaturally fast, and his skin was becoming tough and harder. His back was hurting, and when he got angry his eyes would turn a fiery red. Finally, one day Truen was in a lot of pain and was aloud to skip out of training. He took a nap, and had a nightmare. He saw a great black dragon, destroying a village. The scariest part was that he was the dragon. When he awoke, he found himself on the ground. His back didn't hurt any more, and he felt strong. He looked at himself in the mirror, and saw that he had dragon-like wings. At first, he was terrified, but he discovered he liked the new power. Then he thought of his friends and realized he would likely be dead if he didn't escape. It was people like him, part dragon part human, that destroyed their village. 

With that, he ran off and left the academy. He knew his friends had seen him, but he left anyway. He was determined to find a way to learn how to use his powers and remove the hatred he held. The only ones who could train him, were those very same people that destroyed his village. They accepted him, and taught him. However, Truen's personality had a complete and total change. He wound up becoming a power-obsessed, merciless overlord just like those who trained him. He took his powers and used them for the wrong purposes. Where he goes from there has yet to be determined.

It's Amenamida (no) Tsuitachi. I say the no part because then it means "Tears of the first day,*" which only you and any Japanese speakers will know unless I get an interview where it comes up, or something. In Japanese it'd be:

The name has significance to his past and the time she meets him.

*Not literally, but that is the mindset behind it. Amenamida means, roughly, crying rain. Tsuitachi means first day of the month.
