This went up a few days ago and I totally forgot to post it! Just my thoughts on the amazingness that was Tribal Wonderland 2014. Swag video coming soon-ish.

Another amazing video from Tribal Wonderland 2014! To me, this video showcases the real beauty of ATS - I happen to know these four dancers (one of them is a very new friend, but that's not the point) and I also know that this is the first time they've performed (or really danced) together. One is from Wisconsin, one from Colorado, and two from different areas of Minnesota. That's the beauty of American Tribal Style as a language - dancers who haven't danced together are able to improvise beautifully. I also may have teared up a bit during this performance - because it's just such a beautiful idea and expression. If anyone ever asks me why I dance ATS, this is the answer.

Just found this! I didn't know if anyone had gotten video, but it looks like someone was on top of it! This is from Friday night, Carolena and Megha's duet that started off the weekend. It's a great video, but I must say it was incredibly powerful in person - I may have started crying at some point (don't judge).

Day 0

I cried during puja; I shook Carolena's hand; I consumed much mead with the dancers in the cabin. Beautiful dance bliss!

Packing Vlog?

Might be a thing as I pack and double check my packing tomorrow for Tribal Wonderland 2014. Oh yeah, by the way, Carolena and Megha are in Minnesota right now! I'm so fucking pumped for this weekend!
