"As a collective of scholars, activists, and artists, we seek to transform dominant paradigms in Dominican and Haitian knowledge production, political culture, and pedagogy that reproduce class exploitation, gender violence, and social exclusion on the basis of citizenship, sexuality, language, culture, phenotype, and ability. In this project initiated by politically progressive scholars working in Dominican studies,another goal is to combat antiblack xenophobia and anti-Haitianism, and promote dialogue across the island..."
