Why Samurai Lords hates Ishida Mitsunari

Ishida split the Toyotomi Clan as he only wants the Taiko to trust him and no one else.

Ishida proposed the idea of holding the lord's families as hostages to prevent uprising knowing that the lords hates him

Ishida openly disrespects other lords despite of their experiences, contributions and loyalty displayed to the Taiko.

Ishida manipulate the Taiko into breaking his promises with his allies and former enemies, making more enemies along the way

Ishida criticizes those who opposes his decision by telling them that to oppose him is to oppose the Taiko which deserves a punishment

Instead of providing proper logistic support being an administrator, Ishida is only there to report their shortcomings to the Taiko

Although it's his fault for not ensuring proper logistic supply which caused them to retreat, he blames them for failing and retreating

Instead of reporting the truth to the Taiko, he changes his report to save himself while throwing all the lords under the bus to be blamed

All the while, the Taiko himself is totally oblivious of the real situation thanks to Ishida's false reports while his Samurai are suffering

The Taiko even send ridiculous conditions which will prolong the war instead of ending it as he thinks he still have the upper hand

The only person who listens to the Samurai lords is Tokugawa Ieyasu who have been against the war since the beginning like the others

While the Samurai are suffering in Imjin War due to Ishida Mistsunari incompetence and false report, the oblivious Taiko is enjoying himself.

It's no wonder the Samurai lords who serves the Toyotomi later switch side to the Tokugawa during the Battle of Sekigahara.

Tori Matsuzaka plays a game against the "Nino Family team and reveals his unknown struggles with Kazunari Ninomiya

Actor Tori Matsuzaka will appear on the "Nippon Television" program "Play with Nino-san" (19:58 P.M.-21:54 P.M. on japanese time and 11.58 P.M.-13.54. P.M. on european time) on the 12th january. He will battle it out with the "Nino-san family" team members Kazunari Ninomiya, Fuma Kikuchi, Tomonori Jinnai, Takashi Yoshimura, comedy duet "Ganbareruya", and "3ji no Heroin" at an athletics facility.

After enjoying the game battle to the fullest, they held a small New Year's party. An unexpected incident occurred when the "Nino Family" did not show up at the venue. After that, everyone gathered together and the New Year's party started. In response to Matsuzaka's request, they served a special menu using "large-mouth lotus root" and "Jingoemon potato", and Matsuzaka was very satisfied, saying "It's so delicious!".

In a relaxed atmosphere, the conversation turned to Matsuzaka's time as a young actor. Matsuzaka debuted as a model in 2008, and the following year he entered the world of acting with "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger". Apart from The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House, I would like to share three of my favorite 2023 jdramas.

1. Brush Up Life ( On Netflix, its title is Rebooting).

This is a heartwarming slice-of-life comedy starring Sakura Ando and Kaho (with Haru Kuroki, Shota Sometani, and Tori Matsuzaka as minor characters). It focuses on female friendship.

2. Fence - Compared to Brush Up Life, Fence has heavy themes such as sexual assault, PTSD, war, and racism/discrimination. It is also brilliantly acted by Mayu Matsuoka and Ariana Miyamoto. This is penned by the same writer of The Full-time Wife Escapist, so it has a feminist and multi-layered narrative.

3. Nagatan to Ao to

This is a healing food jdrama/ noona romance which chronicles the journey of Ichika who was forced to enter an arranged marriage to save their family-owned restaurant. It also features her struggles as a woman as she assumes the role of the head chef. This was top billed by Mugi Kadowaki.
