You two are in a battle against villains

You get hurt when you were fighting 3 villains at once, on your own

You lose consciousness and are now in a coma

the doctors don't know when you'll wake up

Bakugou blames himself for not protecting you correctly

He stays by your side the whole time

Sleeps in the hospital, on a chair, his head on your bed

Has nightmares of the moment when you got stabbed

He talks in his nightmares, his voice wavering and quivering

"Don't leave me, please..."

"I can't live without you!"

Cries when he's alone in your hospital room with you, eyeing your sleeping state, noticing how peaceful you look

When you wake up, he starts crying, no matter who else is in the room with y'all

He clings to you like a little child does to his mother

Doesn't leave your side AT ALL during your 2 week recovery stay in the hospital unless you're going to the bathroom

When you're released, he doesn't let you do ANYTHING

Carries everything for you, even your school bag

When you're going somewhere he has to carry you AT LEAST half the way (whether it's bridal style or piggy back)

Once you're good enough to start training again, he convinces Aizawa-sensei to put you against the weakest classmates

Makes sure everyone goes easy on you until you're fully recovered

If you guys have to fight real life villains again (I mean, this is class 1a, of course they're gonna fight real villains) he stays beside you the whole entire fight, making sure you don't get hurt again

Now, if instead, you don't survive (if you get triggered by the TW's at the beginning, I advise you don't read this part)

When your heart monitor flatlines, he goes into a state of denial

Tears start streaming down his cheeks without him even noticing

The doctors rush in to see what's wrong

Bakugou starts blaming the doctors, saying they didn't do enough to save you

He falls to his knees, burying his face in his hands as he bawls, now blaming himself for not protecting you

He refuses to leave your body, even when his mom tries to pull him out the room

He gets severely depressed

Doesn't talk to anyone, not during classes, training, or just regular days

Everyone else is also affected by your death, but Katsuki is 100x worse

All your other classmates (specifically the Bakusquad) try to cheer him up, despite their own pain

Bakugou loses it, and starts self harming, blaming himself for your death, that if he had been a better boyfriend, you wouldn't have died

After a short while, two months tobe exact, he has had enough

He decides to end it, jumping off the roof in the middle of the night

Alright, characters and emojis.

As you know, the Japanese fandom really likes to use symbols to talk about characters, it's a way to code the language without showing up in search functions. These are usually used for shipping, but not always.

Some characters are more obvious than others, but for those who may seem a little far reached, I will write a small explanation.

Some are established fanon-accepted, but they're not really strongly claimed, so some artists will use the same emoji for different characters. (And as always if you like what I’m trying to do, consider buying me a drink or a doujin with ko-fi) (twitter version btw)

So here's my list for Dragon Ball (🐉) :p

Saiyans and half-saiyans:

Goku: 🥕 (Kakarot -> carrot) or 5️⃣9️⃣

Vegeta: 🥗

Broly: 🥦

Raditz: 🦔 (the hedgehog hair lol)

Turles: 🥬(Tullece -> lettuce) or 🍎 (because of the fruit obviously)

King Vegeta: 👑 or 🔱 (they aren’t super common)

Bardock and his squad: no established emoji that I've noticed, but 🍅 should be for Toma (Tora in English). 🌿 should be for Fasha (Selipa in Japanese, which are the syllables for parsley (pa-se-ri). I’ve seen someone use 🦀 or 🩸 (the headband) for Bardock.

Gine: 🧅 I’ve seen this one once!

Cumber: 🥒

Caulifla: I haven’t seen an established one that, but 🔥 works for her hair.

Kale: 🥬

Cabba: 🥬 yes Cabba (cabbage) and Kale (.. kale lol) share the same emoji. Context!

Gohan: 🍚 ("fried rice" as lunch; the term rice is used as a way to talk about the entire meal, even if it does not contain rice); for Future Gohan, you'll find it with the kanji 未 mi, from mirai (future). 5️⃣8️⃣ sometimes too. Add in 🐺 for the beast version!

Goten: 🍤(TENpura) sometimes 5️⃣🔟. Tenpura (tempura) is a type of fried food, and it's used for Goten because (go)ten(pura) (he's nicknamed "ten" by Trunks).

Trunks: 🐯(tora(nkusu); Tora means tiger); for Future Trunks, you'll find it with the kanji 未 mi, from mirai (future).

Bra: 👙 usually. Sometimes 👸

Pan: 🍞 (bread, obviously)

Earthlings:

Chichi: 🥛🍼(her name means milk; both are used)

Ox King: 🐂 (only seen it once, but that’s because I don’t see many drawings of him lol)

"Y/N, stay awake, please, I'm begging you..." Keisuke's voice wavered as he spoke to you, running as fast as he could towards the nearest hospital.

"Kei..." you called, voice low and exhausted. "I won't make it, don't tire yourself."

"No! You're staying awake! You're staying with me! You're surviving this, you hear me?!" Your heart ached at your dear boyfriend, you didn't like it when his voice shook. It barely ever did. The only time you remember him being this scared was when his mom got severely injured in an accident. But, you found it hard to keep your eyes open any longer. Your eyelids felt heavier than Burj Khalifa. (This sounds kinda outta place in such a serious moment)

"I wish...I could've seen them...one last...time," a tear finally found its way out your tear glands and down your cheek.

Memories started flooding your brain in your last minutes

"Kei, I'm so sorry.." you shut your eyes closed as a twelve year old Baji looked at you confusedly.

"What are you talking about?"

Before you could even answer, Kazutora had already dumped a bucket of cold water on Baji's head.

"I'M SORRY!! I WAS BRIBED WITH ICE CREAM AND ANIME!!" You frantically screamed as you made your escape, Kazutora not far behind.

"COME BACK HERE YOU FUCKERS!!!" Baji angrily ran after the two of you, as you hysterically laughed.

"Guys look!" Sanzu barged into Toman's hideout, holding a katana in his hand.

"Wooah! A katana?! Where'd you get it from?" Chifuyu asked in awe.

"I bought it!" The proud smile on Haruchiyo's face made your mischievous demons whisper to you.

Without a second thought, you snatched the katana and took it out of its cover thingy.

"HAAH?! GIVE IT BACK!" The pink haired male called after you as you ran away, katana in hand.

"NEVER!!!" You saw Mikey in the distance and decided to mess around.

Long story short, you ended up getting lectured by Mamasuya for almost injuring Toman's president.

Many photos passed your mind, you and Chifuyu reading manga, you and the girls hanging out at the mall, you being Mitsuya's fashion model.

"I'm sorry Kei, I love you..." your arms suddenly went limp around Keisuke's neck. Your skin went cold. The short frantic breaths you were heaving a second ago stopped.

Baji's steps slowed and came to a compete halt. His eyes widened, his breathing picked up.

He had, just now, and in his own arms, lost the love of his life. And what made it worse, the engagement ring in his pocket, the one he never got to give you.

He couldn't understand why.

Why did it have to be you?

Why were you the one standing in the shooting range of those scumbags?

Why wasn't it him?

Why were you the one who died?

Why didn't he save you?

"I'm the worst..." Came Keisuke's worn out voice, gripping his hair. He hadn't slept in days. Not since that day.

He barely ate unless his mother forced the food down his throat. His eye bags were growing more visible by the second.

Chifuyu, the only friend who stayed by you guys' side after the fight, would pass by everyday. The poor blond was worried for his friend. He knew how much it hurt, you were his best friend. It hurt him losing you, too.

But, seeing the person he looked up to in such a state, his heart shattered more than once since your funeral.

Poor Chifuyu stopped by you and Baji's shared apartment- now only Baji's apartment- to cook. He would clean up, gather all the beer cans, the cigarette butts.

His heart ached.

Today wasn't any different. Chifuyu woke up, showered, changed, skipped breakfast, and made his way to Keisuke's place.

The young male rang the doorbell, but, like usual, there was no answer. Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out a spare key (you gave it to him a while back since you trust him) and unlocked the front door.

As usual, he cooked breakfast for the depressed ravenette who barely left his room, unless he wants to drink more.

"Baji-san?" Chifuyu called out, peeking through the bedroom door. "I made you breakfast."

No answer. Chifuyu sighed, knowing he won't be getting one.

"I'll leave the tray here, please eat." With that, he left the room, which used to smell like flowers and perfume, that now reeks of alcohol and smoke.

"I'll clean up the bathrooms today," Chifuyu mumbled to himself.

After picking up the dirty pile of laundry from the bathroom floor, Chifuyu put the clothes in the washer, returning to the bathroom with a broom and Clorox (I hate the smell of this thing but it's necessary when cleaning😒)

Putting the spray bottle of cleaning liquid on the counter, Chifuyu leaned down to the floor, picking up a small box. "Hm? What's this?"

Oh, only if he hadn't seen it. If only he ignored it. Put it up somewhere without opening it. He really wished he had, for now, he was sitting on the bathroom floor, bawling his eyes out once more.

Why? Why is the world so cruel?

There, inside that small box, was an engagement ring. But, that wasn't it. That wasn't what made the young man cry.

It was the bloody blade beside it.

Chifuyu sprung off the floor, speeding towards the main bedroom.

"Baji-san!!" Chifuyu cried out, anger apparent in his voice. He instinctively glanced towards the food tray, sighing a breath of relief when he saw that the cup of water was half empty. The food was untouched, but At least he drank something other than beer.

Keisuke made no movements, as if completely ignoring Chifuyu's presence.

"Baji-san! What is this?!" The green (blue???) Eyed boy asked, facial expressions much softer than his voice.

No answer.

Chifuyu noticed the tip of a white bandage peeking out from beneath the long sleeved shirt Baji was wearing. Eyes filling with worry, he shook the black haired male, trying to wake him up. But to no avail.

Matsuno pulled the covers off of Baji, pretty roughly, but what he saw underneath...horrified him.

Right beside his best friends body, was an opened pill bottle, only a few pills left inside.

Chifuyu's eyes warily glanced at the cup on the bedside table which was half full.

He couldn't believe his eyes. He shook Keisuke more, "Baji-san! Baji-san?!" Voice panicked, he didn't know what to do.

Quick! Check his heartbeat! His brain whispered.

Grabbing Baji's wrist, and pressing his thumb to the (arteries? Veins? I really don't know) he felt... Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

His knees gave up on him, falling to the floor. Eyes wide, tears streaming down his cheeks like waterfalls.

Is he really going to have to attend a second friend's funeral in less than a month?

The yellow-haired male sat up on his knees, and lightly shook Hitoshi's shoulder, "Hey, Toshi, wake up. It's just a dream"

It took a minute or so, but Hitoshi finally sat up, sweating and panting, tears decorating the corners of his eyes, "Aah, fuck, it was a dream."

"You okay?" Kaminari asked with a calm and loving voice, one that made Shinsou want to cry out of happiness.

"Sorry, I woke you up," Shinsou's voice came in a barely audible whisper.

"Don't apologize! Hey, since we're awake anyway, let's go eat something, I'm hungry! Ooh! A midnight snack and movie, that sounds like fun!"

Hitoshi smiled at his still childish boyfriend, What did I do to deserve someone like you?
