Cervical Cancer Surgery in India
Cervical cancer originates in the cervix, which is the lowest part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. The fourth most common disease among women is cervical cancer. 2018 saw almost 570,000 women receive a diagnosis. The majority of cases of cervical cancer are associated with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which is responsible for 99% of cases. It's one of the most effectively treated cancers when detected and managed at an early stage. Two primary forms are recognized: adenocarcinomas (10–20%) and squamous cell carcinomas (80–90%). Cervical cancer is most commonly identified in people between the ages of 35 and 45, and in low- and middle-income countries. HIV-positive women are six times more likely to get the virus, placing them at a much greater risk.
Surgical Advancements: Revolutionary advancements in cervical cancer surgery have been made in India to maintain fertility and improve treatment results. These days, it's increasingly common to use procedures like radical trachelectomy and cone biopsy, which remove malignant tissue without damaging the uterus.
Developments in Radiation Therapy: The developments in radiation treatment for cervical cancer demonstrate India's dedication to remaining at the forefront of medical science. Brachytherapy and External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) are now considered standard treatments because of their ability to precisely target malignant cells.
Customized Chemotherapy for Effective Outcomes: For the treatment of advanced cervical cancer, a combination of radiation therapy and low-dose chemotherapy is successful. India's medical experts carefully customize chemotherapy treatments based on the individual requirements of every patient. The addition of targeted therapy, which targets certain chemicals found in cancer cells, also improves cervical cancer treatment effectiveness.
Immunotherapy: In India, immunotherapy has become a potentially useful therapeutic option for cervical cancer. Immunotherapy provides a focused and individualized treatment by using the body's immune system to identify and eliminate cancer cells.
One of the most important factors in treating cervical cancer successfully is early diagnosis. India has remarkable survival rates because of its dedication to encouraging routine checkups and breakthroughs in treatment approaches. Early detection of cervical cancer can result in a five-year relative survival rate of over 90%, highlighting the profound impact of early and focused therapies. Cervical cancer treatment cost in India is between $3500 to $12000. When combined with top-notch facilities, the affordability of medical procedures makes India a desirable travel destination for patients looking for life-changing treatments. Prominent doctors in the treatment of cervical cancer may be found in India's best hospitals, such as Artemis Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, and Medanta - The Medicity. Tumblr media
Before we take a deep dive into the topic of the best ways to avoid catching viral diseases, let us give you a sneak peek into viral diseases.
What are viral diseases?
As the name suggests, “viral” means “to spread”. Yes, that’s right. Viral diseases are communicable diseases that tend to spread due to their contagious activity. Viral diseases are infections caused by viruses. They are also known as “superbugs.” They tend to spread different types of infection ranging from minor ones like flu or cold to severe ones like HIV.
Different types of viral diseases
The viral disease may affect one or multiple systems of the body from the respiratory system to the brain depending on the severity of the infection and the type of viral attack.
The different types of viral diseases are as follows-
Respiratory viral diseases like, flu, common cold, respiratory syncytial virus, covid.
Gastrointestinal viral diseases like Typhoid or gastroenteritis
Exanthematous viral diseases which include chickenpox, shingles, chikungunya, measles
Hepatic viral diseases like hepatitis A, B, C, D, E
Skin viral diseases which include, warts or HPV virus, herpes, molluscum contagiosum
Hemorrhagic or blood viral diseases include dengue fever, Ebola virus, and yellow fever.
Neurological viral diseases include meningitis, encephalitis, poliomyelitis, and rabies
How does viral disease affect your body?
The viral disease may enter the human body through the following pathways-
Close Contact
Coughing or sneezing causes respiratory problems
Defecation and vomiting cause gastrointestinal problems
Generally, our body is protected from the viruses causing infection with the immune system or defensive mechanism which protects the body by providing a shield. If the immune system is weakened, the body fails to fight viruses. This causes viruses to multiply resulting in infection and attacking other healthy cells.
Symptoms of viral diseases
The general symptoms of viral diseases are as follows-
Flu-like symptoms such as fever
Sore throat
Runny nose
Vomiting and nausea
Loose motions

Just another Sunday afternoon! My public health internship starts tomorrow sadly it's online 06/26/23. Yeah why don't I just tell everyone and their mothers right? It's nice to blog. I was suppose to go to Europe with my parents but now we are postponing to another time.I am going to be working with a nurse practitioner for this internship which is called the IHEART PRACTICUM but it will be online. The good news I'm already working as a public health advisor and it's a 9-5 which I love! Pay is not so good but there is overtime also we have office parties from time to time.. Public health doesnt pay much shouldve went into business ha right my math sucks. Nevertheless, I think I prefer being a part of the Healthcare team even if I am not on top of the chain and don't have the "status" for being a doctor. No offense to doctors yes I am jealous of you guys.. whatever go ahead and walk around with your white coats and look cool. Currently pursuing MPH in global health because I love writing about topics such as climate change, various diseases around the world such as tuberculosis in Bangladesh, leprosy that happened in India, HIV/AIDS epidemic in Nigeria and my favorite is malaria in India. Atovaquone! So I am graduating in November 2023. Yay! We are in a country where age doesn't matter for education. Maybe late down the line I will try for Physician Assistant 😁. Now that I have the credentials. Thank you Murica! So how's my day to day for classes? We have 20 pages of papers to write for a final each term. I only have a 1 week break after a term ends. It's an accelerated program. But this is beyond the point getting back to the main point, I was thinking of writing about a embarrasing thing that happened to me just recently just because I wanted to blog on my tumblr. TUMBLR FOR THE 90'S KIDS AYO! ✌ Sooo... as we all know vagrants have increased in the subways in NYC. I was with my friend going to emo night at Shimanski and the show was from 10-4am. Yes I will never grow up and stop listening to emo music bite me! Its just nostalgic.. currently listening to your guardian angel by the red jumpsuit apparatus! Goodluck to me explaining to my desi parents about the timing of the show! J/k love my parents they're cool and gives me my independence! This is not classy and will sound a little trashy but I was reliving my teen years and had like two hard ciders. Thank you Magners and Angry orchard. I was sitting almost falling asleep from the hard ciders and then two homeless people comes and sits right next to me in each side. I like an idiot wake up and smell the stench but I felt a bit empathetic and was thinking what the homeless people would think of me so I stayed seated! Ahh thank god my stop was next!

Circumcision: How Does It india a Man's Sex Life?
There's a lot of talk about circumcision. A long-time practice that has religious roots, the careful lobbing off a man's penis tip, has recently come under much scrutiny. For the last 50 years, people have been fighting female genital mutilation in other countries like India, while some activists would argue, it is being ignored in the US and other developed nations when it comes to circumcision. Is it a barbaric practice, or is it something that has a basis in healthy living and healthy sexual function? Let's look at the circumcision pros and cons to see precisely how circumcision can affect a man's sex life.
 Does circumcision have health benefits?
Circumcision has been the norm in the US for some time. Despite its spiritual origins, it's become a secular standard procedure of sorts for boys and men because of the alleged health benefits. This argument for circumcision has been so persuasive that approximately 75 percent of men in the US are circumcised. Circumcision Treatment in jaipur
The health benefits doctors cite include a reduction in the instances of sexually transmitted infections like HIV and HPV, as well as a decrease in urinary tract infections, paraphimosis, balanitis, and penile cancer.
 Can circumcision cause complications?
Circumcision, like any procedure, carries the risk of infection, penile necrosis, and bleeding.
Are the benefits of circumcision legit?
The medical community does agree that there is a small but meaningful reduction in the risk of getting STIs and UTIs. The majority of the medical population believes the benefits outweigh the risks in the circumcision equation. That said, circumcision is currently on the decline, both because some parents are deciding to let their sons choose when they are older, and some doctors are refusing to perform the surgery. circumcision in jaipur
 Is circumcision more hygienic?
This is a tricky question. It is correct that men who are cut are less likely to experience smegma and the host of infections it can cause when untreated. However, smegma, the stinky, chunky funk that can collect under the foreskin, can also affect men who've been circumcised.
Does being circumcised reduce sexual sensation?
Yes - the big question! Some experts argue that circumcision can indeed reduce sexual sensation since it eliminates thousands of nerve endings in the penis. Studies have shown that uncircumcised penises are more sensitive to light stimulation than their cut counterparts. The extra foreskin is also believed to create greater friction during sex and bring additional stimulation to the clitoris during intimacy. But it's important to remember that feelings are mostly subjective.
Also, since circumcision is the more common aesthetic for a penis to rock, some men who sport turtlenecks on their Johnson experience some embarrassment or reduced self-esteem since they perceive they look "different" or "weird" by keeping their tops up.
 Do women prefer circumcised penises?
While circumcision is on the decline, it is still the norm in the US. Some parents circumcise their sons so they will be more likely to "fit in" with the majority of boys. Some believe this norm leads women to prefer a cut schlong over one that still has foreskin. At the end of the day, how a woman feels about the man is how she feels about the penis. So, in short, don't sweat it.
 Penis Care
No matter what a man's foreskin looks like, penis care is universally important. Using protection when intimate is a big part of keeping a penis healthy. Also, a man should be sure to urinate after sex to flush the urethra and evacuate any bacteria that are trying to take up residence.
