Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention) (17) Chronomancy
(18) CHRONOMANCY “Mastery is achieved when telling time becomes telling time what to do” Funnily enough, Wikipedia does feature chronomancy among its methods of divination in terms similar to geomancy but with respect to time rather than space – the divination of the best or most propitious time to do something, or the determination of lucky and unlucky days. Although arguably all divination is…

Crown Point dad sent home by ER dies from COVID-19, agonizing over newborn's illness, family says Name: Martin Weingarten City/Town: Carmel Age: 100 Died: April 16 Martin Weingarten was born amid the Spanish flu, during the most severe pandemic in recent history, the son of two candy shop owners in Austria. He would grow into a curious and anxious teenager who would watch from his family’s fourth floor apartment as the Nazis brutally beat his Jewish neighbors on the sidewalks of Vienna. Weingarten escaped and spent a glorious 80 years in the United States, first in New York working for his uncle and then at a U.S. Air Force base. Then in Maryland, as an employee of the United States Census Bureau. Weingarten died April 16 in Carmel amid the world’s most recent pandemic. Coronavirus was ruled his cause of death, according to his nephew Joe Weingarten. He never knew he had contracted COVID-19. By the time he died, Weingarten suffered from dementia, his nephew said. But this 100-year-old man never let the trials of his life taint his outlook or destroy his goodwill. “Oh, he was very friendly, very happy,” said Joe Weingarten, 75, of Fishers. “He was always the nicest guy in the room. He was always smiling, always one of those kind- hearted fellows.” Weingarten was born Nov. 28, 1919 during the Spanish flu, also known as the 1918 influenza pandemic. That health crisis was caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of avian origin, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The flu spread worldwide and, from 1918 to 1919, infected 500 million people, one third of the world’s population. The number of deaths is estimated to be at least 50 million, with about 675,000 in the United States, the CDC says. Weingarten, however, was born safely to Mancie and Isak Weingarten, the youngest of three boys. The family lived in an apartment above the candy shop in “calm surroundings” with a “close-knit family,” Weingarten wrote in a 9-page, 45,000-word document for his family he titled “A Brief Personal History of My Self and Family.” By the time he was a teen, Weingarten’s parents sold the candy shop and opened a general store, offering household items like soaps, cleaning compounds and a variety of fragrances. It was a great financial success, enough so that the Weingartens bought two four-story apartment buildings and moved their family into the top floor of one of them. Weingarten even as a young boy was always interested in world events. He became more interested as the world around him turned dire. Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi Party, was insisting that Austria be merged into Germany. “In the end, Hitler managed to lure the head of the Austrian government to a fateful meeting, where he forcibly detained and stripped him of his position,” Weingarten wrote. That meeting was followed by Germany’s invasion of Austria on March 12, 1938. Within weeks of the invasion, Izak Weingarten was picked up, along with other Jewish business owners, by Nazi authorities. He was held in detention and threatened. He was eventually released, only after he agreed to give up his general store and appoint an administrator for the apartment buildings. “All of us were, of course, relieved to see him come home safely,” Weingarten wrote. “The loss of property and income was no longer important.” Weingarten, 18, and his brother Morris managed to obtain the appropriate documentation and, in the summer of 1938, left Vienna by train headed to Konstanz in Germany. There, they hoped to cross into Switzerland. The Gestapo, German Secret Police in Konstanz, had been rumored to help guide emigrants across the Swiss border. “Emigrants were allowed only to take 10 deutsche marks out of Germany, but our father had given us a number of dollar bills which we hid in a stick of shaving soap,” Weingarten wrote. With the help of Gestapo officers, housing was arranged for Weingarten at a nearby abandoned former hilltop hostel in Switzerland. While there with other Jewish young men, they performed labor, repair and maintenance and, sometimes, played games and sports. In early March 1939, after almost eight months in the camp, the Weingarten brothers received word from the American Embassy in Zurich that their entry visas were ready. After making their way to Zurich and then Antwerp, they boarded a passenger ship bound for New York. Throughout the next 80 years, Weingarten would never take for granted the life he was living. A stint in the U.S. Army in 1943 before being medically discharged for scarlet fever. Earning his college degree in business administration and statistics in June 1959. And his marriage to his dear Elisabeth in February of 1950. At 39, after working for his uncle for nearly two decades, Weingarten landed a job as a management analyst at an Air Force Base in Rome, New York. He later was transferred to the Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland. He ended his 26-year-career there as senior economic advisor to the assistant director for economic fields in 1984. Until a few years ago, Weingarten still read the “Wall Street Journal” every day, his nephew said. When visiting him one day at The Stratford in Carmel, Joe Weingarten noticed the newspaper tucked under his uncle’s arm. He asked someone at The Stratford if he still read it. “No, he just carries it around,” he was told. Joe Weingarten canceled his uncle’s subscription. The next time he visited, Weingarten had found a copy of IndyStar and had it tucked under his arm. Weingarten and Elisabeth moved to The Stratford retirement community about 10 years ago to be near his nephew. He and Elisabeth, who died several years ago, never had children, due to her time in four concentration camps. Alex and Phrase. Necromancer* and apprentice necromancer. I should draw them more and I guess I’m not 100% happy with this either, and I started over like 3 times!!!!
Toned Alex’ gross bodily deterioration down a bit here, maybe a bit too much? I guess it looks mostly like an awkward skin condition here, but it actually is more like chunks of flesh falling off. In this specific setting all living human necromancers basically rot alive and don’t generally live longer than like, 10 years tops? after properly mastering the art. This might sound tragic, but it’s really... not, they basically end up dying and just re-animating themselves at some point. It’s usually very beneficial to do so, too -- usually it gives the necromancer more strength, and being self-animated undead, they can just stop rotting. Basically? Human necromancers are usually physically way more “gross” than undead necromancers are. Those who don’t have the guts to go through with it usually abandon the craft before it gets that bad.
[technically necromancer is not a right term, since they do more than just ‘-mancy’, which implies only divination, but since “-mancer” is a suffix for any practitioner of specific magic thanks to pop culture, I usually use it too. And, yeah, the do actual necromancy, but they do other death and dead related stuff too, so reducing it to necromancy is a tad inaccurate.]

OPERATIONS DIVISION Captain Cheryllynn Williams
In 2017, there were 41,344, incidents in Sangamon County where deputies either initiated a law enforcement service or were dispatched to a call.
There was a lot of movement in the operations division in 2017. In April, Will Brooks, Jordan Cox, and Ryan Kuntzi were hired as a Sangamon County Deputies. Deputy Brooks began the Field Training Program immediately due to prior law enforcement training, and Deputies Cox and Kuntzi began the Illinois State Police Recruit Class. Sergeant Andy Danes was transferred from second shift to the Investigations Division in August. Detective Nancy Finley was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to second shift. Deputy Travis Dalby was transferred from second shift to Crime Prevention in March. Deputy Andrew Brashear was transferred from first shift to the Investigations Division in November.
In June, Deputy Knox retired after 25 years of service. His humor and kindness will be missed.

NYmag JEFF SESSIONS 4:52 P.M.Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns at Trump’s RequestBy Eric Levitz@EricLevitz Out of Session. Photo: Pat Greenhouse/Boston Globe via Getty Images
Jeff Sessions has tendered his resignation, at the president’s request. Less than 24 hours after the 2018 midterms drew to a close, Donald Trump has forced his first attorney general out of his administration, clearing the way for a man who has publicly accused Robert Mueller of taking the Russia investigation “too far” — and mused that a new attorney general could thwart his probe by denying it funding — to become the Justice Department’s interim leader.
We are pleased to announce that Matthew G. Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the Department of Justice, will become our new Acting Attorney General of the United States. He will serve our Country well....
....We thank Attorney General Jeff Sessions for his service, and wish him well! A permanent replacement will be nominated at a later date.
As a member of Trump’s 2016 campaign, Sessions was forced to recuse himself from the Justice Department’s investigation of ties between that campaign and the Russian government. The president has long decried Sessions for refusing to subordinate this ethical obligation to his (imaginary) duty to immunize the commander-in-chief from legal liabilities. But Matthew Whitaker has no conflict of interest in the Russia case. And although he will not (immediately) inherit direct supervision of the Mueller investigation, he will have the power to seal records, withhold funding, and disrupt the probe by other means — as Whitaker himself once explained in his capacity as a CNN talking head:
Appearing on CNN in July 2017 — before he was in his current position as Sessions’s chief of staff —
Whitaker mused about a scenario in which Trump might fire Sessions and replace him with a temporary attorney general.
Whitaker noted that federal regulations still gave the attorney general power over the budget for a special counsel.
That temporary replacement,
he then said,
could move to choke off Mueller’s funding.
“So I could see a scenario where Jeff Sessions is replaced with a recess appointment,” Whitaker said, “and that attorney general doesn’t fire Bob Mueller, but he just reduces his budget to so low that his investigation grinds to almost a halt.”
Whitaker is a former U.S. Attorney and 2014 Senate candidate in Iowa who joined the Justice Department last fall. Here are a few other things that he has publicly claimed to believe:
• Robert Mueller has no legitimate authority to investigate the Trump Organization’s finances, and if he does (which, he has), “then this would raise serious concerns that the special counsel’s investigation was a mere witch hunt.”
• Donald Trump was right to fire James Comey — because James Comey should have prosecuted Hillary Clinton:
Comey’s announcement last July that he would not recommend prosecution of Hillary Clinton for violations of the Espionage Act were a shock to many in law enforcement both inside the FBI and out…[H]is pronouncement that “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring such a case was just wrong, and I said so publicly at the time. I was a federal prosecutor for five years and was proud to serve in the Department of Justice, and I would’ve brought that case.
Clinton set up an entire secret, unsecured communications structure outside of the government she was charged with serving at the highest level; she was the Secretary of State. Classified information that, in the wrong hands, could potentially bring harm to our country – and many in service to our country — was available to be appropriated.
(Whitaker has never called for any investigations into — let alone prosecutions of — the Trump administration’s many, many, many violations of information security protocol.)
• All federal judges should be “people of faith” who take “a biblical view of justice.”
• There shouldn’t have been an independent counsel’s investigation into Russian interference because there wasn’t such an investigation into the Obama administration’s many scandals:
Calls for an independent counsel or commission to investigate allegations that Russia tried to interfere with our elections ring hollow when similar calls for special counsels during the scandals of the Obama administration were dismissed out of hand by the same people making these demands now.
So, clearly, Matthew Whitaker would make a sober, fair-minded, and trustworthy overseer of the Justice Department’s transformation into Donald J. Trump’s private detective agency.

Cory Booker’s 911 CallsBy
ROB LONG
September 13, 2018 10:49 AM
Sen. Cory Booker at a Senate Judiciary hearing, March 2018 (Joshua Roberts/Reuters)
Tuesday
Start Call
911 Operator: This is the 911 operator, what is your emergency?
Cory Booker: This is Senator Cory Booker. I want to report a crime. No, wait, a series of crimes. I want to report nothing less than an entire criminal enterprise that has the tri-state area in its grip.
911 Operator: Sir, is this an emergency?
Cory Booker: I can’t believe you’re asking me that question. Is it an emergency? Yes!
911 Operator: Sir, what is your location?
Cory Booker: I understand why you’re asking that question. That’s the procedure, right? The rules and regulations of the whole 911 power dynamic. But you have to understand. I am in danger here. My life is in danger, just by dropping this stunning bombshell. I am exposing a vast and violent criminal organization — I call it “organized crime,” and sidebar: If you use that phrase please credit me — and despite the danger — and I’ll admit it, the fear — of paying the ultimate price, I am willing to stand up and speak the truth.
NOW WATCH: 'Trump Supporters Fired Up For Midterms
911 Operator: Sir, is this an emergency?
Cory Booker: There is an organized group of criminals in the tri-state area, some call it “the Mafia,” and they control illegal activities such as gambling, prostitution, drug peddling — though to be fair, one of the heads of the so-called “Five Families” has resisted entering into this arena — and they are about to move west, to the sleepy cowboy town of Las Vegas, Nevada — are you writing this down?
911 Operator: Sir, is this an emergency?
Cory Booker: Well, it’s not an emergency emergency.
911 Operator: The 911 line is reserved for actual emergencies, sir.
End Call
Thursday
Start Call
911 Operator: This is the 911 operator, what is your emergency?
Cory Booker: This is Senator Cory Booker. I have reason to believe that the class of medications known as “opioids” are currently being abused throughout the country, with special concentration in post-industrial areas in the Rust Belt and the Appalachian Valley.
911 Operator: Sir, is this an emergency?
Cory Booker: People don’t want to talk about it. It’s something you don’t hear about. Maybe because the people currently suffering under the crisis — and yes, I call it a “crisis” and I’m aware that fashionable pundits will call me crazy or delusional — but because the victims of this crisis are poor and working-class, the entire problem is being ignored and swept under the rug. No longer!
911 Operator: Again, sir, is this an emergency?
Cory Booker: You’re not listening. I am going to blow the lid off this thing! Consequences be damned!
End Call
Sunday
Start Call
911 Operator: This is the 911 operator, what is your emergency?
Cory Booker: This is Senator Cory Booker. I want to report that the Twin Towers in Manhattan’s downtown financial district have been struck by what appear to be two passenger jets that have been hijacked by terrorists.
911 Operator: Sir, what is your current location?
Cory Booker: It doesn’t matter where I am, don’t you see? The point is, the buildings are burning. And I am racing there to rescue whoever I can.
911 Operator: Sir, are you reporting a current fire emergency?
Cory Booker: Will I be in personal danger? Yeah, sure, I guess. Does that matter to me? Are you kidding? I don’t even think that way. I am going to run into those burning buildings and save every life I can, and if people call me “hero” or “brave,” so be it.
911 Operator: Sir, please give me your current location and the location of the emergency.
Cory Booker: Downtown Manhattan. Twin Towers.
911 Operator: Sir, the Twin Towers were destroyed 17 years ago. Currently at that location is what is called the Freedom Tower, a high-end retail mall, and a moving memorial to the victims of the terror attack and the first responders who lost their lives during the rescue.
Cory Booker: Yes. Yes, I knew that. But I don’t think any of that lessens my personal heroism. And if I could just add, at this juncture —
End Call
Monday
Start Call
911 Operator: This is the 911 operator, what is your emergency? Wait a minute. Is this Cory Booker?
Cory Booker: Maybe. Why do you ask?
911 Operator: Sir, you have been asked to stop making 911 calls.
Cory Booker: Can I just — this one — I’m serious about this one — look, I know, okay, that sometimes I’ve been a little late with some of this stuff —
911 Operator: Sir, there are emergencies waiting to —
Cory Booker: Can I finish? Seriously. This is a real one.
911 Operator: Okay. Fine. What is your emergency?
Cory Booker: Tropical Storm Katrina is building into a Category 5 hurricane off the Gulf Coast. If it hits the levees along Lake Pontchartrain, just above New Orleans’ Ninth Ward —
911 Operator: Sir, stop.
Cory Booker: I am heading down there to personally reinforce those levees and save the city.
911 Operator: Stop.
Cory Booker: Is my life in danger? Yes. Am I quote unquote a hero for doing this? Those are your words, not mine.

Me and Lems running the quiz by @SgtAngua_CW
This year was my fifth Nineworlds and I think it was one of the best I’ve attended. For me it started on the Thursday evening with the Quiz that I co-write with my partner @pmsumner and some friends @lemlems and @euclidianboxes.  We were ably assisted on the evening by @boneist and @SgtAngua_CW.  I love running the quiz, its one of only two items going on so we get to see lots of people.
If you are interested in our quiz you can find our questions here and our answers here.
The final scores from the teams were tight.  Prizes were provided by Nineworlds Ents and ourselves.
Tumblr media
Final scores
It went well as far as I can tell and the feedback we got was overwhelmingly positive.
Amethysts unite
Friday started with a very early breakfast and then I costumed up into my Amethyst costume.  Before heading to the Steven Universe Singalong.  10 am is a bit early for a singalong, I know my voice wasn’t ready but a good time was had.
The Hamilton Phenomenon is The Room Where It Happens, which is on your maps as Mancy. pic.twitter.com/Pe1EmftCUp
— Nine Worlds 2018 (@London_Geekfest) August 10, 2018
Hamilton Panel by @boneist
I then took part in my first panel as a panellist.  The Hamilton Phenomenon with Genevieve Cogman, Russell Smith, Rebecca Bellovin and Emily January.  The panel went mostly okay, there were so many things I wanted to say but didn’t get a chance to which was partly down to me not being assertive enough and partly there was never going to be enough time for everyone to say everything they wanted.  The feedback was that I came across as knowledgeable and I think next year I will put myself forward for more panels. One thing I was not comfortable with was having a panel about Hamilton with only one BAME person. I know that a call was put out for BAME participants but the demographic at NW is overwhelmingly white it was not possible.
Next up was Fit is a Feminist Issue which was a round table discussion about being fit at every size which was a very positive message, but some of the stories that came out were very close to home for me and I found it really tough going and I have been left with the knowledge I need to do some work on being kinder to myself.
Everybody Hates Moral Philosophy was a Good Place talk and it was interesting but I think I would have preferred a  discussion.
The Disney Sing along was tremendous and if to want to know what catharsis looks like its a stage full of people singing Let it Go.  There is video footage floating around on facebook.
Policy and Administration celebrating the back room in genre was excellent and very well attended.  Because really how can anyone teach at Hogwarts without a PGCE or equivalent? This was very tongue in cheek and lots of fun.
Friday evening was Knightmare live time which was excellent  and lots of fun.  After that there was much talking some plotting and putting the world to rights.  Also we have sorted all the Avengers into their Hogwarts houses with lots of debate.
Saturday
Takarzuka Genevieve Cogman gave a talk with clips about the Takarzuka company in Japan and it was fascinating talk – because who knew there was a Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney as well as some lovely clips from Elizabeth and Dracula.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child an appreciation panel.  I really enjoyed this as I’ve only recently seen Cursed Child myself and I loved it.  The discussion ranged from very insightful to naive and back again especially when suggesting that the play should be made more available for fans to watch and should be recorded.
Top of the SFF Cops. 3 panelists with a background in law enforcement. They each got to pick two of their favourite fictional cops and build a case for them being effective police officers.  Long story short the best cop won Sam Vimes from Ankh Morpork’s City’s watch
swords!
Swordpunk this was a workshop where I was let loose with a real sword that came up to my chest.  I learnt that I would actually be rubbish at this in a live situation, however, I got to feel like a complete badass for an hour and it was excellent.
Whedon Sing along. Yes Joss Whedon is increasingly problematic.  But the songs from Once More with Feeling and Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog are excellent and there is something joyous about singing with a large group of people.  I did say that the singalongs did feel like geek church and that was nice.
I think that we should re-evaluate whether we should still be venerating Joss Whedon as he has become increasingly problematic to say the least and sing as songs in other sessions were policed it would be good to know that we were treating all sessions the same.
Black Sails Panel
Black sails: an intersectional look at sexuality and queer representation. This was a highlight panel for me.  I met some wonderful people last year at the informal Black Sails meet up and to see there was a panel this year was fantastic.  Moderated really well with some fantastic panelists who were really knew their stuff.  Also this panel included Luke Arnold who plays Silver in the show who was absolutely lovely and though he could have taken over the panel, he didn’t he listened and he offered some real insights without giving away too much.
Luke Arnold
Oh and this happened.
Luke Arnold and me
After that was the Disco and I may have thrown some serious shapes.
Sunday I was broken.  I only made it to two panels.  The first being Fat representation in geek culture 2 which was chaotic but fantastic. We came away with the recommendation of Dietland which I’ve since started watching and OMG YASS I didn’t know I needed that show in my life.  I suggest you watch it too.
The Future of Nineworlds was important,  Nineworlds will be reconstituting and Dan will be relinquishing control.  They are opening up to new people to take over and the post on their website explains everything. https://nineworlds.co.uk/future
Tumblr media
Important thing that happened. I am not really in a position to comment on this but I was in the room and this is accurate.   https://blackfemgeekery.wordpress.com/2018/08/12/white-worlds/
Nineworlds tries really hard, but it is not perfect.  The organisation wants to do better and they have said they will take this on board and work on it for next year.
I had a very good nine worlds.  I met some wonderful people as I do every year.  I stepped outside of my comfort zone as I took on leading the organising of the quiz, I appeared on my first panel and I played with real swords.  I charged the stage to sing let it go and I got very enthusiastic on the dance floor particularly when Public Service Broadcasting was being played.
My takeaway from nineworlds is to get anything out of nine worlds you have to engage you have to participate and be willing to take some risks.  It is my favourite convention and I hope that it comes back next year and I will be there when it does.

13 Resipi Viral Menggunakan Roti Putih Yang Popular. | Selera Kita
Selamat mencuba!
  1. KARIPAP ROTI SEDAP DAN SEMPOI
BAHAN-BAHAN:
Roti gardenia (berapa keping korang nak)
Inti (resepi ni guna inti karipap)
Tepung jagung (kalo xde guna tepung gandum pon bole)
Air
*sila bancuhkan tepung jagung dgn air dgn kelikatan yg agak likat jugak macam gam
CARA MEMASAK:
Mula2 kita prepare kulit nya dulu
Roti gardenia sekeping demi sekeping digelek, untuk kasi nipis, make sure bhgn tepi tu ditrim
lepas tu sapukan bancuhan tepung jagung dengan air tadi di sekeliling roti (tengok pic), untuk tujuan menge’gam’ kan dia
letak inti kat tengah2 roti tadi
Kemudian sila la cantumkan hujung ke hujung roti membentuk segitiga. alah cam nak buat sandwich tu.
Pastu amik garfu then tekan2 kan kat keliling bahagian yang dicantumkan tadi.
Tujuannye nak kasi tutup rapat, lagi satu elok sikit menengoknye dak.
So sila la buat utk kesemua roti anda satu demi satu.
eh tu goreng.sila jgn guna minyak yg terlalu banyak ok.
Siap. Inilah dia karipap roti anda yg dah siap untuk dingap
Kredit: Canteq.blogspot
  2. CUCUR ROTI
BAHAN-BAHAN:
5 keping roti putih (potong dadu kecil2)
2 biji bawang merah (potong dadu kecil2)
1 biji cili merah (potong dadu kecil2)
2 biji telur ayam
2 sudu besar tepung gandum
2 tangkai daun sup dan bawang (hiris halus)
Sedikit ikan bilis (ditumbuk)
1/2 sudu kecil serbuk kunyit
Garam secukup rasa
Sedikit air
CARA MEMASAK:
Gaul kesemua badan sehingga sebati. Masukkan air sikit demi sedikit. Jangan terlalu banyak. Nanti cair tak sedap pula.
Panaskan minyak dan buat jemput2 bulat. Goreng dengan api sederhana
Terbalikkan cucur tersebut, dan biarkan seketika. Lepas tu boleh angkat.

  3. ROTI KAYA GORENG BUTTER
BAHAN-BAHAN:
2 biji telur
4-5 keping roti putih
kaya secukupnya
1sm susu cair @ segar
garam dan serbuk lada sulah secukupnya
sedikit butter
sedikit gula icing
CARA MEMASAK: 1. Telur, susu, garam, lada sulah- dipukul sebati. 2. Sapu kaya pada roti, lipat dua jadikan 3 segi. 3. Celupkan dalam bancuhan telur, biarkan sebentar. 4. Panaskan butter dalam kuali non stick, masuk roti tadi, goreng hingga garing. Balik balikkan supaya semua sisi masak. 5. Angkat, sejukkan sebentar dan taburkan gula icing jika suka.
  4. ROTI GORENG SOSEJ
BAHAN-BAHAN:
Roti keping (terpulang jenama apa tapi saya guna Gardenia)
Sosej
Telur
Secubit garam dan gula
Sedikit tepung gandum/tepung beras
Sedikit soda bikarbonat (agen perangup)
Sedikit tepung gandum (untuk dijadikan gam dicampurkan sedikit ke dlm telur)
CARA MEMASAK:
Potong sosej mengikut selera anda.
Setelah keperangan, angkat roti.Roti telur cheese sedia untuk di hidang
  6. MUFFIN ROTI BUTTERSCOTCH
BAHAN-BAHAN:
12 – 16 keping roti gardenia butterscotch
3 biji telur
2 cawan susu segar
1 cawan tepung
1 sudu teh baking powder
1sudu teh esen vanilla
3 batang sosej
Cheese mozarella
CARA MEMASAK:
Kredit: resepicikguani.blogspot.my
7. ROTI EPAL PIE
BAHAN-BAHAN:
10 keping roti putih
Minyak untuk goreng
Inti:- untuk 8-10 pie
3 biji green apple
3 sudu brown sugar
1 sudu tepung jagung/tepung gandum
1 sudu butter
1/2 sudu teh cinnamon powder
Secubit garam
Gam: 1 sudu besar tepung gandum bancuh dengan 2 sudu air
CARA MEMASAK:
Kupas kulit apple
Belah 6.Buang tengahnya yang keras & potong dadu
Panaskan pan & masukkan apple, cinnamon powder, butter, garam & kacau hingga gula cair.

How to read Nordic runes
Reading Runes is one of the most popular methods of Mancy (Divination).  There are different kinds of Rune stones depending on which alphabet you choose to follow; Anglo-Saxon Futhorc,  Cirth, Elder Futhark, Gothic Runes, Hungarian Runes, Turkic, Younger Futhork.  Elder Futhark is the emerging Rune alphabet in popularity; it is also known as the alphabet with the “blank”.
Runes are an ancient form of oracle used by those seeking advice. Runes have a long history, dating back to ancient use by Germanic and Nordic tribes, and are still widely used in today’s society. Anyone can have a rune reading, but it’s also fun to be able to learn how to use them yourself. Here’s a guide to all you need to get started with using runes.
When you’re first starting out and discovering if you like rune casting, then a simple set will be sufficient.
However, once you’ve practiced for a while and developed a passion for runes, then it’s lovely to be able to choose and buy a special set. If you’re drawn to a certain crystal, such as rose quartz or amethyst, then perhaps investing in a crystal set of runes would be appropriate. Or you can buy a set carved into simplistic pebbles or small pieces of stone.
Either way, the material the runes are made of is a very personal choice and it’s what you do with them that really matters.
How Easy Is It To Interpret Runes?
Like any form of divination or oracle reading, it can take time to master the art of reading the runes. There are books and guides available to help you understand the runic meanings and their significance in your life, and to the questions and issues you’re exploring, and with practice it does get easier
What Can Runes Be Used For?
The runes can be used to help guide you through problems or issues and help show you what is likely to happen. They’re not a form of fortune-telling and don’t offer exact answers or give you advice – rather they offer different variables and suggest how you could behave if the event does occur. Runes are known for hinting towards answers, but leaving you to work out the details, which is where intuition is helpful.
Runic readers acknowledge that the future isn’t fixed and that individuals have the power to follow their own path and make their own decisions. So if you don’t like the guidance that a rune reading provides, you’ve got the power to change your direction, or your path, and follow a different route.
Runes can be used in many different situations. For example, one of the occasions when it can be useful to consult the runes is if you’re in a situation where you have limited information, or can only see an incomplete picture.
  What Are Runes?
The word ‘rune’ simply means mystery, whisper or secret and it’s a form of divination or oracle reading system that’s used to help gain insight into situations or questions. Runes can be made of various materials, but are most commonly made of stone, and feature a symbol from the runic alphabet on them.
There are various different types of runic alphabets used on runes, with one of the oldest ones being the old Germanic runic alphabet known as ‘Elder Futhark’. The Elder Futhark contains 24 runes, the first six of which spell out the word ‘futhark’.
Method #1: With your runes in their pouch close your eyes, concentrate on what you want an answer for (past situation, present situation or future situation) and chose a rune from the bag as your answer.
Method #2:Gently toss the runes from the bag onto a soft surface and the runes while thinking of what you want an answer for (past situation, present situation or future situation) and the rune(s) that stand out the most to you is your answer.
Method #3: Lay the runes out in grid and let your hand pass over the runes slowly while concentrating on what you want an answer for (past situation, present situation or future situation). Use your left hand if you are right-handed and your right hand if you are left-handed. You will sense the rune that holds the answer to your question.
Method #4: With your eyes closed and while in a neutral state of mind draw three runes from the bag and line them up. The first rune is an answer to a past situation, the second one is an answer to a present situation and the last is an answer to a future situation.
Step 1: Reading the Two-Rune Draw
Using a method of your choice  specified on the intro choose two runes and place them side-by-side.  The two runes will either strengthen one another or oppose one another.  If they are like-meaning they will assist each other in a supportive way for you.  If they oppose one another it is considered a draw in most situations.  In some situations is can represent what is wrong and what needs to happen for it to be fixed.
Step 2: Reading Three Norns
Rune far left: Norn Urd; the past- past actions & situations that relate to the question you asked
Rune middle: Norn Skuld; the future- what will likely happen to answer your question
Rune far right: Norn Verdandi; the present- what is influencing you right now
Step 3: Reading Triple-Rune Challenge
Rune bottom: the present- what influences you right now
Rune middle: upcoming challenges & what you must do
Rune top: what is likely to happen as a result of the challenge

Rune right: Present desires & feelings related to the question
Rune left: Desires & feelings of others related to the question

Step 6: Reading Five-Rune Layout
Rune bottom: Basic influences that impact the question
Rune far left: Problems that may influence the question
Rune top: Positives that may influence the question
Rune far right: Immediate answer to the question
Rune middle: Future influences to the question
Step 7: Reading Insight Layout

Runes fifth & sixth: Shows you the guidance the runes are giving you
Runes seventh: Possible outcome; if this rune is positive & all the previous runes are positive this will be a positive result, if the rune is negative & all the previous runes are negative this will be a negative result.

Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention) (16) Megapolisomancy
TOP TENS – MYTHOLOGY: TOP 10 MANCY (SPECIAL MENTION) (16) MEGAPOLISOMANCY Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light? I didn’t make this one up – fantasy and SF writer Fritz Leiber did, the plot concept behind his literal urban fantasy novel Our Lady of Darkness. Essentially it’s a type of divination or magic formed from large cities (Leiber’s city of residence San Francisco), that…

Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention) (15) Discomancy
  (15) DISCOMANCY Yes, I made this one up, for latter day dervishes as it were, prompted by my other invention dipsomancy – with which one suspects discomancy would commonly overlap. Yes, it’s a playful reference to the visual or sensory ambience of participants in contemporary dance music having something of the same dramatic or ritual resonance of divination or magic. Also shufflemancy – a…

Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention) (14) Dipsomancy
  (14) DIPSOMANCY (MARGARITOMANCY) Sometimes you drink the bottle and sometimes the bottle drinks you. Essentially a narrower subset of narcomancy, dipsomancy is what I’ve coined for divination by alcohol or drunkeness – from the same Greek root (dipso- for thirst) that gives us dipsomania, a fancy word for alcoholism. Again there’s some fun fantasy potential for dipsomancy as a magical way of…

(13) NARCOMANCY “And all should cry, Beware! Beware! His flashing eyes, his floating hair! Weave a circle round him thrice, And close your eyes with holy dread For he on honey-dew hath fed, And drunk the milk of Paradise” And now we come to my wild-tier, more playful entries I (mostly) made up for special mention. And yes – that opening quote is from Kubla Khan, or Samuel Taylor Coleridge playing…

  (12) SCIOMANCY “And I will show you something different from either Your shadow at morning striding behind you Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you” Literally a divination from or of shadows, although Wikipedia’s list of methods of divination also includes it as divination by spirits, presumably along the lines of the usage of shades for spirits or ghosts in the underworld, a meaning in…

Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention) (11) Abacomancy
(11) ABACOMANCY “I will show you fear in a handful of dust” “Ah what a dusty answer gets the soul When hot for certainties in this our life” I could do these dusty quotes all day, although apparently dusty answer has become a term used for unsatisfactory reply, which does not bode well for abacomancy or divination by dust. However, I just couldn’t resist special mention for it and not just…

Top Tens - Mythology: Top 10 Mancy (Special Mention): (7) Botanomancy
  (7) BOTANOMANCY “The force that through the green fuse drives the flower” Sadly, botanomancy or divination by plants seems to get short shrift compared to theriomancy or divination by animals, even though both probably originate in prehistory – with prehistoric humans depending as much on observations of plant life as they did animal life. Even the term botanomancy itself is read more narrowly,…
