did i just watch silver war again last night and does the little poo boy line make me laugh every time? yes and yes. 😂 just a quick little something to flex the tiva muscle ☺️

“Dad, you are literally so embarrassing,” Tali huffs, rolling her eyes.

Tony squints at the preteen, eyebrows drawn together over his nose. “Au contraire, mon petite amour! This doesn’t even come close to the most embarrassing moment a DiNozzo child has suffered at the hands of their father,” he gestures with one hand, stabbing the air for emphasis.

“Oh no,” Ziva sighs, settling down on a nearby bench, biting into a Mickey Mouse shaped cake pop. “Here he goes.”

Tali looks curiously between her parents and blinks when Tony starts up again.

“When I was your age,” he gives a dramatic shudder, “do you know what Pop Pop made me do?”

“No…” Tali says slowly, inching away from Tony and closer to Ziva.

“He made me join him during Civil War reenactments, that’s what,” Tony continues, bobbling his head so that the giant Goofy hat and ears wobble precariously. He looks insane, Ziva thinks mildly, biting into her treat again.

Tali scrunches her nose and looks confused. “That’s not that embarrassing. Uncle Tim plays Dungeons and Dragons, that’s the same thing,” she points out.

“Don’t let Uncle Tim hear you say that,” Ziva murmurs, mirth bubbling in her tone.

“Hah!” Tony jabs the air again. “I was the little poo boy! That’s what’s embarrassing! I could’ve had you be the little poo girl in a reenactment, but you got lucky that all I wanted was to wear this hat in the park.”

Tali looks horrified, likely more because Tony’s shouted the word ‘poo’ than anything else. Ziva smothers her laughter behind her hand and both father and daughter whip their heads around to look at her. She widens her eyes innocently.

“What?” She asks. “You are both crazy, now let’s go. I want to ride the boat with the singing robots. The one with the catchy song, yes?”

“Noooo,” two simultaneous wails. “Not small world!”

Ziva stands and brushes off her hands, humming the little tune with a faint smile on her face, having successfully distracted the little poo boy and girl.
