Leroy traffik: while he was driving to radiator springs he stopped at a bar and woke up to find himself inside a museum 300 miles away.

Chuck manifold: accidentally ate a really hot pepper while trying to get into the racetrack and had to miss out on an interview chance with lightning McQueen

Bertha butterswagon: she is a HUGE fan of lightning McQueen. Her room alone is painted red with lightning bolts all over, of course she would never let anyone know about this though.

Tony Trihull: he didn’t “die”. Although he was exploded, he was recovered by a group of lemons that escaped being arrested and got fixed up after 2 years of hard work. He later went on to become a lawyer and got happily married to a cruise ship.

The Popemobile (not the pope itself but the Popemobile): they got their job as hauler of the pope after showing up and asking for it drunk.

Topper deckington lll: he managed to land himself a job working for a small business in Japan after moving away from London to “find himself”

Caleb worley: he got into a bad crash after driving bumper first into a buidling (jet Robinson dared him to do it)

Scott tiller: idfk if he’s even sentient or not but for this I’m assuming he is. He can not sleep no matter what. Nothing can make him sleep. He spends every waking second of his life on the job, and he loves it.

Steve hearsell: got arrested for 3 accounts of break in, assault, and robbery. Later changed his name to randy and worked at that creepy fucking hotel from cars on the road.

The Fall

The skies were dark. Cloudy.

Bucky took a deep breath and tightened his grip on his tiller. He could hear Steve's voice in the back of his mind, shouting at him for being foolish, for taking his life into his hands and then tossing it at the sea's mercy. Bucky couldn't help a snort. The sea had no mercy. She did what she liked.

He could see the island he was sailing toward in the distance. It kept being blocked by the waves being brought on by the storm, something his little dinghy was ill-equipped for. He was confident he could get to the island if he could beat the storm halfway. It would just blow him in the rest of the way.

He wasn't as confident that he would beat the storm halfway. He thought about turning back, but he got the feeling it was too late to do that, too. No one would be bringing their boat out after him to drag him from the water until the storm was over. He wouldn't survive the cold ocean that long if--when, he admitted to himself--his boat capsized. If he kept toward the island, he'd at least have the chance to be rescued there.

The rip he'd darned a few months ago in his sail ripped open as the wind tore at it. He wanted to swear but couldn't find the time to as his tiller jerked in his grip at the change in speed. He should have listened to Tony and gotten a new sail as soon as storm season had started brewing this year. He'd been too confident in his mending skills. Too confident in his sailing skills. Too confident in the sea.

Too confident all around, he sighed, as the sound of wood splintering reached him.

The sea was dark, Bucky noticed, before he realized he was actually in it. He clawed his way around, but the water was frothy. He couldn't figure out which way was up. Something hit his arm--part of his boat, probably. It hurt, a lot, but he grabbed for it blindly, because the wood would hopefully float and take him with it.

He was too heavy, he realized after a moment. The piece of wood was small. He held it in front of his face, making sure he could see it, then let it go. It fluttered about before drifting toward his feet. He was upside-down in the water. He turned, trying to follow the piece of wood as it rose toward the choppy surface, the distance seemed insurmountable. He was so deep, still disoriented, and there was no light, so he wasn't sure he could keep going in the right direction. He'd lose his breath and fall deeper with the weight of his wet clothes. He couldn't... wouldn't make it.

He only had one chance. So Bucky opened his mouth and screamed.

It was probably foolish. He'd probably drown. He figured he'd deserve it.

He saw a flash of glowing blue in the distance. He wondered if it was Tony, or if it was his dying brain hoping.

He hoped it was Tony.

The latest weird verbal stim/tic my brain has latched onto and started repeatedly throwing at me appears to be “Richie Tozier was fucking murdered!”

Seems that my brain has somehow conflated a line from the film Hot Fuzz with a character from Stephen King’s It. It is possible this also has something to do with a fic for the Muscietti films I read recently, in which a character yells “Richie Tozier’s gonna marry me”, and now that’s got lodged in my head and something about the rhythm of it is causing me to mix up the two lines. Oddly, my brain doesn’t seem to be very interested in saying “Leslie Tiller’s gonna marry me”.

I’m not entirely sure why these things get stuck in my head. It’s almost certainly an autism thing, and in particular a form of stimming that the Tony Atwood books didn’t tell me about as a teenager. Suffice to say that in times of considerable stress or discomfort or embarrassment, I now get this urge to yell “Richie Tozier was fucking murdered”, and that’s a really weird thing to try to explain to people.

Happy New Year!

Another year and yes, another 100 songs. However, it does not appear to be a distinguishable year by any means. Or does it mean, that I’m just older and less impressionable. There are cool new features, including Chloe X Halle, Amber Mark, and Ravyn Lenae. 

However, the year appears to be a hold over from last year. More Khalid, H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, Gallant, and Tom Misch.

Childish Gambino is a star. Janelle Monae seems to cross over a little more/

Pop appears to have languished for me, there is some Demi, some Mark Foster, and Troye Sivan.

I get more play from NAO and Alina Baraz

But 2018 just didn’t seem to land big with me, musically.

Or maybe, I’m just down with all the throwback, Maxwell, Tamia, and Toni.

Loki derived a sick pleasure from Stark's panic, a contrast from the arrogance the man had shown in his own territory. The usurping king stepped into the Bifrost chamber from the swirling portal and spared a glance to his partner in crime, the man who had replaced Heimdall. 

"Your majesty," Skurge proclaimed with enthusiasm. "Your chariot awaits."

Despite Tony's protests, Loki gave a gracious nod and bore his captive to the Rainbow Bridge. 

"Behold. Asgard," he said with pride. From here the chamber opened out into an expanse of sea; stars; and the gleaming gold of the city ahead, the palace looming beneath mountains. 

He stepped down to the side of the bridge, onto a waiting golden boat that hovered in the air. It shimmered for a moment, betraying its cloaking capabilities - a feature he'd had implemented specially. The cloak sealed over their heads when Loki set Stark down inside the craft, propping him up in his armour to allow him to get the best view of the city possible.

"I want to show you my home." It was not the full truth, nor was it a lie. The god of mischief brought his long fingers to the tiller of the skiff and brought it to life with the illumination of runes. The skiff shot unseen toward Asgard.

"FUCK OFF!" Panic clawed it's way up his chest at the realisation that this was not a figment of his imagination. No, this was very much real. He knew very well that he was no match for the trickster in his current condition and it was what scared him even more

Getting picked up with ease has him feeling sick, their difference in power glaringly obvious with such a small move already. What would happen to him now?

The blinding light of the bifrost has him closing his eyes on instinct, turning his head away as best as he could. It was over as quick as it had started and he carefully opened his eyes again, slowly taking in his surroundings.

He could feel warmth, there was none of that biting siberian cold he had been subjected to moments ago. "Where are we? What do you want?!" The questions were out of his mouth before he could stop them. Would Loki even bother to give him an answer? The god surely must have some ulterior motives.

Allowing yourself to take constant mental abuse from your ex was past exhausting at this point. Screaming at each other and then hooking up on the weekends was far from a healthy relationship and you knew that well. Tony didn’t need to know about how you felt about your past relationship yet, it was clear he was aware. His eyes lingered on you far longer than before, reading that you weren’t completely there.

“What’s going on, genie?”

Your head rested against his plated chest and you nuzzled in deeper with a groan.

“It’s nothing, just been a long day,” you sighed.

Tony squeezed your shoulder and ran his palm up to your collarbone and back down again.
