Which is all to say that when the “trooper,” a glorified droid, hands you a baby, you freeze.

On the outside, you’re impassive. Unmoving, unfeeling, unruffled. Inside, there’s a buzzing taking up residence in your brain. Something fuzzy and uncomfortable.

You hold the child by the waist at a healthy distance. It looks afraid. You don’t blame it. The hangar of Gideon’s cruiser is a cold, desolate place. You are a cold, unwelcoming face.

I have a new Az fic I’m writing and a Rhys fic that was requested for my celebration in July.

But after those I am planning to finish up the second part of Clouded and then finish off the mini series Incompatible!

After that I plan to completely finish my Az series a Finding Home :)

i could go on and on about every individual thing i loved BUT i feel too crazy right now. ONE BIG THING THOUGH - the characterization? PERFECT. every single character was written SO INSANELY GOOD it's like i could hear the dialogue in their voices ESPECIALLY TUBBO. the part where pac talks to 'the voices' about not kissing fit made me giggle so hard it was so great:!&;-$!;/!( and just the writing in general was incredible!!!

My husband got my family and his family in on a birthday surprise for me and I—

I have wanted this so bad that it hurt since it came out. Like. Hurt in my chest to see it on the display at the store and know it was like eternally out of budget. No way I could ever justify that.

I hate my birthday and I hate receiving gifts but
