Fun fact: the Tomenosuke Blade Runner Blaster + steel barrel upgrade is both bigger and heavier than a fully loaded Beretta 92FS. I see why Deckard wears his open carry with a trench coat because conceal carrying the blaster would be impractical.  I’m still wanting to save up and source a steel cylinder upgrade from Prop Summit forums. I don’t have the hardware to machine a .44spl Bulldog cylinder to fit the Tomenosuke’s ejector rod into it.

Apparently it’s hard to find replacement grips for Rossi Cyclops M988s. Even though I do cosplay & propmaking, I had all the tools to make my own grips out of some walnut & TruOil. These adopt some of the shapes & characteristics of the Blade Runner blaster’s grips since I have a Tomenosuke 2049 blaster to use as reference. I’ve slowly been restoring and fixing up this revolver since I inherited it. I still need to polish out some of the more visible scratches on the cylinder & barrel.
