Ooooo I cannot wait to see this boy's angst. I mean, he ligit put his own father behind bars as Chat Noir but he will always only be known as Hawkmoths son and therefore hated by everyone dispite the fact hes innocent (I'm kind of thinking like a Naruto thing where even though hes innocent everyone sees him as a reminder or placeholder of the evil thing and secluded him more) as such poor boy has got like zero friends and human inteactions. Plus no one would ever even WANT to hire him because of suspicion and hatred so the fact the Tom and Seline hired him is a mere miracle itself.

I'm just waiting to see this boy who absolutely sees through Marinette and KNOWS she hates him because of his Dad but is just left with having to wait it out and put up with all her 'hidden questions' that he has to answer literally anytime he meets anyone

Adrien sees her hands grip her bookbag straps and the way her eyes darken while a forced smile pushes across her lips.

"I-its nice to meet you too" Marinette's voice comes out in a stern manner that makes it clear that meeting him is anything but nice.

He keeps his own smile light in her direction-which he knows for a fact appears more genuine then hers "You're parents said you were studying under Audre Bougious in the states! You must be an incredibly talented designer. " Marinette's features continued to strain themselves in maintaining her smile but it was clear she was uncomfortable. It as though she seemed to think that him knowing about what she did for a living was a threat to her saftey. Adrien listen as Seline, with her hand on Marinette's shoulder oblivious of the girl's mood actively praise her daughter's skills. He allowed himself to listen once again to the familiar words of Marinette's success in the states. Seline and Tom's words filled with warmth and love seemed to bathe the bakery with light.

Adrien could happily listen to their voices for hours but witnessing Marinette's smile begin to loose its control, calmly excused himself to pull another batch of bread out of the oven before she could loose her temper. He had heard that she felt wholeheartedly and vigorously. She didn't deserve to face uncomfortable tension because of him more than she needed too upon her return

He hears the Dupain-Cheng's excited voices fade behind him as they help their daughter move her things backup stairs. He finally allows his smile to fall and pushes his bangs back in frustration. Just once. He had hoped that just this once he could meet someone who wasn't aware of who he was. That he could make a real friend with someone who hadn't been traumatized by his father and held it against him. Someone he didn't have to defend his existence too.

Since his father had been arrested, everything in his life fell apart. From ladybug disappearing, Plagg going dormant, Nathalie leaving and his inheritance been seized by the French Government for compensation; Paris's treatment towards him was by far the worst. He couldn't go anywhere without looks of fear, pity or hatred. It was as if all of Paris saw his father when they looked at him. Adrien snarls to himself as he shakes the bread onto a drying rack and positions the new loaves in the oven. If he hadn't been poster boy for the Agreste brand no one would have known who he was. Confined to the house since birth, he used to live for modeling due to the fact it the only time he'd be allowed out. Now Adrien curses his father's move of capitalize off him instead of using a different model. A model who wouldn't have crashed and burned when their boss was arrested.

Adrien let's out a breath of hot air. Thinking of all this wasn't going to make anything change. He was lucky to have a job. /Blessed/ to have a landlord who accepted him as a tenant despite his relation with Paris's greatest supervillain. He pushed a smile back onto his face and worked on kneading more dough. Tom and Seline had been so kind in offering him a job, even more so for keeping him around through all his mistakes. He chuckles thinking of the way he had been able build an Effie tower out of his failed attempts. He loved it in the bakery, working with his hands and being surrounded by Tom and Sabine's love was a comfort he had never truly known before. He folded another layer of bread, working in the bakery with them was almost a fun as jumping rooftops as Chat-

A sharp gasp alerted him to someone else's presence. He turned quickly toward it, looking at the side door that lead upstairs to the Dupain-Cheng's apartment.

"Sorry," Marinette mumbled out, her hand gripping the doorframe "I thought...I thought I saw something"

"Oh?" Adrien looked around, "what did you see"

Her eyes darken again. "Nothing. Don't worry about. Ma Mére wanted me to invite you for dinner."

Adrian's fingers squeeze at the dough. It wasn't really an invitation. More a statement that she obviously didn't want to repeat. Still, he'd be seeing more of her than she thought. He practically lived here anyway, coming in from dawn to dusk. Might as well get her used to his presence while her parents were around to play referee.

"I'd love too!"

"-Great-I'll let her know."

Adrien flashed her an innocent grin and turned back to his work so she could leave without feeling he was watching her. He felt her eyes on him a moment longer before vanishing and her footsteps make their way upstairs.

He pushed the dough against the counter. This was going to take some effort.

Would you do a fic/imagine of the black hood coming back during the election and outing FP and Freds relationship to everyone and the backlash of that? How would the kids take it?

GOD THIS IS LIKE MY #1 DREAM!!!!!!! I would pay someone good money to fic this. I wish someone else would fill this i just want to read it but ok here goes: 

here’s how i see it starting: 1. the black hood outs fred and fp principally by leaking pictures of them doing it up against a wall in cowboy boots but he’s also sure to make a big stink about how fred is a DEVIANT and an ADULTERER and a HOMEWRECKER and is sleeping with a GANG MEMBER and IS THIS WHO YOU WANT FOR MAYOR, leaving notes about it and shattering fred’s reputation. he’d built his whole platform on being this selfless, squeaky-clean, all american father and now it’s all gone south. 2. the black hood’s outing them as a couple, but he’s also kind of just outing them period point blank. fp’s never come out as bi to anyone but fred and maybe gladys. fred’s out to people who know him but he definitely doesn’t broadcast it: it’s a small town and it’s in his best interest to keep it hushed up - but most of all, it’s in archie’s best interest. he’s been terrified all his son’s life of people making fun of archie if they got wind that his dad was bi and he wants archie to have every opportunity and not to be mocked or made to feel ashamed. he’s had the conversation with archie, but they don’t make a lot of space for it in their relationship and he’s scared of archie being ashamed of him somehow - he knows archie has gay friends but he also knows it’s different when its someone you love. they've never talked about it a lot and to have this dragged out in front of his son as well as everyone else before he was prepared for it hurts in ways he can’t describe. 3. shame. fred’s not ashamed of who he is and he’s definitely not ashamed of who he loves (fp whole jones) but the fact that everyone in town including his son has seen these pictures of them going at it and the fact that this whole thing was preventable if he could have just kept it in his pants is a big source of shame for him especially because this is hurting fp and archie and even mary indirectly, even if she claims she doesn’t care what people say about her. these are the people he cares about most in the world and he’s ashamed to have let them down. plus everyone’s going out of their way to remind him this is a shameful thing for a mayoral candidate to be doing and he’s absolutely drowning in it. 4. there’s backlash, both homophobic and also because of the north/southside gang thing. and people in small towns are not afraid of crossing any lines. fred gets shit spray painted on his garage, on his driveway, his workplace. his car is vandalized, his house is vandalized, people make out flyers and pass them out on the streets claiming he’s a danger to children / telling people not to vote for him. they’re stapled to lightposts and stuffed in his mail box. he’s not allowed to coach little league anymore. people don’t smile at him on the streets. everyone’s asking him when he became a serpent, but the serpents don’t want him as one of their own either because of the northside baggage and the potential for trouble he brings. 5. fred keeps his head up through all of that, but then archie takes it badly and that’s what has him crying himself to sleep every night over it. archie's embarassed and he's angry and he doesn't want to come home for dinner anymore and he won't look his dad in the eye when he tries to explain and his vendetta against the northside just gets stronger. he's convinced this is fp's fault and hiram's telling him all these nice sounding things that make him feel better so his support of hiram only gets stronger and he has nothing but disdain for his dad. he's embarassed and he doesn't know how to react. fp tries to talk to archie but he won't listen. eventually he has a character arc where they reconcile and it plays out with lots of hugs and tears but it takes awhile to get there. 6. the parents!! hal feels awkward about the whole thing and isn't sure how to approach it, he just keeps his head down and keeps supporting hiram's campaign and avoiding fred's eyes when they're in public. alice wouldn't wish what fred is going through on her worst pta enemy and actually does a 180 and starts supporting the shit out of him and yelling at everyone who she sees treating him badly. she tries to keep fred's morale up but it doesn't work very much. she buffs up her investigative skills and redoubles her efforts to catch the black hood with her bare hands. fred doesn't tell mary for a long time but rumours get back to her and then she's livid. mary tells fred to pack up archie and move to chicago with her. he declines and goes back to covering up the words serpent slut on his front door. hermione feels a slight twinge of sympathy, but ultimate it's just helping her campaign so she lets it happen. hiram loves the chaos and figures it's fred's own fault for having sex somewhere he could be seen by a camera. he has no remorse. sierra tries to be supportive. she had no idea fred and fp had been seeing each other since high school. she tries to give fred some PR 101 and seriously thinks he should avoid fp and the southside until it all blows over but fred won't listen. he refuses to deny anything or to avoid fp and sierra thinks he's working up to a PR nightmare but there's nothing she can do if he's refusing help. she complains about it to tom who feels really awkward about the whole thing. he didn't really know fred wasn't straight & as much as he does what he can when people are passing out flyers and breaking fred's windows, he's kind of at a loss for what to do. he wishes it had never happened and he's not willing for awhile to risk his own reputation to defend fred. finally he takes a good long look at his son and how bad it is for fred and remembers fp and fred as they were in high school  and he steps right up to let fred know he has his back and its really great. 7. the kids!! jughead knew for a long time fp was pining over fred but he didn't realize they were having secret hookups. he feels bad for them both and probably writes a lengthy op-ed that the blue and gold refuses to publish. betty didnt even know fred or fp were gay and is SHOOK but is ultimately on fred's side, even if she thinks he's irresponsible for letting it happen. veronica hates that her parents are capitalizing on this and wants to be behind fred 100% offering support, but her parents are pressuring her to keep her head down. moose wants to cry about the whole thing. fred doesn't deserve it but he has to act disgusted in front of his parents. josie knows what it's like to be treated like dirt because of your positionality in life and has her cat claws fully out for anyone who talks badly about fred. same with valerie and melody and the band is back together because i say so. reggie is a surprise - everyone's expecting him to be a homophobic jock about it but he's actually defending fred -while still making it clear that he'd NEVER take a dick up his butt!!- but hey, fred doesn't deserve to be shit on, there are bigger problems. he's still voting for fred. kevin also had no idea fred was gay and is kind of thrown for a loop about it. sure, yeah, he supports him, but did fred have to make it so easy for himself? kevin's been doing fine for years - almost being murdered in fox forest, but doing fine!!! - and it kind of rubs him the wrong way. everyone's expecting him to be really vocal but in his head fred kinda deserved it. kevin has some inherent biphobia to work through and he sees fred as marginally more privileged than himself and he wishes he wouldn't make such a big stink about it. none of this was happening when everyone knew he was gay. he's also just frustrated at the culture of the town - all this shit thrown at fred is a reminder of homophobic the town actually is and what they're capable of.  plus, everyone's acting like they've never heard of a gay person before and it irks him to no end. when he sees archie treating his dad like shit, though, he steps in fast as hell to oppose him. eventually he reconciles all his kinda problematic attitudes and then he's behind fred 100% supporting him.thank you for asking this!! As soon as he clicked enter, Lev felt all eyes in the room turn to him. He looked up; across from the table, Arki gave him a sympathetic glance. They all Knew, with a capital K. The glances, the casual touches, the way they laughed and smiled, more than they had in ages; it had been going on for months, and at first, honestly, it’d been sweet! Hell, Lev could appreciate a cute office romance.

As it dragged on, though, and neither of them acted on it the  obvious   chemistry or said something or   anything , it just turned incredibly frustrating. It had everyone groaning into their hands every time one complained about how the other   obviously deserved better,  somehow not volunteering herself. He was pretty sure even Gordon could tell.

Lev risked a glance at Donna; she seemed perfectly oblivious, typing away with a furrowed brow. This was, to be honest, the actual reason he’d made Mutiny Answers. One man couldn't decipher this alone.

Across the room, Donna’s knuckles went white where they clutched her mouse and her lips thinned into a tight line. Then she started typing again, in sharp rapid-fire jabs.

From the next room, Lev heard a sigh and the scrape of a chair, and a minute later, Tom walked by. “She’s impossible to talk to like this, when she’s caught up in something with Donna,” he said. “I’m gonna get a coffee someplace and wait for this to blow over. You wanna come?”

Lev sat there, frozen between guilt and nervous, panicky hilarity. “I’m the moderator,” he offered, shrugging.

Tom nodded knowingly. “Good luck, man.”

Lev sighed. Yeah, he was gonna need it.
