Why is no one doing anything?!

Just…the Mizo Middle Five now reduced to four taking Takemichi from his killers arms and into their own. All of them begging for him to open his eyes once more.

He hummed as he laid you back onto the mattress. Purposely taking his time just to make sure a possessive hand travels slowly down the exposed skin of your thighs. “I’ll talk to him. Rest for me, and when I'm done dealing with our son I'll come back to take care of you. Okay.”

"Oh it's just you. I thought it was mom.."

Kisaki hummed. "You wanna explain yourself?"

His son was hesitant. "The school already told you both. Why do I need to repeat it?"

Kisaki raised a brow. "You must really want to deal with your mom-- I guess I'll have to wake her u--"

"Okay!... I didn't mean to go into the girls locker room. It's so damn different here-- They use stupid pictures of animals for crying out loud!"

His father nodded. "I'm not stupid you know.."

Fuck! He was caught.. "Fineee!"

Kisaki wanted to laugh. His son was the exact copy of him when he was in school. Thick rimmed glasses, pale skin, even the same dark under cut and piercing grey eyes.. But the attitude? That was all his mother's..

"So I kinda like this girl alright. I didn't mean to follow her that long but I just got caught in the moment.. Next thing I knew, she turned around and started screaming. I didn't even notice all the naked girls around me."

His son threw his head back and sighed. "Now she'll never give me the light of day.--" He slowly looked at his dad.. "How did you get someone like mom?"

Kisaki was almost offended. " What's that supposed to mean?"

His son deadpanned. " Don't make me say it.. I've seen pictures of the two of you as teenagers. You were dorky dad.. And mom? Well, she was a babe.."

..... Ouch. But it was all true.

Kisaki looked around the room. " I'm not going to lie to you. It was a lot of work.. Especially for this life."

His son brought out a note book. " Can you tell me how?"

He opened his mouth only to be cut off by your call.

" Tetta! Can you bring me a cherry Popsicle?"

Happy wife, happy life right?

He smiled. "Hold that thought. I'll be back in a minute."

His son nodded and returned to whatever he was up to. Probably stalking this girl on her social media, Tik tack? or face space? or whatever kids used these days. How easy would it have been back then if that was popular while you both were growing up..

With furrowed browns he looked into the freezer. Grape, lime, pineapple, mango... No cherry?

"Baby! I'll be back. We're out of Cherry!"

He could hear you groan at having to wait for your craving. Pregnancy brain always made you impatient.

The streets were quiet and new. The people spoke a language he didn't really understand but he knew enough to get around.

"Why didn't you have one of your lackies go get them? She's probably going to shit out your next kid while you're gone."

Kisaki rolled his eyes as he looked left then right before crossing the street. "Do you even know how babies are born, Hanma?-- and besides, the last one I sent grabbed the wrong box and she chewed everyone's head off. There's a store just across the street anyways."

Hanma snorted over the phone. "All this shit for someone who--"

He was cut off. "Careful what you say about my wife and the mother of my kids."

He could hear Hanma roll his eyes over the phone. "Yeah. Yeah.. Anywho. Things are going good back here. Your problem hasn't floated to the surface yet. I wouldn't worry though, he's probably fish food by now."

Kisaki entered the small store, only a little old lady in an apron was around, sweeping invisible dirt off the floor. She smiled at him--

"That's unsettling.. But As long as he's dead-- we'll return after the baby is a few weeks old."

He didn't hear Hanma's playful (annoying) goodbye and hung up his phone. His eyes on the bright box of frozen colored ice. This will hopefully last--

The woman rang his purchase up and he fiddled with the new looking cash he had acquired. A little pissed he couldn't use his card but it was all for privacy.

"Moh:vö Sápö."

He looked back at the woman with a puzzled face. He didn't know that phrase of this this new language yet but he guessed by her smile and wave. She was either saying thank you or goodbye?

He nodded and continued on his way home. You were probably trying to get out of bed since he wasn't there to keep you still. Though this place was quiet he got an uneasy feeling down his back. His eyes shifted rapidly around his surroundings. Why was he getting paranoid?-- he was dead.. But could he really trust his men? They called him crazy and obsessed..

No. This was love. None of them have been in love.

His hand itched for his gun as two men stumbled on to the street. They obviously had too much to drink and were thrown out of the nearby bar.

They approach and he reached under his jacket to his back.. Empty. He left his gun and holster at home-- They didn't spare him a glance as they passed by, only drunken laughter coming from the two as they spoke the new language he was just learning.

One man said something about his wife?-- Right, he had you waiting on him and if he kept fucking around your popsicles would be trash by the time he got home.

He finally reached the sidewalk---

The world around him turned dark, he couldn't move his arms and legs no matter how hard he kicked or punched.

"Can I just knock the fucker out Kenny?"

"No. We need him awake." (Low mumble) "Way to keep a low profile dumbass."

In a last attempt to get free Tetta bit at the fabric around his head. Only to bite into what he assumed was a hand.

"Ow! You know what? Go to fucking sleep."

A pain bloomed at the back of his head and he smelled something awful. His vision was still dark and his body still unable to move.

"His heads moving Takemitchy."

.... It couldn't be.. He was dead---

He was right in front of him...

Well. What was left of him.

Takemichi had seen better days. Tetta almost laughed at how he now looked but could he really when he now just realized his entire body was tied to a chair. His feet bound by heavy chains to make sure he couldn't get far if he were able to escape and run.

"Found you."

Only one of Takemichi's eyes were visible, half his body was burned and raw.

He leaned in and Tetta could still smell the gasoline that stook to his skin. "Beat him till his unrecognizable, burn the body, then throw the body in the river.." Takemichi tilted his head. "You probably should have sent Hanma to do the job right-- or manned up and done it yourself."

He felt another body stand beside him. Draken had changed from the teen he was before. He wore his hair down these days and it was no longer blonde. It was a dark brown and his dragon tattoo was now covered. But that didn't mean it still wasn't visible-- he almost had the same tattoo covering up his arm. Only it was now two dragons that were winding together.

Draken bit his lips in concentration as be cut enough rope to loosen one of his arms. His heart picked up and he could feel the sweat building up.

"No.."

Takemichi held up his arm. "Probably should have cut these off too huh."

His hands were broken and purple. Sloppy stitched up gashes that were utterly unnecessary as his hands seemed to already be in early stages of gangrene.

Takemichi gave a pained face as he made his fingers twitch. "They still somewhat work. But it's enough." -- He looked at Mikey who was enjoying a foreign snack. "Hold his arm up."

The threw the treat over his shoulder and happily did as he was told. Kisaki began to thrash and yell. Hoping that someone, anyone would hear him.

"She's mine! I put in the work! I won her over! Mine!"

Draken stuffed something into his mouth.. a wet cloth.. The taste of dirt and God knows what made his tongue curl in.

"She was yours for a while. But you seem to forget Kisaki.. She belongs to me."

Takemichi had long lost the joyful tone in his voice. It weakened the day you left him.. It hid the day your last name became Kisaki. He lost it the day he heard you had Tetta's son growing in your belly.

But he could never let you go. And he didn't.-- He was so close to having you back. He was willing to take you and your son and keep you both as his own. But Kisaki became too aware of his plan and moved you away. He made you abandon your family and your home. He hid you well but not everything he had planned was perfect. One man couldn't be trusted and made it easy for Takemichi to find you, he'd always find you. He'd search the earth and heavens just for you.

Tears rolled down Tetta's face as Takemichi placed his nearly dead hand in his. He screamed words that Takemichi couldn't hear as his heartbeat flooded his ears.

He was going to see you 12 years in the past. And this time.. You were going to be his once again.

This time, you'll stay his.

Forever.
