🌻☀️ MiriJo Exhibition ☀️🌻

On my birthday, June 21st, Horikoshi art exhibition started, and just a few days ago, the illustration of the Big Three as adults was revealed ☀️🐙🌀

I wanted to make my own version with my ship, Mirio Togata "Lemillion" and Majo Togata (Pearce) "Pixie Dust", as adults ☀️🦸‍♂️🧚‍♀️🌻

I'm actually quite happy with the result. This is the third time I've tried to imitate Horikoshi's style, and I loved doing it 🥰💕✨

My idea for this illustration is that it's one of the photographs Deku took of Mirio and Majo 🌻💛🪻💜

As for the text, I used ChatGPT. It's supposedly written by Deku and says something like:

“Mirio-senpai and Maho-san are like the sun and the flower that blooms with its light!

Just looking at them, I feel more energized…

They're a couple that truly complements each other! ☀️🌻”

Sorry if it's badly written, it wasn't my intention 🥺🙏

And yes, they call "Maho" to "Majo" 🧚‍♀️💫🪻

Anyway, I hope you like the result. I really enjoyed practicing this type of coloring, although I still need to learn more 🥰💐💖

As an extra fact that I almost forgot, sometimes both Mirio and Majo forget to put on their wedding rings. In Mirio's case, it's because of his work as a hero, and in Majo's case, it's to avoid problems while taking care of Mitsuo. So, when they go somewhere, they may forget or not put them on in time. However, that doesn't diminish the importance of their relationship. 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏼💕✨

while mirio likes you too, he's still tamaki's best friend first and foremost! he won't just steal the person tamaki likes away from him, so he wants to help his friend get with you!

sure, mirio likes you! a lot, actually! but he's the type to put other people before himself. afterall, if tamaki is happy, then mirio will be happy too, right…?

well, tamaki doesn't like that mirio so easily discards his own feelings for you, in an attempt to help him get with you!

tamaki is pretty insecure, so he believes that you'd be happier with mirio! mirio got everything anyone could want! compared to mirio, tamaki is nothing…

both boys are willing to let their friend have their chance with you, despite their own feelings for you!

for months, they'll both give up so many chances to be with you or confess to you. until eventually, mirio decides that the only way to solve this is for tamaki and mirio to both confess to you at the same time!

maybe then you'll make your choice and choose which one of the boys you want! or maybe, you'll even want both of them…

No, I don't think "Woman wants to be a man" is part of being a trans man, personally, but I do agree that I should, and could, have elaborated more.

What I meant is that as the reveal is dropped, it isn't presented as "Yes this character has actually been a woman all along, and SHE (the woman) was just PRETENDING to be a man (which she isn't (because she's a woman))", which is the common direction for the trans-revealed trope characters to take. Neither was it "Yes, this character whom you've seen as a WOMAN this whole time IS A WOMAN, but SHE (the woman) wants to be a MAN (which she isn't (because she's a woman)), which is WEIRD and STRANGE and FUNNY"

Togata is instead presented as a man, who was always a man, who just happens to be in a female body. THAT, I think, is what being a trans man is.

As a trans man myself, I don't consider myself a woman who wants to be a man. I am a man. A trans man, yes, but a man, nonetheless. I've never before seen a character that captures the actuality of being a trans man as I've experienced it - that is to say, being revealed to be a full fledged man in a woman's body, rather than a full fledged woman who would like to be a man, please.
