18. vistareṇātmano yogaṁ vibhūtiṁ ca janārdana bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛptir hi śṛṇvato nāsti me ’mṛtam

🌷 Translation : O Janārdana, again please describe in detail the mystic power of Your opulences. I am never satiated in hearing about You, for the more I hear the more I want to taste the nectar of Your words.

🌹 Purport : A similar statement was made to Sūta Gosvāmī by the ṛṣis of Naimiṣāraṇya, headed by Śaunaka. That statement is:

vayaṁ tu na vitṛpyāma uttama-śloka-vikrame yac chṛṇvatāṁ rasa-jñānāṁ svādu svādu pade pade

“One can never be satiated even though one continuously hears the transcendental pastimes of Kṛṣṇa, who is glorified by excellent prayers. Those who have entered into a transcendental relationship with Kṛṣṇa relish at every step the descriptions of the pastimes of the Lord.” (Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.1.19) Thus Arjuna is interested in hearing about Kṛṣṇa, and specifically how He remains as the all-pervading Supreme Lord. Now as far as amṛtam, nectar, is concerned, any narration or statement concerning Kṛṣṇa is just like nectar.

And this nectar can be perceived by practical experience. Modern stories, fiction and histories are different from the transcendental pastimes of the Lord in that one will tire of hearing mundane stories but one never tires of hearing about Kṛṣṇa. It is for this reason only that the history of the whole universe is replete with references to the pastimes of the incarnations of Godhead. The Purāṇas are histories of bygone ages that relate the pastimes of the various incarnations of the Lord. In this way the reading matter remains forever fresh, despite repeated readings. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

పిమ్మట అంగన్యాసమంత్రములను నాల్గింటిని చదువుచు కుడినుండి ప్రారంభించి ఎడమవైపువరకు హృదయము, శిరస్సు, శిఖ, రెండు భుజములు స్పృశించి, చెవులు, ముక్కు మొదలగు రంధ్రములు మూసికొని, సంముఖీకరణముద్రతో శివ - విష్ణు - గంగలను స్మరించుచు, నీటిలో మునగవలెను. షడంగన్యాస మంత్రములను ఉచ్చరించుచు (ఓం హృదయాయనమః, శిరసే స్వాహా, శిఖాయై వషట్‌, కవచాయ హుమ్‌, నేత్రత్రయాయ వౌషట్‌, అస్త్రాయ ఫట్‌) నీటిలో నిలచి, రెండు చేతులును కలిపి కుంభముద్రలో స్నానము చేయవలెను. స్నానానంతరము నీటినుండి బైటకు వచ్చి సంహారిణీ ముద్రతో తీర్థమును ఉపసంహరించవలెను.

పిమ్మట యథావిధిగా పరిశుద్ధము, సంహితామంత్రములచే అభిమంత్రితము, నివృత్త్యాదులచే శోధితము అగు భస్మచే స్నానము చేయవలెను. ''ఓం అస్త్రాయ హుం ఫట్‌'' అను మంత్ర ముచ్చరించుచు శిరస్సునుండి పాదములవరకు భస్మముతో మలస్నానము చేసి, పిదప, యధావిధిగ శుద్ధస్నానము చేయవలెను. ఈశాన - తత్పురుష - అఘెర - గుహ్యక (దేదా వామదేవ) సద్యోజాత మంత్రములతో క్రమముగ శిరస్సు, ముఖము, హృదయము, గుహ్యాంగము, శరీరమునందలి ఇతరావయవములు వీటిపై ఉంచవలెను. మూడు సంధ్యలందును, అర్ధరాత్రమునందును, వర్షాకాలమునకు పూర్వము, అనంతరము, నిద్రానంతరము, భోజనానంతరము, జలపానానంతరము. ఇతరమైన ఆవశ్యకకార్యములు చేసిన పిమ్మట నీవు, ఆగ్నేయస్నానము చేయవలెను. స్త్రీని, నపుంసకుని, శూద్రుని పిల్లిని, శవమును. ఎలుకను స్పృశించి నపుడు ఆగ్నేయస్నానము విధింపబడినది,చుళుకము నిండ పవిత్రజలము పోసికొని త్రాగవలెను.

Chapter 72 🌻 Mode of bathing and daily worship (snāna-viśeṣa) - 2🌻

Having the part on the north and reciting the Śiva-mantra the waters of Śiva should be accomplished. The part on the south (sanctified with the aṅga mantra) should be smeared all over the body from head to foot.

11-12. After having recited the four aṅgamantras and covered all the (nine) apertures (in the body) with the recitation of the sammukhīkaraṇa mantra (mantra accomplishing the presence), one should contemplate Lord Śiva or Lord Hari or the Ganges and plunge into the waters. Then the ṣaḍaṅga mantra (mantra for assigning to the limbs of the body) ending with vauṣat [vauṣaṭ?] should be recited and water poured (over the head).

13-15. One should place water in the pitchers in the east (and other directions) in order to prevent any harm during ablution. Having bathed one should apply sweet perfumes such as emblic myrabolans which are (considered as) royal honour. Having bathed and come out, that water should be made to cease to exist with the saṃhāriṇī (mudrā). One should then bathe [i.e., snāna] from head to foot with the ashes duly purified by the saṃhitā (vedic) mantras or concluding rites with (the recitation) of the mantra huṃ phaṭ.

16-17. Having performed the malasnāna, (bathing with mud), the vidhisnāna (bathing with the recitation of mantras), one should besmear the head, face, heart, and the genital organ with the (mantras of gods) Īśa (Īśāna), Tatpuruṣa, Aghora, Guhyaka and Jāta (Sadyojāta) in the three twilights, night, and. before and after the commencement of rainy season.

18-19. If a person happens to touch a woman, an eunuch, a man of lower caste, a cat, hare or mouse just after getting up from sleep, or eaten food or drunk water one should do the āgneyaka bathing, standing up with uplifted arms, the face having turned towards the east, being cleansed by the shower of sun’s rays.

🌻 11. What is the Condition of the Educated Man of the World Today? 🌻

It is emphatically said that knowledge is power. It is also held that knowledge is virtue. And Indian metaphysics, in its last reaches, proclaims that knowledge is bliss. Now, does education mean acquisition of knowledge? Any sensible person would not deny that it is so. And what is the condition of the educated man of the world today? Has he power? Is he virtuous? Is he blissful? We would, on an enquiry, discover that our men of knowledge are not really men of power.

They need not necessarily be virtuous persons, too. And bliss, of course, is far from their reach. If education is the process of the acquisition of knowledge, that is, if education is the same as knowledge, and if knowledge is defined in the above-mentioned manner, how is it that there is a gulf between education and its expected fruits? We find that the men of power are either the political leaders or the possessors of enormous wealth. On a scrutiny it would be found that it is not true.

నువ్వు మొదటి దానితో విజయం పొందితే రెండో దానిలోనూ పొందుతావు. అప్పుడు రెండో నిశ్శబ్దాన్ని అందుకుంటావు. అప్పుడు ఈ రెండు అందుకున్నపుడు పరిశీలకుడు కూడా అదృశ్యం కావడం చూస్తావు. కారణం అక్కడ పరిశీలించడానికేమీ లేదు. తెలుసు కోడానికి ఏమీ లేదు. తెలుసుకునే వాడు అదృశ్యమయ్యాడు. అది అంతిమ నిశ్శబ్దం. దాన్నే బుద్ధుడు 'నిర్వాణ'మన్నాడు.

सुख एवं समृद्धि के लिए

बच्‍चों को बुरी नजर से बचाने के लिए उनकी आंखों में काजल लगाने की जगह आपको हाथों की हथेली, पैर के तलवों, कान के पीछे और माथे पर काजल से एक बिंदी लगा देनी चाहिए। यह सेहत के लिहाज से भी सुरक्षित है और बच्‍चे को नजरदोष से बचाने के लिए भी यह उपाय बहुत ही कारगर है।

शनि दोष दूर करने का उपाय

यदि आपकी कुंडली में शनि दोष है या आप पर शनि की महादशा चल रही है तो आपको शनिवार के दिन शीशे के सामने खड़े होकर 9 बार अपने सिर के ऊपर से सीधे और उल्‍टे क्रम में काजल को घुमा कर किसी ऐसे स्‍थान पर गाड़ देना चाहिए जहां आप वापस दोबारा कभी भी न जाएं।

इसके अलावा यदि आपके विवाह में विलंब हो रहा है तो आप शनि देव के मंदिर में सुरमा अर्पित करें। ऐसा करने से विवाह में आ रही बाधा दूर हो जाएगी।

राहु को शांत करने का उपाय

राहु ग्रह को शांत करने के लिए आप अधिक से अधिक काले काजल या सुरमा का दान करें। बेहतर होगा कि आप घर पर ही पहले सुरमा बनाएं और फिर उसका दान करें। यह उपाय उन जातकों के लिए बहुत ही अच्‍छा रहेगा जिनकी नौकरी पर खतरा मंडरा रहा है।

मंगल दोष दूर करने का उपाय

अगर कुंडली में मंगल ग्रह कमजोर है या फिर मंगल दोष है तो आपको काले की जगह सफेद सुरमा आंखों में लगाना चाहिए।
