More and more I’m enjoying depicting Timur abusing that Warlock Float and I’m not sorry. Solid ground does not suit him.

Gave myself a night off from all my usual routines, responsibilities, and goals to just sit and doodle, and this is what happened. Despite everything, joy remains.

Fell down a wikipedia hole briefly last night and...

ended up reading about the historical figure of Timur (the namesake for the Iron Lord) and this came up:

It is alleged that Timur's tomb was inscribed with the words, "When I rise from the dead, the world shall tremble". It is also said that when Gerasimov exhumed the body, an additional inscription inside the casket was found, which read, "Whomsoever [sic] opens my tomb shall unleash an invader more terrible than I."

And wow, knowing about Iron Lord Timur and his obsession with SIVA which led to it being released, and him being, y'know a Guardian literally rised from the dead...

Islamic Architecture in Uzbekistan

Guri Amir Mausoleum, Samarkand

Built in the early 15th century, the Guri Amir Mausoleum is the burial place of Timur or Tamerlane who was the last Central Asian leader to achieve great military successes. He is commemorated for his conquests from India and Russia to the Mediterranean Sea.

why does Timur care to know about Clovis?

Timur was super obsessed about Clovis, Exos and old Golden Age technology, including SIVA from the moment he learned about it. Timur was also the one who met Felwinter first and prompted him to join the Iron Lords. He also learned about SIVA from Felwinter, naturally. Felwinter also expanded his obsession with Braytech and all things Warmind. The two often explored together, mostly looking for old Golden Age facilities. This is also from Colovance (mentioned here) who was Timur's student, thinking that Timur has gone completely mad with this obsession.
