You know what I think is an underrated horror aspect of the mk11 time travel plot is that if you kill the past version of a character, their future version crumbles away, but yet it doesn’t seem to affect their memories of the character, yea it’s a fixed point in time since shit doesn’t make sense rn but just the idea

Like what if Kuai Liang’s younger version if he had was killed one way or another? He has plenty of enemy’s by then that would want to kill him off. What if his past version dies and his future version turns to dust and all that happened in his life just… is gone, the memories of it? Ceased to exist even? Hanzo crying not knowing who or what he forgot but he knows he lost another part of himself

WHY WOULD YOU PUT THIS THOUGHT IN MY HEAD

I'd like to think that if that happened, somehow Hanzo manages to cling to some memories, like they're not there fully, but he dreams about Kuai Liang in very vague ways

He knows that he lost someone

Knows that he wants them back

And since they all remember the timequake, he figures someone could have died and he forgot somehow (Hanzo would probably assume that he got a head injury and has amnesia)

So he goes looking for ways to get those memories back, ways to fix this

I'd also want Kuai Liang to come back from the dead at some point, and Hanzo finds him comatose and starts trying to heal him, knowing on some level that this is what he's missing, even if he's not consciously aware of that
