The film has caught attention due to the coming together of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for the first time, mass appeal, grandeur and stylized action scenes, as visible in the teaser and BTS video released by the makers. And now, Bollywood Hungama has learned that besides Akshay and Tiger, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will also bring two prominent production houses for the first time.

A trade source told Bollywood Hungama, “Yash Raj Films (YRF) is all set to distribute Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in overseas markets. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment and is the first time that they have joined hands with YRF for distribution. They are happy to have Aditya Chopra’s reputed banner on board to release their film in foreign lands and they are confident that they’ll get the best of screens.”

He will wrap up the premiere episode of his reality show on Oct 1, then, begin the final 10-day shoot of his action thriller. After five months of self-isolation at his Panvel farmhouse due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Salman Khan returned to Mumbai on August 11 to shoot for the promotional campaign for the upcoming season of his reality show, Bigg Boss. Ever since, he’s been staying in the ground floor apartment of his Bandra residence with father Salim Khan and family on the first floor. Mirror has now learnt that the actor will shoot the opening episode of Bigg Boss 14 on October 1 at Film City. The following day, he will resume filming his action-thriller, Radhe. Bigg Boss is set to go on air from Sunday, October 4. Usually, the premiere episode is shot a day in advance so that the identity of the contestants can be kept under wraps. However, these are unprecedented times and hence they will be shooting three days in advance,” revealed a source, adding that this time there will be no live audience. “Salman has allotted the entire day for the shoot and prep has begun.” Immediately after that, the actor moves to his next home production in which he plays the titular character of India’s most wanted bhai. “It’s a short schedule of 10-12 days at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. The shoot also includes a song featuring Salman and his leading lady, Disha Patani. The antagonist, Randeep Hooda along with Jackie Shroff, who has a strong supporting role, will also be a part of this schedule.” Salman is in constant touch over video calls with his director, Prabhudheva, who is currently in his hometown with his family. They are working on the dates of his return as he will have to go under home quarantine once he reaches Mumbai. “There may be a delay of a day or two, depending on the exact date of Prabhu’s arrival, but the studio has been blocked and set construction will begin in the next few days,” informs the source.

The film, which was to be an Eid 2020 release, is now looking at the Christmas or Republic Day weekend, depending on several factors, including the re-opening of cinema halls. From February 2021, Salman has committed dates to the third installment of the Tiger franchise, to be directed by Maneesh Sharma, with Katrina Kaif opposite him. “Tiger is a big scale action-packed film which will be shot in several countries. It is expected to kick off in February next year and go on till September,” the source shared. The actor also has two films with Sajid Nadiadwala in his kitty— Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Kick 2—which are expected to start late next year.
