editing original post here because i forgot a very important year (2011). edits in bold:
ok i think i have a better sense of the timeline now based on info i've gathered across various interviews
2007: Qian is (probably) around 13-14 when he "adopts" Yuan, who should be the same age as Lili (7). i don't think Yuan's age is ever clear since he didn't have any identification until the mob boss got him one
2011: episode 1, Qian is 17-18, we see adult Qian and little Yuan together in the hospital. this is when Qian gets that scar on his eyebrow (bandage on eyebrow). Yuan is nabbed later this year by mob boss sidekick Ah Hu (Tiger). the year Qian gets punctured lung while fighting to get out of the mob
2/9/2013: episode 1, Qian is around 19-20, Yuan and Lili are 13, based on their lunar new year convo where we find out people at Qian's age are already in second year of college and Yuan and Lili were in the same class until Yuan skipped straight to high school. Lili's actress plays through ages 13 through 23 and this is the first year we see her (edit: i'm assuming Lili just turned 13 maybe in January and Yuan turned 13 a month before)
mid-2016: Qian graduates college in 3 years
12/21/2017: Yuan turns 18
so i'm guessing episode 5 is happening sometime in 2018, before Taiwan legalized same sex marriage in 2019
eh this is what i have so far, not entirely sure how much time i need to bake in for mandatory military service
#unknown the series#關於未知的我們#i think the details planted in 2011 will be important later#can't believe i skipped that year#this one rambles

Cookie Transformation Duration: 8 -> 12 seconds

DEF Bonus: 230.98% -> 251.2%
Charmed Effect: Damage 298.7% -> 429.5%, added a debuff that inflicts -20% DEF on affected targets for 8 seconds (the DEF debuff is active at all levels and stays at that length and effectiveness regardless of Kumiho’s level)
Frost Queen is now notably resistant to being interrupted in her ability description.
In addition to new decorations and house designs for the holidays, the maximum level of the “Ominous Cake Tower” was increased to level 50.
There is also another story that you can view with Cocoa Cookie’s night out to see Mint Choco Cookie’s concert. Complete the tasks below to advance to the next stage and view the associated story’s episode. Complete all 6 stages to earn 3,000 Crystals. This event will expire on January 12th with the next update.
One last detail: on the mornings of December 24th and 25th, check your Kingdom mailbox for two holiday gifts of 500 Frost Crystals. A free and festive way to attempt ten more pulls in the Frost Crystal gacha. This is Pomegranate Jam Cookie, signing off.

As there seems to be some puzzle place-related questions on here... I might as well ask one... Now that KCET is a PBS member station again and the lancits are still in business... What do you think a revival of the puzzle place would be like? what would the characters be like? and what issues would they tackle?
Oh, golly gee! All of these wonderful Puzzle Place anonymouses-- I’m not going to make a whole separate post for whoever sent the “thank you for uploading”, but I’m SO grateful people care about the show!
I had NO clue that The Puzzle Place’s copyright owners had come back from the dead! I think that The Puzzle Place never shied away from any important issues for children, and a revival certainly wouldn’t, either! In the same way that Sesame Street (and its foreign adaptations) have tackled things in recent years like autism with Julia, homelessness with Lily, drug addiction with Karli, I’m sure The Puzzle Place would do the very same thing. I mean, gosh, in the last generation of PBS, Postcards from Buster had an episode where they visited a family with two moms, and in recent years, Mr. Ratburn just got married to his partner, for Pete’s sake!
An issue I think would be interesting to cover tastefully is domestic abuse. I can’t think of any really good examples of a show educating children on how to cope with that kind of abuse, or how to get out of such a situation. I also think the atmosphere is right for children to be taught, in simple terms, how to deal with friends of different religions. I think the show already was doing an awful lot to help foster an understanding & love for our varying beliefs. (Skye, for example, sings this amazing song called Sacred Ways in the Finders Keepers episode.) I think to outrightly say that everyone believes different things, and that’s okay would be an important message.
Bully for Jody already covered a lot of stuff about real-life bullying very well, but I do think that a cyberbullying episode would be brilliant. No one’s made a good piece on the subject thus far, I think. They could even do some rad stuff with Weebus, if they took on that subject-- show physically the kind of emotional damage that cyberbullying can do on a person through Weebus getting broken by these messages.
The question “what would the characters be like” is an interesting one. I personally would hate if the characters changed... I’m already of the opinion that the third season redesigns of the characters, while serviceable, aren’t anywhere near as good to perform with as the original puppets! For an example of some really excellent puppet designs from a revival, I’d definitely turn to The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Complete perfection there-- I’m picky as all get-out, and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about that revival. Anyway, every season on Sesame Street, things change, and they’re catered to the needs of the children of that generation. These are needs that I’m probably not fully aware of, given I’m not a child psychologist. I assume a revival would do an awful lot of study, as they should, on what’s needed to make the biggest positive difference in the lives of the next generation of children.
... I will make one caveat: As positive an experience as I’m certain Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood has been for children who watch it, I don’t consider it to be a good substitute for Mr. Rogers from an artistic standpoint. Whatever someone were to do to Puzzle Place, just... ... try to be sensitive to not only those baseline educational needs (which should be easy enough to fill)-- but on the need to make something real special. I believe very strongly that having the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life through art is a really sacred one, and we shouldn’t aim to simply make bargain-bin stuff that teaches “good values” and leaves you empty in your soul, you know? We should aim to make art-- beautifully simple-- something that goes straight to the heart and stays there, waiting to be shared with another little human being who’s new to the world. Things that tell stories that are complicated emotionally, but simple enough that anyone can understand it. Someone who I really look up to in the current state of children’s entertainment is Mo Willems, for example.
... Yeah, uh, actually, get Mo Willems on PBS, pronto! That’s my final thought.
EDIT: I was just given a response from this anonymous, which I’d like to share, but don’t have anything to add to (since as I mentioned in my answer, I didn’t want the personalities & design of the Puzzle Place characters to change, hahaha): “Following Up your reply to my “Puzzle place Revival” question... I could see it also tackling problems found in Teenage years (i.e. depression, anxiety, peer pressure), to appeal and relate to a wide audience of children, and also, what do you think each of the puzzle place characters would physically look and be like in this hypothetical revival?”

watching ork’s stuff from days and i have a lot of thoughts but like- y’all... i just want to get to the 2018 stuff so i can start giffing and making resources and edits and stuff but also i wish she was 18 in the halloween 2017 episodes bc her costume is so cute i love tiger claire... and lily would absolutely wear something like that. (i also wish she was 18 for this whole 2017 stuff in general ngl bc they’ve done a LOT of plot that i personally feel like is weird to do with a seventeen year old actress and a 24 year old actor together)

CS Storybook: Faith, Trust, & Pixie Dust
Story by @lifeincolorblog with a fantastic edit by @jell-obeans
Episode 6x17 Awake
After Emma aids Hook and Tiger Lily in fighting the Lost Boys, a divergent Captain Swan adventure ensues. Rating: T
“Lost Boys,” Captain Hook couldn’t help utter those words as he sighed in defeat. He supposed it was an appropriate way to go. Captain Hook done in by the Lost Boys of Neverland. It was practically poetic.
“For your crimes against Pan, the Lost Boys sentence you to death.” He rolled his eyes, maybe poetic wasn’t exactly the right word. After all, it was the Crocodile who killed Pan, not him. He thought about mentioning this fact, but Tiger Lily caught his eye.
“Sorry, Captain,” she said sympathetically as she struggled against the two Lost Boys restraining her.
“Don’t be. All that matters is that Emma got the wand.” It was true, that was all that mattered to him now. Just as he knew she received the pages to defeat Hades, he knew that his shadow had gotten the wand to…“Emma?!”
“Killian!” Emma shouted back.
It had all happened fast and frantically. A door appeared out of thin air. A flash of light distracted the Lost Boys. Emma came running out of the portal.
“Run! Now!” Hook directed Tiger Lily. The fairy/warrior escaped her captors. Emma battled her way to Killian. Killian broke free from the amateurish knots. The next thing he knew, Emma had grabbed his hand and they tumbled through the portal.
Emma’s head hit the dirt with a thud and Hook landed on top of her. “You okay?” Emma asked from beneath him. He winced, but instead of answering he put his arm around her back rolling her over on top of him. When he looked up at her, her smile was as bright as the sun. She laughed and then teased, “What happened to ‘enjoying activities with a woman on her back’, hmm?”
Hook smirked, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “Emma…I’m…”
She knew where this was going. The guilt perpetually etched in his features gave him away. “Save it.” She sat up on his lap, took in their surroundings, and then, frowned.
Noticing her sudden change in demeanor, he, too, turned his head to look around. “Neverland,” he spit the word like a curse. “More like ‘Never-escape’. Where exactly was that blasted magic door supposed to take us?”

Episode Thoughts
(I try..key word: try, not to get too mean-spirited in these things. So I may have held my tongue on a few points. Nonetheless, if you feel these comments deserve an ‘anti’ tag, please let me know.)
- We now join Lord of The Flies: Neverland Edition already in progress.
- Hook regrets not switching out his regular hook with the grappling plug-in one he got last Christmas.
- Okay, so far this season Hook has offered rum to children and a pregnant woman.
- We apparently interrupted Emma while she was in her Wednesday Addams cosplay.
- Charming, the last time you and Snow charged ahead on a idea without thinking it over was how you ended up with half a heart in the first place.
- Everyone get their first season wigs back on!
- Retcon time!
- Grumpy had a job?
- The biggest surprise so far is them actually giving Belle 10 seconds of screen time.
- How in the hell? Rumple, put the Club on your dagger or something!
- ‘Time of the Dark Curse’, that or present day Rumple magically grew his hair back...oh, why couldn’t it be the latter??
- I miss Rumple’s cane almost as much as his floof.
- Pre-Emma Rumple was limited with his insults. Hence him reusing the Dr Hooper joke.
- (Pixie’s the name of my youngest kitty cat, so I’m a little delighted everytime her name gets mentioned in this episode)
- Tiger Lily was a fairy?? That or they couldn’t get Tinker Bell to come back for enough episodes to play whatever plot role Tiger is gonna have.
- I can only assume that Mary Margaret keep scissors in her pocket at all times to trim her hair on a daily basis.
- Oh, no, they killed Pumbaa!
- Don’t suppose we want to give a flower to Rumple so he could find his child....?
- I kinda prefer Shadow-Hook to the real deal..
- Hey, come back!
- Did I hear that right? “It’s my fault you didn’t tell me!” Or words to that effect? I’m....You know what? It’s not my ship. Not my problem. Let’s move on.
- The characters from the earlier seasons who can no longer get screen time, gathering around for for their last moment to shine.
- Regina recaps the latest retcon to get them all up to speed.
- Shockingly, Hook is the first one who wants to drink something.
- I’m not even sure how this is suppose to work..? Guess I should have been paying attention rather than writing sarcastic comments, but hey, it gets me through the show.
- Don’t suppose this could have worked back when Rumple needed to wake Belle up from her sleeping curse....?
- Oops, everyone’s dead.
- Rats...I mean, oh, they’re not.
- Huh, guess they cut Moe French’s scene. Must run in the family.

This Strange World
My first ever Newtina fic with some Jakweenie family interspersed! It’s probably one of my longest pieces, too, so enjoy. I also may be convinced to write follow-ups to this ;)
Newt and Tina Scamander had the ideal marriage to a stranger’s eye. They were both young, healthy, and shared the kind of love that some could only dream of. He was a famous author, she a high ranking Auror. They weren’t rich but they had enough. A nice apartment in London, space for their relatives to visit and for their weird and wonderful host of beasts.
“Look at my sister, living the high life in the Old Smoke with her handsome husband.” Queenie would often say to her friends.
But, as the years rolled on, it became apparent they were missing a piece.
A family of their own.
Tina had known going into her marriage that she and Newt would probably never have children. Before she’d even laid eyes on her future husband, her mother had always said that Tina was the career-girl and Queenie the home-bird.
Newt hadn’t expected to ever marry in the first place.
And, even if they’d wanted to, Grindelwald was still out there.
The idea that he could one day come back for Newt petrified her. Newt was strong, stronger than the average wizard, but even he stood little chance against the Elder Wand. Tina had seen enough post-mortem reports on his victims to know Grindelwald wouldn’t hesitate to murder the magizoologist that put him in the custody of MACUSA. A quick death would be a stroke of luck, not a given. Newt, as per usual, was more concerned about what the wizard would do to Tina rather than himself. Tina couldn’t expect any mercy, and neither would any children, were they in the line of fire.
That promise alone was enough to keep Newt and Tina’s resolve but they had their moments. Episodes where they wavered and wished for something more. As the months turned into years, they became a more frequent occurrence for them both. They were the one thing they didn’t share with each other.
Tina got them when she saw Newt fawning over his beasts. His gentle hands and kind eyes. That natural paternal instinct that he tried so hard to suppress when he wasn’t with his creatures to save himself the heartache.
It was easier for Tina in some ways. She had work to throw herself into when the going got tough.
Newt did, too, but he was stuck in the house.
He pretended not to, but Newt noticed things. The quiet in the rooms that never seemed to go away completely. The empty spaces and the almost sterile cleanliness of their furniture. Tina’s odd longing gazes. The sad expression that his own mother wore whenever he saw her.
It was hard, but they managed. They had each other and that could, and would, be enough for them.
That was until Jacob and Queenie’s baby arrived.
Newt had been sitting at their kitchen table, perfecting the outlines on a sketch for the new edition of his book, when Tina had burst in through the front door, waving a letter in her hands. Newt had jumped a mile.
“It’s a boy! Queenie had a boy,” Tina had said breathlessly.
Newt swallowed the lump in his throat and quirked his lips. “That’s wonderful news, dear. Are they okay?”
“They’re all great,” She pushed a photo towards Newt. “His name is Ralph.”
His eyes turned to the moving picture of what would be his nephew under his fingers. A tiny baby, lying on his back in a Moses basket, clutching onto Queenie’s outstretched fingers. Ralph Kowalski certainly had plenty of his mother in him, that was for sure. Lush golden curls and cream skin, with a sharp chin. It was Jacob’s dark irises that stared back at Newt, though.
Newt struggled for something appeasing to say. “He looks just like your sister.”
The state that Tina was in, in that moment, reminded Newt of when she’d walked down the aisle close to three years ago with Queenie on her arm. Her smile made of blinding light, happy tears threatening to spill over.
They left for New York the next morning.
For Tina, the trip seemed to last an eternity. She stood out on the deck of the steamer, leaning over the rails and scanning the horizon for sight of her homeland impatiently. She seemed to almost vibrate with anticipated excitement.
For Newt, the journey went all too fast. With each mile they sailed away from England, a sickening sense of dread deepened in his stomach. He knew he was doing far too much inward-looking. This was about Queenie and Jacob, his family, not his own warped grieving for something he couldn’t have.
But Newt knew even then; this wasn’t going to do his marriage any good.
They stayed in New York for nearly three weeks. Newt had never seen Tina so happy. Queenie looked none the worse for wear after having a child. She’d bounced back into her lithe frame as easily as putting on an old coat. The same couldn’t be said for Jacob, who maintained a constant look of having run ten laps around Central Park.
Tina fell in love with Ralph as quickly as a click of the fingers. He seemed to like her, too, as much as a newborn could show. He was quiet with her, sat on her lap and played with her necklace and her rings.
It was too much for Newt to bear at times.
“Hey, man. You good?” Jacob asked him one night as he climbed up the escape.
They’d been sat on the fire exit together, side by side. The sky was turning orange like a tiger lily, flecked with white as the stars began to appear. A cool breeze drifted along, ruffling Newt’s hair gently.
“I just-” Newt hesitated, looking out over the city skyline. “I needed some air.”
“I get it. It’s pretty stuffy in there, right?” Jacob chuckled, shrugging his work jacket off. “We need to get a bigger place.”
Newt wasn’t sure if Jacob was mocking him or just hadn’t sensed anything wrong.
Jacob took a deep breath in. “Look, Newt. Queenie asked me to talk to you.”
“You needn’t bother yourself, Jacob, I’m fine.”
“It doesn’t take magic to know that something between you and Tina has been off lately. Hell, I’ll bother myself as much as I want, you’re my wife’s brother-in-law so you’re basically my brother-in-law, too.”
“Tina wants a child of her own.” Newt answered after a moment, staring at the traffic bustling about on the ground below.
“And you …” Jacob trailed off, trying to decide on the most tactful way to put it. “Can’t give her one?”
Newt flushed at the implication. “No- no, I can. As far as I’m aware, atleast.”
“Then what’s holding you back? I know things are looking a bit shaky over with the Jerrys- ”
“It’s Grindelwald.”
“You’re afraid he’s going to come after you? Newt, it’s been like half a decade.” Jacob said in disbelief. “He hasn’t even been in Britain. Queenie says he’s frightened of some guy called Dumbledore.”
“He is, but how long will that hold? I can’t place the life of a child, my child, on the hope that Grindelwald has forgotten about me.”
The other man was silent for a minute. “Nothing I say is going to change your mind, is it?”
Despite himself, Newt smiled a little. “No, but you’re an honourable man for trying.”
Jacob grinned back at him. “Thanks, Newt.”
There were few circumstances under which Newt would ever consider moving to America, he loved Britain too much, but being out there with Jacob and Queenie, and now Ralph, made him waver. He liked this, this close-knit family that they’d built together, although there were many thousands of miles between them normally.
“Right,” Newt started, beginning to push himself up onto his feet. “I’m going to go and see Tina.”
“Let’s give the ladies some space to talk, too, shall we?” Jacob put his hand on Newt’s shoulder firmly. “We’ll go somewhere and leave them be for a while.”
The magizoologist hesitated, before resigning himself to an excursion with Jacob. Tina saw her sister precious little. Perhaps some time alone with Queenie would do her good.
“Alright,” Newt sighed. “Where do you want to go?”
“Uh, surprise me, Mr Scamander.”
And with that, Newt apparated off of the fire exit with Jacob in tow, to wherever his mind took him.
A floor below, Tina jumped at the sound, as did Ralph. It was only Queenie that didn’t seem surprised as she stood at the kitchen counter, stirring a hot drink for her and her sister.
“Tina, are you and Newt getting on okay?”
Tina looked up from her book. A bolt of anger shot through her quickly, there and gone before she’d had time to comprehend.
“You’re the Legilimens, you tell me.” she replied sharply, going back to her page to avoid her sister’s eyes.
“I don’t want to read your mind. I want you to be honest with me.” Queenie retorted stubbornly, straightening up as she perched on the armchair.
“What’s there to say? That Newt and I aren’t 100% happy that we can’t have children?”
“Because of Grindelwald?”
“Germany, too.” Tina muttered.
The ushering in of extremist politics in Germany made her feel uneasy. Who knows what the rest of 1931 was going to hold. Men like Hitler getting to power often ended in war and Britain wasn’t ready for that. The Depression was hitting hard. The Muggle army was down on their numbers, as was the country’s productivity. The Ministry wasn’t in much better shape. They were already at war with Gellert Grindelwald. People were going missing, turning up dead later on. The Auror Department was shrinking by the day. The last thing they needed was hot war with Germany.
“The thing is with war,” Queenie said gently, setting a cup of coffee in front of her sister. “Is that it can go on for a real long time. You and Newt might be too old to have babies by the time the world quietens down. That’s if it ever does.”
“You know, Teen, life doesn’t just stop in the bad times. Things go on.”
Tina watched her nephew play on the rug, completely untroubled by the environment he’d been born into. Little Ralph Kowalski. His parents weren’t that different from him in that sense. Jacob and Queenie knew the world and all her dangers full well, but it just didn’t seem to trouble them. Tina was glad for them, that they could be that way. She envied it, even, but it infuriated her, too.
Queenie knew that.
“Maybe Newt will change his mind one day.” Queenie said carefully.
“Everyone has a selfish streak. It’s bigger in some, smaller in others, but we all have it. The need to content ourselves, even if the cost is irrational,” Tina leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. “Except Newt. Newt doesn’t have it.”
“He’s still human.” Her sister responded quietly, taking a delicate sip from her cup.
When they finally left New York a few days later, Tina was devastated.
Their house seemed quiet as a graveyard compared to the Kowalski residence. There was none of Queenie’s humming as she cooked or Ralph’s excited squealing, no fire crackling in the hearth, no radio playing in the background. The hollowness was suffocating.
The silence made Newt want to scream.
Tina ran her hand over the flawless marble worktop, cool against her fingers, as Newt set down the last of their baggage.
“Newt.” His name came out of her mouth like a plea. Tina always thought she was coping until she wasn’t. Her sadness seemed to hit like a tsunami, filling her lungs and drowning her.
“I’m going to the Amazon.”
Tina took a sharp breath in, tears beginning to well up. “What?”
“I’ve finished every profile for the new edition of the book, except for the creatures that are native to the Amazon,” Newt refused to meet her sad, brown eyes. She’d open him up in a second if he did.
One blink and the tears started to fall. “Please, don’t.”
It took Newt a moment to summon the courage to answer, to be as cold as his need for isolation required him to be. “I’m leaving the day after tomorrow.”
Tina knew well enough that Newt’s overseas work trips lasted indefinitely. Sometimes he’d be gone a week, sometimes months on end. It was for that reason that, when Newt had booked his passage to Brazil, he’d left himself a day to spend with Tina. In retrospect, that hadn’t been such a great idea. They didn’t speak to each other. She slept firmly on her side of the bed.
Tina didn’t linger. She wasn’t there when he opened his eyes on the morning of his departure. She wasn’t there waving from the docks when his ship pulled away. That truly broke his heart. She’d done that for him since ‘26.
The defining factor of Newt and Tina’s partnership was that they were always there for each other, no matter the circumstance. To have that severed felt to Newt like his marriage had never even existed.
He felt it when he penned letters to Tina from the Amazon, sometimes two or three times a day, and got nothing in return. Newt had gone on this trip to escape the silence, but he’d only created another sort from someone who did exist. Someone who was definitely the love of Newt’s life.
That still did not make him brave enough to go home.
Newt wasted weeks looking at beasts he’d studied a million times before. That normally never deterred him, but everything he seemed to do was hollow right about then. He observed, wrote, sketched, cataloged some of the world’s most incredible creatures without enjoying a thing. Not even his expulsion from Hogwarts, what Leta had done to him, all those years ago had made him feel this way.
It was only on his seventh week out in the Amazon did he experience something real, and it wasn’t pleasant.
It had been a normal day. He’d rolled out of his hammock at 5:30am, ate a lukewarm bowl of porridge at the rickety table in his tent while he flipped through some sketches from yesterday. An owl, a Eurasian eagle on that day, dropped the latest issue of the Daily Prophet in front of him. He took a passing glance at it. The headline read:
Eleven Ministry Aurors killed in Grindelwald Attack.
Newt had scrambled to open the paper, eyes tearing frantically through the report. It was headline news, but not much detail, as it was with most events that involved the Ministry. All that was certain was that a mission to apprehend Gellert Grindelwald had gone drastically wrong. Eleven out of the team of fifteen were dead. Condition of the survivors were unknown, as were names.
Newt had never struck a camp so fast in all his life.
He didn’t bother with a boat. It would take him too long. He did the reckless thing and apparated country to country. Brazil to Senegal to Spain to Calais and then right into his empty living room.
It was exactly as he’d left it nearly two months ago. The grandfather clock was still ticking. Tina’s coat was still draped on the armchair, a cold cup of coffee on the table. Nothing out of the ordinary, except for a glittering on the mantelpiece that caught Newt’s eye.
Tina’s rings, on closer inspection. Her engagement and wedding bands piled neatly on top of one another.
Tina never took those rings off.
The air was stolen from Newt’s lungs as he stared at his wife’s abandoned rings. His chest felt as those it were imploding, overcome by a crushing pain in his heart that made him seize. So this was grief. Full of unbearable hurt, inexplicable anger and far too much regret.
Newt had always known that Tina had the power to kill him. Such was the consequence of true love. That was when Newt started to cry, for the first time in years. All his pent up emotions expressed in guttural sobs that tore from his body. Newt truly felt that he was dying in that moment and he would have gone with Death gladly over the pain, over living a long life without Tina.
He barely heard her voice over his own racket.
“Newt?”
There she was, in the kitchen doorway. His Tina, dropping a bucket to the floor when he turned to face her.
Newt’s breath was heavy, tears still streaming down his face. His nails dug deep crescents into his palms. “Why aren’t you wearing your rings?” His voice was so high pitched, he was virtually screaming at her.
Tina flinched back at the sound. “I- I was taking water to the Niffler. I didn’t want him to steal them.” she stammered.
And then, as if he’d been injected with a sedative, Newt’s rage was washed away. It left him with relief, that Tina was okay, that he was here with her. He saw her. Tina had never been so beautiful, dressed in her navy waistcoat with its silver chain and a white shirt underneath. Dark brown hair straightened, tucked behind her ear.
Nothing else needed to be said. He found Tina in his arms, where she belonged. Her head buried into his shoulder, hands clutching the fabric of his coat tightly. Newt murmured a series of sentences into her hair over and over again.
“I’m so sorry.”
“I thought you were dead.”
“I love you.”
Tina didn’t need to hear them right now. She had wondered if Newt would ever come home. To have him here with her was the only comfort she needed.
It was for that reason that it took her a few moments to notice the blood.
Newt had blood dripping from several areas of his body. He had apparated between continents without stopping, she realised. Newt had been splinched. A few times, actually. On his shoulder, his right forearm, lower left leg.
“Newt, what have you done?” Tina whispered, staring at the crimson stain growing on his shoulder as she pulled away slowly.
He shook his head as if to say it didn’t matter.
If Tina could have had her way, she would have dragged her husband to St. Mungo’s to be treated immediately, but it was out of the question. This many splinch wounds, that deep, on an experienced apparater like Newt would raise unwanted questions. She couldn’t use her wand either. Her job in the Ministry meant that her spell casting was checked at the beginning and end of the day. The strong, complex healing Newt needed would trigger alarm bells. Tina had to stitch and bandage him up herself. He didn’t make a sound of complaint but the scars left behind would be awful. Tina fought the desire to burst into tears every minute of the whole horrible affair.
Newt was battered, sore and as emotionally worn-out as he’d ever been. That didn’t stop him making love to Tina that night. He needed to feel her familiar form beneath him, her warm breath on his neck, her hands running up and down the bare skin of his back.
He was a little less careful with her than usual.
It took Tina a while to register that something was off. Having Newt back distracted her. It was as it had been in the early days of their marriage. Happiness on the border of delirium. Her job at the Auror Office was going well, they were closing in on Grindelwald more each day and she had her husband at home waiting for her.
It was only when she entered the second week of vomiting up her breakfast that she had the thought.
It was another week before Tina pushed a positive potion towards Newt. It wasn’t a surprise to him. He’d had his suspicions before it had even dawned on Tina.
“What now?”
Tina was at war with herself. The moral part of herself was disgusted that she could be so foolish as to get pregnant in such troubling times. The other part, the more selfish part, was thrilled at the news that she was finally carrying her and Newt’s child. But the viability of this would depend on Newt.
Newt was hard to read. His head was down as he stared at the iris purple liquid blankly, swirling it around in the bottle. “We get out of London. Go somewhere safer.” he said finally.
“We’re doing this?” Tina asked tentatively.
Newt set the potion back down on the table and lifted his head, eyes meeting hers directly. “We’re doing this.” he murmured back.
“What are you thinking?”
“Life has to go on. This wasn’t preferable but it’s happened,” Newt exhaled, putting his hand on top of Tina’s. “I refuse to take it as anything less than good news.”
“You’re going to be a father, Newt.”
A small, shaky smile appeared on Newt’s face.
Their move out of London was remarkably quick. It was easiest for Newt. He had his livelihood already packed. Literally. Tina had more to go through. At the announcement of her pregnancy, she’d been put on consultancy and paperwork only. Her boss was less than thrilled at losing one of his senior Aurors during such trying times but there wasn’t much to be done about it.
Tina found them their new home. A large farmhouse in the Dorset countryside. It was out of the way but had Floo network connections so Tina could use it when she went back into active duty. There was plenty of land for Newt’s creatures if he ever wanted to dispense of the case. There was a beautiful master bedroom for them, a nursery for the baby and a few guest rooms for Jacob and Queenie to take up if they ever visited.
Those rooms came into use far sooner than Newt and Tina had expected.
Tina received her weekly letter from her sister, announcing that Ralph was going to get a little sibling in the late spring. The next time Tina heard from her sister was when she was standing on her doorstep in the rain, with her family and a few of their possessions.
The MACUSA had caught up with them.
“We’ll be out of your hair as soon as we can find our own place.” Queenie said over breakfast one morning.
“I said don’t worry about it, Queenie. We’ve plenty of room to spare.” Tina replied dismissively as she poked at her bowl of porridge.
“Still, we wouldn’t want to be in your way once the baby’s here. That’s for you guys to enjoy on your own,” The blonde witch persisted, both at the conversation and trying to feed Ralph an apple slice.
Jacob nodded his agreement. “How long do you have left, Tina?”
“Two months and three weeks.”
The last few months had been a whirlwind to the Scamanders. Tina was now six months into her pregnancy but she was already tired of it. It had been nicer than Tina expected but the changes in her body still bothered her. She was slow and uncoordinated. Her back seemed to constantly protest at the extra weight she was carrying. She couldn’t eat what she wanted; some things would make her ill. Her abdomen had swollen prolifically, setting a defined curve in even the loosest of Tina’s clothes. Her belly fascinated Newt. In fact, everything about her seemed to fascinate Newt at the moment. She’d never admit it, but she was enjoying the attention that her husband was showering on her.
“It’ll go like that, I promise you.” Queenie snapped her fingers.
“Well,” Tina eased herself into a chair opposite Newt. “Not quick enough.” she muttered.
Newt smiled into his cereal. Considering his original misgivings, Newt was taking this all remarkably well. He was clearly getting excited. In the moments where he wasn’t fussing over her, he was fixing up the nursery or baby-proofing other areas of the house. The only thing they hadn’t prepared was a name. They were both of the opinion that they’d know when they met their baby.
The Kowalskis did eventually find their place in Britain. In Dorset, too, oddly enough. They bought a nice little three-bed in the biggest town. Jacob set up a new bakery and it was, naturally, a hit with the townsfolk within days.
It seemed to Tina that her two biggest wishes were being fulfilled. She and Newt were having a child that they wanted. Queenie was close to her again.
When the baby finally arrived, at 8:03am on the 9th of December 1931, it seemed that all their preparation wasn’t worth much at all.
Tina hadn’t recognised her first contractions for what they were, assuming they were just hicks. It was, after all, a week before her due date. Over the course of a few hours, though, the pain become too strong and lasted for too long to write off as practise contractions. Newt kept extraordinarily calm in that first stage, even when her water broke.
It was the parts after arriving at the hospital that Newt struggled to recall. He remembered practically carrying Tina to a bed. How tightly she had held onto his hand. The noise she had made, moaning and whimpering and ragged breathing. The screaming, towards the end.
The sun was just beginning to rise when Tina finally managed to deliver their child into the world. For a moment, the baby hadn’t cried, leaving both Newt and Tina alone in a skin-crawling moment of silence.
Their child, their son, started to wail soon after.
In the last three months of Tina’s pregnancy, they received two bouts of terrible news. In late September, Newt received a telegram from the Ministry to inform him that his elder brother, Theseus Scamander, had been killed in yet another futile attempt to apprehend Grindelwald.
In November, Tina got word that her old boss, Percival Graves, had also fallen victim to Gellert Grindelwald. Newt had asked her once, before they were married, if she’d ever had a romantic relationship with Graves. Tina said almost.
They named him Perseus. Perseus Newton Scamander, and he was the most beautiful thing that Newt had ever beheld.
He mostly took after Tina. He had her dark hair. Glossy and thick, smooth as silk. His skin was her porcelain colour, once the ruddiness had faded, free of any freckles. He had Newt’s eyes though, a strange off-blue like sea water.
Newt couldn’t stop looking at him. He was sold the moment that Tina asked if he wanted to hold him.
Perseus seemed content with them both, snoozing in the crook of Newt’s elbow, swaddled in snow white blankets from his aunt Queenie. Newt had climbed onto the bed with Tina and she lay against him, head on his shoulder.
“What do we do now?” she whispered to him, stroking a finger across Perseus’ little hand.
“The nurse says we can take him home.” Newt said softly in reply, but that seemed like the most terrifying thing to him. He was so in love with his son, but also terrified of him. Jacob said that was normal.
“That’s scary.” Tina echoed his thoughts.
“I know, but we’ll take care of him.”
Newt turned his eyes back to his baby son. He’d lost count how many times he’d done that already.
“You’ll be just fine, won’t you, Perseus? It breaks my heart that the world isn’t as good as you deserve, but it isn’t all bad, I promise. The world is full of some amazing things and they’re all around you. I’ll teach you to see them. I swear that I will. You can do the things that they never did. That I never did. Or you can do none of it, if that’s what you want. I won’t ever mind, so long as you’re happy. That’s what matters, really. All I’m ever going to want is for you to be happy. Can you do that for me? We’ll see.
But of all the things I’ve seen in this mad world, you are certainly the most fantastic.”

OUAT 6x17 Thoughts
I have a couple more things to say about this episode.
-First and foremost, Regina’s reaction to Hook being back though. I think it’s burned into my memory. The way she’s just looking down all sad. But then she helps Hook up and follows it up with helping Emma up as well. I can’t with Regina’s face in this moment.
-I have to say, the second proposal was almost heartwarming given it followed what might have been the first sort of romantic moments between them. If their moments weren’t still built on a mountain of lies and deception. And if holding onto each other didn’t always lead to some kind of loss for someone else. And the body count per moment only got higher with each one.
I mean, Emma tries to keep Hook alive by turning him into a Dark One. Dark Hook kills Merlin and almost kills Emma’s entire family and resurrects all Dark Ones ever. The dude actually killed the father of magic or something.
Emma goes to the Underworld to get Hook. Regina loses Robin.
Hook tries to get back to Emma. R.I.P. Nemo’s ship.
Emma takes the door of ambiguous true love to Hook and both her parents lose their ability to live life. Not to mention that that leads to an even higher body count of a lot of people who were under the original Dark Curse, including Regina and even the savior, Emma, and Hook who had both managed to escape it.
I’d say that’s the universe trying to send a pretty clear message. But that’s just me.
-The flower tattoo of deception was back in full view during that moment. I can’t let go of the idea that it’s still a stand-in for that pink flower of deception in these scenes. And possibly stands for deception in general.
Makes me think of this quote
“Believe only half of what you see and nothing that you hear.” ― Edgar Allan Poe
(x)
This show has been telling us Captain Swan is true love, while showing us them acting in love with each other while simultaneously glossing over lies and any issues whatsoever. So not a good relationship by real world standards. Not to mention what they haven’t shown us. No true love action between the two in any of the core tried and true ways they established prove true love on this show. Instead what we have seen is these actions not working for them, be it true love’s kiss, true love’s heart share, you name it and it didn’t work for them when it did for our confirmed main true love, still together, couple Snowing and others.
-Another thing that is important is that when the proposal started Regina retreated and pulled Henry with her. But in my opinion if Henry was truly a part of Emma’s family with Hook he wouldn’t have had to leave. I realize that proposals are often private matters, but in this case Henry was already there. Right there. It involved him too. Emma is his mother. Who is raising him at least half the time. Yet, just like Regina, he was on the outside looking in. They even went so far as to have Snowing also present, but also on the outside.Along with Regina and Henry sitting with them. Also clearly showing us the cost of this proposal, like this elephant in the room. Both a couple and a family whose relationship is based on love, trust and honesty broken up, in favor of having another whose relationship is based on lies and deception “win”. In 5x21 Henry said that magic was tearing his parents apart. This proposal couldn’t be a better representation of that if it tried.
-They also let us know that even with your heart in someone else’s possession you can go against their wishes. I’m guessing it’s just a lot harder. Or...it’s a trap. What are the odds that Gideon, by the order of the Black Fairy, banishes Hook to the Nautilus, that can travel through portals, with supposedly no way of returning to Storybrooke? What are the odds that he ends up in Neverland, where Tiger Lily gives him something that can supposedly help the savior? What are the odds that the Black Fairy’s arrival then leads to the sprouting of pixie flowers and then when heart-ordered to destroy all of them Gideon leaves one alive? One that leads Emma to Hook which would have led her to what Hook needed to give her if he hadn’t managed to think of sending his shadow with it to her? I ask you, what are the odds? I smell a con. Either the Black Fairy actually ordered Gideon to leave a flower alive or she knows Gideon well enough to know he would do that. She has tested him on it, both his loyalty to her and his need to help others in need. Which is actually brilliant because she can actually use people against themselves. Make them think her idea is actually their own. By getting ahead of them, manipulating circumstances and anticipating their reactions correctly. Kind of like how Cora used Regina’s kindness, her knowledge that Regina would save someone who seemed to need it for her own agenda. It’s brilliant, truly. Also, so either Emma needs the thing Tiger Lily got her to fight the final battle, a battle the The Black Fairy really needs to play out. Or the Black Fairy actually needs the thing Tiger Lily got Emma and this is her way to get it. Who knows, Tiger Lily may even be working for the Black Fairy. Either way, no one can convince me that after Gideon betrayed her once, the Black Fairy didn’t know enough to realize that it could happen again even without Gideon having his heart. She said she practically invented darkness and you’re telling me she doesn’t know how it works? Please.
-They also clearly showed us the existence of a true love hand-hold. Or true love touch. If I’m not mistaken that is how David woke Snow. And it was the most romantic thing. Also, note that the true love hand-hold led to a true love’s kiss. In Mary Margaret’s mind David was a stranger to her and so he needed to find another way to wake her. And so he used talk leading to a “do you trust me?” moment and the touch of a hand.
-Also, as I said, I really wonder what evil happened or was about to happen when Emma was 10 that it made a pixie flower grow. My money is on it being something happening to Emma in the real world that her parents could have prevented if they had chosen to. Or things being set in motion more firmly fairy tale-wise toward the final battle. I still can’t believe they walked away from their kid a second time when she was still a kid. I don’t believe for a second that Emma isn’t mad about that. Hell, I’m mad about that.
-Oh, I mentioned before that with the pixie dust true love, among other things, Emma and Hook are paralleling Regina and Robin. Which isn’t a good thing for Emma and Hook’s relationship I don’t think.
You know what Regina and Robin’s relationship led to though? Emma sacrificing herself to safeguard Regina’s happy ending with Robin. One that didn’t last, first and foremost because Regina couldn’t be happy when Emma was a Dark One and wasn’t happy herself. And also, because Robin ended up dying.
If Emma and Hook are truly going to parallel Regina and Robin then it would stand to reason that so would the events affecting these relationships. Regina watched that proposal between Emma and Hook. For all intents and purposes it looks like this is the happy ending Emma wants. Like Regina seemed to want hers with Robin. So that would mean that this time around Regina will sacrifice herself for Emma and Hook’s happy ending. Which Emma will not be okay with. All of which will ultimately end in Hook’s death.
Which everyone and their dog has been speculating I think. Regina’s possible sacrifice, maybe even her death. Hook’s death. And the Regina-Robin/Emma-Hook parallel supports it as well.
EDIT: I also noticed something else. When Regina drinks from the beaker Emma rushes to take it from her once she’s done. Then Henry drinks. Archie and Marco are also grouped together and after Marco Granny drinks. After they wake up Granny and Marco hug. And it makes me wonder if Granny and Marco are together. I remember that when the Curse of Shattered Sight broke Granny had a similar moment with Doc.
My point is that when taking the curse people who mean something to each other are grouped together, families, friends.
Regina, Emma and Henry.
Archie and Marco and possibly Granny.
But Hook and Emma are actually separated by Regina drinking in between them. Which I find very interesting, especially because Emma chooses to drink after Regina and not because she’s right next to her.
On top of that, Hook and Emma stand together after they take the curse and as a result they end up asleep together, Emma’s head on Hook’s chest. And it has this very eerie Romeo & Juliet vibe to me. That of doomed/ill-fated love and love/death as a result of family feuds and involving your family’s wishes. The difference being that in Romeo & Juliet those two go against their family’s wishes while here it seems Emma’s family is on board with Emma being with Hook.
#I realize some of this has probably already been mentioned#but I wrote this in a note app yesterday#after the episode but didn't have access to the internet to post it#so I'm doing it now#if nothing else#this will be a you are not alone in seeing this therefore you are not delusional and neither am I post#ouat#swan queen#6x17

LIW Review: The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy
This series is a little different from others that I’ve reviewed because it has three seasons, and I’m reviewing them all together because the whole story is short enough for that to be possible.
The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy is loosely based on Peter Pan, but the characters are now adults living in Neverland, Ohio. Tinkerbell is still an actual fairy, but Peter is now a comic book author and the Darlings own the local newspaper, the Kensington Chronicle. Tiger Lily is now Lily Bhaga, a businesswoman with more money than you can shake a stick at. Hook becomes the owner of a media company (JH Media), and Smee becomes his multitalented assistant.
Format:
This series is very mixed-format. In Season One, everything is either a “Dear Darling” video filmed by Wendy or shot from the point of view of Tinkerbell, which allows the camera to move and allows her to exist as a fairy without having to show her. In Seasons Two and Three, a lot of episodes are shot by the cameras that Jas Hook has installed in all of his offices. The characters were all active on Twitter, and the Kensington Chronicle (later the K-Chron) existed as a real newsletter.
Realism:
Well, there’s an actual fairy involved, so obviously we’re stretching belief a little bit from the start. The real issue with realism is the filming. All the footage exists in-universe, as I said, but there’s no justification for how it’s being edited or for any of its existence on the internet. Since there’s no in-universe YouTube channel, it works, but creating the justification for filming and then not creating a fictional framework for what happens with the footage is a strange combination that doesn’t entirely work for me.
Representation/diversity:
Season One starts out with only five characters. Four of them are white. Lily is Indian and very, very rich. She and Wendy also have a very negative relationship, and Lily is generally not portrayed in a very positive way. I’m not convinced that Season One passes the Bechdel Test, though I would have to rewatch to be sure. If it does, it does not do so with flying colors.
Season Two is different, and just generally better. We get Billie, a female pirate (fine, JH Media employee) who has an actual friendship with Wendy. Ethnic diversity goes up in Season Two. The characters get more complex (Peter does bad things, Hook does good things), and there’s non-stigmatized LGBTQ+ representation (well, okay, just G, but for such a big-budget webseries that’s huge).
Season Three is the wrap-up season, and it pays equal attention to the gay relationship as to the two straight ones (technically it’s the second most important/spotlit relationship of the three). There’s good parental advice, which is always nice to see. There are discussions of money, which is something the was sorely lacking in the first two seasons (these people are hopelessly upper class, especially for LIW characters).
I should also mention that John Darling has OCD, and it is discussed frequently, usually in a very healthy way. Other characters (notably Peter) probably have various mental health issues, but these are never discussed or named.
My three favorite things about The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy:
1) Episodes 12 and 13 of Season Three. I can’t say why without serious spoilers, but those two episodes made me feel many things.
2) John Darling. I don’t identify with him, but at the same time I do, very strongly. I sympathize with and understand him more than anything else, and I love him.
3) The aesthetic. The production values are super high, the sets and costumes are a pleasure to look at – visually, everything is wonderful.
Difficult things about New Peter + Wendy:
Well, the money and realism points I mentioned earlier are definite issues, but I think this series suffered from two other big problems. First, an aversion to really digging deep. There were moments of raw emotion and honesty, but not as many as there could have been. The script often just didn’t quite go where it maybe should have gone. The second issue is how dependent they were on funding. Season Two somehow got massive amounts of money, so they cast recognized actors, filmed more episodes, and frequently used multiple camera angles. Then, for Season Three, they had considerably less funding, and so there were fewer episodes and simpler filming setups. While I understand that funding is important, especially if you have to pay your actors, it seems silly to see a series with many thousands of viewers asking for many more thousands of dollars when series with similar formats make just as high-quality content with no money whatsoever or with very little (Nothing Much To Do and Lovely Little Losers spring to mind, though there are obviously others as well).
The Verdict:
I enjoyed this series immensely, and of course the production itself was nearly flawless, but the lack of depth, the small number of episodes, and the disconnect with the rest of the LIW community cause problems for me that no other series has. It’s in a weird place between television and a regular LIW, and it maybe could have taken some queues from other LIWs in how it operated. That being said, when you need a cute little diversion with high production values, fairly strong representation, a fairy-cam, and actors who people have actually heard of, you really can’t go wrong here. 4/5 stars overall.
Cast:
Wendy Darling – Paula Rhodes
Peter Pan – Kyle Walters (who also played Ed Denham in Welcome to Sanditon)
Michael Darling – Brennan Murray
John Darling – Graham Kurtz
Lily Bhaga – Lovlee Carroll
Jas Hook – Percy Daggs III (you may remember him from Veronica Mars)
John Smee – Satya Bhabha (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, among other things)
George Darling – Jim Beaver (yes, that Jim Beaver)
Billie Jukes – Meghan Camerena
Created by Kyle Walters and Shawn DeLoache/EpicRobotTV @newpeterwendy
Three seasons, seventy-six episodes.

OUAT 617 Part VI
Why didn’t Tiger Lily go with them?
Okay gross. WHY is Regina lurking in the background for what should be beautiful, PRIVATE CS moments? She’s like a nasty Peeping Tom or something. Go away
NO NO NO do this is private... hey, she did leave. That’s nice. It’s like the one time Regina did the right thing, hahahaha. Except it was probably more a matter of jealousy than anything, but still.
Oh hey, there’s that tattoo we’re never going to find out about.
Meh, she didn’t go far away.
NO, NO NO. They went into a sleeping curse because Regina fucking put them under one (and “good” Regina could’ve stopped it but didn’t, thinking they were going to fucking die) and then couldn’t undo it. The way they’re whitewashing Regina yet a-fucking-gain is despicable. I can’t wait to edit her right the fuck out of this episode and then it shall be beautiful.
Okay, but again, Regina can’t find it in herself to actually ever admit what she did. She’ll make vague references like “I didn’t always make it [easy to live in Storybrooke]” or “I’ve done terrible things” or...okay this warrants its own bitching post too. Never mind...
Also since when does that
“To find their own happiness” um also to FIND EMMA’S HAPPINESS.
Since when do Sleeping curses come in drinkable form AFTER they’ve already been cast? I mean seriously what the fuck is up with this show? The continuity is just completely shot to hell.
Oh my god this is so STUPID. I mean the CS moments were lovely but the overall arc of this episode makes no fucking sense.
“You gave up your family for them” / “And got a bigger one in return” Okay but wow I honestly have tears in my eyes right now thinking about how Emma’s parents just don’t give a fuck about her when you get down to it. They’re willing to sacrifice her for these people. And they WEREN’T willing to sacrifice Regina. I mean seriously, holy shit they really are trying to make DAMN sure we don’t miss Snowing, aren’t they?
Yes she will. She will face her alone because that’s how this works. Emma is just a Savior, not her own person, to everyone but Killian.

i could be off, but i dont think hook has a centric, unless they give him the finale, or the musical, which we all know it's not gonna happen. the tiger lily stuff seems to take place in present, while the fb tiger lily happens in the black fairy one- which is a rumple centric(the 3rd one/6b, while hook/0). the musical has slim chances to be a hook ep, b/c colin hasn't been filming at least 2 days out of 4 in the 1st week for 6.20. but i do think the wedding happens in 6.20. yay! 30 sec wed (1)
Yeah looking at the eps and spoilers it looks unlikely that he does have a centric this half. Apparently guest characters warrant a centric in the possibly final season more than a main character.
I thought the Neverland setting and Blackbeard/Lost Boy’s was for him.
I’m pretty bummed about this but not at all surprised that he doesn’t get anything.
I wanted to see more about his past, and have him get at least one episode of focus before we end the show but it doesn’t look like that’s happening.
Edited to add: I dunno about the wedding in the musical. I will be pretty pissed if it is and they only get a few minutes in an episode jam packed with other frippery. I’m hoping it’s a wedding prep episode like my speculation and they actually get the finale for the wedding. I shall not hold my breath though, I just wanted it to be more than a whole two minutes of screentime with some actual depth and meaning for what I consider an important moment.

Let's Get Stoned and Zoned with These Suggestions
Leighana Martindale
It’s a weird time where we all have a lot of time to kill! While some of us still have to go to work [You are a hero if this is you!! - thank you!] most of us are slowly starting to lose our minds.
And while there a bunch of amazing ways for us to stimulate our brains during this time, sometimes we just want to get stoned and zone out. So this list is for you if you’re looking for something to help you forget about the state of the world.
6 Netflix Shows to Binge:
Tiger King
This show is absolutely insane and I almost feel like Netflix was sitting on this waiting for us all to be home! This show includes murder, drugs, hillbillies, and a whole lot of big cats! I promise you your mind will be blown and you’ll definitely have a ton of wtf?! Moments during this series.
via GIPHY
Grace and Frankie
This is probably one of, if not my all-time favorite shows. Frankie is by far my favorite television character. Her let loose, fuck it, yet be peaceful attitude is the most relatable and literal goals for when I grow up. Follow along with Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as their husbands leave them to get married to each other.
via GIPHY
Charmed
The power of three is definitely a power not to be messed with. These badass sister witches fight demons and all different kinds of evil in this nostalgic 90s tv show. Definitely recommend if you’re into mystical types of TV shows - nothing too realistic or violent though, so safe to watch!
via GIPHY
Gilmore Girls
Ahh yes, the mother-daughter duo that we all want to be. Another nostalgic tv show, step back in time with Gilmore girls and even the year in the life Netflix series they did.
via GIPHY
Love is Blind
Normally I am not one for reality tv and definitely not one to recommend it but this experiment was so addicting to watch! The premise is that people meet in these pods so you never see the person, only talk to them - the end goal being to fall in love and get married! It’s crazy, Smoke a joint and watch it, you’ll be into it.
via GIPHY
Shine On
Causing a range of emotions, this show is so well done and so badass. Reese Witherspoon meets with different badass women from different sectors of work and talks with them about their jobs and social constructs. You will probably cry, and it’ll probably be during the episode with p!nk.

*NEW MOON* in SAGITTARIUS 11/26/19 After plunging the depths we rise! Those of us who gave up the ghost are resurrecting from the funeral pyre. Sagittarius brings us a passionate impulse to radically burst forth in a new direction, to cast off our clothing and shackles, and let our arrows fly. And while there’s a real wind that can lift us to higher ground, we can temper our impulses with a grounded strategic vision to expand in the ways our Soul has deeply desired. It’s the result of genuine healing which allows us to be brave hearts, ready to face whatever challenges may arise, because we are coming from our authentic truth. That is the freedom net that Sagittarius casts forth, as the light breaks upon the horizon… ::: PAT LILES says : “our horizons expand : Axis Mundi : allow love and connection to all beings be the guiding force : release where we have felt wounded in love and respect : acceleration and evolution: differentiating from the dominant culture : deep in our dream-creating essence : welcome in what awaits us after our lengthy surrender of the old” : PAM YOUNGHANS: “tune our thoughts to the right vibrations in order to attract the right results : AND being open to the Will of the Cosmos” : APRIL ELLIOT KENT: “Envisioning something that hasn’t existed before : ignore nay-sayers : resist the urge to imitate others : keep dreaming bigger dreams for ourselves, and for our world” : ELLIAS LONSDALE: “something extraordinary is happening : liberated to conceive the inconceivable and to renew your tangled and damaged roots in the old wise woman way that never ages and always works” ::: Full download >mysticmamma.com ARTbyme #MYSTICMAMMA > “EROS ARROW” (Edited) Limited Edition Prints in shop ↠🖤

i'm viewing this time as our opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and the people and place that gives us life (ahem, planet earth). life has been stripped back for the majority of the world. we've lost access to daily distractions. we're forced to isolate. some of us are really, really sick. some of us don't have the privilege to stay at home. yet all of us are going through this together. how are you treating others during this time? have you reached out and checked in? are you checking in with yourself? if you have access, are you engaging with nature? have we all thought about how our earth gives and gives and gives, how humans take and take and take? are you observing how this whole thing has interrupted your typical daily consumption?

Strains to Puff Puff on:
- GDP
Granddaddy Purple is one of my favorite Indica cultivars. With deep purple notes and a strongly sweet and earthly aroma, it’s hard not to enjoy this strain and its one that’s been around for years.
- Hindu Kush
Another amazing Indica, and one with an international fan base, Hindu kush has that deep piney smell with strong notes of caryophyllene.
- Orange Cookies
This delicious strain not only has notes of sweet orange but that pungy gasoline smell that a lot of the cookies family is infamous for.
- Sour Tangie
Of course a true favorite, sour tangie is a delicious cross of tangie x sour diesel giving you that sweet orange with a sour chem flavor that is strong! If you’re lucky enough to get some bud from the highly sought after genetics - which comes from true NY sour diesel genetics, then you should count your blessings and use a hemp-wick!
[p.s.: smoking with Hemp-wick helps you taste the true terpene profile of a flower instead of burning those flavors with butane]
- Do-si-dos
A huge hit in cannabis markets across the world lately, do-si-dos has a strong and pleasant aroma to it and is apart of the cookies family. Do-si-dos genetics are og kush x girl scout cookies so you can imagine how tasty it truly is.
- Helen Back
This strain has such a good terpene profile and beautiful bud structure, especially when you are getting high noon cult’s cut of it! Their genetics and the love they put into their bud’s are amazing! Helen back is an animal cookies cross and one I would highly recommend seeking out!
