Halloween has become a bit of a joke to Catalina over her many centuries of life. From the Druids of old believing they would be transformed into black cats as punishment for bad deeds or being cursed by dark magic, to the promiscuous costumes that still plague the parties thrown on All Hallows' Eve to this day. She wasn’t particularly feeling the whole ‘dress up’ theme of it all this year, but she’d pestered Elias enough that she knew he’d never let her live it down if some semblance of effort wasn’t shared. She eventually decided to go as a vampire; mostly because it was easy, but mainly because she knew there would be some of that particular species skulking around tonight. If she had to deal with the feline costumes, they had to deal with this. She wasn’t charitable enough to break the cycle.
