gojo would definitely be a thrill-seeker, and he drags you along to all of the most extreme rides there are. if you're unfortunate, he'll get really sick afterwards and you'd have to take him to the kids rides. but then ten minutes later, he'll be going crazy on the teacups, enough for you to get sick instead of him.

he's the best at everything, isn't he? he'd teach you how to shoot and do a 1v1 with you, only to absolute smash the score 34-2 in record time. and the two pointer you got, he LET you have it. afterwards, if you're not tall enough, he'd lift you up and help you do a dunk. probably rips his pants at some point.

i know a zoo is random, but hear me out. gojo is obsessed with looking at cute animals, and he compares every single one to you. panda? that's you. otter? that's you. any type of fox? that's you. the baby voice is ON every time a baby animal is around. he gets fascinated by the reptile section because they remind him of digimon (random but ok) and reads every single fact file that he can, but he avoids the insect section like the plague and the only thing he'd willingly go to see is the butterflies. if there's any silly merchandise, he'll buy it, as well as a plushie of his favourite animal and yours.

p.s. DO NOT and i repeat, DO NOT try to scare him in the insect section. any minor spooks, and he will not hesitate to hollow purple.

geto suguru

perfume stores, onsens, cat cafes

i'm gonna be really honest, it's difficult to imagine geto doing anything as his evil curse user self (and because i refuse to rewatch the movie) however if he does take a liking to you, i do believe that he would take you to different high-end perfume stores to personally help you pick out a scent. he'll also restock on his own, and let you keep the old one so you can spray the clothes you stole from him ages ago with his perfume.

geto is a clean guy. he definitely takes care of himself (and his hair, but that's a whole other story) so treating you and him to a bath happens more frequently than you'd expect. he doesn't like going to sentos over onsens because they're less natural. his heat tolerance is unsurprisingly high as well, and he could stay in the water for hours if he really wanted to. is SO gentle when washing your back too, it would feel more like a massage if anything.

ummm... it just seems right. this one's for teen geto. he's probably a natural cat magnet. literally every single cat in the cafe would be all over him. if you get upset that no cats came to you, he'd try to put one on your lap, but it just came crawling right back to him. A for effort.

nanami kento

museums, restaurants, balconies

tell me right now that it wouldn't be cute if nanami took pictures of you taking pictures in a museum??? somehow, every single photo he has on his camera roll has you in it. would be invested if you're interested in a particular theme and bring you to more museums like that.

a true gentleman. he studies what you do and don't like to bring you to the beat restaurants that suit your tastes. will NEVER EVER let you pay the bill. if you try to insist, he already sent his card over to the waitress before you guys even ordered so there's no way they'd take your money instead. he'd also let you use your card to buy new clothes for said dates if you feel like the ones you have aren't fancy enough.

bonus!!! but if we're going to be realistic, that also means he does A LOT more work to make up for the lost money. nanami's a saver, not a spender. if he spends, he's gotta get that money back. be careful with what you pick!

you know balconies that give you a clear view of a famous or popular momument? one of those balconies. maybe for something like the tokyo tower or the tokyo skytree, then you'd get to see it light up at night!

ieri shoko

wine tasting, her bed, medical tv series/court cases

yes, she does like alcohol. no, it would not be ideal if she was getting drunk 1pm on a wednesday. consumes all sorts of drinks, but wine is the safest. to her, all wine tastes the same, or she can pick out even the tiniest details from different brands. no in between.

no, i do not mean this in that way!!!! shoko probably likes to sleep, but doesn't get many opportunities to. if she finally gets even a short break off work, the two of you will manage to get halfway through a movie before succumbing to sleep. she really doesn't move around that much while laying down, maybe doesn't even move at all. definitely looks really pretty in the morning (i can confirm) and the first thing she does is guzzle down a whole bottle of water and smoke a cigarette. stress is really something else.

shoko probably hyper-analyses medical shows and nitpicks on scenarios that are completely incorrect or different just for drama purposes. however, she loves watching dramatic court cases. especially paternity court, and judge judy. if you've seen that one video of rolling ray on divorce court, then you know how funny it is. definitely shoko's favourite and she always comes back to rewatch it.

iori utahime

haunted houses, shinto shrines, enjoying tea in a gazebo

you're the one taking her to a haunted house actually. put tape on her mouth, because her screams are crazy loud, and dangerously high pitched. one of the actors actually had to break character and cover their ears at some point, and that was only from a light scare. you'd have to yank her by the hand or arm to get her to go through the entrance, and hides behind your back the entire time.

not really a date, and she'll take you to one every year. utahime does wear traditional miko outfit, which i believe is linked to shintoism(?), so she probably used to go by herself before she even met you.

a gazebo is half indoors, half outdoors sort of, and this kind of vibe is relaxing. spring weather is the best time for dates like this. mild weather, just a bit of wind, and... pollen. utahime loves spring, but i also think she has a bad pollen allergy. she still does go on these dates knowing this because it does take a lot of stress off her shoulders, and illness isn't forever. she always brings different kinds of tea for the two of you to try.

bonus!!! would get so into world cups of any sport. even goes as far as dragging you out to bars or ordering pizza and beer for the games. trust me, i was surprised too when i read this in the fanbook.

yu haibara

unpopular restaurants, carousels, trees

haibara has a hobby of eating at restaurants that have little to no customers. he's totally convinced that the best food is made at these kind of places, and bonus points if there's a vending machine nearby. if you're unsure of the quality, he'll always try the meals before you do a few days prior, to see if he'll get sick or not after trying the food.

he has a lot of energy, so haibara really likes amusement parks! however, if you randomly spot a carousel in the middle of nowhere, he will drag you all the way and sit you down on the horse next to his. he's not even embarrassed having the two of you on them when only kids go on these rides. 10/10 experience still. he had the time of his life sitting on a miniature fake horse that moves up and down and goes 4mph in continuous circles.

he looks like the kind of guy that would climb trees to enjoy a view. the two of you would have a special tree that's particularly large and easy to climb, and in front of a flower field or river. even brings snacks so you can enjoy each other's company until it gets dark. if you're afraid of heights or not a good climber, he'll personally escort you all the way up, carrying you using one arm, you clinging onto his back, any way that feels most comfortable for you.

tsukumo yuki

anywhere on her motorcycle, fields, flower picking

she would definitely pull up to your house in the middle of the night and tell you to get dressed and hop on her bike. or just go in your pyjamas, she doesn't mind. she's very likely to go way over the speed limit, so beware. maybe does a wheelie out of nowhere just to scare you, but she also likes how you tighten your grip on her waist.

yuki could make the worst date ideas seem so romantic. she'll drive you out to the middle of literally nowhere, the sun would be starting to set, and as soon as she parks her bike, she's running off into the distance. rolling around in the grass >>> sitting down. she'd feel like a teen all over again and just be having fun. the dirty clothes when you get back are not as fun though...

kinda links to the fields. she'd give you a basket and tell you to pick whatever you want, because the flowers around here are 'wild and free'. don't listen to her, because they are not! she's probably got into trouble with the owner of the flower field so many times because that's where she get her bouquets from. lowkey a crime.

fushiguro toji

mini golf, tag along, casinos

mini golf just gives me major dad vibes. and what is toji? a deadbeat dad. he'd actually get so into it after a while even though his technique and swing would be completely off. he's such a loser unintentionally. and he WON against you even when the ball goes completely off course.

lazy bum. if you mention the fact that you're going shopping by yourself to him, you're not anymore. no, he doesn't have money. no, he's not going to whip out a ring and propose. he's just there, like a dog. he would be so useless it's annoying. ask him for an opinion on anything and he'll go "looks good to me." it could be a trash bag, and he'd say the same thing like a damn parrot! it, in fact, does not look good, toji. the only things he's good for are scaring off other guys and holding your bags.

you get to witness toji losing all of his money first hand! please don't get into gambling like him, because he would let you do so with his money, the little money he has left when he's lost hope. if you earn him a lot, he'll bring you a lot more often as a "lucky sign".... his distress would be funny though, because his reactions are so weirdly animated coming from him. just don't let him borrow any money from you afterwards.

itadori yuji

karaoke, movie theatres, anime conventions

the two of you singing your hearts out on a school night >>> would go crazy on the mic and he wouldn't care who else heard him. he may just sing bad to make you laugh, or sing so seriously that it makes you laugh. duet songs are sooo his thing and he'd hype you up whenever your part comes.

and he'd take you to watch something weird as well. itadori was so passionate talking about 'earthworm' whatever it was, imagine what else he could be into? i can also see him watching marvel movies as well. deadpool would remind him so much of gojo so he'd start buying the comics after that.

cosplaying with him!!! i think if his hair was more yellow with a bit of temporary dye, he could pass as a good naruto. also, he could look just like natsu from fairy tail. matching cosplays or not, he takes a concerning amount of pictures of you and a bit of him. mostly you. the two of you would make the mistake of buying a different kind of paint that doesn't wash off instead of face paint, and he'd be stuck with markings or details on his face for ages.

fushiguro megumi

puri kuras, build-a-bear stores, bridges

you force him to go to a puri kura. nothing is better than grumpy megumi having the most adorable filters and accessories slapped onto his face. half way through, he'd get a little into it and get used to your poses. maybe he'll do a heart with you at the end. maybe. behind his phonecase, he has the pictures hidden inside and looks at them before a mission.

you'd also force him to go to build-a-bear, but he's more willing to go here. is also willing to get matching ones. he'd pretend to be indifferent about choosing clothes, and then the next week you'd see his plush in a new shirt. sir... i know that didn't come from nowhere? would rather have you make a wish on his plush's heart instead of doing it instead, but if you beg ask nicely enough, he'll do it to yours. apparently they can have heartbeats too? megumi secretly wants yours in one of his bears one day.

bridges just feel like a good hang out spot yk? maybe ones that are above rivers in a quiet area, or a large empty road at night. it's like nobody's truly watching and holds an odd amount of privacy, which he likes. the cutesy side of him comes out as well. holding you close, kissing you, swinging your arms with his (the last one is more you than him, but he bears with it) anything he holds back from doing in public.

kugisaki nobara

shopping malls, boutiques/salons, the beach

this one's obvious. if the two of you get a bunch of money, this is the first stop. according to the fanbook, apparently nobara likes balenciaga and onitsuka tiger..? have you seen how expensive those brands are? either her spending habits or crazy, or she only buys for one use and then returns it the next day. or perhaps she just likes trying things on. still somehow manages to have a bunch of clothes in her closet.

100% believes in investing for summer glowups, even though she doesn't need one. is also 100% likely to get SCAMMED out of a bunch of money because of fake five star reviews. she can and will get her money back, even if that means somebody needs to get beat up. skincare, getting her roots touched up professionally, maybe her lashes or eyebrows getting done, new tights and underwear, anything that would enhance her features and make her feel better. she's proud and happy her appearance in general, but doesn't mind going the extra step to make herself look even better.

nobara is constantly torn between having a tan, or doing everything within her power to not get one. if models in magazines do get a little tan for their photoshoots in summer, then she'll try it out herself. looks so pretty with a tan! she isn't the biggest fan of swimming because the water is salty, but she loves ice cream and fresh fruit if she can get her hands on some. would kill to try drinking a coconut one day.

zenin maki

training, accessory shopping, feeding pigeons

training, but make it affectionate and flirty. i will forever stand by the fact that maki could be the biggest flirt if she wanted to. she would not take the sparring seriously at all and makes an effort to fluster you whenever possible. oh, and she won't hit you at all, melee or fists. gets you a cold bottle of water if you actually tried your best during it, or if your face just looks really red (i wonder why)

maki's legwarmers as a first year will be missed... if she wasn't occupied with being a jujutsu sorcerer, i think she'd like to dwell in her sense of fashion a little more, because it gives her a sense of character and confidence. she does have different pairs of glasses, as well as a variety of accessories that are already in her possession. wouldn't mind matching socks (even if they're silly, she can defend herself) or jewellery.

very VERY random, i know. maki is a softie deep down, but she doesn't always have time or ideas for dates. if she knows she'll finish a mission early, or has some time before a mission, she'll take you out to some open space nearby and pull out some bread she had prepared. at first, it would be calm, but if you accidentally throw a piece of bread too close to where the two of you are, then all hell breaks loose. weird hc, but i do think she's scared of pigeons, especially ones that aren't wary of humans.

inumaki toge

internet cafes, picnics, lego stores

gamer inumaki will forever be canon in my head. insists for you to pick whatever food you want, and also leaves out the part where he wants you to pay for everything. you may have to put a muzzle on this boy because you are not risking anyone hearing the foul things that could come out of his mouth. absolutely carries you in a game or two and is so proud of it.

i think he likes snacks a lot, so no actual food would be packed except for rice balls (intentional by the way) inumaki loves feeding you and does the pocky game for every single stick in the pack. the two of you may not even speak at all and just enjoy the weather/surroundings. please let him lay his head on your lap, and please play with his hair.

might be reaching a bit but inumaki enjoys silent activities, so building legos with him??? yes. i guarantee you right now that he has at least twenty already completed sets. he'd let you buy any set you want, and the other one you didn't pick but still wanted, he'd buy it for your birthday or any gift giving holiday. may spend his savings on a huge set that would take days to finish.

bonus!!! pranking people in school or even in public, to the point where it may or may not be bordering illegal. messing around with strangers using his cursed speech would be SO funny (until you get caught)

okkotsu yuta

ferris wheels, stargazing, aquariums

yuta's the cutest istg... he prefers calm dates over active ones, and ferris wheels are calm, right? would be afraid of heights, but he'd go if you want to go. he looks visibly shaken when you're nearing closer to the top, so please hold his hand! gets really flustered when he wants to do something cheesy like kissing you when it gets to the tippy top.

yuta really doesn't have that much time on his hands, so sometimes he'd keep himself awake to go on a date that he promised on (that explains the dark circles). if he said he would take you on a date on friday, that means from 00:00 all the way up to 23:59, he HAS to within that time, or that's just breaking a promise. so if it's really late and he can't really take you anywhere, the rooftop of your house, or even the school would suffice. he likes drawing shapes with the stars. it's like cloudgazing, but just harder for you to visualise what he's looking at.

i think he cares for all living things and finds them interesting. his favourite? fishes! he's intrigued by how they technically live in a completely different world to humans, and how differently they function. if there's one of those walkways where the fish tank goes above your head and you can see the fishes swim above you, he'll be standing there for ages just watching. don't let him, because his neck will hurt after. gets really spooked if he sees sharks and they come really close.

kong shiu

late night drives, alleyways, jewellery shopping

your personal chauffeur, but there's no real destination in mind. maybe he'll take you places near the center or just busy overall like yokohama or shibuya so you can see how the buildings light up. shiu doesn't mind blowing off all of his gas so you can enjoy high speed roads with the windows down, and lets you play any music you want at any volume.

for smoking reasons really, but it just feels so intimate in a weird way. maybe it's the small distance between you and him, maybe it's the smell of smoke and how it clouds your vision. if you're not a smoker yourself, he'd buy you something sweet to mellow out his actions affecting you, most likely a lollipop, and makes sure you don't get too close to him.

this guy loves necklaces and rings on you. you get gifted a piece from a luxury brand every year for your birthday, AND your anniversary, AND gift giving holidays. will probably take you once a year to pick out what you'd like your engagement ring to look like, so he can follow the trend in your choices and have one custom made to look perfect. for when he actually proposes to you, of course. shiu may find marriage useless unless it's for tax benefits, but calling you his wife sounds much better than girlfriend. just that little extra reassurance on how he's committed to you.

ino takuma

arcades, skate parks, gyms

he'd try to seem like a cool boyfriend and try to win you something from the claw machines, then continue to mess up ten times in a row. you'd win it for him. play a racing game with him because he'd get so excited! air hockey too. he might let you win though. ino is also comically bad at the basketball games, and every single ball is a miss, and he'd get so sulky if you tease him.

he'd teach you how to skate! or he wants to try learning something new with you. he'd get the two of you a bunch of stickers, paint, markers, anything, so you guys can decorate your boards (or even each others). if he's a good skater, every time he rolls past you, he picks you up in his arms and takes you by surprise.

ino is definitely the type who'd want to impress you. he already is strong, but he'd pull just that little bit of extra weight on dumbells just to make himself seem a little better (please do seem impressed because that makes him very happy). he's the most encouraging spotter ever if you try lifting yourself, and follows you around everywhere you go in the gym. cardio? he'll match your speed. weights? he'll do the set with you at the same time. yoga? um... he'll try his best.

ryomen sukuna

his domain, high points in cities/towns, duck paddle boating

as if he'd take you on actual dates. if he's taking you on a date, it's against your will. will randomly pull you into his domain no matter the situation. sukuna refuses to admit that he just wanted to see or touch you, and dismisses it as the fact that YOU wanted to see HIM. we all know it's the other way around, who is he trying to fool?

you would be in the middle of beauty sleep and all of a sudden you'd wake up on a rooftop or hill. doesn't even elaborate on his reasonings, if he even has any. honestly, the view from so high up is nice, so you can't even be angry. he might threaten to burn everything in view down just to see your reaction. 50/50 chance he'll do it. really depends on where and how important the place is. (100% chance he won't do it if you go out of your way to ask him not to, which is every time) he's just amused, not soft. his words not mine

...i have no words. he swears on everything that he's doing it for you, and that you were the one eyeing the duck boats and telling him they were cute. he looks so out of place that people give him weird looks when he's on it with you. don't let him get pissed off or he can and will kill anyone that even gives a little glance in his direction, animals included (seriously don't let him do this)

choso

parks, art galleries, pottery classes

choso likes kids. not in a weird way, but he likes how they remind him of his younger brothers. if you've got a little brother of your own, he'd love to play with them the whole afternoon and make sure he tries out every single piece of equipment there. would tear up if your little brother calls him 'big bro'. keep him away from slides and swings, because he will get stuck somehow.

he has a weird feeling of connection to every piece of art in an art gallery. he'd walk up to a modern painting of shapes and say "this is so me..." umm, okay? ...it's lines and circles??? it's kinda cute how he feels like he resonates with everything though. analyses each piece like crazy and makes sure that no brush stroke is missed out. at least he's attentive. choso has a strong urge to touch literally everything there, so don't let him walk off and hold his hand the entire time.

wouldn't this just be so cute??? i can't even explain it. just you and choso making matching pots and painting them with the same colours or patterns.... he does mess up a few times here and there and gets really frustrated about it. maybe you'll press both of your fingerprints on the clay so it looks like a heart <3 100% buys you flowers a few days after the class so you can put them inside.

what bugs me most about the pjo show is that i know they could’ve done better. i knowwwww they could’ve been as faithful as they wanted to the books. for anyone saying “oh, but it’s an adaptation! it isn’t meant to be the same so stop whining that they took stuff out or that they’re adding things in different order!” well yes, i agree that adaptations aren’t meant to be a carbon copy of the source material for the simple fact that it’s adapting the source material into a different medium (television), yet it’s just that! a form of adapting the things that are unable to be channeled from, say, a book—or on the contrary, adding things that make sense for television but couldn’t be channeled into the books otherwise…all of this in a faithful manner. a good adaptation is one that stays true to the source material by properly adapting its themes, characters, symbolism, context, pacing, and the overall story/plot so as to not only be seen as a sort of love letter to the fans, but also to reach a wider audience.

just look at the hunger games! the movies are so faithful to the books to the point that most of the scenes are taken straight out of the books, dialogue and all. and they’re movies, aka less runtime than a freaking tv show and they still did it better. did the hg movies have to take a few scenes out? yes; they have only so much time to tell the story as it is told in the books. did they resume things, like the games themselves? also yes. but did most of the important scenes and character moments stay in the movies? also also yes. again, THESE ARE MOVIES!!!!! a medium much more limited than a freaking tv series with multiple episodes that have enough run time to add even more scenes from the books than what could be possible in a 2 hour (max) movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and yet they STILL changed so much that rly had no business being changed other than that the writers decided they felt like it because…..a lot of it im not even sure. and the worst thing of it all is that freaking rick riordan took part in script writing yet so much of the source material has been watered down???? they make a whole ass episode about a monster fight with the majority of the scenes from said episode not even present in the books instead of sticking to the perfectly good source material???? and by doing so they delete the small details that are very much integral to character development and plot???? huh???? the math isn’t mathing. don’t get me wrong, i do like some changes, but then i think: at what cost do they add these things when there was a perfectly good narrative without it? like, at what cost do we get the whole turning to gold sacrifice scene if they’re gonna take out all the fun details that make the lightning thief the lightning thief? for example the silly water park merch and then annabeth displaying her spider phobia and her mortification at going to the thrill ride of love with percy and then being broadcasted to olympus. this is just one episode, but they’ve been doing it in all of them. and u know, it’s not that i don’t hate-hate most these changes. again, what bugs me is that this was supposed to be a faithful adaptation. again, it’s a tv series, with so much more time to develop everything from the books. rick is behind it, who apparently hated the movies for how unfaithful they were. the cast is great. and yet…the script is so mediocre. the spark is lost. character traits are looked over in place for weird pacing and even weirder changes. if the hunger games could do it, then surely a pjo tv series could as well? apparently not? i really really Don’t Get It.

How I think side characters would act in a water park

A part two while I have time!

Diavolo, as stated previously, is a safety hazard. He'll flip the tube for fun, he'll attempt to drown people, he will do everything in his power to be an absolute chaotic force of nature. Except with Lucifer. He respects his boyfriend's need to be pretty. (Once the ALL dumps him in the water, it's all fair game though)

Barbatos enjoys the waterpark like a mom does. Watching, not really getting wet, taking pictures after rides. He'll ride some, if Diavolo asks him to, but otherwise, he's an observer.

Simeon is like Barbatos, except that he goes with Luke everywhere. He still takes constant (bad) photos, but he'll go on rides and go in the water.

Solomon is a chaos bringer. Not as bad as a certain demon prince, but if Asmo's hair is wet, rest assured it was his doing. He loves rides, but not as much pools. A thrill seeker

Luke is a child. Floaties, can't go on a lot of rides. He enjoys the wave pool and wants to go on bigger rides, but Simeon stops him. He also not allowed to be anywhere near Diavolo in the water

Mephistopheles stays around Diavolo or the ALL. He doesn't enjoy the water, but he'll do whatever Diavolo does. His hair is normally wet and he feels disgusting, but it's all in the name of Diavolo's fun, so he's fine with it.

Thirteen is another chaos bringer. She's worse than Solomon, not as bad as Diavolo. She flips tubes and dumps people in the water when she sees an opportunity, but doesn't actively seek it out. Loves the water and the rides

Summary: Throughout your years together, Jaehyun had consistently taken charge of organising your Valentine's Day celebrations, even though it was his own birthday. But as your fourth anniversary approached, you decided it was your turn to take the reins. Yet, in your attempt to plan the day, everything seemed to go awry. Or... did it?

If anyone ever doubted god has favourites, they clearly have not seen him. He was the embodiment of perfection, and he was all yours.

But you? Not so much.

Unlike your boyfriend, you weren't a social butterfly, didn't hold the captaincy of any sports team, nor were you a contender for the valedictorian title. You were simply an average university student, striving to ensure you progressed to the next semester without the burden of retaking any courses.

And yet, Jaehyun seemed to see something in you that even you struggled to recognise.

Despite your enduring status as the quiet and shy girl since high school, you somehow managed to capture the attention of the basketball team's heartthrob of a captain. It was on Valentine's Day of your senior year that he confessed his feelings to you, and as a birthday gift to him, you chose to accept his confession.

As time passed, you found yourselves celebrating your fourth year together. Initially, you harboured fears that your seemingly perfect boyfriend would eventually leave you once he came to realise how ordinary you were. However, each passing year proved you wrong as he continued to demonstrate his love and care, meticulously planning unforgettable Valentine's Day celebrations, even when it was his own birthday.

On your first Valentine's Day together, right after you said yes to being his girlfriend, Jaehyun swept you off your feet with a heartfelt surprise. He took you to your favourite café, where you indulged in boba and shared laughter over cosy conversations. From there, he surprised you with a trip to the arcade, where you both embraced your inner children, playing games and capturing adorable photos together, photos you still keep in your wallets to this day.

For your second Valentine's Day, he went above and beyond to make it memorable. He planned a full day at the amusement park, starting with a thrilling morning at the water park, where you splashed and laughed together, enjoying the refreshing waves and thrilling slides. As the sun began to set, you ventured into the theme park, hand in hand, experiencing the exhilarating rides and magical atmosphere. The day concluded with a hearty dinner, where you toasted to your love and the memories you had created throughout the day.

On your third Valentine's Day, Jaehyun surprised you with a romantic mountain retreat, whisking you away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Surrounded by breathtaking views and serene nature, you spent the day indulging in multiple couple activities, from hiking hand in hand along scenic trails to picnicking by a tranquil lake. As the sun dipped below the horizon, you cosied up together by a crackling fire, cherishing the warmth of each other's company.

As your fourth anniversary and Valentine's Day approached, a newfound sense of confidence and assurance settled within you, bolstered by your boyfriend's unwavering love over the years. Slowly but surely, you found it increasingly difficult to imagine your life without him by your side, and you were determined to make this February 14th one to remember.

With a flutter of anticipation, you recalled approaching him with a gentle smile a couple of weeks ago, "Jae, I'd like to be the one to plan our Valentine's Day this year. Can I?"

Initially taken aback by your proposal, his eyes lit up with warmth and affection as he wholeheartedly agreed, "Of course, my love. We'll do anything you want." He responded with a kiss on your head, his reassurance melting away any lingering doubts.

Filled with excitement and determination, you spared no effort in arranging the perfect evening for him. After much deliberation and meticulous planning, you managed to secure a reservation at an exclusive restaurant facing a famous beach in Seoul. They offered a special Valentine's Day package, promising a lavish fine dining experience, captivating performances, and the opportunity to dance the night away under the stars.

During the dancing session, you had already made plans to express your desire to spend forever by his side. Tradition be damned, considering all he had done for you, you didn't mind taking the initiative to propose.

Getting home from your internship that evening, excitement bubbled within you and Jaehyun as you dressed in your finest attire, ready for a night of enchantment. You slipped into an elegant little black dress while he donned a sharp ensemble consisting of a crisp shirt, tailored pants, and a stylish blazer. The anticipation was palpable as you imagined the unforgettable evening ahead.

With his hand in yours and his other hand confidently guiding the steering wheel, you began your journey to the famous restaurant you had miraculously secured a booking with, "I'm so proud of you, my love," He said, his voice filled with admiration, "It usually takes months to secure a booking here, but you managed it in just weeks."

You couldn't contain your happiness, leaning your head against his shoulder with a grin, "I know, Jae. I still can't believe we're actually going there tonight," You replied excitedly, "Johnny is going to be so jealous! He's been raving about this place forever."

Or maybe he won't be jealous at all.

"We apologise deeply, miss! We were just about to contact you to inform you of the sudden closure of our restaurant!"

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

Your heart sank upon arriving at the restaurant, met with unexpected news. A sudden kitchen malfunction had forced the establishment to close for the evening, leaving both of you frozen in disbelief. The weight of disappointment lingered heavily as you stood side by side at the restaurant's entrance, all dressed up with nowhere to go.

It felt like all your efforts had been in vain.

Feeling a surge of frustration and helplessness, you cast a glance at your boyfriend, uncertain of your next steps. His expression mirrored your own, a blend of disappointment and disbelief evident in his eyes. Silence settled between you for a moment as you both processed the unexpected turn of events.

Unfortunately, leaving was definitely not an option. Situated on the outskirts of Seoul, the restaurant's distance from the city meant that returning now would consume too much time. Besides, the unpredictability of traffic congestion could potentially result in both of you arriving well past midnight if you were to depart at this moment.

Letting out a sigh, you reached out to grasp his hand, "Gosh, I-I'm so sorry, Jae," You murmured, the words tinged with regret, "The one time I took charge of our Valentine's Day plans, this happens."

His immediate frown of disapproval at your self-blame was evident as he gently cupped your face in his hands, "Hey, none of this is your fault," He reassured, his voice soft but firm, "No one could have predicted this. It's alright; we'll find something else to do here."

Ugh, can he be any more perfect?

He pressed a reassuring kiss onto your lips before scanning the surroundings, searching for a solution. Suddenly, a glimmer of hope brightened his expression as he spotted a 24-hour convenience store around the corner and the picturesque beach still stretched out before you.

"Perhaps a romantic evening is still within reach." He suggested, his optimism infectious as he swiftly removed his blazer and draped it around your bare shoulders, ready to make the most of the sudden change of plans.

Stepping into the nearby convenience store, you were both greeted by the inviting glow of fluorescent lights. The weight of earlier disappointment seemed to fade away, replaced by a sense of warmth and comfort as you watched Jaehyun move gracefully down the aisles, effortlessly selecting your favourite foods, snacks, and drinks. Each item he chose, each thoughtful gesture, further solidified your desire to spend the rest of your life by his side.

With each passing second, the idea of being without him became unimaginable. In his presence, you found a sense of belonging and home that you knew you never wanted to live without.

Lost in the moment, overwhelmed with gratitude for the man you called yours, you couldn't resist the urge to hug him from behind. His smile greeted you as he turned to look at you over his shoulder, "Everything alright?" You nodded against him, replying softly, "Just wanted to be close to you."

The both of you were completely oblivious to the cashier rolling his eyes at the display and glancing away. However, any traces of irritation dissolved as soon as you both politely completed your payment and even extended well wishes for the remainder of his shift. Maybe, just maybe, he found the two of you a tad cute.

Emerging from the store with your arms laden with goodies, you made your way back to the beach, the cool breeze carrying the scent of saltwater and possibility. Settling down on the soft sand, your boyfriend made sure to keep you warm, tightening his blazer snugly around your frame, "Can't have you catching a cold, my love. Just tell me if you're feeling too chilly, hm?" Despite your long history together, his thoughtfulness never failed to make your heart flutter.

As the sky shifted into a tapestry of vibrant hues, you shared a playful exchange about the potential teasing from your friends regarding the unexpected turn of your date as you ate, "Ugh, Donghyuck is never going to let me hear the end of this. I was boasting to him just yesterday," You lamented with a groan, eliciting laughter from Jaehyun, "I'll give him a piece of my mind if he dares."

With the stars twinkling overhead and the gentle lull of the ocean as your backdrop, you couldn't imagine a more perfect setting for your makeshift Valentine's Day celebration.

Finishing the last of your kimbap, you leaned into his embrace, watching the moon rise over the horizon, your heart warmed as you felt him tighten his hold around you before tracing kisses down the side of your face, "I still can't believe we came all this way, dressed up and everything, just to be told the restaurant's closed. I promise next year will be better, Jae."

"It doesn't matter what we do. All I need is you by my side, my love," He whispered, nuzzling his face against the crook of your neck. You felt a rush of emotion welling in your eyes, quickly blinking it away, "Okay, okay, it's time for your birthday cake."

Giving him a quick peck on his cheek, you reached into the bag of treats you had gotten from the convenience store earlier. Pulling out a colourful cupcake adorned with sprinkles, you carefully placed a candle on top and lit it, shielding the flame from the gentle ocean breeze with your hand.

Clearing your throat, you began to sing the familiar birthday song, your voice mingling with the sound of the waves crashing nearby, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Jaehyun..."

His grin widened as he listened to your melody, his eyes shining with affection. When you reached the final verse, you leaned forward, presenting the cupcake before him, "Come on, birthday boy," You teased playfully, "Make a wish."

With a nod, he closed his eyes and pressed his hands together, his expression one of quiet contemplation. After a moment, he whispered his wish into the wind, his words barely audible over the sound of the ocean.

Curious, you leaned in closer, waiting with bated breath to hear his wish. And when he finally spoke, his words filled your heart with warmth and joy, "I wish for you to be my forever Valentine."

Tears welled up in your eyes at his words, "No fair—I was going to ask you first. You're always a step ahead."

He chuckled softly, "I suppose you'll have to get used to it for the rest of your life. Are you up for that?"

Without hesitation, you leaned in to press your lips against his, "Are you kidding? Of course, I am."

As the moonlight cast a soft glow over the two of you, he reached into his pocket and retrieved a small velvet box. Your eyes widened in surprise as he opened it, revealing a dazzling ring nestled inside.

"I've been waiting for the perfect moment to do this," Jaehyun confessed, his voice filled with sincerity, "I wanted to propose to you this year, regardless of who was in charge of our Valentine's Day plans. And considering you hinted at wanting to ask me first, I'm assuming your answer is a resounding yes."

Your heart skipped a beat as you gazed at the ring, the significance of the moment sinking in. Speechless and overcome with emotion, you nodded fervently, unable to find the words to express the overwhelming love and gratitude swelling within you.

Jaehyun slid the ring onto your finger, sealing your bond with a promise of forever. With a soft grin, he stood up from his seat, extending his hand toward you with an overdramatic bow, "Would you care to dance, my beautiful future Mrs. Jung?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with love and excitement.

Giggling softly, you placed your hand in his, feeling a surge of joy at the thought of the future ahead, "I'd love to, Mr. Jung."

As the two of you swayed clumsily along the shore, the diamond ring on your finger catching the moonlight, the rhythmic sound of the waves provided a soothing melody. Your boyfriend, now fiancé, held you close, his gaze locked with yours as he pulled you in, resting his forehead against yours.

"If you still have any doubts," He murmured softly, lips brushing against yours, "I want you to know that this has been my absolute favourite Valentine's Day and birthday celebration so far."

Your heart melted at his words, and you nodded, feeling a wave of emotion wash over you, "I believe you, Jae."

With a dimpled smile, he leaned in, his lips catching yours in a loving kiss that conveyed the depth of your shared love. As you melted into his embrace, you realised that sometimes the most memorable moments are the unplanned ones. Despite the unexpected change of plans, you were content with how the evening had unfolded.

After all, even if you had been displeased with this Valentine's Day, there would be plenty more in the future to make up for it.

He's mine, forever.

Bonus:

Glancing at the time, you both agreed it was time to head home. As you gathered your belongings and approached Jaehyun's car, you were surprised to see the cashier from the convenience store earlier emerging from the shop and walking past you both, seemingly finishing his shift.

"Hey there, need a ride home? It's getting late, and we're happy to drop you off anywhere along our way." Your fiancé offered kindly, motioning towards his car.

The young man, whose name tag was revealed as Jisung, shook his head with a smile, "Thanks, but I'll be alright. I live just around the corner. You two have a safe journey back to the city, though."

You nodded in acknowledgement, watching as he continued on his way before pausing after a few steps, turning back to face you and Jaehyun, "Oh, um... congratulations, by the way. I saw the proposal from inside the store." He mentioned, nodding towards your ring, and both of you blushed.

With a sheepish shrug, he offered a light smile, "Happy Valentine's Day, and I wish you both all the happiness in the world."

"Thank you, Jisung."

As he made his way home, the young man couldn't help but shake his head with a small smile. Alright, perhaps he did find the two of you incredibly adorable. A part of him felt a warmth within, witnessing such genuine love between you both. It left him hoping to find someone just as special for himself someday.

ASHLER HEADCANONS

(i’m giving myself a break from my fic today so this is how I compensate)

How did they realise they caught feelings?

— I imagine these two to be veeeeery slowburn for a lot of reason, as in, they get together in their senior year of High School or even maybe after in college.

— Ashlyn is pretty out of touch with her feelings, It took her a while to differentiate between romantic and platonic sentiments towards people and even then, she sucked at handling it. I see her as the type to fall for someone without even realising and dismissing her feelings as being 'oh we're really good friends!' It took a sleepover with Taylor (who has been trying -and failing- to set her brother and Ashlyn together for a while now) to realise that she had a crush on Tyler. I think the two of them would have had a long conversation about it (I honestly see Taylor as someone who's really in tune with emotions) and even then, her realising turned out to be more of a bad thing because things became awkward and Ashlyn essentially avoided any one-on-one interaction.

— Tyler on the other hand, had known about his feelings for Ashlyn for a while now but had chosen not to do anything about it, simply pushing it aside in order to prioritise his family and focusing on staying alive in the phantom realm. Besides, there was no way Ashlyn would reciprocate when all she did nowadays was act weird with him.

What was their first date?

— Their first date was at an amusement park: I firmly believe that Tyler fell first but Ashlyn would fall harder and eventually, there would be a point where she gets fed up with the lack of confrontation and decides to actually do something about the unsolved tension.

— Taylor had gotten it into Ashlyn’s head that to confess there had to be some over-the-top, extravagant declaration of love and had been restlessly prodding Ashlyn to ask her brother out because “the idiot wasn’t going to do it himself.” The plan was for the two to hang out at the theme park all day and then finally go on a Ferris wheel ride where Ashlyn would admit her feelings and if she was lucky, Tyler would reciprocate and save her from total embarrassment and if not? Well, there goes trying to eliminate the awkwardness but at least Ashlyn tried.

The catch to this plan, you may ask?

Tyler was deathly afraid of heights. Like a cat in water afraid of heights. Will freak out afraid of heights.

It was a new fear that he had contracted after he died in the phantom realm that he had never actually gotten around to telling Taylor, mainly because she was a massive thrill-seeker and enjoyed anything height related and so he didn’t want to strip that enjoyment from her, he wanted to make her happy and experiences her joys with her, trauma be damned. Still, if he had a choice he would avoid it.

That was until his totally-not-a-crush-crush walked up to him ( looking as gorgeous as ever) and batted her pretty, little lashes, asking him out to an amusement park just the two of them and who the hell was Tyler Hernandez to say no to such a goddess? (he was such a weak, weak man for her it was disgusting) .

Besides, there was more to amusement parks than rollercoaster rides, right? And Ashlyn didn't look like the type to be chasing after the adrenaline of high rides so he would simply divert her from any high rides, that wouldn't be so hard?

— Anyway, after hours of Hell and successfully keeping Ashlyn away from every rollercoaster waiting line (“pfft, I’ve went on these rides way too many times, they’re soooo boring trust me!”) Tyler found himself enjoying the day, he got to sneak glances at Ashlyn when he thought she wasn't looking and got to spend time with his crush and maybe, just maybe he could be content with small moments like this for the rest of his life, his crush obviously wasn’t planning on fading anytime soon but now, he could admire from afar, even if she did kick his ass at shooting games.

— Unfortunately, all luck comes to end eventually she practically dragged him to the ferris wheel. He tried to get out of it by saying “it’s boring, only grannies go on those!” But for some reason she was entirely fixated on that ride and that one alone.

— A normal person, at this stage would admit to hating tall rides and save their dignity and sanity but Tyler Hernandez had a date and a reputation to maintain, so if Ashlyn Banner wanted to go on a ferris wheel, he was going on a ferris wheel.

— And that confidence lasted around two seconds because as soon as they got into the air, Tyler became eerily silent, something that confused Ashlyn because normally the boy wouldn’t shut up. She glanced down and noticed that he seemed to be digging his nails into the seat so hard Ashlyn was sure it would leave marks. There was something wrong with him, it was clear as daylight but everytime Ashlyn tried to bring it up Tyler would shrug it off dismissively and make some snarky quips to reassure her (spoiler alert: it didn’t work).

— Eventually they reach the very top, the “pinnacle of romance” (as Taylor liked to put it), this was Ashlyn’s shot; she would clear the air and get rid of the stupid bug that annoyed her every time Tyler was in her vicinity. And so, she starts talking incredibly fast in 2x speed, trying earnestly as all her pent up feelings and frustrations to the boy come spilling out infront of him.

— Unfortunately, Tyler was too busy counting sheep in his head to try and catch any of what Ashlyn was saying, never mind her incredibly fast speed. Though he did catch the last part of "-and now I think I might be in love with you" and suddenly, the air was cut off from his lungs. He paled at the realisation -and also partially because he was trying to not puke-: Ashlyn Banner, that stupid idiot, liked him back, in more than a friend way!

— For a while, the two of them just stared, Ashlyn looked like a deer caught in headlights and Tyler really wished Taylor or Aiden were here to pinch him. And then- well, he ended up wretching on the ferris wheel, the rest of the ride ended up being Tyler alternating between freaking out and becoming nauseous and Ashlyn panicking while trying to help and regretting her previous life choices.

— Afterwards, Ashlyn was pretty sure that vomiting was a clear indication of an unreciprocated crush so she honestly planned on running away and getting her parents to pick her up or something. Her plans were paused when Tyler stopped her by the wrist and pulled her towards his chest, Ashlyn could feel his hands shaking around her.

— "You're so stupid, I'm so stupid and- I think I might be in love with you too."

— And that was that.

Do they indulge in PDA?

— short answer: No.

— Both of them are the type to cringe and make fun of people who engage in excessive PDA so it’s no surprise that they’re pretty averse to it themselves. The most you’ll see these two do in public is touch shoulders or sit next to each other (or maybe if you’re lucky, you get to watch Ashlyn dragging Tyler by the arms away from a fight.)

— I think it would take at least 3 weeks for them to kiss after dating and Ashlyn would be the one to initiate.

— They’d be bickering one day and Ashlyn would just shut him up spontaneously by tugging his shirt forward and tiptoeing up for a kiss. Tyler would be surprised at first, his eyes wide open and looking down in surprise but eventually he just melts and it takes a minute for them to part.

— “Shut.” kiss “The.” kiss “Fuck.” kids “up.” would be a thing Ashlyn does everytime he pipes up a little bit too much. Whether it be over something stupid like a comic they’re both reading or something else, it would probably lead into a make out session afterwards.

— Tyler’s the type to walk up to her sometimes, play with her bangs and then lift it up for a little *smooch.* It’s mostly because he enjoys the way she goes red like a tomato every time. One time he did it in public after a baseball match or something and Ashlyn froze, she could not speak for an hour and it seemed like her face and ears were permanently coloured red. Aiden had found it funny and took a picture of it which is actually saved as her profile picture now.

— All of their intimacy is in private though, most of the time people would be surprised to find out they’re dating. The popular jock and the loner who never talks? But don’t they ever only argue?

Dates?

— I personally think their dates would mostly be stay-at-home dates.

— Ashlyn hates going out and Tyler doesn’t mind, so it works.

— Examples would be cooking dates, movie nights (that would inevitably get crashed by the others), little dinners together etc.

— They strike me to have very casual intimacy, so like grocery shopping together would also be considered a date for them.

— The mundane is openly enjoyed and celebrated!

Other random headcanons I have:

— Tyler has gradually become Ashlyn’s go-to hair stylist, especially for more formal events like ballet recitals. She was honestly shocked the first time he did her bangs and now feels entitled to getting it down whenever she pleases (compensation for all his moaning). Tyler grumbles about it and pretends to hate it but swatts his hand away every time Ashlyn tries to take over, he secretly really likes working with her hair because he’s never practiced on such long hair and so gets to experiment with more styles.

The bartenders concerned voice is drowned out by the deafening music around you. You take yet another sip of the strong whiskey and stumble back into the swarm of people.

You can’t even distinguish whose hands are on you. You sway side to side, accidentally bumping into random people. You’re doing your best to distract yourself, take your mind off of him.

Being broken up with hours prior, your heart keeps constricting with emotion, and you turned to drinking the pain away. You know you should stop, you know you should go home, but you choose to ignore it.

One song after the other, you keep dancing until your legs give out. Feeling the need for air, you push past the crowd towards the exit.

Taking a big gulp of the chilly air sobers you up just a bit. You then check your phone, which has been off for hours, and see countless notifications.

Yunho

Your lovely, sweetheart roommate. He’s left messages, along with calls and voicemails asking if you’re ok. It is almost 2am after all. You decide to call him, to check in, and also needing a ride home. After two rings, he picks up.

“Y/n? Are you ok? Why didn’t you pick up your phone? It’s been hours!! Are you hurt? Are you-” Yunho rambles on.

You can’t help but to chuckle at his worried tone. “Yunho, I’m fine. I’m sorry I didn’t answer, I may have been drinking a bit,” you say with a giggle, your words being slurred, “ugh I’m cold.” You can hear Yunho letting out a long sigh. He must not be thrilled to have to pick you up on yet another drunk night.

“Alright, hold tight. I’ll be there in 15,” You can hear the jingling of his car keys, “don’t go anywhere, got it?”

As he hangs up, the chill comes back. You feel hazy, and unwanted thoughts keep coming back. Surely you’d forget about him eventually, but it felt unbearable in the moment. Desperate for a distraction, you start pacing back and forth on the empty sidewalk, counting your footsteps. After a few minutes of looking like a lunatic, you see headlights approaching.

Yunho jumps out of the car to open the door for you. He looks good, in his plain white t-shirt and black jeans, and his hair fluffy. You can’t help but admire his broad shoulders and cinched in waist underneath that extra fabric. You finally start to get in the car after a few more seconds.

He can sense that there’s something bothering you, but he chooses not to address it. You appreciate the comfortable silence, and lie back to rest your body. To no one’s surprise, you end up falling asleep. As he finishes parking, you stir awake, and start heading upstairs to your shared apartment.

A couple times you trip up the stairs, Yunho having to right you. Both the exhaustion and alcohol in your system do not help. Finally, after a tiring couple of minutes, you’re at your door. While Yunho is fumbling with the key, you space out, staring straight at the wall.

As you walk in, the comfort of your space is so incredibly overwhelming. Yunho heads to the kitchen to get you a water bottle. As you gulp it down, you feel so conflicted. The break up was a long time coming, but it’s also making you feel so empty. Yunho notices you slumping down.

“Hey, do you wanna go to sleep now? You need a lot of rest,” he gets up, trying to pull you up, “come on sleepyhead.” You feel panic at having to leave him. You cling to his sleeve in distress and hang your head.

“Yunho…” you trail off uncertainly. His smile reassures you to keep going. “Would it be ok if I slept with you tonight?” If he was surprised, he didn’t show it.

“Of course you can, that’s totally alright.” His bright smile warmed your insides. He leads you to his room, and you immediately relax. Your head and body feel so heavy, you are eager to finally relax. You and him have never been the touchy type of friends ever, so laying next to him felt strange but somehow just right. Even though it’s so comfortable, you can’t help but keep tossing around for a bit.

“Can’t sleep?” Yunho whispers in a groggy voice. Feeling a shameful thought enter your mind, you burrow your face under the covers. You can think of a method that could help you sleep but…you couldn’t possibly ask it of Yunho. He frowns at you, “What’s wrong? You can tell me.”

Oh sweet, sweet Yunho. If only he knew what was going through my brain.

“I’m sorry, I can’t tell you. It’s too embarrassing ugh.” You wish a hole would swallow you up right about now. You feel a soft touch to your chin, guiding you to look into Yunho’s sparkling eyes. God, he’s so beautiful. He’s looking at you with such a loving look that it feels too much. It’s doing things to your heart, and that is too dangerous.

You wiggle out of his touch, burying your head into his chest out of embarrassment. You start to mumble incoherently, “I wanna…” Yunho chuckles softly. “I can’t hear you. Will you look up at me and say it?” You shake your head like a petulant child. “Y/n, look at me.” His tone shocks you. It was almost dominant. The hair on your arms raise as you shakily look at him.

He looks at you intensely, “Now what was it that you wanted?” You take a deep breath, and gain courage.

“I was wondering if I could cockwarm you.”

Silence fills the room, and you realize you’ve fucked it up. No more bestie Yunho, he hates you. He’s going to kick you out of his bed and never talk to you again. He’s going to-

“Ok.”

Your jaw drops wide open. You stare at him like a dumb fish. The wires of your brain may have short circuited. He starts laughing and that brings you back to life. “I’m serious, Y/n. I don’t mind, it’ll help you sleep. Plus it would feel nice too…” The latter was said with him turned away. Fighting a blush, you let out a tiny “thank you.”

“Alright, lift your hips up for me.” He takes off your flimsy shorts and slides your panties aside. He looks at you once more, looking slightly worried. “You’re 100% sure? You nod with certainty, “Yes, I’m definitely sure.” His face relaxes at that.

He turns you to your side, and lines up with your entrance. He enters little by little, and you let out a hiss at the burn. Yunho makes sure you’re ok to continue, and finally is snug inside you. The comfort is immediate. Your brain quiets down, and your eyes can’t help but flutter shut. Before you know it, you’re fast asleep in Yunho’s arms.

Yunho stirs awake at dawn, slivers of dusty pink light filtering through the blinds. His face turns a bright shade of pink when he realized what’s happening. He looks down at your two connected bodies, and your slow moving hips. The movement drives Yunho crazy, and he almost lets out a squeak when he sees your face. Your head is thrown back, and drool is coming out the side of your mouth. As you work yourself on his cock, you let out tiny little whimpers.

A/n: i've never ridden a motorcycle before nor been to japan but ken is hot and i love him. this is also my first x reader fic.

You looked at yourself in the mirror one last time as the hands of the watch approached the time of your date.

Landing a date with Kenji Sato seemed like something that would only happen in a dream but here you were with less than 5 minutes to when he said he’d pick you up.

It’s ok, you thought, you’re only going on a date with a world-famous baseball star. No pressure. But if the press finds you-

You flattened the creases on your outfit and went to open the door.

There he was, in all his rich, hot glory: Ken Sato. He was wearing a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up paired with black motorcycle pants. His hair was styled normally, with one side pushed back and the other falling in front of his face.

He looked…oh wow.

“Hey,” He said with a soft smile.

“Hey,” you responded.

“You look,” he cleared his throat, “you look pretty good.”

“Thanks,” you blushed. “I think you look pretty good too.”

“Shall we leave?” He offered his arm out for you to link yours through. You take his hand and step out of your apartment, turning back to lock the door.

When you caught sight of his motorcycle, you didn’t know whether to be excited or to faint.

The vehicle was fierce, with 2 large wheels and a broad build. There was no doubt that this was an expensive bike, and that it would act like it.

Once you got on behind Kenji, you could feel the purr of the engine which quelled most of your fears. The heat of your date’s body against yours silenced the rest.

“You ready?” You could hear the smirk in his voice.

You hummed in affirmation, squeezing him a little tighter.

Kenji was kind enough to start slow, but quickly picked up speed as you approached the main road. The wind whipped your hair against your face beneath your helmet.

Although you had a mini heart attack every time he took a sharp turn-and you were sure he was taking them on purpose-you had to admit you were enjoying yourself. The thrill, the speed, the wind. It was new and it was incredible.

As you sped through the streets of Tokyo, the bright signs and lights blurred together to form a colorful vortex that only you and Ken were part of.

When you pulled into Inokashira Park, a magnificent sight greeted you.

“Wow, this is…this is beautiful Ken,” you marveled at the park. The cherry blossom trees were in full bloom and lit up by the lights around them. You turned to him and beamed. “I love it.”

He grinned back. “You haven’t seen the best part.”

He took your hand and led you to the large lake.

On the surface were numerous white swan boats. They were all big enough to seat only two people, making their purpose obvious.

You felt your face flush at the thought of being pressed up against Ken for the entirety of the ride. And he still hadn’t let go of your hand. Ok. Wow.

You both got into one of the boats and sat with your hands intertwined as it started slowly drifting through the water.

You took in his angular features while he gazed at the clear water. His bright eyes, sharp cheekbones, full lips…

He looked back at you and his eyes softened.

You leaned in close and gathered up the courage to press your lips to his.

He made a surprised noise but kissed back.

And kissing Ken Sato is just as thrilling as riding his motorcycle.

he's become an expert, because how else would he impress his angelfish?

asks you what rides you like and sets out the perfect plan for you to experience everything

basically you just need to tell him what you feel like doing next and he'll instantly suggest the best plan

fast pass? fast pass.

he's rich, he's definitely going to buy all the available passes only to improve your experience

time is far more valuable than money! the less time spent lining up for rides and azul having to come up with engaging conversations, the better

doesn't really understand why the mouse ears are so prominent in the park, but he wants to match with you and take nice couple pics hehehe

also apparently that's a sorcerer's hat?? perfect! he's a diligent student of magic and follower of the sea witch!

he has great night vision (deep sea octopus), so he is less affected by rides like haunted mansion and pirates of the caribbean

speaking of the latter, he's incredibly grateful for the darkness of the room, because the way he blushed when you held on to him when the boat fell from a waterfall shook all three of his hearts

fascinated by stitch encounter and considers making a mascot for mostro lounge using the same tech

also definitely gets the best seats for the fireworks/parades so his angelfish won't have their vision blocked

overall great experience, the capitalist thrives in capitalism, and he gets to experience all the joy and wonder of the theme park

The sound of the waterfall only seemed to grow louder and louder, yet there was not a single one in sight. Unless...

"Angelfish," Azul whispered, trying not to disturb the other guests. "Hold on tight, I think the ride will drop off from a waterfall."

You barely had time to react to his words as you felt the pull of gravity on you. By instinct, you reached out to hold onto him for dear life, letting out a shriek of surprise as you crashed onto the water below.

Thankfully, the fall was over in seconds. Azul coughed and shakily whispered, "A-ahem, are you alright Angelfish?" he murmured, though with your ear right next to his chest, it seemed he wasn't really alright himself.

Jade doesn't really plan as much as azul, but he does come pretty prepared

briefly learns about what rides and restaurants there are and considers your taste all the while

you brought a cute but small bag that couldn't hold a lot of stuff? no worries! your boyfriend is used to hiking with minimal packing

he can help you carry all your essentials and not have it affect him at all!

ok so apparently moray eels eat flounder fish? so I believe this silly eel would find great pleasure in wearing this headband (even better if you're wearing the ariel headband to match)

he's definitely more into the thrilling rides, but he's very happy to sit along for whatever ride you'd like

he's really really good at the buzz lightyear astro blaster, but his favourite is definitely haunted mansion for the chilling atmosphere and the way you clung onto him while convincing yourself everything was fine

whispered things in your ear to calm you, but he definitely tried to spook you a few times bc of how cute you were

your man is a foodie ok, the way his eyes sparkle when he stares at some street food other guests are holding is telling

he's absolutely interested in all of the disneyland food though, so apple caramel churros from le fou's shop, popsicle sticks from food stands, baymax curry, etc.

wdym food's expensive? he's also rich from working with azul and his family background

also super attentive to you, oh you'll need to take off your headband for this ride? gently plucks it from your head and places it in his bag before you can even do it yourself

and oh dear, your hair is a bit messed up after space mountain, let me just brush your hair and smooth it out for you

gets ugly plushie keychains for azul and floyd as a joke saying "i think it quite resembles you, no?"

tall boi sees the parades really clearly and he lifts you up to eye level so you can enjoy the same view as him

and dw about the disappointment of other guests behind you because one eerie smile from your eel is enough for them to know your boyfriend is not to be messed with

overall a very food oriented visit, and plenty of moments where this teasing eel tries to make you flustered

"Oh, it seems we must take our headbands off for this ride as well," Jade mused as he observed the guests in front. In a quick, but gentle motion, he took off your headband and smoothed out your hair.

At your flustered expression, he merely chuckled as he reached up to take off his own, carefully placing both into his sturdy backpack.

"Come, my pearl," he said as he reached out a hand to you. "Should you be afraid any moment, feel free to hold onto me," he teased, his eyebrows furrowed as his eyes glinted in amusement.

Floyd is very much going with the flow and sees where you/ his energy wants to take him

did no research at all because his Shrimpy can be his tour guide hehe~

also brought minimal stuff, but he definitely takes a moment to show off his new shoes that he bought recently to go on the date

given his mood swings, it's not a great idea to line up for 30 mins plus, particularly if there's minimal air-conditioning

so definitely fast pass where available, water bottles and mini electric fans

also consider downloading some 2-player mini games on your phone to kill time

he finds the "rubber duckies so cute and squishy! just like Shrimpy!" and chip and dale in sunglasses just gives off a memeish chill vibe

once he's tried one thrilling ride, he basically demands to ride all of the thrilling ones

runs off to the next one and pulling your hand to catch up because he memorized the map smh

absolute menace when it comes to teacup rides

like you are not walking straight after that intense spinning all the better because he gets to hold you and support you

he will be a menace again and push you in front during the baymax cool down parade so you'll get wet

but you can't stay mad at him for too long when he's laughing so innocently

okay maybe slap him on the shoulder a bit

absolutely gets the electric fans with the water sprays, and attacks you with sprays of water

laughs at you whenever you get scared in haunted mansion, but also "don't worry" because he likes protecting his Shrimpy

funny selfies from weird angles or everything's just a blur

also it's very convenient to have a big scary eel glare at the other guests to convince them to line up another time :)

in conclusion this menace of an eel will without a doubt have a blast stringing you along to his shenanigans, and you find yourself laughing with him all the way

"Ahahaha! That was sooo fun~" Floyd exclaimed as he got out of the teacup. The world continued to spin though the ride had long come to an end. You felt Floyd reach out and help you out of the ride, and you leaned into his touch for help as if you were drunk.

"Hahaha, Shrimpy's all dizzy!" he giggled. "You wanna go again?" As soon as the words registered in your mind, you turned to look in his general direction to glare at him, but maybe your direction was off or you just didn't look intimidating enough, because he just laughed even harder.

"Okayy, okayy, let's do another ride," he said as he began leading you to the exit. "Your choice this time then, where d'ya wanna go Shrimpy?"
