I had another full day of working on the Web of History text. I was a bit chilly in my office, as it is only 22 degrees outside, and that got me thinking about snow. I'm sad that we don't get a lot of snow here but, based on historic photos in our collection, they used to.

I love this image of a man bundled in furs in his open three-wheel vehicle. The text on the back tells of how the photographer took this picture of Dr. Uriah Beck in his 1901 Knox 3-wheeler during a snow storm. According to the photographer, the dentist paid $695 for the air cooled vehicle.

Very much holding onto the hope that one day my seizures will be under control and I'll be allowed to drive so I can get my Class M license so I can get a trike. A nice sleek black one with a decent storage compartment that I can ride up and down the coast when I visit family out of state.
