PT SOLID GOLD BALI – Pemerintah berupaya memfasilitasi vaksinasi Covid-19 bagi penyandang disabilitas. Untuk saat ini, fokusnya di enam provinsi yakni Banten, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, dan Bali.

Staf Khusus Presiden Angkie Yudistia bilang, penting memberikan akses vaksinasi Covid-19 kepada penyandang disabilitas lantaran termasuk kelompok rentan. Terlebih berdasarkan berbagai sumber, jumlah penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia mencapai 38 juta jiwa, yang didominasi kelompok usia produktif.

Angkie yang juga penyandang disabilitas, sekaligus pendiri Thisable Enterprise, mengatakan vaksinasi begitu mendesak kepada penyandang disabilitas. Lantaran bila kelompok disabilitas terpapar Covid-19 akan lebih kesusahan saat melakukan isolasi mandiri. Sebab dengan keterbatasan, mereka akan sulit menjalani pengobatan dan dibutuhkan lebih banyak orang untuk merawatnya.

“Tantangan kita adalah apakah pelaksanaan vaksinasi akan menumpuk, apakah bisa menjaga jarak atau tidak. Bagi penyandang disabilitas yang mandiri maka bisa menjaga jarak, tapi ragam disabilitas itu banyak, jadi belum tentu mereka memahami lingkungan yang baru (lokasi vaksinasi),” kata Angkie, Senin (23/8).

Sehingga saat melakukan vaksinasi, biasanya penyandang disabilitas membutuhkan pendampingan. Angkie merinci, aturan jumlah pendamping untuk kelompok ini. Satu orang pendamping untuk penyandang disabilitas fisik ataupun sensorik.

Sementara itu, dibutuhkan tiga orang pendamping untuk penyandang disabilitas mental maupun intelektual. Lalu, empat orang pendamping untuk penyandang disabilitas ganda maupun multi.

“Jadi jangan ditanya, kenapa yang divaksin satu orang tapi yang datang ramai? Untuk penyandang disabilitas mental atau intelektual ketika bertemu orang baru atau melihat suntik itu akan tantrum. Jadi itu butuh ditenangkan dan didukung. Semoga nakesnya juga sabar dan mendukungnya,” jelas dia.

Angkie menambahkan, penyandang disabilitas bisa mendapatkan vaksinasi Covid-19 dengan syarat selama kondisi tubuh baik. Misalnya, tekanan darah normal maupun tidak komorbid. Namun, bagi yang memiliki epilepsi tidak bisa divaksin. PT SOLID GOLD.
