  I trust 2018 has been good to you.

  As I close out this year, I reflect on project #WhoAreYouAgain which is made up of three mini-projects “Remix 4 Goldin” EP, “40 Ways To Tame Musicians” Picture-Book and “Who Are You, Again?” Book and Album. Launching these three projects over the last three years has been a lot of hard working fun and I am very proud of the impact made.

19 February 2016 released my 2nd single @davidgreshamrecords #ThisIsMyFire 🔥 I loved creating this record with @ziggyadolph composed by @sarahdecourcydc @simontellier 🙌🏼 I sang every note (completely non-manufactured) and then arranged this acoustic version which we made into a music video @exposureza which hit @sabc3 channels in June after its launch. It was a record that made pretty much every radio station across the nation and is the song that broke my career into South Africa. It was ALL teamwork and I’m immensely grateful to everyone part of its 360degrees-success. Must say it was kinda surreal seeing myself on TV at the airport haha! When you’ve worked so long at something to break through and you finally see it in big lights, it numbs you. I’ve been fighting to be heard and seen my whole career, this was a massive wall I climbed and conquered. It was and still is my moment. So if you need a song to help you make a dream come to life, let it be this one. The grass can be greener on the other side if you're willing to garden it. Create a platform, plant the seeds, water, nourish, grow & maintain. I knew it would be one of my biggest career risks uprooting my life to move back to my home country when I'd had zero career there; no one knew who I was, let alone where I'd been all this time. It was a HUGE step & it all fell into place because I worked day & night at it. I didn't have a family fund to create a record or any record label advances - I worked 24/7 & put all my earnings into creating an album to shop to labels back home. From Dec 2012-May 2013 I put my all into creating a world back in South Africa. I knew it was time to try & I knew it would not be easy. But I was fearless & passionate that this could be something worthwhile. The main reason behind this is my songwriting; inevitably it's my driving force. Of course I love performance but songwriting is everything 🙌🏼 Within 3 years of moving back to South Africa I performed nationally for @barnyardtheatres @thegrandwhite @tsogosun @suncityresortsa including corporates for my amazing agents @smashingpromo @fluid_media 💃🏼 During this time I produced an all-female theatre extravaganza with an aerial show #GoldinDivas which ran for 4 months in Pretoria. I released my 2nd album with a published book titled #WhoAreYouAgain launched at @skoobstob & the biggie was signing to a label & releasing songs #MyFire #ReallyDoesntMatter which are played nationwide on radio with music video aired on @sabc3 ❤️By December 2015 I was named 2nd top emerging artist & by 2016 #ThisIsMyFire was the 2nd most played song @hot919fm 🔥⚡️💥Not stopping here September 2016 toured Cape Town showcasing a new album of songs including my current ones. It was amazing to receive such great support at my concert @rockwelldinnertheatre plus @thepianobarct @caferoux1 @houtbaymarket #SoulCafe 🙏🏼 There are gazillions of talented & hearty people I worked with/for who made all of this possible. 2018 WOW! Talk about THE grind. Starting the year with a new contract performing in China whilst dropping a release of “Remix 4 Goldin” EP featuring Lenny DTOX (Lenny Dtox), Jolo (Johan Loubser), Zick-Zack (Zick Zack Moshidi Isaac) and Apollo 51 (Leon van Tonder). There were days of little sleep and days I thought I couldn’t do it but I pushed through all the negativity to overcome those obstacles. This lead to a contract renewal for another 6 months at the 5* Grand Hyatt in Changsha for Casa Grande with a new band. My favourite moment was seeing 12 songs hit radio by the close of this year (it’s taken 3 years to do this)🤸🏼‍♀️🙌🏼❤️ Plus the bonus is I’m so blessed my career takes me to new places where I bond with new people...I love you my new fam!
