Maybe Solas' negative reaction to Grey Wardens is motivated by regret, too, at least partially.

He doesn't simply detest the blight as a twisted creation, he's terrified of the blight, we know that much, and he's responsible for the blight. A Warden isn't just a creature that is ultimately abhorrent for Solas because of the taint in their blood, or because of the corruption of their order, or because of their shady recruitment tactic and use of blood magic— it's also a living creature changed and twisted in order to fight what is ultimately Solas' battle (at least in his mind) against his people's bonded dragons and against the angered Titans' dreams he (and Mythal, in equal measure) awakened.

Countless Wardens changed and either dead or doomed to die or change irreversibly, fighting what you have ultimately unleashed. And you hate them because they're a living reminder of your failure.
