BASICALLY like I did enjoy the first few episodes and then the "piggy" and "pig" stuff started and I know that irl ice skating is a very fatphobic profession, but it still feels really gross to have it be a big part of a canon relationship AND YEAH HE'S JUST ICE SKATING PRE-PARASITE SHINICHI

It would have been nice for them to address fatphobia in that profession instead of making it into a ‘cutesy’ character trait/quirk.

Hell, it would have been nice to see that behavior shut down and pointed out is a negative thing, but once again skinny fans are all that ever matter

all of my friends love it and keep telling me to finish watching it, but I just can’t get into it ‘cause of the fatphobic stuff and 'cause honestly the two main character’s are super boring (also the one character I do like is just a giant meme to the fandom)

It’s one of those animes that like, when you first hear about it it sounds good and all that but then you peel back the layers and get into the gross parts that make you want nothing to do with it (which is how I feel about it)

and from what I’ve seen the main characters do seem really boring, hell the main dude looks like Shinichi from Parasyte (from the early episodes and such anyways) 

It had ONE character design I liked but that in itself is not enough to make me care about it.
