Dressed in blue, glowing skin, irresistible charm and impeccable vocals, the chart-bursting star set the stage blaze delivering an unforgettable fan meet cum mini concert that drew thousands of passionate fans from Malaysia and across far South East Asia. From Jakarta to Bangkok, Manila to Singapore, dedicated supporters flew in from all corners of the region to witness the star's first solo BE YOUR D’ fan meet concert in Malaysia, creating an atmosphere of pure crazed euphoria. With earlier fan-meet stop-overs in Manila and Bangkok, Bang Ye-dam shared that Malaysia was “the best audience” he had emotionally connected with.

Greeted by unified screams that bounced off the packed auditorium walls with repeated encores for more, Ye-dam delivered one hit after another, singing his originals as well as popular covers, interacting with the media and fans like a true seasoned professional despite his young years. The star was at ease and in good vibes spirits stepping off-stage a couple of times to mingle with his fans, pose for selfies, shake hands without breaking a note mid-song and taking the energy of his screaming fans to stage, all in the same stride. Fans simply couldn’t have enough of him!

The evening kicked off with a high-octane solo performance of some of Ye-dam’s biggest hits and ballads like 'Miss You,' 'Only You,' 'Hate That I Love You,’ which also included the star’s most popular Come to Me' (from the debut EP Only One’/2023) which turned into an anthem for the entire evening, sending the crowd into a frenzy from the very first note. The young star showcased his vocal prowess and undeniable stage presence, captivating the audience with a mix of energetic dance tracks, heartfelt ballads and fan-centric on-stage interactive games that resonated deeply with his audiences.

One of the highlights of the fan meet was a special Media Q&A session which also included on-stage autograph interactions for lucky VIP fans who had the chance to meet Ye-dam personally. The star’s candid and playful interactions combined with his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support, left the audience cheering and emotional in equal measure. Ye-dam shared he never imagined his life doing anything else but “as a singer doing what I love most - music. I like to capture and deliver emotions to my fans the same way I feel them whilst writing or singing my songs. My music is all about good vibes. I’m grateful that I have good mentors around me who also ensure my well-being as an artist,” Ye-dam shared candidly during the Q&A.

As a special surprise, Bang Ye-dam performed an impromptu Malay track exclusive for his Kuala Lumpur fans, showcasing his continued evolution as an artist. The star himself also received a surprise onstage while being presented with a satin sky blue Baju Melayu,’ as a token to remember that Malaysia loves the Kpop star. The crowd erupted in applause with many fans expressing their excitement on social media, making #BangYeDam trend across multiple platforms.

The event reached its emotional peak during the encore, where Ye-dam expressed his heartfelt thanks to the fans from Malaysia and those who travelled far and wide to attend. He shared his deep appreciation for their loyalty and promised to return to Southeast Asia soon, to even louder encores and applause.

The fan meet concert was not just a musical experience but a testament to the powerful bond between Bang Ye-dam and his fans resulting in star encores over three times, as Ye-dam finally bowed out withOnly One.’ The event concluded with every single audience member getting onstage to share a personal `hi-five’ with the star, followed by fan photo sessions and leaving everyone with memories that will last a lifetime.

Born May 7, 2002 in South Korea, at just 22-years-old, Bang Ye-Dam has already made a significant impact in the K-Pop world. He first captured global attention in 2012 as a contestant on the Korean audition program called “K-pop Star.” His journey continued as a celebrated K-pop star performer with captivating performances and soulful songs winning countless hearts in South Korea and globally. Now, as a solo artist, Ye-Dam’s star shines even brighter.

Focusing on producing and vitalising his solo career since 2022 has only heightened the anticipation for Bang Ye-dam’s new ventures. With his recent stops in Bangkok and Manila, fans in Malaysia can expect a very personal, engaging, and super special fan interaction supported by a wholesome performance of well-known hit songs.
