On this spooky Floofty Friday the thirteenth of @flooftober... Wait, Friday the 13th was almost two weeks ago. I remember. I had to buy a new router because the old one got struck by lightning.

Well, it's the thirteenth story, anyway. Day 26, the prompts are "siren" and "lava" and I got Floofty as the random character for Floofty to interact with. Floofty + Floofty + siren was such an interesting combination that I made the story double length, and edited it more heavily to make it come across how I wanted. Also used the lava prompt because I'll take any excuse to put lava in something.

Floofty was starting to consider using one of the Bugsnax to scoop samples from the lava, and they knew the heat was getting to them. The Snax were fluttering above them, saying "Cheepoof" over and over. That was what they were called. Yes. They didn't seem bothered by the heat, and they were already on fire, so they might hold up better than the equipment they'd brought with them.

Actually, maybe they should be keeping away from the lava and the spicy Snax right now. Grumpuses had developed a fascinating adaptation against serious burns, which was absent even in their closest extant relatives, but they felt it might work against them at the moment. Even if it was the flammable oils on their skin burning and not their skin or fur, being on fire would still heat them up, and if they got much hotter, they were in danger of passing out before they could extinguish themself. And that would be such a pointless way to die.

Wouldn't it? It probably would be.

"Blast this heat," they muttered, trying to squeeze some of the sweat out of their fur. Their long fur was an excellent protection from the sun, but in this stifling cave, it was more of a liability.

"Yes, it can be quite vexing," said Floofty, next to them.

Floofty jumped back, nearly slipped, and pointed at their doppelganger. "Where in the name of science did you come from?" They reached out to touch them, but the other them stepped back.

Floofty's vision swam, and they saw that this version of them had undergone complete Snakification. Their shape and voice were still recognisably Floofty, and they seemed to be wearing Floofty's bow tie and goggles, but otherwise, they were a mishmash of Noodler, Cheepoof, Paletoss, and maybe some Cocomite.

The other Floofty adopted a thoughtful posture that Floofty knew well. "Do you recall when you cut off your leg? You wondered where the Snakmatter went. Now, you have your answer." They indicated themself.

Floofty looked down at their peg leg, then at their doppelganger. "Ah. Clearly the heat has made me delirious. Farewell, imaginary duplicate." They turned to leave the cave and get back to the cooler night air.

"Choosing the path of cowardice?" said the Snakified Floofty.

Floofty froze. "What?"

"You encounter a completely unknown phenomenon, with great implications for your work, and yet you choose to walk away," continued the other Floofty. They started pacing, back and forth over the rock and into the lava. "I have discovered the extent of the Bugsnax's regenerative capacities, the exact mechanism by which these capacities function, the source of their alluring taste, and countless other revelations. Does that not pique your interest?"

Floofty paused. It really was too hot to think straight. But if this was real, could they really afford to lose this opportunity? They'd learned a lot so far, but it was only a tiny fraction of what there was to understand about Bugsnax.

The Snakified Floofty backed away, further into the lava. "Once you've learned all I have, nobody will call you dangerous or unstable again. When you speak, others will listen."

As they spoke, Floofty began slowly to step forward.

"You will usher in the technology to reverses or prevent innumerable tragedies," continued the other Floofty. "Scientific journals will fight for the chance to publish what you know, and Snorpington will believe in your work again."

There was a hissing and crackling, and the smell of burning wood. Floofty flinched, and looked down to see that they'd stepped into the lava with their peg leg. Not with their right leg, which would have spread the fire to the rest of their body in an instant, but their left, which was currently made of somewhat less flammable wood. They stamped the remaining fire out, before stumbling out of the cave at an awkward run.

They made it to the water's edge and sat down hard on the sugary sands, letting the waves cool them down.

They absolutely could not go back in there to check if what they'd seen was real. Not until they'd got some sleep, and checked the damages on their peg leg, and collated the latest telemetry from the Snaktivator, and gathered enough sauce to last them through the rest of their Bugsnax fast, and… There was so much to do, and they couldn't let themself get distracted. They would have all the things they'd been promised by their hallucination, or the unrecorded Snakmatter phenomenon, or whatever it was, and if they had to, they'd achieve it all on their own. They couldn't wait around for anybody else to give it to them. Not even themself.

Raising Kids with them - Overwatch Heroes

She wouldn't be into having kids at first - thinking that something so small would make her weak.

It does - but she refuses to admit it.

You both decided adoption was probably the best option - adopting a sweet baby girl.

I think Dez would be all about teaching her kids to fight.

Even before they've learnt to walk.

"C'mon kiddo! I was fighting at your age!"

Sometimes you would find her playing with your baby - making it look as if they were both boxing.

It was quite a funny sight.

You'll come home from work and find them watching wrestling or something.

Probably swears around your kid.

Your babies first word is probably 'cunt' or 'fuck'

You're usually the one to take your daughter to school, but on the off chance Dez does - the rest of the parents are scared of her.

The kids adore her though.

She'll struggle doing stuff like diaper changes at first - as anyone would

As your daughter gets older - she grows into a mini version of Dez.

She wont call her 'mom' - instead calling her something silly like 'cunt' or 'fuckwit'

Dez gets a real kick out of it - and does the same.

Dez would be a little disappointed if your kid didn't want to fight, though she'd still be supportive - even if she didn't really understand.

Cries on your daughters wedding day - but tries to hide it.

"I'm not crying cunt, you're crying"

Mako Rutledge (Roadhog)

I think Mako would be really good with kids-

Big brooding dad & cute tiny daughter combo type vibe

Maybe she's really talkative, and he just listens.

He'd let her put clips in his hair and paint his nails.

It's giving Gru when his girls are doing ballet.

He's always the one to hold the kids when needed - since he barely has any issue.

His hands are just so big.

Even if you had like - 4 kids he would have no trouble carrying them all.

You were grateful that you could have some time alone sometimes, as Mako is a very competent father.

Does not want kids.

Only agreed because you would make a face at her whenever you saw a baby.

Does she think she knows more than the QUALIFIED children's doctors? Absolutely she does.

MIGHT agree to taking your kid to see Angela - if you're not too keen on her doing science on your kid.

She's fine with your kid just calling her by her name.

This was weird on the first day of school - most parents thinking your kids other parent wasn't in the picture.

She was fine with that idea - meaning that you 'left' your old partner for her. Narcissist.

You'd prefer for them to be with you rather than with Moira, though.

Your kids are NOSY, so you have to bend the truth a little bit.

Just to make sure they don't view their mom as the ruthless geneticist that she ACTUALLY is.

BIG on consistent check-ups.

Sometimes she'll do them herself, but she prefers the professionals.

She doesn't specialise in child care, but she does make sure that your child is going to the best doctor in the field.

Definitely enjoys shopping for baby clothes.

Works with baby on lap - letting the little guy play with her fingers.

Aeroplane noises while getting the baby to eat.

does NOT let the kid eat candy until they're like 10.

This was hard for you - because it meant you couldn't have candy in the house.

Secret stash of sweets hidden somewhere in your car.

Baby needs a snack? She's got cut up grapes in her bag.

It's just so cute seeing them play together.

I'd say he's a girl dad - the type to teach her how to shoot, or play football with.

9 times out of ten, he'll fall asleep while reading her a bedtime story, so he always just ends up sleeping in your daughters bed with her.

The two of them cuddled up on the tiny mattress - he's holding your little girl so protectively.

Dreamzzz season2 spoilers pt.1

(And my personal comments)

Alright. Starting from episode 1

I didn't realize that Cooper having a sudden interest in chips would be a hint to something later(it probably isn't but it seems like it to me). Cooper apperantly had a full list of things to fix and make... also the Night Bureau really can't do their job done properly can they. How does Cooper go to school? And study? And get good grades?? Also love how everyone names their cars

It was cool seeing Sneak working with them. And Nova, too bad they... uh- dissapear after like... episode 4? I think

Mateo trying to find a way to get z-blob back, and the Nightmare king... why is he such an icon all of a sudden?? Like-

Also, I like that how Mateo got the kid show treatment. Might as well sing 'we're all in this together'

And Dallas joining the knitting club!!

It was pretty nice. Just a simple small detail, but I like stuff like that so... Looks like he's not going to be bullying anyone now

It was very fun watching the crows(ravens? Don't remember) snatch their memories. When I saw what the memories that was stolen were about I started screaming like-

I actually think they all have a good reasoning. Logan always loved his music(would've been better if he forgot how to sing entirely) , Cooper... well he's the tech guy, and for Izzie, she was the who accepted the dream world the fastest. Who liked it the most in the first season right? There are more cool and amazing reasons than this but my stupid brain can't think of anything else right now

Episode 2

Apperantly there's a lava realm? Cool

Mr. Oz being angry, Logan being.. well, Logan. And Cooper is just adorable. He's having so much trouble. His purpose in life kinda snap

And when everyone else just jumps into the castle, Izzie takes her time to take the stairs

And Izzie having trouble with "dont open your mouth" she's so funnn

I had trouble understanding Astrid-

Royce guy has a weird whistle.

Cooper looks so happy until his mind went blank and his face is just- 'dude wait, what was I doing?' I thought he lost his tech skills?? Why did he become... dumber? It's cute though

Also, Logan said a lot of smart stuff in this episode. One of my favorites was

"If I forgot it, how would I know?"

Mr. Oz trying SO hard not to swear. I could see the struggle-

And the flash cards 😭 when did they get a rule book?!!(first ep)

Also, how many eggs do you think Cooper cracked. How does he not remember how to not but a bolt and screw together?? Just- stick it in! Learn to do it again? Poor thing

And the Night Hunter! +Susan and Snivel. They're a bunch of sillies

Cooper getting pressured by his family again- (is it just me or does he get his character development after like... two episodes and be the one stable guy holding the team together? He's useful. Like actually useful) Cooper's voice also wouldn't stop cracking

"Do you ever get sand in your eyes? Or your shorts?" (The Sandman had legs?? Yes, had. He... he gone now.)

Also kinda funny how all of Mateo's dreamcrafting gets blob-ified

"The one time! I actually want to hear your beats, and you forget?!"

Zoey! Why would you randomly jump into a cauldron!! (Also, the Night Hunters memory being Zoey- I already had a feel)

I'm also very curious of... what or who the Never Witch is??

There is a lot of pushing and shoving people. And it's only the second episode

Also-

"So you're not the tech genius you used to be. You still got- ....uh.... what other talents do you have?"

Oh godddd noooooooooooo he said it- Oh god........

"I'm gonna go drown my troubles in the candy realm" (kids. Too much sugar isn't good for you)

(He can't even figure out how to put his phone on silent anymore) he got an A+ in a science project, by cooking?? I thought it was a SCIENCE PROGECT??

Imagine a kid suddenly pulling out an apron and asking for a kitchen to work in. During a science project (he's a chef now), he also just... kept the flan? Thing, in his locker-.... is that... okay?

I mean... I did watch this science show on Netflix about these super smart girls and their names being mc². And one of them bakes. Using science. I mean... science works in everything... and I guess if the teachers said okay then its.. okay?

Sandman and Never Witch fighting, he will be remembered. It was pretty cool actually. I wonder if they have any history
