ahem. Winter apocalypse needs to be addressed

So the Avatars are confirmed to not actually originate as overseers of Lore so much as they wrested control and placed themselves above everyone else in the elemental planes. Some elves are old enough to remember and record times previous to the elemental war, were appeased originally by having Champions born among them (or maybe only elves could be Champions originally because they were attuned to magic, then when the Champions taught everyone how to do elemental magic humans etc could become Champions as well) and then have either adapted or become bitter isolationists.

Fimbul is a offshoot from the name Fimbulvetr (thanks fire emblem for helping me tip off to this) which is the endless winter meant to prelude Ragnarok in Norse mythology. Might just be a scary name, but it might be more! Glace and Kyanos killed a Fimbul, a Khion-, and a Al---ch.

Khion- is most likely Khione, who in real world mythology is a goddess of winter. So Al---ch must be some name of some winter related mythological power, unfortunately my brain completely empty of realistic options. So that makes it so Kyanos and Glace killed three winter dieties to prevent a winter apocalypse presumably. Usurping the position of Guardian of Ice Plane maybe? Either way this release was great.
