Anyone who loves silent films and Old Hollywood should definitely check out this lovely blog, thefilmwriter, run by a very sweet and intelligent lady named Kate. She posts a lot of Lillian and Dorothy Gish, Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis, as well as some more unknown stars such as June Caprice, Mabel Normand, and Mae Marsh. As for sound films, you can be sure to see a lot of Deanna Durbin, Judy Garland, and Moira Shearer on her blog. Aside from lovely photographs of the stars, Kate also writes stories, makes reels, and edits her photographs beautifully.
