#The sun and moon show bloodmoon

This is probably my proudest drawing in my sketchbook - Bloodmoon’s official design!

It was surprisingly tough to decide whether I wanted him to be tall and skeletal or short and muscular, but I eventually decided that short and muscular was a lot more intimidating and fit their brutish personality better. I kind of modeled both their postures and proportions after chimps and gorillas, because chimpanzees have terrified me ever since I heard about Travis the Chimp. I also modeled their teeth after piranhas - they’re all set in one solid row, and cut in a scissor-like way against each other when they chomp down - since that seemed like the most effective way to feed in the way they do! I decided to keep blue out of their design since I was too in love with their color scheme matching an actual irl blood moon event, and also added chained cuffs on their wrists for the same reason I gave them those spike collars - they’ve been owned and controlled their whole lives, and I felt something like the cuffs and collars in their designs would be symbolic lol. Also kept the raptor claw, just to make them that much more dangerous! I’d LOVE to see these blood boys in action, too bad the Sun and Moon Show is limited to being shot in VR chat!

So what do you guys think? I’m certainly satisfied, I finally got my own ‘official’ design for my favorite Sun and Moon Show villain! WOOO :D

bloodmoon can actually dance. i know hes nimble and agile enough. he chooses not to because hed be made fun of. but i do like to think when hes alone/ in the mindscape bm and his twin would dance :3 (i like to think theyd like columbian music- its fun and loud)

Okay, I have no idea how FNAF has captured me back into it's fandom again, but it has, and for some reason I really like the designs of the DCA.

I recently found @/garbagechocolate's account with a character named Bloodmoon, and omg I love them so much!!! Learned more about them after that and here we are!!!

Obviously I got inspiration for the design by garbagechocolate, I love it so much!!! But with the redesign form, that was mostly me thinking it wound be cool if his design was more for "Death". Since they died and came back with a cloak. It could be funny if they just wanted to be the Grim reaper now. (Also loved @/socksandbuttons idea of the boys being split after they came back to life. So I made it so one eye is always closed because of that. As well got a bit inspired by their design)
