Hello followers, I’m slowly getting out of the rut of things but it’s still an uphill climb. A few months ago I was going to steer the plot/premise of this blog into a far more darker tone but then realized I don’t want that (especially since I had a recent visit to the emergency room thanks to going full tilt.).

I really want to try to draw out asks at least in colors but I’m in that conflicted stage about how I want to do them. I also have a new tablet, unfortunately, Sai does not like it at all so I had to resort to learning how to use Krita... it’s a messy work in progress. The only thing I’ve been doing is doodling in Drawpile and I am pretty sure no one wants to see messy sketches, especially to be used for answering stuff in the inbox.

Unless you all want to prove me wrong that is, which brings me to asking the 4am question: What medium do you feel comfortable seeing hereL Traditional sketching, Drawpile Doodles, Digital flats? I sketch from time to time traditionally so I am competent in working with that. Drawpile has be the digital version of sketching and has been the go to when I want to empty my brain out or try to vent. Doing digital works take quite a while for me to get done since I’m trying to make sure it doesn’t look like vomit while I’m trying to learn a new way or method of coloring.

Please let me know, feedback helps me out and often helps my shattered artistic confidence. Thanks for reading and sticking with me.

[With arms folded, the Bellossom looks down blankly as he recalls the events that transpired.] ((Story segment contains the following: Conflict, burning))

“On my way back to my home, I came to find that it has be destroyed and leveled by a colony of Durants… Apparently, they thought it was a fantastic idea to just destroy everything to make a nest. So when I came into view they saw me as a threat, and well…”

“They thought it was a great idea to launch an attack at me, so I started to set them on fire.” [The Bellossom recalled as he thought about the just how fast things escalated. Though this wasn’t new for him to be in such a situation like that.]

“The deal with Durants… they don’t come in twos or threes or even fives…” [The outlandish Bellossom added]

“No, they come in have whatever they have in the colony, and trust me: counting how many were there means nothing when the moment you take down just one there’s twelve taking it’s place…” 

“Safe to say that I had a rather busy night…” [The Bellossom said, finishing what he recalled during the night of fighting.]
