Avery's not supposed to be cool. He's had 2 appointments and said like less than 20 words in the entire story and all of those radiate incompetence. He is a spoiled rich kid but he's not of the frat boy bully variant. Gets humbled very quickly once he has to face the real world outside the comfort of home. My favorite depictions of him are Fourth Man Avery (an old theory that's canon. To me), and Avilius Avery from Falling Apart (he is my baby son)
